Early Paleozoic Bimodal Magmatism Documents the Transition from Collisional to Extensional Tectonics within the Central Himalaya

The tectonic setting of the Himalaya during the Early Paleozoic has been a subject of enduring debate within the scientific community.Newly discovered bimodal intrusive rocks from comprehensive field geological investigation in the central mountain range were subjected to petrology,zircon U-Pb geochronology,zircon Hf isotopes and whole-rock geochemistry analyses.The Palie bimodal intrusive rocks,comprising amphibolite and granitic gneiss,were formed at~489 Ma.The amphibolite exhibits geochemical characteristics consistent with N-MORB,while the granitic gneiss is classified as high potassium calc-alkaline peraluminous S-type granite.Both igneous rocks exhibit negative zirconε_(Hf)(t)values and display ancient T_(DM)^(C)ages.In conjunction with regional geological survey findings,it can be inferred that the formation of the Palie bimodal intrusive rocks occurred within a post-collision extensional tectonic setting.The amphibolite genesis involved partial melting of an enriched lithospheric mantle with some crustal assimilation,whereas the origin of the granitic gneiss can be attributed to partial melting of pre-existing felsic crust.Our data indicate that during the Early Paleozoic,the Himalaya underwent a transition from a pan-African collisional setting to post-collisional extensional tectonics. 展开更多

为初步了解申克孢子丝菌Sporothrix schenckii基因组中真菌特有蛋白PalI和PalI样蛋白的生物学特征,利用在线生物信息学分析软件,对两蛋白理化特征、功能域、二级结构、抗原表位等进行分析预测。发现两蛋白理论分子量分别为24.6kDa和75.6... 为初步了解申克孢子丝菌Sporothrix schenckii基因组中真菌特有蛋白PalI和PalI样蛋白的生物学特征,利用在线生物信息学分析软件,对两蛋白理化特征、功能域、二级结构、抗原表位等进行分析预测。发现两蛋白理论分子量分别为24.6kDa和75.6kDa,等电点均偏碱性;属于同一蛋白家族,具有相同的功能域和多个PKC磷酸化位点;两蛋白在近氨基端区域相似度较高,并与其他模式真菌中同源蛋白有很高相似度;同时,两蛋白都有跨膜区,氨基端序列三级结构极为相似,并有丰富的抗原表位。通过生物信息学分析对申克孢子丝菌PalI和PalI样蛋白生物学特征有了初步的认识,为后续实验研究提供有力支持。 展开更多

A New Mixed Clustering-Based Method to Analyze the Gait of Children with Cerebral Palsy

Cerebral palsy is a group of persistent central movement and posturaldevelopmental disorders, and restricted activity syndromes. This syndrome iscaused by non-progressive brain damage to the developing fetus or infants. Cerebralpalsy assessment can determine whether the brain is behind or abnormal. If itexists, early intervention and rehabilitation can be carried out as soon as possibleto restore brain function to the greatest extent. The direct external manifestation ofcerebral palsy is abnormal gait. Accurately determining the muscle strengthrelatedreasons that cause this abnormal gait is the primary problem for treatment.In this paper, clustering methods were used to compare and analyze the differencesbetween the abnormal and normal gait parameters of children with andwithout cerebral palsy. Since the collected data contains overlapping data thatmay be mutated, while the centroids are also different, the expected result is stratified.To solve this problem, a mixed clustering method is proposed that combinesthe advantages of K-means and hierarchical clustering, meaning that eachset of data shows a similar trend to specific parameters. Experiment results showthat this method can detect cerebral palsy through the difference between theabnormal gait of children with cerebral palsy and that of normal children. 展开更多

LX3的蔗糖异构酶PalI的稳定性和可重复利用性进行研究。结果发现,海藻酸钠包埋法在海藻酸钠、CaCl_2质量分数为1.5%、2%时,所得固定化酶的酶活最高,其最适反应温度为40℃,最适pH值为6;戊二醛交联法在(NH_4)_2SO_4质量分数为90%,戊二醛体积分数为2. 5%时得到的固定酶酶活最高,交联酶的最适反应温度为50℃,最适pH值为5,通过对酶的稳定性比较,两种方法酶稳定性都优于游离酶。4℃保存20 d后游离酶的酶活降低到30%,而戊二醛交联酶活性在95%以上,海藻酸钠固定化酶残余酶活仍在60%左右。戊二醛交联法固定酶活性优于海藻酸钠固定化酶,重复利用12次戊二醛交联酶,其残余酶活仍为80%。 展开更多

异麦芽酮糖是一种重要的工业原料和食品原料,来自Klebsiella sp.LX3的蔗糖异构酶能够有效催化蔗糖异构化为异麦芽酮糖。为研究食品安全型蔗糖异构酶,并提高蔗糖异构酶的产量与酶活力,对蔗糖异构酶的编码基因PalI进行密码子优化,构建于... 异麦芽酮糖是一种重要的工业原料和食品原料,来自Klebsiella sp.LX3的蔗糖异构酶能够有效催化蔗糖异构化为异麦芽酮糖。为研究食品安全型蔗糖异构酶,并提高蔗糖异构酶的产量与酶活力,对蔗糖异构酶的编码基因PalI进行密码子优化,构建于解脂耶氏酵母外泌表达菌株,获得重组蔗糖异构酶PalI。酶活力测定结果表明,其酶活力为916 U/mg,高于以往报道的蔗糖异构酶酶活力。酶学性质分析结果表明,该酶最适作用温度为40℃,最适pH为5.7,且该酶对酸性及碱性环境的耐受力范围较广,较以往报道的蔗糖异构酶的稳定性有显著提高。重组酶PalI能够有效地与蔗糖反应,主产物为异麦芽酮糖和海藻酮糖,存在少量副产物。 展开更多

Pali is considered as the language of the canon continued to be influenced by analysts and grammarians,and by the native languages of the countries like Sri Lanka,in which Therava da Buddhism became established over many years.The Pali language has been used to write many stone inscriptions in ancient times.For ordinary travelers the recognition of the content of ancient inscriptions and some other written material are not possible.This study has focused to find a solution with a mobile application to recognize Pali characters in a user-friendly User Interface.The character recognition in real time is the most essential part of the study.Machine learning and neural networks are trending technologies adapted for handwriting recognition in some languages.But for many languages this technology has not been developed yet.Pali is one of such languages that had survived until the eighteenth century.In this study the images of Pali letters are identified through a trained Convolution Neural Network(CNN).Python and Android Studio software were used for training process and identifying letters respectively with the developed mobile application.The limited capacity and the processing power of a mobile phone makes it more challenging to run the application.Tensor Flow Lite is end to end open source platform in machine learning.Therefore,Tensor Flow Lite was used in this study.Since the Android mobile is a common equipment which everybody has in modern societies,using this Off-line Pali character Recognition mobile application the archelogy researchers and travelers can use them conveniently to understand the content written in ancient documents. 展开更多

The western Himalaya has had a central role as a life support system for the local people and as a source of ecologgical services.This long term use of these resources,including livestock grazing,fuel wood collection and a variety of other uses,has shaped its montane cultural landscape.The present paper focuses on resource utilization in the Pall Gad watershed,which consists of 25 villages situated in the lesser Himalaya.Using a satellite derived map,natural resources available in this area were assessed,and the ecosystem services provided by them and level of pressure on them were com-puted through a door to door socioeconomic survey.The study revealed a spatio-temporal variation in the resource demand and extraction at the permanent villages.Average fuel wood consumption was 1.12 kg/day/capita,fodder consumption was 3.69 kg/day/capita from lopping and 3.25 kg/day/capita from grass collection from forest.An attempt has been taken toevaluate the ecosystem services.The forest provides more provisional and regulatory services,whereas agriculture provides more supporting services and river bed/water bodies serve more cultural purposes for the locals.This study contributes an example of a human shaped ecosystem in a mountainous region where an additional fragmentation of natural resources exists.An increase in resource demand has been noticed in the less productive lands of the region.This has resulted in increased resource extraction from the entire watershed may not be sustainable in the long run. 展开更多
