The color difference of capsicum fruit is closely related to the type and content of pigment in the peel,which is mainly determined by anthocyanins,chlorophyll,and carotenoids.This study used green“CA59”and purple“Z81”pepper fruits as parents to create the F2 generation.The fruit color of 466 F2 population was identified,and the extreme individuals from this population were selected for Bulked Segregant Analysis(BSA)using resequencing.Genetic analysis revealed that a pair of genes controls the expression of the purple fruit trait in capsicum.Using functional annotation,expression analysis,and sequencing analysis of candidate genes,it was determined that there were four genes in the region between InDel 67 and InDel 75(185,664,068 BP-186,514,350 bp)on chromosome 10,that is the linkage interval for pepper purple fruit.There are 7 SNPs in the CaMYB1 gene(Capann_59V1aChr10g016200)in the pepper variety“Z81”.Of these,4 SNPs are located in the gene’s coding region.These 4 SNPs lead to 2 mutations that do not change the amino acid sequence(synonymous mutations)and 2 mutations that do change the amino acid sequence(non-synonymous mutations).Additionally,the expression level of the CaMYB1 gene in the purple fruit of“Z81”is significantly higher than that in the green fruit of“CA59”.CaMYB1 is believed to be a crucial candidate gene in regulating anthocyanin production in purple capsicum fruit.A molecular marker,InDel 67,was successfully developed,with a total separation rate of 92.4%. 展开更多

Trade-offs and synergies of ecosystem services in the hilly purple soil area of southwestern China:Implications for sustainable land management

The hilly purple soil area is a major grainproducing region in southwestern China,where noticeable land use change has occurred along with socio-economic development over recent decades.Degradation of ecosystem services(ESs)is therefore widespread.Understanding the interactions among ESs in the case of anthropogenic disturbance and environmental change is needed for sustainable land management.Here,we analyze the synergies/tradeoffs and bundles between ESs in this region between 1990-2015.By using the InVEST model,Geo-Detector method,and multi-source datasets,we investigated the socio-ecological drivers that dominate the dynamics of ESs.We found that ESs exhibit divergent temporal trends;food production shows a rising trend,habitat quality a declining trend,and water yield a highly variable response.Provisioning services,especially food production,have common and enduring trade-offs with other ESs.Mutual transformation occurred between ES bundles with water related ES bundles experiencing a weakness in synergistic effects.ESs that are predominantly driven by ecological drivers have gradually become controlled by social drivers which suggests the impacts of human activities in ESs are gradually increasing.Thus,integrated management policies such as land consolidation are needed to coordinate management.This study provides strategies based on ES bundles with different functional and management priorities.Also,integrating vertical zoning into land management to ensure sustainable agricultural production in lowland basins. 展开更多

Observation of therapeutic effect of lamp irradiation combined with purple gromwell oil gauze on alleviating intestinal colic in patients

BACKGROUND Intestinal colic is a common complication in patients who have undergone radical surgery for colorectal cancer.Traditional Chinese medicine has advantages,including safety and stability,for the treatment of intestinal colic.Lamp irra-diation for abdominal ironing has been applied in the treatment of many gas-trointestinal diseases.Purple gromwell oil has the effects of clearing heat,cooling blood,reducing swelling,and relieving pain.RESULTS The general effective rate in the observation group was 95.00%,which was significantly higher than that in the control group(86.67%,P<0.05).Before treatment,there was no significant difference in the duration of symptoms between the groups(P>0.05).After 1,2,3,and 4 d of treatment,the duration of symptoms in both groups were decreased,and the duration in the observation group was significantly lower than that in the control group(96.54±9.57 vs 110.45±11.23,87.26±12.07 vs 104.44±11.68,80.45±16.21 vs 99.44±14.95,73.18±15.58 vs 92.17±14.20;P<0.05).After 1,3,5,and 7 d of treatment,the NRS scores in both groups were decreased,and the NRS scores in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group(3.56±0.41 vs 4.04±0.58,3.07±0.67 vs 3.74±1.02,2.52±0.76 vs 3.43±0.85,2.03±0.58 vs 3.03±0.82;P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the rate of adverse reaction occurrence between the groups(P>0.05).CONCLUSION The use of lamp irradiation combined with purple gromwell oil gauze in patients with intestinal colic after radical surgery for colorectal cancer can reduce symptom duration,alleviate intestinal colic,and improve treatment efficacy,and this approach is safe.It is worth promoting the use of this treatment in clinical practice. 展开更多

[Objectives]This study was conducted to find out regulatory genes related to purple in spears of asparagus(Asparagus officinalis L.).[Methods]The stable asparagus inbred line JX1513-5(the base of the spear is purple)and JLV1718-7(the base of the spear is green)were used as parents to study the genetic law of purple/green traits in their offspring.[Results]The results showed that the purple in the basal part of asparagus spear was controlled by a pair of alleles,and purple was dominant over green.The F 2 segregation population was resequenced by the bulk segregation analysis(BSA)method,and the purple trait in the basal part of asparagus spear was located in the interval of 24.51-25.08 Mb on Chr07 chromosome,which included 47 genes.According to the annotation information,three candidate genes were screened out:LOC109849403,LOC109849430 and LOC109849442.The candidate genes were verified by real-time fluorescence quantitative PCR(qRT-PCR),and finally LOC109849442 was obtained as the candidate gene for controlling the purple/green trait in the basal part of asparagus spear.[Conclusions]This study lays a foundation for the breeding of new asparagus varieties and molecular marker-assisted breeding. 展开更多

Effects of Long-term Fertilization on Micro-morphological Features in Purple Soil 被引量:2

[Objective] The study aimed to better understand the effect of different fertilizer treatments on micro-morphological characteristics of a purple soil at the 0-20 cm topsoil in a long-term fertilizer experiment. [Method] Soil micro-morphology was observed and analyzed under a single polarizing microscope. [Result] For the CK (no fertilizer) treatment, soil structure was dense with little porosity developed. Its soil microstructure was poor, sandy fabric-granular fabric. After continuously applied chemical fertilizers only for more than two decades, the soil particles did not evolve into soil structures and formed little porosity. The microstructures of soil in N, NP and NPK treatments were porphyroskelic fabric-fine sandy granular fabric, better than that of the soil in CK treatment. Adding manure obviously improved the quantity of groundmass and endowed the soil a loose structure and plenty porosity, enriched animal and plant residues, and well-formed iron-manganese nodules and humus ma- terials, all resulting in better micro-aggregates development. The type of soil microstructures in MNPK treatment was pectized-compacted takyric fabric-intertextic fabric, the best among all the treatments. [Conclusion] Combined application of both or- ganic and inorganic fertilizers can significantly improve the structure of the purple soil, enhance soil fertility and achieve soil sustainable development. 展开更多

Fluorescence spectra of native purple bacterial reaction center (RC) and bacterial pheophytin (Bphe) replaced RCs were obtained from 600 nm to 900 nm with a selective excitation at 597 nm. With the help of measuring the fluorescence from bacterial chlorophyll, bacterial pheophytin and plant pheophytin, the corresponding components in the RCs are classified for fluorescence emission. Results showed that pheophytin substitution influences the composition of fluorescence spectra. Therefore, four, three and two components were obtained from fluorescence spectra of native RC, Bphe B_replaced RC and Bphe A,B _replaced RC, respectively. Fluorescence components are well correlated to the binding of plant pheophytin. The decay of excited state of primary electron donor P in different RCs was also studied by measuring the fluorescence decay at 686.4, 674.1 and 681.1 nm, respectively. The decaying kinetics changed in different RCs, indicating that pheophytin replacement influenced the energy transduction and primary photochemical reaction in purple bacterial reaction centers. 展开更多

[Method] The ultrasound-assisted extraction technology was used to study the extraction of proacyanidins from purple cabbage. The effect of ethanol concentration, temperature, time, material-solution ratio and the power of ultrasound on extracting efficiency were studied by single-factor experiment. Based on this, L16(4%orthogonal test were conducted to determine the optimal condi- tion for extraction of proacyanidins from purple cabbage. [Result] The optimal condi- tion for extraction of proacyanidins from purple cabbage was as follows: ethanol concentration 50%, extraction temperature 50℃, extraction time 1 h, extraction power 540 W, material-liquid ratio 1:20. The extraction rate of procyanidins under this condition reached 104.8 mg/g. [Conclusion] The study provided a theoretical basis for scientific and reasonable utilization of procyanidins in purple cabbage. 展开更多

[Objective] This study was to explore the effect of purple yam on the nutritional and physiological functions of rats.[Method] Forty SD rats were randomly divided into four groups with ten rats in each group which were reared with artificial semisynthetic feed added with 10% steamed yam powder.The four groups,the casein(CK) group which was used as the control,the purple yam(PY) group,the Tiegun yam(TY) group and common Huai yam(HY) group,were supplied with feed of equal content of energy,protein and fat.The rats were pair-fed for 56 days to observe changes of relevant nutritional and physiological indices.[Result] There were no significant differences of body weight,food conversion rate and organ indices between rats in PY group and CK group.Mean corpuscular hemoglobin in PY group was significantly lower than that in CK group;hemoglobin showed no significant difference with that in CK group;eosnophils was lower than that in CK group.Low density lipoprotein-cholesterol,total cholesterol and atherogenic index in PY group were lower than that in the other three groups;anti-atherogenic index was the highest among the four groups,while showing no significant difference;triglyceride content was lower than that in CK group.Among the antioxidant indices,the activity of catalase and superoxide dismutase were higher than that in CK group,while malondialdehyde content was lower than that in CK group.[Conclusion] Purple yam showed the trend of reducing the content of blood glucose,total cholesterol,low density lipoprotein-cholesterol,triglyceride,malondialdehyde,and raising the activity of glutathione peroxidase,superoxide dismutase and catalase,thus having certain antioxidative function. 展开更多

The results showed that the whole growth period of Liangtianzi 1 was 146 d. Its biomass yield was above 10 t/hm^2, while its economic yield was only about 3 t/hm^2. Transplanting density had a large impact on the number of effective panicles, number of grains par panicle, seed setting rate and yield of purple rice variety. In this study, the planting spacing of 20.0 cm × 20.0 cm gained the highest yield, 3.63 t/hm^2. Key techniques for high-yielding cultivation of Liangtianzi 1 remain to further research. 展开更多

[Method] Purple sweet potatoes were dried at two specific temperatures and prepared into preliminarily-processed products for gelatinization simulation to analyze the extraction amount of anthocyanins from gelatinized samples at different gelatinization stages. [Result] During the gelatinization process, the extraction rate of anthocyanins from purple sweet potato samples reached the highest as the temperature rised from 90 ℃ to 95 ℃,and the extraction amount of anthocyanins reached the maximum at 15 min postheat preservation at 95 ℃. Purple sweet potato samples dried at 60 ℃ exhibited larger retention amount, larger maximum extraction amount and higher maximum extraction rate of anthocyanins compared with those dried at 110 ℃. [Conclusion] Drying at low temperatures and appropriately shortening the initial gelatinization stage below 90 ℃ is conducive to the retention and extraction of anthocyanins from purple sweet potatoes. 展开更多

[Result] ‘Weixiang No.1’ exhibited the highest yield of 41.9 t/hm2, which was improved by 25.8% compared with ‘Longyan 7-3’; fresh tuber yield of ‘Jishu No. 18’ reached 31.6 t/hm2, which was simiIar to that of ‘Longyan 7-3’; dried sweet potato products of ‘Jishu No.18’ and ‘Weixiang No.1’ not onIy had simiIar process stabiIity, taste and coIor to ‘Longyan 7-3’, but also exhibited exceI ent morphoIogy, coIor, transparency, taste and texture, which indicated that these two purpIe sweet potato varieties were suitabIe for processing dried sweet potato products; fried sweet potato chips of ‘Jishu No.18’ and ‘Weixiang No.1’ had moderate oiI content, high expansion degree and simiIar quality to ‘Longyan 7-3’, which indicated that these two purpIe sweet potato varieties were suitabIe for processing fried sweet potato chips; ‘Fushu No.9’, ‘Quanzi No.1’ and ‘Ninzi No.1’ exhibited beautifuI shape, high nutritional quality and good eating quality, which were suitabIe for fresh eating or processing sweet potato powder. Prediction Model of Secondary Substances in Anthocyanins Synthesis of Purple Corn

The aim of this study was to assay the polyphenols,flavonoid,polyphenol oxidase and phenylalnine ammonialyase which were relative to the anthocyanins synthesis of purple corn. The optimization of multiple linear regression model of anthocyanins synthesis was y=4.383 86-0.205 45x1+5.479 638x2+0.195 575x4. According to standard partial regression coefficient testing,the result indicated that polyphenols content was negatively correlated with anthocyanins and the relative influence to anthocyanins synthesis was-42.7%; flavonoid content and activity of polyphenol oxidase were positively correlated with anthocyanins of purple corn and the relative influence to anthocyanins synthesis were 71.45% and 73.32% respectively. There was no positive correlation between the activity of phenylalnine ammonialyase and anthocyanins of purple corn. The establishment of multiple linear regression model of anthocyanins synthesis was to provide theory foundation of producing anthocyanins in laboratory. 展开更多

[Objective] This study aimed to investigate the appropriate dose of 60^Co-γ irradiation for tubers of purple sweet potato.[Methods] The tubers of two purple sweet potato varieties Xuzi L-7 and Yuenanzi were used as experimental materials,and treated with 60^Co-γ irradiation at different doses(0,25,50,75,100,125 and 150 Gy) to determine the emergence rate,number of emerged seedlings per tuber and fresh weight per seedling.[Results] After the 60^Co-γ irradiation at different doses,the emergence period of tubers was postponed while the emergence rate,number of emerged seedlings per tuber and fresh weight per plant were decreased,and the differences between different varieties and different irradiation doses reached significance level.Compared with the control,the emergence period of tubers at irradiation doses above 25 Gy were postponed by 2,3,5,6 and 12 d,respectively.[Conclusion] The half lethal dose(LD50) of Xuzi L-7 was 66.73 Gy,and that of Yuenanzi was 74.96 Gy. 展开更多

Their seed traits such as seed length, seed width, thickness of seed and 1 000-grain weight were comparatively analyzed. [ Result] The average seed length, average seed width, average seed thickness and average 1 000-grain weight of white flower Platycodon grandiflorum were all smaller than these of purple flower Platycodon grandiflorum. The seed length of Korean white flower Platycodon grandiflorum was relatively longer and seed lengths of other white flower Platycodon grandiflorum were all shorter than these of purple flower Platycodon grandiflorum. The seed widths of white flower Platycodon grandiflorum were smaller than these of purple flower P/atycodon grandiflorum, except these of Korean white flower Platycodon grandiflorum, Heilongjiang Ning'an and South Korean Jiangyuan. The 1 000-grain weights of white flower Platycodon grandiflorum were all smaller than these of purple flower Platycodon grandiflorum, except these of Korean Rajin and Sancheng white flower Platycodon grandiflorum. [Objective] The aim was to carry out the quality research on a purple leaf mutant (PLM) of rice and provide the basis for applied research of purple rice.[Method] A newly discovered purple mutant of rice and its hybrid filial generations (F1 and F2) were employed as the experimental materials to determine its characteristic indexes,such as grain type,chalky grain rate,chalkiness,1 000-grain weight,brown rice percentage,protein content,amylose content,gelatinization temperature and consistency.[Result] The grain type and brown rice percentage of the parent (pro-Z) both reached standard of Ⅰ Grade,while chalky grain rate,chalkiness,amylose content and consistency did not meet the requirements of the standard.The F2 generation displayed some optimized properties,including larger grain,lower amylose content,reduced chalkiness,lower chalky grain rate and softened consistency.[Conclusion] The majority of the characteristic indexes of pro-Z did not meet the requirements of standard,but the qualities of F2 generation were all optimized to some extent. 展开更多

目的:检测长链非编码RNA PURPL(p53 upregulated regulator of p53 levels)在卵巢上皮性癌(epithelial ovarian cancer,EOC)组织中的表达情况,探讨其在卵巢癌发生发展中的作用。方法:选用开放医学数据库lncRNASNP2、GEPIA和Kaplan-Meier... 目的:检测长链非编码RNA PURPL(p53 upregulated regulator of p53 levels)在卵巢上皮性癌(epithelial ovarian cancer,EOC)组织中的表达情况,探讨其在卵巢癌发生发展中的作用。方法:选用开放医学数据库lncRNASNP2、GEPIA和Kaplan-Meier Plotter检索PURPL在EOC组织中的表达及其与预后的关系。收集2012年10月至2015年10月郑州大学第一附属医院105例患者的临床病理资料,其中包括正常卵巢组织20例、良性卵巢上皮性肿瘤组织20例、EOC组织65例,采用实时荧光定量PCR检测上述不同卵巢组织中的PURPL表达情况,分析EOC组织中PURPL表达与EOC临床病理指标的关系,Kaplan-Meier法分析PURPL表达对EOC患者生存的影响。结果:数据库检索显示,EOC组织中PURPL的表达显著高于正常卵巢组织,PURPL表达升高与EOC患者的总生存(overall survival,OS)率和无复发生存期(recurrence-free survival,RFS)缩短相关。实时荧光定量PCR检测显示,晚期EOC组织中的PURPL表达为0.530±0.004,显著高于正常卵巢组织的0.029±0.001、良性卵巢上皮性肿瘤组织的0.135±0.001和早期EOC组织的0.488±0.006的表达(P<0.0001)。临床分期越晚(χ2=10.785,P=0.001)、有淋巴结转移(χ2=4.481,P=0.034)的EOC组织中的PURPL高表达。PURPL表达水平相对较高的EOC患者的OS和RFS,明显短于PURPL表达水平相对较低的患者(P<0.05)。结论:PURPL高表达提示EOC患者预后不良,可作为EOC预后监测的潜在标记物。 展开更多
