Intracerebral hemorrhage(ICH) is a significant and growing threat to human health,with increasing incidence.Promoting blood circulation and removing blood stasis therapy(PBCRBS),a Traditional Chinese Medicine therapy,...Intracerebral hemorrhage(ICH) is a significant and growing threat to human health,with increasing incidence.Promoting blood circulation and removing blood stasis therapy(PBCRBS),a Traditional Chinese Medicine therapy,can be an adjuvant therapy to benefit patients with ICH by improving clinical efficacy.However,in theory,using PBCRBS to treat ICH carries the risk of hematoma enlargement and rebleeding,which has led to controversy over its application in ICH treatment.To demonstrate the effectiveness and safety of PBCRBS in treating ICH,this review first analyzes the pathological and physiological basis of ICH and secondly,the cascade of response after ICH and the involvement of cytokines and signaling pathways in this process.Finally,experimental and clinical studies on the treatment of ICH with PBCRBS over the past decade were retrieved from the Pub Med and China National Knowledge Infrastructure databases,and the content of these studies was used to summarize commonly used herbs with PBCRBS effects and their mechanisms of action.Through analysis,hypertension has been identified as the most common cause of ICH.Heme,interleukin,reactive oxygen species,coagulation promoting particles and other induced mass effects,inflammation,oxidative stress,and coagulation cascade reactions lead to brain damage following ICH.This review includes 56 experimental studies and 83 clinical studies summarizing 28 commonly used herbs,demonstrating the positive impact of PBCRBS as an adjuvant therapy for ICH.In summary,PBCRBS appears effective and safe for treating ICH.展开更多
[Objectives]This study was conducted to explore the culture conditions for siderophore production and preliminarily investigate the growth-promoting effects of strains.[Methods]Endophytic bacteria secreting siderophor...[Objectives]This study was conducted to explore the culture conditions for siderophore production and preliminarily investigate the growth-promoting effects of strains.[Methods]Endophytic bacteria secreting siderophores were isolated and screened from the roots of the plant Saposhnikovia divaricata(Trucz.)Schischk.The siderophore-producing capability was confirmed through qualitative detection and gene cluster analysis.[Results]The screened endophytic bacterium PB-2 belonged to the genus Paenibacillus sp.and could produce catechol-type or carboxylate-type siderophores.When cultured in MKB medium with 15 g/L glycerol as the carbon source and 6 g/L glycine as the nitrogen source for 3 d,the strain exhibited efficient siderophore secretion.Appropriate concentrations of Fe^(3+),Co^(2+),Cu^(2+)and Al^(3+)promoted siderophore production,with 15μmol/L Fe^(3+)being the most effective.Under the combined influences of siderophores,volatile compounds and other factors,strain PB-2 altered the root morphology of mulberry seedlings and increased their biomass.The primary root length decreased by 9.15%,while the number and length of root hairs increased by 37.93%and 16.37%,respectively,and the total biomass increased by 10.26%,all showing significant differences(P<0.05).Additionally,strain PB-2 enhanced the activities of defense-related enzymes in mulberry seedling leaves.The activities of superoxide dismutase(SOD)and peroxidase(POD)increased significantly(P<0.05)by 247.27%and 189.47%,respectively,compared with the control group.The activities of phenylalanine ammonialyase(PAL)and polyphenol oxidase(PPO)also showed varying degrees of increase.[Conclusions]This study provided a theoretical basis for rational utilization of endophytic growth-promoting strains secreting siderophores in the sustainable development of agriculture.展开更多

Methods In 286 cases of spasmodic CP, 7 kinds of Chinese massage were adopted, named massage on acupoints to promote circulation of the Governor Vessel, massage for strengthening the spleen and benefiting qi, spine-pinching therapy, segmental massage, foot massage, massage for promoting the recovery of muscle strength and massage for promoting ROM of joints. Chinese massage was applied in musical background. Buddha music and five-element music of Chinese medicine (music of the Heart, Liver and Kidney Meridians) were optioned. The treatment was given once or twice a day and 30 days made one course. The angles of femoral adductor and dorsal flexion of foot as well as the score of composite spasticity scale (CSS) were observed before and after treatment so that the therapeutic effect was assessed. Results In 30 days of treatment, 106 cases (37. 1%) were effective markedly, 172 cases (60. 1%) effective and 8 cases (2.8%) failed. The angle of dorsal flexion of foot was (105.64± 12.66)° and (76.58± 9.89)° before and after treatment respectively; the angle of femoral adductor was (119.89±25.47)° and (158.99± 18.66)° before and after treatment respectively; the score of CSS was (12.39±2.56) and (7. 069 ± 2.97) before and after treatment respectivel, there was significant difference before and after treatment (all P〈0.01). Conclusion Chinese massage for promoting the Governor Vessel, benefiting the kidney and strengthening the spleen combined with music therapy brings the extremely active effect into play on the recovery of sitting, kneeling, standing and walking for children with CP.展开更多

Background Health promotion(HP)interventions delivered through sports clubs have demonstrated promising outcomes among men,but less is known about which aspects of the interventions work,for whom,and under what circum...Background Health promotion(HP)interventions delivered through sports clubs have demonstrated promising outcomes among men,but less is known about which aspects of the interventions work,for whom,and under what circumstances.This rapid realist review aimed to understand the contexts,mechanisms,and outcomes of HP interventions for men delivered through sports clubs.Methods A systematic literature search was conducted in February 2023 for studies published after 2013 in MEDLINE,Embase,and SPORTDiscus databases.Included studies:(a)were delivered by or in collaboration with sports clubs,(b)targeted men aged 18+years,and(c)reported 1 or more HP outcomes.A grey literature search was also performed.Studies were included in a realist synthesis based on richness and rigor.Hereafter,context-mechanism-outcome(CMO)configurations were developed.Results We identified and screened 3358 studies,finally including 59 studies describing 22 interventions.Most HP interventions were delivered in high income countries,included Caucasian men aged 35-65 years with overweight/obesity,and used professional sports clubs(mostly football)for recruitment and facilities.Quantitative HP outcomes were reported across 19 interventions.Of these 19 interventions,the majority reported on weight(n=18),physical activity(n=12),mental health(n=10),and diet(n=9).We identified 13 CMOs related to how HP interventions affected men's recruitment,engagement,and health behavior maintenance.Conclusion Our findings show that using sports clubs for HP interventions is effective for engaging men.Recruitment was facilitated by leveraging sports clubs’identity,addressing masculinity-related barriers,improving accessibility,and building trust.Engagement was enhanced through shared identity experiences,safe spaces,inclusive competition,and self-efficacy.However,there's limited evidence on behavior maintenance post-intervention,though involving community stakeholders seemed vital.In general,considerations should be made to avoid perpetuating traditional masculine norms,which may exclude some men and reinforce unhealthy behaviors.These findings can guide intervention development,emphasizing the need to harness men's perspectives in the process.展开更多
Fe_2O_3 nanorods and hexagonal nanoplates were synthesized and used as the promoters for Pt electrocatalysts toward the methanol oxidation reaction(MOR) in an alkaline electrolyte.The catalysts were characterized by...Fe_2O_3 nanorods and hexagonal nanoplates were synthesized and used as the promoters for Pt electrocatalysts toward the methanol oxidation reaction(MOR) in an alkaline electrolyte.The catalysts were characterized by scanning electron microscopy,transmission electron microscopy,X-ray diffraction,X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy,cyclic voltammetry and chronoamperometry.The results show that the presence of Fe_2O_3 in the electrocatalysts can promote the kinetic processes of MOR on Pt,and this promoting effect is related to the morphology of the Fe_2O_3 promoter.The catalyst with Fe_2O_3 nanorods as the promoter(Pt-Fe_2O_3/C-R) exhibits much higher catalytic activity and stability than that with Fe_2O_3 nanoplates as the promoter(Pt-Fe_2O_3/C-P).The mass activity and specific activity of Pt in a Pt-Fe_2O_3/C-R catalyst are 5.32 A/mgpt and 162.7 A/m^2_(Pt),respectively,which are approximately 1.67 and 2.04 times those of the Pt-Fe_2O_3/C-P catalyst,and 4.19 and 6.16 times those of a commercial PtRu/C catalyst,respectively.Synergistic effects between Fe_2O_3 and Pt and the high content of Pt oxides in the catalysts are responsible for the improvement.These findings contribute not only to our understanding of the MOR mechanism but also to the development of advanced electrocatalysts with high catalytic properties for direct methanol fuel cells.展开更多

It was identiifed as Burkholderia...Aiming at searching for plant growth promoting rhizobacteria (PGPR), a bacterium strain coded as 7016 was isolated from soybean rhizosphere and was characterized in the present study. It was identiifed as Burkholderia sp. based on 16S rDNA sequence analysis, as wel as phenotypic and biochemical characterizations. This bacterium presented nitrogenase activity, 1-aminocyclopropane-1-carboxylic acid (ACC) deaminase activity and phosphate solubilizing ability;inhibited the growth of Sclerotinia sclerotiorum, Gibberel a zeae and Verticil ium dahliae;and produced smal quantities of indole acetic acid (IAA). In green house experiments, signiifcant increases in shoot height and weight, root length and weight, and stem diameter were observed on tomato plants in 30 d after inoculation with strain 7016. Result of 16S rDNA PCR-DGGE showed that 7016 survived in the rhizosphere of tomato seedlings. In the ifeld experiments, Burkholderia sp. 7016 enhanced the tomato yield and signiifcantly promoted activities of soil urease, phosphatase, sucrase, and catalase. Al these results demonstrated Burkholderia sp. 7016 as a valuable PGPR and a candidate of biofertilizer.展开更多

Large-scale excavation for extracting bioactive compounds from the plants in arid regions of Xinjiang over the last few years has, however, significandy decreased their distributions. Due to the urgent need for preservation of these plant resources, along with the need of searching for alternative source of the useful metabolites, it is important to screen the endophytic microbial resources associated with the plant Ferula sinkiangensis K. M. Shen. In the study, a total of 125 endophytic bacteria belonging to 3 phyla, 13 orders, 23 families, and 29 genera were isolated based on 16S rRNA gene sequencing data. Among the different isolates, three strains isolated from roots were potential novel species of the genera Porphyrobacter, Paracoccus and draycofatopsis. In this study, 79.4% and 57.1% of the total isolates were capable of producing indole-3-acetic acid (IAA) and siderophore, respectively. And, 40.6% of the strains inhibit the growth of fungal pathogen Afternaria alternata, 17.2% and 20.2% strains were positive for antagonism against Vertidllium dahlia 991 and V. dahlia 7, respectively. These results demonstrated that E sinkiangensis is a rich reservoir of endophytic bacterial resources with potential for production of biologically important functions such as plant growth-promoting factors.展开更多

OBJECTIVE:To investigate the efficacy of Chinese medicines on Qi stagnation and blood stasis in rats with myocardial ischemia.METHODS:Fifty male Wistar rats were randomly divided into five groups(n=10)as follows:(a)sh...OBJECTIVE:To investigate the efficacy of Chinese medicines on Qi stagnation and blood stasis in rats with myocardial ischemia.METHODS:Fifty male Wistar rats were randomly divided into five groups(n=10)as follows:(a)sham operation(Sham),(b)myocardial ischemia(Model),(c)treatment that regulates Qi(Qi),(d)treatment that promotes blood circulation(Blood),(e)treatment that both regulates Qi and promotes blood circulation(QB).The rat model was established via activities restriction for 6 h followed by tail clamp stimulation for 5 mins every day for 7 d and occlusion left coronary anterior descending artery.Afterwards rats were treated with medicines that regulate Qi and/or promote blood circulation via gavage for 14 d.Behavioral parameters were evaluated using open field and elevated plus-maze tests.The tongue color and sublingual vein were visually examined.Blood flow perfusion of tongue and auricle were detected using PIMⅡ.The mesenteric microcirculation was examined via capillaroscopy,and hemodynamics was assessed using a polygraph system.Serum homocysteine(Hcy),creatine kinase isoenzyme(CKMB)levels and endothelin-1(ET-1)were measured.Hematoxylin and eosin staining and transmission electron microscopy were employed to detect the myocardial morphology and ultrastructure,respectively.RESULTS:Compared with findings in Sham group,rats in model group had coarse hair,dark mucosa of the lips and claw,low activity,and increased anxiety.Compared with findings in Model group,rats in the three treatment groups exhibited a lighter tongue color without an extended and varicose sublingual vein.There were significant increases of auricle blood flow perfusion in the Qi group and tongue bottom blood flow perfusion in the QB group.Compared with findings in Model rats,rats in Blood group exhibited improved mesenteric microcirculation associated with increased mesenteric blood flow and a larger arteriole diameter.Moreover,compared with findings in Model rats,Qi and QB rats exhibited increased left ventricular±dp/dtmax,decreased serum CKMB,Hcy,ET-1 levels,and reduced myocardial ultrastructural damage.CONCLUSION:Myocardial ischemia damage was suppressed by Traditional Chinese Medicines that regulate Qi and promote blood circulation.展开更多

This multicenter clinical study was designed toobserve the safety and efficacy of promoting hepatic growthfactor (PHGF) in the treatment of heavy type hepatitis andsevere chronic hepatitis.METHODS: 347 patients with heavy type hepatitis and 324with severe chronic hepatitis were subjected to administra-tion of 120 μg of PHGF per day for 4 weeks on the basis ofgeneral treatment. Those who were being effectively treat-ed would last additional 2 to 4 weeks. Blood routine, urineroutine, blood urea nitrogen (BUN), blood creatinine(Cr), blood ammonia, alpha fetoprotein (AFP), electro-lyte, alanine transaminase (ALT), aspartate transaminase(AST), serum total bilirubin (TBIL), serum direct biliru-bin (DBIL), prothrombin time activity (PTA), total pro-tein (TP) and albumin (ALB) were detected in the pa-tients before treatment, 2 weeks after treatment, and at theend of the treatment. Any side-effect would be recorded.RESULTS: In the patients with severe chronic hepatitis, thetotal effective rate of the treatment was 88. 9% The levelsof ALT, AST and TBIL decreased significantly (P<0.001),whereas those of PTA and ALB increased significantly (P <0.001), and the level of AFP increased slightly. In patientswith heavy type hepatitis, the total effective rate of thistreatment was 78.4%, and patients at different stage showeddifferent results. The total effective rates of patients withearly, medium and terminal stage heavy type hepatitis were89.9%, 84.8% and 27.5%, respectively. No severe side-effect was shown.CONCLUSION: PHGF is effective and safe in the treat-ment of patients with heavy type hepatitis and severe chro-nic hepatitis. But it should be administered early in patientswith heavy type hepatitis so as to get better curative effects.展开更多

In this study, however, an osteopenic phenotype was found in 9-week-old mice using osteoblastic specific Col1a1–2.3-Cre to ablate both Numb and its homologue Numbl. The trabecular bone mass decreased dramatically while the cortical bone mass was unaffected. Here, the Notch signal was not activated,while the tensin homologue deleted on human chromosome 10(PTEN), which dephosphorylates phosphatidylinositide 3-kinases, was elevated, attenuating protein kinase B(Akt). The ubiquitination assay revealed that NUMB may physiologically promote PTEN ubiquitination in the presence of neural precursor cell-expressed developmentally downregulated protein 4–1. In addition, the deficiency of Numb/Numbl also activated the Hedgehog pathway through GLI1. This process was found to improve the ratio of the receptor activator of nuclear factor-k B ligand to osteoprotegerin, which enhanced the differentiation of osteoclasts and bone resorption. In conclusion, this study provides an insight into new functons of NUMB and NUMBL on bone homeostasis.展开更多
The construction of highly active catalysts for methanol oxidation reaction(MOR)is central to direct methanol fuel cells.Tremendous progress has been made in transition metal phosphides(TMPs)based catalysts.However,TM...The construction of highly active catalysts for methanol oxidation reaction(MOR)is central to direct methanol fuel cells.Tremendous progress has been made in transition metal phosphides(TMPs)based catalysts.However,TMPs would be partially damaged and transformed into new substances(e.g.,Pt-M-P composite,where M represents a second transition metal)during Pt deposition process.This would pose a large obstacle to the cognition of the real promoting effects of TMPs in MOR.Herein,Co_(2)P co-catalysts(Pt-P/Co_(2)P@NPC,where NPC stands for N and P co-doped carbon)and Pt-Co-P composite catalysts(Pt-CoP/NPC)were controllably synthesized.Electrocatalysis tests show that the Pt-Co-P/NPC exhibits superior MOR activity as high as 1016 m A/mg_(Pt),significantly exceeding that of Pt-P/Co_(2)P@NPC(345 m A/mg_(Pt)).This result indicates that the promoting effect is ascribed primarily to the resultant Pt-Co-P composite,in sharply contrast to previous viewpoint that Co_(2)P itself improves the activity.Further mechanistic studies reveal that Pt-Co-P/NPC exhibits much stronger electron interaction and thus manifesting a remarkably weaker CO absorption than Pt-P/Co_(2)P@NPC and Pt/C.Moreover,Pt-Co-P is also more capable of producing oxygen-containing adsorbate and thus accelerating the removal of surface-bonded CO^(*),ultimately boosting the MOR performance.展开更多
This study investigated the molecular markers of DS-1-47,a component of an implantation-promoting traditional Chinese medicine consisting of Astragalus mongholicus,Atractylodes macrocephala,Scutellaria baicalensis and...This study investigated the molecular markers of DS-1-47,a component of an implantation-promoting traditional Chinese medicine consisting of Astragalus mongholicus,Atractylodes macrocephala,Scutellaria baicalensis and Dipsacales,in an attempt to clarify the molecular mechanism and action targets of DS-1-47.Controlled ovarian stimulation(COS) method was used to establish the implantation dysfunction models of mice.Animals were divided into normal pregnant group,COS model group and DS-1-47 group.Laser capture microdissection-double dimensional electrophoresis-mass spectrum(LCM-DE-MS) was used to analyze the uterine protein molecules that were possibly involved in the promotion of implantation.Twenty-three proteins in DS-1-47 group were significantly changed as compared to those in COS model group,with 7 proteins down-regulated and 16 proteins up-regulated.Except for some constituent proteins,the down-regulated proteins included collagen α-1(Ⅵ) chain,keratin 7,keratin 14,myosin regulatory light chain 12 B,myosin light polypeptide 9,heat shock protein β-7,and C-U-editing enzyme APOBEC-2;the up-regulated proteins included apolipoprotein A-I,calcium regulated protein-3,proliferating cell nuclear antigen,L-xylulose reductase,and calcium binding protein.These 23 proteins that were regulated by DS-1-47 represented a broad diversity of molecule functions.The down-regulated proteins were associated with stress and immune response,and those up-regulated proteins were related to proliferation.It was suggested that these proteins were important in regulating the uterine environment for the blastocyst implantation.By identification of DS-1-47 markers,proteomic analysis coupled with functional assays is demonstrated to be a promising approach to better understand the molecular mechanism of traditional Chinese medicine.展开更多

文摘Intracerebral hemorrhage(ICH) is a significant and growing threat to human health,with increasing incidence.Promoting blood circulation and removing blood stasis therapy(PBCRBS),a Traditional Chinese Medicine therapy,can be an adjuvant therapy to benefit patients with ICH by improving clinical efficacy.However,in theory,using PBCRBS to treat ICH carries the risk of hematoma enlargement and rebleeding,which has led to controversy over its application in ICH treatment.To demonstrate the effectiveness and safety of PBCRBS in treating ICH,this review first analyzes the pathological and physiological basis of ICH and secondly,the cascade of response after ICH and the involvement of cytokines and signaling pathways in this process.Finally,experimental and clinical studies on the treatment of ICH with PBCRBS over the past decade were retrieved from the Pub Med and China National Knowledge Infrastructure databases,and the content of these studies was used to summarize commonly used herbs with PBCRBS effects and their mechanisms of action.Through analysis,hypertension has been identified as the most common cause of ICH.Heme,interleukin,reactive oxygen species,coagulation promoting particles and other induced mass effects,inflammation,oxidative stress,and coagulation cascade reactions lead to brain damage following ICH.This review includes 56 experimental studies and 83 clinical studies summarizing 28 commonly used herbs,demonstrating the positive impact of PBCRBS as an adjuvant therapy for ICH.In summary,PBCRBS appears effective and safe for treating ICH.

文摘[Objectives]This study was conducted to explore the culture conditions for siderophore production and preliminarily investigate the growth-promoting effects of strains.[Methods]Endophytic bacteria secreting siderophores were isolated and screened from the roots of the plant Saposhnikovia divaricata(Trucz.)Schischk.The siderophore-producing capability was confirmed through qualitative detection and gene cluster analysis.[Results]The screened endophytic bacterium PB-2 belonged to the genus Paenibacillus sp.and could produce catechol-type or carboxylate-type siderophores.When cultured in MKB medium with 15 g/L glycerol as the carbon source and 6 g/L glycine as the nitrogen source for 3 d,the strain exhibited efficient siderophore secretion.Appropriate concentrations of Fe^(3+),Co^(2+),Cu^(2+)and Al^(3+)promoted siderophore production,with 15μmol/L Fe^(3+)being the most effective.Under the combined influences of siderophores,volatile compounds and other factors,strain PB-2 altered the root morphology of mulberry seedlings and increased their biomass.The primary root length decreased by 9.15%,while the number and length of root hairs increased by 37.93%and 16.37%,respectively,and the total biomass increased by 10.26%,all showing significant differences(P<0.05).Additionally,strain PB-2 enhanced the activities of defense-related enzymes in mulberry seedling leaves.The activities of superoxide dismutase(SOD)and peroxidase(POD)increased significantly(P<0.05)by 247.27%and 189.47%,respectively,compared with the control group.The activities of phenylalanine ammonialyase(PAL)and polyphenol oxidase(PPO)also showed varying degrees of increase.[Conclusions]This study provided a theoretical basis for rational utilization of endophytic growth-promoting strains secreting siderophores in the sustainable development of agriculture.

文摘Objective To observe the effects on the range of motion (ROM) of ankle joint and muscular spasm of the lower limbs treated with Chinese massage for promoting the Governor Vessel, benefiting the kidney and strengthening the spleen combined with music therapy in infantile cerebral palsy (CP). Methods In 286 cases of spasmodic CP, 7 kinds of Chinese massage were adopted, named massage on acupoints to promote circulation of the Governor Vessel, massage for strengthening the spleen and benefiting qi, spine-pinching therapy, segmental massage, foot massage, massage for promoting the recovery of muscle strength and massage for promoting ROM of joints. Chinese massage was applied in musical background. Buddha music and five-element music of Chinese medicine (music of the Heart, Liver and Kidney Meridians) were optioned. The treatment was given once or twice a day and 30 days made one course. The angles of femoral adductor and dorsal flexion of foot as well as the score of composite spasticity scale (CSS) were observed before and after treatment so that the therapeutic effect was assessed. Results In 30 days of treatment, 106 cases (37. 1%) were effective markedly, 172 cases (60. 1%) effective and 8 cases (2.8%) failed. The angle of dorsal flexion of foot was (105.64± 12.66)° and (76.58± 9.89)° before and after treatment respectively; the angle of femoral adductor was (119.89±25.47)° and (158.99± 18.66)° before and after treatment respectively; the score of CSS was (12.39±2.56) and (7. 069 ± 2.97) before and after treatment respectivel, there was significant difference before and after treatment (all P〈0.01). Conclusion Chinese massage for promoting the Governor Vessel, benefiting the kidney and strengthening the spleen combined with music therapy brings the extremely active effect into play on the recovery of sitting, kneeling, standing and walking for children with CP.

文摘Background Health promotion(HP)interventions delivered through sports clubs have demonstrated promising outcomes among men,but less is known about which aspects of the interventions work,for whom,and under what circumstances.This rapid realist review aimed to understand the contexts,mechanisms,and outcomes of HP interventions for men delivered through sports clubs.Methods A systematic literature search was conducted in February 2023 for studies published after 2013 in MEDLINE,Embase,and SPORTDiscus databases.Included studies:(a)were delivered by or in collaboration with sports clubs,(b)targeted men aged 18+years,and(c)reported 1 or more HP outcomes.A grey literature search was also performed.Studies were included in a realist synthesis based on richness and rigor.Hereafter,context-mechanism-outcome(CMO)configurations were developed.Results We identified and screened 3358 studies,finally including 59 studies describing 22 interventions.Most HP interventions were delivered in high income countries,included Caucasian men aged 35-65 years with overweight/obesity,and used professional sports clubs(mostly football)for recruitment and facilities.Quantitative HP outcomes were reported across 19 interventions.Of these 19 interventions,the majority reported on weight(n=18),physical activity(n=12),mental health(n=10),and diet(n=9).We identified 13 CMOs related to how HP interventions affected men's recruitment,engagement,and health behavior maintenance.Conclusion Our findings show that using sports clubs for HP interventions is effective for engaging men.Recruitment was facilitated by leveraging sports clubs’identity,addressing masculinity-related barriers,improving accessibility,and building trust.Engagement was enhanced through shared identity experiences,safe spaces,inclusive competition,and self-efficacy.However,there's limited evidence on behavior maintenance post-intervention,though involving community stakeholders seemed vital.In general,considerations should be made to avoid perpetuating traditional masculine norms,which may exclude some men and reinforce unhealthy behaviors.These findings can guide intervention development,emphasizing the need to harness men's perspectives in the process.

文摘Fe_2O_3 nanorods and hexagonal nanoplates were synthesized and used as the promoters for Pt electrocatalysts toward the methanol oxidation reaction(MOR) in an alkaline electrolyte.The catalysts were characterized by scanning electron microscopy,transmission electron microscopy,X-ray diffraction,X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy,cyclic voltammetry and chronoamperometry.The results show that the presence of Fe_2O_3 in the electrocatalysts can promote the kinetic processes of MOR on Pt,and this promoting effect is related to the morphology of the Fe_2O_3 promoter.The catalyst with Fe_2O_3 nanorods as the promoter(Pt-Fe_2O_3/C-R) exhibits much higher catalytic activity and stability than that with Fe_2O_3 nanoplates as the promoter(Pt-Fe_2O_3/C-P).The mass activity and specific activity of Pt in a Pt-Fe_2O_3/C-R catalyst are 5.32 A/mgpt and 162.7 A/m^2_(Pt),respectively,which are approximately 1.67 and 2.04 times those of the Pt-Fe_2O_3/C-P catalyst,and 4.19 and 6.16 times those of a commercial PtRu/C catalyst,respectively.Synergistic effects between Fe_2O_3 and Pt and the high content of Pt oxides in the catalysts are responsible for the improvement.These findings contribute not only to our understanding of the MOR mechanism but also to the development of advanced electrocatalysts with high catalytic properties for direct methanol fuel cells.
文摘The inherent teaching approach can no longer meet the demands of society.In this paper,current issues within the teaching landscape of architectural engineering technology in higher vocational colleges as well as the policies and teaching demands that formed the basis of this model were analyzed.The study shows the importance of the implementation of the teaching model“promoting teaching and learning through competitions.”This model puts emphasis on the curriculum and teaching resources,while also integrating the teaching process and evaluation with competition.These efforts aim to drive education reform in order to better align with the objectives of vocational education personnel training,while also acting as a reference for similar courses.

文摘Aiming at searching for plant growth promoting rhizobacteria (PGPR), a bacterium strain coded as 7016 was isolated from soybean rhizosphere and was characterized in the present study. It was identiifed as Burkholderia sp. based on 16S rDNA sequence analysis, as wel as phenotypic and biochemical characterizations. This bacterium presented nitrogenase activity, 1-aminocyclopropane-1-carboxylic acid (ACC) deaminase activity and phosphate solubilizing ability;inhibited the growth of Sclerotinia sclerotiorum, Gibberel a zeae and Verticil ium dahliae;and produced smal quantities of indole acetic acid (IAA). In green house experiments, signiifcant increases in shoot height and weight, root length and weight, and stem diameter were observed on tomato plants in 30 d after inoculation with strain 7016. Result of 16S rDNA PCR-DGGE showed that 7016 survived in the rhizosphere of tomato seedlings. In the ifeld experiments, Burkholderia sp. 7016 enhanced the tomato yield and signiifcantly promoted activities of soil urease, phosphatase, sucrase, and catalase. Al these results demonstrated Burkholderia sp. 7016 as a valuable PGPR and a candidate of biofertilizer.
文摘The effect of super absorbent polymer(SAP) on the formation of tetrahydrofuran(THF) hydrate was studied by the successional cooling method.It was found that THF solution samples with 0.004 wt% and 0.03 wt% of SAP formed THF hydrate completely during the same cooling process.The corresponding induction time was 16-29 min,14-31 min,respectively,which was obviously shorter than that of THF solution samples without SAP(25-62 min).It indicated that SAP accelerated the formation of THF hydrate.At the same time,the pictures of hydrate formation with and without SAP had been compared.It was found that SAP did not change the morphology of the hydrate.Finally,the mechanism of SAP promoting effect on the formation of THF hydrate was suggested.

文摘Ferula spp. are traditional medicinal plants found in arid land. Large-scale excavation for extracting bioactive compounds from the plants in arid regions of Xinjiang over the last few years has, however, significandy decreased their distributions. Due to the urgent need for preservation of these plant resources, along with the need of searching for alternative source of the useful metabolites, it is important to screen the endophytic microbial resources associated with the plant Ferula sinkiangensis K. M. Shen. In the study, a total of 125 endophytic bacteria belonging to 3 phyla, 13 orders, 23 families, and 29 genera were isolated based on 16S rRNA gene sequencing data. Among the different isolates, three strains isolated from roots were potential novel species of the genera Porphyrobacter, Paracoccus and draycofatopsis. In this study, 79.4% and 57.1% of the total isolates were capable of producing indole-3-acetic acid (IAA) and siderophore, respectively. And, 40.6% of the strains inhibit the growth of fungal pathogen Afternaria alternata, 17.2% and 20.2% strains were positive for antagonism against Vertidllium dahlia 991 and V. dahlia 7, respectively. These results demonstrated that E sinkiangensis is a rich reservoir of endophytic bacterial resources with potential for production of biologically important functions such as plant growth-promoting factors.

Transmembrane NRG1 acts as a promyelinating factor, while the soluble isoform inhibits myelination. In this perspective, we would like to emphasize this conflicting role played by NRG1 isofbrms regarding their roles in myelination, remyelination and the entire process of peripheral nerve regeneration.

文摘OBJECTIVE:To investigate the efficacy of Chinese medicines on Qi stagnation and blood stasis in rats with myocardial ischemia.METHODS:Fifty male Wistar rats were randomly divided into five groups(n=10)as follows:(a)sham operation(Sham),(b)myocardial ischemia(Model),(c)treatment that regulates Qi(Qi),(d)treatment that promotes blood circulation(Blood),(e)treatment that both regulates Qi and promotes blood circulation(QB).The rat model was established via activities restriction for 6 h followed by tail clamp stimulation for 5 mins every day for 7 d and occlusion left coronary anterior descending artery.Afterwards rats were treated with medicines that regulate Qi and/or promote blood circulation via gavage for 14 d.Behavioral parameters were evaluated using open field and elevated plus-maze tests.The tongue color and sublingual vein were visually examined.Blood flow perfusion of tongue and auricle were detected using PIMⅡ.The mesenteric microcirculation was examined via capillaroscopy,and hemodynamics was assessed using a polygraph system.Serum homocysteine(Hcy),creatine kinase isoenzyme(CKMB)levels and endothelin-1(ET-1)were measured.Hematoxylin and eosin staining and transmission electron microscopy were employed to detect the myocardial morphology and ultrastructure,respectively.RESULTS:Compared with findings in Sham group,rats in model group had coarse hair,dark mucosa of the lips and claw,low activity,and increased anxiety.Compared with findings in Model group,rats in the three treatment groups exhibited a lighter tongue color without an extended and varicose sublingual vein.There were significant increases of auricle blood flow perfusion in the Qi group and tongue bottom blood flow perfusion in the QB group.Compared with findings in Model rats,rats in Blood group exhibited improved mesenteric microcirculation associated with increased mesenteric blood flow and a larger arteriole diameter.Moreover,compared with findings in Model rats,Qi and QB rats exhibited increased left ventricular±dp/dtmax,decreased serum CKMB,Hcy,ET-1 levels,and reduced myocardial ultrastructural damage.CONCLUSION:Myocardial ischemia damage was suppressed by Traditional Chinese Medicines that regulate Qi and promote blood circulation.
文摘BACKGROUND: The mortality rate of heavy type hepatitisis high. No special treatment is available except generaltreatment. This multicenter clinical study was designed toobserve the safety and efficacy of promoting hepatic growthfactor (PHGF) in the treatment of heavy type hepatitis andsevere chronic hepatitis.METHODS: 347 patients with heavy type hepatitis and 324with severe chronic hepatitis were subjected to administra-tion of 120 μg of PHGF per day for 4 weeks on the basis ofgeneral treatment. Those who were being effectively treat-ed would last additional 2 to 4 weeks. Blood routine, urineroutine, blood urea nitrogen (BUN), blood creatinine(Cr), blood ammonia, alpha fetoprotein (AFP), electro-lyte, alanine transaminase (ALT), aspartate transaminase(AST), serum total bilirubin (TBIL), serum direct biliru-bin (DBIL), prothrombin time activity (PTA), total pro-tein (TP) and albumin (ALB) were detected in the pa-tients before treatment, 2 weeks after treatment, and at theend of the treatment. Any side-effect would be recorded.RESULTS: In the patients with severe chronic hepatitis, thetotal effective rate of the treatment was 88. 9% The levelsof ALT, AST and TBIL decreased significantly (P<0.001),whereas those of PTA and ALB increased significantly (P <0.001), and the level of AFP increased slightly. In patientswith heavy type hepatitis, the total effective rate of thistreatment was 78.4%, and patients at different stage showeddifferent results. The total effective rates of patients withearly, medium and terminal stage heavy type hepatitis were89.9%, 84.8% and 27.5%, respectively. No severe side-effect was shown.CONCLUSION: PHGF is effective and safe in the treat-ment of patients with heavy type hepatitis and severe chro-nic hepatitis. But it should be administered early in patientswith heavy type hepatitis so as to get better curative effects.

文摘The seeds and sprouts of mung bean are very common cruise in Asia.Evidence showed that bioactive compounds in mung bean have emerged as an increasing scientific interest due to their role in the prevention of degenerative diseases.All data of in vitro,in vivo and clinical studies of mung bean and its impact on human health were collected from a library database and electronic search.Botanical,phytochemical and pharmacological information was gathered and orchestrated.Remarkable studies have been demonstrated,showing the enhancement of metabolites in mung bean during the sprouting process,which possesses various health benefiting bioactive compounds.These compounds have been frequently attributed to their antioxidant,anti-diabetic,antimicrobial,anti-hyperlipidemic and antihypertensive effect,anti-inflammatory,and anticancer,anti-tumor and anti-mutagenic properties.In this critical review,we aimed to study the insight of the nutritional compositions,phytochemistry,and healthpromoting effects of mung bean and its sprouts.The various curative potential of mung bean provides successive preclinical outcomes in the field of drug discovery and this review strongly recommends that mung bean is an excellent nutritive legume,which modulates or prevents chronic degenerative diseases.

文摘The adaptor protein NUMB is involved in asymmetric division and cell fate determination and recognized as an antagonist of Notch.Previous studies have proved that Notch activation in osteoblasts contributes to a high bone mass. In this study, however, an osteopenic phenotype was found in 9-week-old mice using osteoblastic specific Col1a1–2.3-Cre to ablate both Numb and its homologue Numbl. The trabecular bone mass decreased dramatically while the cortical bone mass was unaffected. Here, the Notch signal was not activated,while the tensin homologue deleted on human chromosome 10(PTEN), which dephosphorylates phosphatidylinositide 3-kinases, was elevated, attenuating protein kinase B(Akt). The ubiquitination assay revealed that NUMB may physiologically promote PTEN ubiquitination in the presence of neural precursor cell-expressed developmentally downregulated protein 4–1. In addition, the deficiency of Numb/Numbl also activated the Hedgehog pathway through GLI1. This process was found to improve the ratio of the receptor activator of nuclear factor-k B ligand to osteoprotegerin, which enhanced the differentiation of osteoclasts and bone resorption. In conclusion, this study provides an insight into new functons of NUMB and NUMBL on bone homeostasis.

文摘The construction of highly active catalysts for methanol oxidation reaction(MOR)is central to direct methanol fuel cells.Tremendous progress has been made in transition metal phosphides(TMPs)based catalysts.However,TMPs would be partially damaged and transformed into new substances(e.g.,Pt-M-P composite,where M represents a second transition metal)during Pt deposition process.This would pose a large obstacle to the cognition of the real promoting effects of TMPs in MOR.Herein,Co_(2)P co-catalysts(Pt-P/Co_(2)P@NPC,where NPC stands for N and P co-doped carbon)and Pt-Co-P composite catalysts(Pt-CoP/NPC)were controllably synthesized.Electrocatalysis tests show that the Pt-Co-P/NPC exhibits superior MOR activity as high as 1016 m A/mg_(Pt),significantly exceeding that of Pt-P/Co_(2)P@NPC(345 m A/mg_(Pt)).This result indicates that the promoting effect is ascribed primarily to the resultant Pt-Co-P composite,in sharply contrast to previous viewpoint that Co_(2)P itself improves the activity.Further mechanistic studies reveal that Pt-Co-P/NPC exhibits much stronger electron interaction and thus manifesting a remarkably weaker CO absorption than Pt-P/Co_(2)P@NPC and Pt/C.Moreover,Pt-Co-P is also more capable of producing oxygen-containing adsorbate and thus accelerating the removal of surface-bonded CO^(*),ultimately boosting the MOR performance.

文摘This study investigated the molecular markers of DS-1-47,a component of an implantation-promoting traditional Chinese medicine consisting of Astragalus mongholicus,Atractylodes macrocephala,Scutellaria baicalensis and Dipsacales,in an attempt to clarify the molecular mechanism and action targets of DS-1-47.Controlled ovarian stimulation(COS) method was used to establish the implantation dysfunction models of mice.Animals were divided into normal pregnant group,COS model group and DS-1-47 group.Laser capture microdissection-double dimensional electrophoresis-mass spectrum(LCM-DE-MS) was used to analyze the uterine protein molecules that were possibly involved in the promotion of implantation.Twenty-three proteins in DS-1-47 group were significantly changed as compared to those in COS model group,with 7 proteins down-regulated and 16 proteins up-regulated.Except for some constituent proteins,the down-regulated proteins included collagen α-1(Ⅵ) chain,keratin 7,keratin 14,myosin regulatory light chain 12 B,myosin light polypeptide 9,heat shock protein β-7,and C-U-editing enzyme APOBEC-2;the up-regulated proteins included apolipoprotein A-I,calcium regulated protein-3,proliferating cell nuclear antigen,L-xylulose reductase,and calcium binding protein.These 23 proteins that were regulated by DS-1-47 represented a broad diversity of molecule functions.The down-regulated proteins were associated with stress and immune response,and those up-regulated proteins were related to proliferation.It was suggested that these proteins were important in regulating the uterine environment for the blastocyst implantation.By identification of DS-1-47 markers,proteomic analysis coupled with functional assays is demonstrated to be a promising approach to better understand the molecular mechanism of traditional Chinese medicine.
