Previous bidirectional quantum private comparison(BQPC)protocols cannot meet the requirements in some special application scenarios,where only one party needs to obtain the comparison results without a third party(TP)...Previous bidirectional quantum private comparison(BQPC)protocols cannot meet the requirements in some special application scenarios,where only one party needs to obtain the comparison results without a third party(TP),such as scenarios for authority surveys or healthcare data sharing.In addition to this,the BQPC protocol has the potential of information leakage in multiple comparisons.Therefore,we design a new unidirectional quantum private comparison(UQPC)protocol based on quantum private query(QPQ)protocols with ideal database security and zero failure probability(IDS-ZF),for the reason that they have excellent unidirectionality and security.Concretely,we design a UQPC protocol based on Wei et al.’s work[IEEE Transactions on Computers 672(2017)]and it includes an authentication process to increase the resistance to outside attacks.Moreover,we generalize the protocol and propose a general model that can transform a QPQ protocol with or without the IDS-ZF property into a secure UQPC protocol.Finally,our study shows that protocols using our model are secure,practical,and have the IDS-ZF property.展开更多

Currently,all quantum private comparison protocols based on two-dimensional quantum states can only compare equality,via using high-dimensional quantum states that it is possible to compare the size relation in existi...Currently,all quantum private comparison protocols based on two-dimensional quantum states can only compare equality,via using high-dimensional quantum states that it is possible to compare the size relation in existing work.In addition,it is difficult to manipulate high-dimensional quantum states under the existing conditions of quantum information processing,leading to low practicality and engineering feasibility of protocols for comparing size relation.Considering this situation,we propose an innovative protocol.The proposed protocol can make size comparison by exploiting more manageable two-dimensional Bell states,which significantly enhances its feasibility with current quantum technologies.Simultaneously,the proposed protocol enables multiple participants to compare their privacies with the semi-quantum model.The communication process of the protocol is simulated on the IBM Quantum Experience platform to verify its effectiveness.Security analysis shows that the proposed protocol can withstand common attacks while preserving the privacies of all participants.Thus,the devised protocol may provide an important reference for implementation of quantum private size comparison protocols.展开更多
A model of continuous-time insider trading in which a risk-neutral in-sider possesses two imperfect correlated signals of a risky asset is studied.By conditional expectation theory and filtering theory,we first establ...A model of continuous-time insider trading in which a risk-neutral in-sider possesses two imperfect correlated signals of a risky asset is studied.By conditional expectation theory and filtering theory,we first establish three lemmas:normal corre-lation,equivalent pricing and equivalent profit,which can guarantee to turn our model into a model with insider knowing full information.Then we investigate the impact of the two correlated signals on the market equilibrium consisting of optimal insider trading strategy and semi-strong pricing rule.It shows that in the equilibrium,(1)the market depth is constant over time;(2)if the two noisy signals are not linerly correlated,then all private information of the insider is incorporated into prices in the end while the whole information on the asset value can not incorporated into prices in the end;(3)if the two noisy signals are linear correlated such that the insider can infer the whole information of the asset value,then our model turns into a model with insider knowing full information;(4)if the two noisy signals are the same then the total ex ant profit of the insider is increasing with the noise decreasing,while down to O as the noise going up to infinity;(5)if the two noisy signals are not linear correlated then with one noisy signal fixed,the total ex ante profit of the insider is single-peaked with a unique minimum with respect to the other noisy signal value,and furthermore as the noisy value going to O it gets its maximum,the profit in the case that the real value is observed.展开更多

The overview of the effect of quality improvement initiatives in this paper focuses on private healthcare providers in Lagos State, Nigeria. The study assesses the impact of donor-funded quality improvement projects on these private healthcare facilities. It explores the level of participation, perceived support, and tangible effects of the initiatives on healthcare delivery within private healthcare facilities. It also examines how these initiatives influence patient inflow and facility ratings, and bring about additional benefits and improvements, provides insights into the challenges faced by private healthcare providers in implementing quality improvement projects and elicits recommendations for improving the effectiveness of such initiatives. Methods: Qualitative research design was employed for in-depth exploration, utilizing semi-structured interviews. Private healthcare providers in Lagos involved in the SP4FP Quality Improvement Project were purposively sampled for diversity. Face-to-face interviews elicited insights into participation, perceived support, and project effects. Questions covered participation levels, support perception, changes observed, challenges faced, and recommendations. Thematic analysis identified recurring themes from interview transcripts. Adherence to ethical guidelines ensured participant confidentiality and informed consent. Results: Respondents affirmed active involvement in the SP4FP Quality Improvement Project, echoing literature emphasizing private-sector collaboration with the public sector. While acknowledging positive influences on facility ratings, respondents highlighted challenges within the broader Nigerian healthcare landscape affecting patient numbers. Respondents cited tangible improvements, particularly in staff management and patient care processes, validating the positive influence of quality improvement projects. Financial constraints emerged as a significant challenge, aligning with existing literature emphasizing the pragmatic difficulties faced by private healthcare providers. Conclusions: This study illuminates the complex landscape of private healthcare provision in Lagos State, emphasizing the positive impact of donor-funded quality improvement projects. The findings provide nuanced insights, guiding policymakers, healthcare managers, and practitioners toward collaborative, sustainable improvements. Considering the privacy challenges of secure storage and controlled flow,there is an urgent need to realize a decentralized ecosystem of private blockchain for cyberspace.A collaboration dilemma arises when the partic...Considering the privacy challenges of secure storage and controlled flow,there is an urgent need to realize a decentralized ecosystem of private blockchain for cyberspace.A collaboration dilemma arises when the participants are self-interested and lack feedback of complete information.Traditional blockchains have similar faults,such as trustlessness,single-factor consensus,and heavily distributed ledger,preventing them from adapting to the heterogeneous and resource-constrained Internet of Things.In this paper,we develop the game-theoretic design of a two-sided rating with complete information feedback to stimulate collaborations for private blockchain.The design consists of an evolution strategy of the decision-making network and a computing power network for continuously verifiable proofs.We formulate the optimum rating and resource scheduling problems as two-stage iterative games between participants and leaders.We theoretically prove that the Stackelberg equilibrium exists and the group evolution is stable.Then,we propose a multi-stage evolution consensus with feedback on a block-accounting workload for metadata survival.To continuously validate a block,the metadata of the optimum rating,privacy,and proofs are extracted to store on a lightweight blockchain.Moreover,to increase resource utilization,surplus computing power is scheduled flexibly to enhance security by degrees.Finally,the evaluation results show the validity and efficiency of our model,thereby solving the collaboration dilemma in the private blockchain.展开更多
This paper investigates the design essence of Chinese classical private gardens,integrating their design elements and fundamental principles.It systematically analyzes the unique characteristics and differences among ...This paper investigates the design essence of Chinese classical private gardens,integrating their design elements and fundamental principles.It systematically analyzes the unique characteristics and differences among classical private gardens in the Northern,Jiangnan,and Lingnan regions.The study examines nine classical private gardens from Northern China,Jiangnan,and Lingnan by utilizing the advanced tool of principal component cluster analysis.Based on literature analysis and field research,273 variables were selected for principal component analysis,from which four components with higher contribution rates were chosen for further study.Subsequently,we employed clustering analysis techniques to compare the differences among the three types of gardens.The results reveal that the first principal component effectively highlights the differences between Jiangnan and Lingnan private gardens.The second principal component serves as the key to defining the types of Northern private gardens and distinguishing them from the other two types,and the third principal component indicates that Lingnan private gardens can be categorized into two distinct types as well.展开更多

文摘Objective:This study investigates the geographical distribution of private hospitals in Australian capital cities in relation to the Index of Relative Socioeconomic Disadvantage.Methods:Using Geographic Information System analysis,the study examined how private hospitals are distributed across different socioeconomic quartiles,providing a comprehensive visualisation of health care accessibility.Results:The results indicate an unequal distribution with a substantial concentration of private hospitals within the vicinity of communities classified in the highest socioeconomic classification.This raises significant concerns about health care equity,particularly in light of the increased strain on health care systems before,during and after the COVID‐19 pandemic.Conclusions:This study underscores the need for targeted policy interventions to enhance the resilience and accessibility of the private health care sector,specifically targeting disadvantaged communities.It suggests that comprehensive,geographically‐informed data is crucial for policymakers to make informed decisions that promote health equity in the postpandemic landscape.

文摘Currently,all quantum private comparison protocols based on two-dimensional quantum states can only compare equality,via using high-dimensional quantum states that it is possible to compare the size relation in existing work.In addition,it is difficult to manipulate high-dimensional quantum states under the existing conditions of quantum information processing,leading to low practicality and engineering feasibility of protocols for comparing size relation.Considering this situation,we propose an innovative protocol.The proposed protocol can make size comparison by exploiting more manageable two-dimensional Bell states,which significantly enhances its feasibility with current quantum technologies.Simultaneously,the proposed protocol enables multiple participants to compare their privacies with the semi-quantum model.The communication process of the protocol is simulated on the IBM Quantum Experience platform to verify its effectiveness.Security analysis shows that the proposed protocol can withstand common attacks while preserving the privacies of all participants.Thus,the devised protocol may provide an important reference for implementation of quantum private size comparison protocols.
文摘A model of continuous-time insider trading in which a risk-neutral in-sider possesses two imperfect correlated signals of a risky asset is studied.By conditional expectation theory and filtering theory,we first establish three lemmas:normal corre-lation,equivalent pricing and equivalent profit,which can guarantee to turn our model into a model with insider knowing full information.Then we investigate the impact of the two correlated signals on the market equilibrium consisting of optimal insider trading strategy and semi-strong pricing rule.It shows that in the equilibrium,(1)the market depth is constant over time;(2)if the two noisy signals are not linerly correlated,then all private information of the insider is incorporated into prices in the end while the whole information on the asset value can not incorporated into prices in the end;(3)if the two noisy signals are linear correlated such that the insider can infer the whole information of the asset value,then our model turns into a model with insider knowing full information;(4)if the two noisy signals are the same then the total ex ant profit of the insider is increasing with the noise decreasing,while down to O as the noise going up to infinity;(5)if the two noisy signals are not linear correlated then with one noisy signal fixed,the total ex ante profit of the insider is single-peaked with a unique minimum with respect to the other noisy signal value,and furthermore as the noisy value going to O it gets its maximum,the profit in the case that the real value is observed.

文摘To address the charging infrastructure challenges associated with slow electric vehicle(EV)industry growth,this study investigates the collaboration between private charging-pile-sharing platforms struggling with profitability and automotive companies.This collaboration is crucial,as it demands a balanced price and service quality management due to consumer expectations.This paper introduces a Stackelberg game model to explore the relationship between a charging platform and an automotive company.Through numerical analysis,we assess how this cooperation might improve the platform’s efficiency and benefit society,potentially overcoming existing industry hurdles.Our findings indicate that such partnerships could benefit all parties involved,despite possible negative environmental impacts.However,after collaborat-ing,platforms may increase consumer prices and payments to suppliers,potentially lowering service quality for brand-associated consumers due to a compromise between shorter waiting times and service quality.This research offers valu-able insights for stakeholders on the effects of cooperation,enabling better strategic decisions in the EV charging sector.
文摘Background: Nigeria, a nation grappling with rapid population growth, economic intricacies, and complex healthcare challenges, particularly in Lagos State, the economic hub and most populous state, faces the challenge of ensuring quality healthcare access. The overview of the effect of quality improvement initiatives in this paper focuses on private healthcare providers in Lagos State, Nigeria. The study assesses the impact of donor-funded quality improvement projects on these private healthcare facilities. It explores the level of participation, perceived support, and tangible effects of the initiatives on healthcare delivery within private healthcare facilities. It also examines how these initiatives influence patient inflow and facility ratings, and bring about additional benefits and improvements, provides insights into the challenges faced by private healthcare providers in implementing quality improvement projects and elicits recommendations for improving the effectiveness of such initiatives. Methods: Qualitative research design was employed for in-depth exploration, utilizing semi-structured interviews. Private healthcare providers in Lagos involved in the SP4FP Quality Improvement Project were purposively sampled for diversity. Face-to-face interviews elicited insights into participation, perceived support, and project effects. Questions covered participation levels, support perception, changes observed, challenges faced, and recommendations. Thematic analysis identified recurring themes from interview transcripts. Adherence to ethical guidelines ensured participant confidentiality and informed consent. Results: Respondents affirmed active involvement in the SP4FP Quality Improvement Project, echoing literature emphasizing private-sector collaboration with the public sector. While acknowledging positive influences on facility ratings, respondents highlighted challenges within the broader Nigerian healthcare landscape affecting patient numbers. Respondents cited tangible improvements, particularly in staff management and patient care processes, validating the positive influence of quality improvement projects. Financial constraints emerged as a significant challenge, aligning with existing literature emphasizing the pragmatic difficulties faced by private healthcare providers. Conclusions: This study illuminates the complex landscape of private healthcare provision in Lagos State, emphasizing the positive impact of donor-funded quality improvement projects. The findings provide nuanced insights, guiding policymakers, healthcare managers, and practitioners toward collaborative, sustainable improvements. As Nigeria progresses, these lessons will be crucial in shaping healthcare policies prioritizing population well-being.

文摘Considering the privacy challenges of secure storage and controlled flow,there is an urgent need to realize a decentralized ecosystem of private blockchain for cyberspace.A collaboration dilemma arises when the participants are self-interested and lack feedback of complete information.Traditional blockchains have similar faults,such as trustlessness,single-factor consensus,and heavily distributed ledger,preventing them from adapting to the heterogeneous and resource-constrained Internet of Things.In this paper,we develop the game-theoretic design of a two-sided rating with complete information feedback to stimulate collaborations for private blockchain.The design consists of an evolution strategy of the decision-making network and a computing power network for continuously verifiable proofs.We formulate the optimum rating and resource scheduling problems as two-stage iterative games between participants and leaders.We theoretically prove that the Stackelberg equilibrium exists and the group evolution is stable.Then,we propose a multi-stage evolution consensus with feedback on a block-accounting workload for metadata survival.To continuously validate a block,the metadata of the optimum rating,privacy,and proofs are extracted to store on a lightweight blockchain.Moreover,to increase resource utilization,surplus computing power is scheduled flexibly to enhance security by degrees.Finally,the evaluation results show the validity and efficiency of our model,thereby solving the collaboration dilemma in the private blockchain.
文摘This paper investigates the design essence of Chinese classical private gardens,integrating their design elements and fundamental principles.It systematically analyzes the unique characteristics and differences among classical private gardens in the Northern,Jiangnan,and Lingnan regions.The study examines nine classical private gardens from Northern China,Jiangnan,and Lingnan by utilizing the advanced tool of principal component cluster analysis.Based on literature analysis and field research,273 variables were selected for principal component analysis,from which four components with higher contribution rates were chosen for further study.Subsequently,we employed clustering analysis techniques to compare the differences among the three types of gardens.The results reveal that the first principal component effectively highlights the differences between Jiangnan and Lingnan private gardens.The second principal component serves as the key to defining the types of Northern private gardens and distinguishing them from the other two types,and the third principal component indicates that Lingnan private gardens can be categorized into two distinct types as well.
