Quaternary activity along the seismically active but poorly understood Sabzpushan fault zone (SFZ) has been investigated. The SFZ consists of two dextral strike-slip faults, the Zafarabad and Kafari faults. Geomorphic indices including mountain front sinuosity, valley asymmetry factor, hypsometric integral, valley floor width to valley height ratio and stream length gradient index were used to assess the effects of active reverse faults which control the topographic relief and Quaternary activity. Geomorphometric and field evidence reveal that the Quaternary activity and topographic relief of the study area are controlled by two reverse faults, the North and South Sabzpushan reverse faults, which have formed a pop-up structure in the contractional step-over area between the Zafarabad and Kafari dextral strikeslip faults as a consequence of oblique convergence between the Afro-Arabian and Iranian plates accommodated by the North and South Sabzpushan thrust faults.展开更多
With the development of the internet,online pop-up advertisements(hereinafter,referred to as pop-up ads)have emerged.However,online users may disdain and reject online advertisements,which affects online purchase inte...With the development of the internet,online pop-up advertisements(hereinafter,referred to as pop-up ads)have emerged.However,online users may disdain and reject online advertisements,which affects online purchase intention.This study is on reducing the negative impact of pop-up ads on users and improving the commercial effect.Self-administered questionnaires were used to survey online users and website designers.The data collected were analyzed using SPSS and the open answers were sorted out by thematic analysis.The results revealed that attractive storylines,background music,and exquisite visual presentations are effective in reducing users5 rejection to pop-up ads as well as advertisement customization.It is better for pop-up ads to appear in the middle or end of videos.The VIP system is also a choice for users to eliminate them.Designers are supposed to keep a balance between users and advertisers.In addition,internet regulation needs to be strengthened to reduce eroticism and violence in pop-up ads as well as avoid the negative impact of these kind of pop-up ads on minors.展开更多
This study investigates the hydrodynamic process of a cylinder ejected from the water’s surface through high-speed camera experiments.Using digital image processing methods,the images obtained through experiments are...This study investigates the hydrodynamic process of a cylinder ejected from the water’s surface through high-speed camera experiments.Using digital image processing methods,the images obtained through experiments are processed and analyzed.Although the dynamics of rising buoyant cylinders have been thoroughly investigated,the pop-up height of the cylinders has not been extensively explored.Statistical analysis of the kinematic and dynamic data of cylinders is conducted.Research has shown that after the cylinder rises,it pops out of the water’s surface.Within the experimental range,the pop-up height of the cylinder is related to the release depth.Furthermore,the pop-up height and release depth of the cylinder vary linearly under vertical release conditions.Under horizontal release conditions,the relationship between pop-up height and release depth shows irregular changes mainly because of the unstable shedding of the wake vortex.展开更多
