In particular, burst interference may occur only on data symbols but not on pilot symbols, which means that interference information cannot be premeasured. To cancel the burst interference, we first revisit the uplink multi-user system and develop a matrixform system model, where the covariance pattern and the low-rank property of the interference matrix is discussed. Then, we propose a turbo message passing based burst interference cancellation(TMP-BIC) algorithm to solve the data detection problem, where the constellation information of target data is fully exploited to refine its estimate. Furthermore, in the TMP-BIC algorithm, we design one module to cope with the interference matrix by exploiting its lowrank property. Numerical results demonstrate that the proposed algorithm can effectively mitigate the adverse effects of burst interference and approach the interference-free bound.展开更多

Three field experiments were conducted during different times through the year, in normal, freezing and thawing periods, respectively, and the influence of the season, train speed and train type, is described in this paper. The results show that: (1) the vertical component is the greatest among the three components of the measured vibration near the rail track, and as the distance to the railway track increases, the dominant vibration depends on the season. (2) Compared with the vibration in the normal period, the vertical and longitudinal vibrations increase while the lateral vibration decreases in the freezing period. However, in the thawing period, the vertical and longitudinal vibrations decrease, and the lateral vibration increases. (3) As train speeds increase, the subgrade vibration increases. (4) The vibration induced by a freight train is greater than by a passenger train. These observations provide a better understanding of the vibration and dynamic stability of the subgrade and may be useful in developing criteria for railway and building construction in cold regions.展开更多

An NURBS surface is used to precisely represent the hull geometry. Velocity potential on the hull surface is described by B-spline after the source density distribution on the boundary surface is determined. A collocation approach is applied to the boundary integral equation discretization. Under the assumption of low passing speed, the effect of free surface elevation is neglected in the numerical calculation, and infinite image method is used to deal with the finite water depth effect. The time stepping method is used to solve the velocity potential at each time step. Detailed convergence study with respect to time step, panel size and Green function is undertaken. However, the quality of images may be unsatisfied. This paper considers the problem of recovering sparse signals by exploiting their unknown sparsity pattern. To model structured sparsity, the prior correlation of the support is encoded by imposing a transformed Gaussian process on the spike and slab probabilities. Then, an efficient approximate message-passing algorithm with structured spike and slab prior is derived for posterior inference, which, combined with a fast direct method, reduces the computational complexity significantly. Further, a unified scheme is developed to learn the hyperparameters using expectation maximization(EM) and Bethe free energy optimization. Firstly, a train aerodynamic model and a vehicle dynamic model are established. Through the simulation of the two models, the pressure waves, aerodynamic forces, and vehicle dynamic responses are obtained. Then, the pressure waves and aero- dynamic forces on different foundations are compared. The results show that the variation trends of pressure wave and aerodynamic forces of trains passing each other on different foundations are almost similar. The peak-to-peak differ- ences in pressure wave and aerodynamic force are below 4% and 3% in three cases in open air. If the passing process of an automobile is divided into many time segments, so as to avoid the use of moving mesh which takes large calculation resource and CPU processing time in calculating, the segments are simulated with computational fluid dynamics (CFD) method, then the approximate computational results about external flow field will be obtained. On the basis of the idea, the change of external flow field of wagon-shaped car at the moment of passing is simulated through solving three-dimensional, steady and uncompressible N-S equations with finite volume method. Numerical simulation analysis of side force coefficient, stream lines, body surface pressure distribution of wagon-shaped car are presented and a preliminary discussion of aerodynamic characteristics of correlative situations is obtained. Its basic principle is that several waiting vehicles after the stop line of the considered intersection should simultaneously start in green periods. Thus, more vehicles can pass the intersection in a green period. Then, the having passed vehicles should follow the planned trajectories to enlarge their longitudinal clearances. Phase timing is not considered in the compact passing algorithm, and therefore, the proposed compact passing algorithm can be combined with other algorithms on phase timing to further improve their performances. Several simulations were designed and performed to verify the performance of the proposed algorithm. The simulation results show that the proposed algorithm can increase the number of completed vehicles and decrease the travel time in the signalized intersections managed by fixed-time and vehicle actuated algorithms, which indicates that the proposed algorithm is effective for improving the traffic efficiency at common signalized intersections.展开更多

文摘To improve the traffic efficiency at signalized intersections, a compact passing algorithm is proposed based on a vehicular network. The simulation results show that the proposed algorithm can increase the number of completed vehicles and decrease the travel time in the signalized intersections managed by fixed-time and vehicle actuated algorithms, which indicates that the proposed algorithm is effective for improving the traffic efficiency at common signalized intersections.

文摘Message passing algorithms, whose iterative nature captures complicated interactions among interconnected variables in complex systems and extracts information from the fixed point of iterated messages, provide a powerful toolkit in tackling hard computational tasks in optimization, inference, and learning problems. In the context of constraint satisfaction problems(CSPs),when a control parameter(such as constraint density)is tuned, multiple threshold phenomena emerge, signaling fundamental structural transitions in their solution space.Finding solutions around these transition points is exceedingly challenging for algorithm design, where message passing algorithms suffer from a large message fiuctuation far from convergence. Here we introduce a residual-based updating step into message passing algorithms,in which messages with large variation between consecutive steps are given high priority in the updating process. For the specific example of model RB(revised B),a typical prototype of random CSPs with growing domains,we show that our algorithm improves the convergence of message updating and increases the success probability in finding solutions around the satisfiability threshold with a low computational cost. Our approach to message passing algorithms should be of value for exploring their power in developing algorithms to find ground-state solutions and understand the detailed structure of solution space of hard optimization problems.
