In this work,a three-dimensional crystal-plasticity-based phase-field model considering three kinds of inelastic deformation mechanisms,i.e.,martensitic transformation,dislocation slip in austenite,and dislocation slip in martensite,is established to simulate the stress-assisted two-way shape memory effect(SATWSME)of NiTi single crystals and its cyclic degradation.The simulation results show that the ability of the SATWSME of NiTi single crystal increases as increasing the constant stress in the range discussed in this work(10–100 MPa),which is due to the increase of reoriented martensite formed in the cooling process due to the enhanced variant-selection capability of increased constant stress.The martensitic transformation and its reverse in the cyclic process reflecting the SATWSME show more and more obvious localization characteristics,resulting in the accumulation of significantly heterogeneous plastic deformation(mainly caused by the dislocation slip in austenite),which leads to the cyclic degradation of SATWSME.The simulation results and the conclusions drawn from this work are helpful for further understanding the mechanism of functional cyclic degradation of NiTi alloys. 展开更多

A macroscopic based multi-mechanism constitutive model is constructed in the framework of irreversible thermodynamics to describe the degeneration of shape memory effect occurring in the thermo-mechanical cyclic deformation of NiTi shape memory alloys (SMAs). Three phases, austenite A, twinned martensite and detwinned martensite , as well as the phase transitions occurring between each pair of phases (, , , , and are considered in the proposed model. Meanwhile, two kinds of inelastic deformation mechanisms, martensite transformation-induced plasticity and reorientation-induced plasticity, are used to explain the degeneration of shape memory effects of NiTi SMAs. The evolution equations of internal variables are proposed by attributing the degeneration of shape memory effect to the interaction between the three phases (A, , and and plastic deformation. Finally, the capability of the proposed model is verified by comparing the predictions with the experimental results of NiTi SMAs. It is shown that the degeneration of shape memory effect and its dependence on the loading level can be reasonably described by the proposed model. 展开更多

This paper examines the quasi-static cyclic behavior, lateral strength and equivalent damping capacities of a system of post-tensioned segmental bridge columns tied with large diameter martensitic Shape Memory Alloy (SMA) link-bars. Moment-curvature constitutive relationships are formulated and analysis tools are developed for the PT column, including a modified four-spring model prepared for the SMA bars. The suggested system is exemplified using a column with an aspect ratio of 7.5 and twelve 36.5 mm diameter NiTi martensitic SMA bars. A post-tensioning force of 40% to 60% of the tendon yield strength is applied in order to obtain a self re-centering system, considering the residual stress of the martensitie SMA bars. The cyclic response results show that the lateral strength remains consistently around 10% of the total vertical load and the equivalent viscous damping ratios reach 10%-12% of critical. When large diameter NiTi superelastic SMA bars are incorporated into the column system, the cyclic response varies substantially. The creep behavior of the superelastic SMA bar is accounted for since it affects the re-centering capability of the column. Two examples are presented to emphasize the modeling sensitivities for these special bars and quantify their cyclic behavior effects within the column assembly. 展开更多

It is shown that the thermal cycling causes the decreases in M, and Af temperatures in Ti50Pd50-xNix (x=10, 20, 30) alloys, but no obvious thermal cycling effect was observed in Ti50Pd50Pd40Ni10 alloys and the aging effect shows a curious feature, i.e., the Af temperature does not saturate even after relatively long time aging, which is considered to be due to the occurrence of recovery recrystallization during aging. 展开更多

Based on stress-and strain-controlled cyclic tension-unloading-heat-cooling tests,cyclic degradation of the one-way shape memory effect(OWSME)of NiTi shape memory alloys(SMAs)was investigated.It was seen,in thermo-mechanical coupled cyclic tests,that residual strain after each cycle accumulated,but the martensite reorientation stress and dissipation energy-per-cycle decreased as the number of cycles increased.Meanwhile,the cyclic degradation of OWSME was aggravated by increasing the stress/strain amplitude.In addition,the stress-strain response of NiTi SMAs was further investigated by performing simultaneous thermo-mechanical coupled cyclic tests with various phase-angle differences between the mechanical and thermal cyclic loadings.It can be concluded that such cyclic response depends significantly on prescribed phase-angle differences.Obtained experimental results are helpful for both the development of constitutive models and engineering applications of NiTi SMAs. 展开更多

The cyclic transformation behaviors of polycrystalline super-elastic NiTi shape memory alloys (SMAs)under multiaxial loading paths with different angles between axial and torsional loading orientations were experimentally investigated.The experimental results showed that the start stresses of forward and reverse transformations decreased with the increase'in the number of cycles and exhibit obvious anisotropic evolutions.The start stresses of forward and reverse transformations in the tensile and torsional directions did not satisfy the yon Mises criterion.The shape of transformation surface during the forward and reverse transformations evolved with the increase in the number of cycles.Then,new cyclic anisotropic transformation surfaces were established by introducing an anisotropic tensor into the von Mises equivalent stress based on a typical transformation criterion related to J2 and J3.Moreover,the evolution equations of material parameters used in the proposed transformation surfaces were established to describe the subsequent evolutions of transformation surfaces.Finally,the start stresses of forward and reverse transformations predicted using the proposed transformation surfaces were compared with the experimental results.It shows that the proposed transformation surfaces can reasonably describe the start stresses of forward and reverse transformations,which are helpful for establishing a three-dimensional cyclic constitutive model to describe the cyclic transformation behaviors of super-elastic NiTi SMAs. 展开更多

Cyclic heat treatment that can continuously promote abnormal grain growth is widely used for the prepa-ration of single-crystal Fe-Mn-Al-based shape memory alloys.However,it takes a long time to prepare large-size Fe-Mn-Al-based alloy single crystals via the reported cyclic heat treatments.Meanwhile,the long-time cyclic heat treatment at high temperatures leads to the development of defects including oxidation and a decrease in Mn,which would deteriorate superelasticity in the Fe-Mn-Al-based shape memory alloys.To shorten the fabrication time of single crystals,the effect of the cyclic heat treatment process on the abnormal grain growth in the Fe-Mn-Al-based alloys with different Ni contents was systematically investigated.It is found that the abnormal grain growth of Fe-Mn-Al-based alloys was not significantly affected by the Ni contents(within 2.1 at.%-6.2 at.%).In addition,the abnormal grain growth could be promoted by 1-2℃ min^(-1) cooling rate,high solution temperature,and multiple cycles,while it was insensitive to other processes including heating rate,dual-phase time as well as long-time solution treat-ment.These findings can guide optimizing the fabrication process of single crystals by cyclic heat treat-ment.Finally,the Fe_(41.9)Mn_(37.8)Al_(14.1) Ni_(6.2) single crystal prepared by the optimized cyclic heat treatment showed a recoverable strain of about 4%. 展开更多

目的:探讨安寐丹通过调节环鸟苷酸-腺苷酸合成酶(cGAS)/干扰素基因刺激蛋白(STING)信号通路影响免疫炎症,进而改善失眠大鼠学习记忆功能的机制。方法:60只SD大鼠随机分为空白组,模型组,苏沃雷生组(30 mg·kg^(-1)),安寐丹低、中、... 目的:探讨安寐丹通过调节环鸟苷酸-腺苷酸合成酶(cGAS)/干扰素基因刺激蛋白(STING)信号通路影响免疫炎症,进而改善失眠大鼠学习记忆功能的机制。方法:60只SD大鼠随机分为空白组,模型组,苏沃雷生组(30 mg·kg^(-1)),安寐丹低、中、高剂量组(4.55、9.09、18.18 g·kg^(-1)),每组10只;腹腔注射对氯苯丙氨酸(PCPA)构建失眠大鼠模型,给予对应剂量的安寐丹水煎液与生理盐水灌胃28 d;Morris水迷宫、新物体识别检测学习记忆功能;苏木素-伊红(HE)染色和尼氏(Nissl)染色观察海马细胞形态;酶联免疫吸附测定法(ELISA)检测血清白细胞介素-1(IL-1)、白细胞介素-1β(IL-1β)、白细胞介素-6(IL-6)、白细胞介素-8(IL-8)、白细胞介素-12(IL-12)、白细胞介素-18(IL-18)、肿瘤坏死因子-α(TNF-α)含量;蛋白免疫印迹法(Westernblot)与实时荧光定量聚合酶链式反应(Real-time PCR)检测海马cGAS、STING蛋白和mRNA相对表达量。结果:与空白组比较,模型组5-羟色胺(5-HT)含量显著降低(P<0.01);上平台潜伏期和总路程明显延长(P<0.05,P<0.01),目标象限驻留时间、穿越平台次数显著减少(P<0.01),新物体相对识别指数显著降低(P<0.01);海马神经元形态、排列松散紊乱,胞内尼氏体数量减少;IL-1、IL-1β、IL-6、IL-8、IL-12、IL-18、TNF-α和cGAS、STING通路蛋白及mRNA相对表达量显著上调(P<0.01)。与模型组比较,安寐丹高剂量组上平台潜伏期明显缩短(P<0.05),安寐丹中、高剂量组和苏沃雷生组目标象限驻留时间、穿越平台次数显著增加(P<0.01),各给药组总路程显著缩短(P<0.01),新物体相对识别指数显著上升(P<0.01),海马神经元排列稍紧密整齐,胞内尼氏体数量增加;安寐丹中、高剂量组IL-1、IL-1β、IL-6、IL-8、IL-12、IL-18、TNF-α和cGAS蛋白及mRNA表达明显下调(P<0.05,P<0.01)。结论:安寐丹改善失眠大鼠学习记忆可能与cGAS/STING信号通路抑制免疫炎症相关。 展开更多

The mechanical properties of red sandstone subjected to cyclic point loading were investigated. Tests were conducted using MTS servohydraulic landmark test system, under cyclic loadings with constant amplitudes and increasing multi-level amplitudes. The frequencies range from 0.1 to 5 Hz and lower limit load ratios range from 0 to 0.60. Laboratory investigations were performed to find the effect of the frequency and the lower limit load ratio on the fatigue life and hysteresis properties of sandstone. The results show that the fatigue life of sandstone decreases first and then increases with the increase of frequency and lower limit load ratio. Under the same cycle number, the spacing between hysteresis loops increases with rising frequency and decreasing lower limit load ratio. The existence of “training” and “memory” effects in red sandstone under cyclic point loading was proved. 展开更多

以含二氮杂萘酮结构共聚醚酮(CoPPEK)为原料,通过溶液浇注法将其制备成均质薄膜,采用热重分析、差示扫描量热仪及动态力学分析测试了材料的热性能、动态力学性能及形状记忆性能,并用X射线衍射仪表征了CoPPEK薄膜在循环形状记忆测试前后... 以含二氮杂萘酮结构共聚醚酮(CoPPEK)为原料,通过溶液浇注法将其制备成均质薄膜,采用热重分析、差示扫描量热仪及动态力学分析测试了材料的热性能、动态力学性能及形状记忆性能,并用X射线衍射仪表征了CoPPEK薄膜在循环形状记忆测试前后的聚集态变化。结果表明,CoPPEK具有优良的热稳定性,在氮气氛围下5%热分解温度为510℃,800℃残炭率为64%,玻璃化转变温度(T_(g))为228℃;CoPPEK薄膜的储能模量从玻璃态到橡胶态发生显著降低,数值变化达两个数量级,满足作为形状记忆聚合物的基本条件。形状记忆性能测试表明,CoPPEK薄膜的形状固定率(R_(f))为91.0%,形状回复率(R_(r))为77.5%。在循环形状记忆性能测试中,CoPPEK薄膜的R_(f)稳定在98.2%左右,R_(r)随循环次数增加而上升,其在4次循环后升至89.4%,且X射线衍射(XRD)分析显示循环拉伸后分子链有序性增强,表明CoPPEK薄膜具备良好的形状记忆性能及优异的循环稳定性。 展开更多

B掺杂Ti-Ta-Zr-Fe形状记忆合金的马氏体相变和形状记忆效应

作为重要的金属智能材料,高温形状记忆合金在航空航天、火灾预警、核反应堆等高温服役环境中具有巨大的应用价值。钛基高温形状记忆合金具有优异的冷加工性能和力学性能,但其形状记忆效应有待提升。Ti-15Ta-15Zr高温形状记忆合金具有优... 作为重要的金属智能材料,高温形状记忆合金在航空航天、火灾预警、核反应堆等高温服役环境中具有巨大的应用价值。钛基高温形状记忆合金具有优异的冷加工性能和力学性能,但其形状记忆效应有待提升。Ti-15Ta-15Zr高温形状记忆合金具有优异的形状记忆效应和较高的相变温度,但Zr掺杂使Ti-Ta合金的冷加工性能恶化,而加入少量第4组元Fe能有效改善Ti-15Ta-15Zr合金的力学性能。利用SEM、DSC、拉伸试验等测试方法研究了B元素掺杂和热机械处理对Ti-15Ta-15Zr-0.5Fe高温形状记忆合金的影响。B掺杂可以显著地细化晶粒,降低合金的相变温度,每掺杂0.1 at.%B将使马氏体相变峰值温度M_(p)降低5℃。B元素在Ti-15Ta-15Zr-0.5Fe中的固溶度约为0.3 at.%。B掺杂量超过0.3 at.%时,B将与Ti发生共晶反应,生成短棒状或针状TiB。当B掺杂量为0.3 at.%时,合金的可回复应变最大,形状记忆效应最佳。通过掺杂0.3 at.%B元素和700℃/0.5 h退火处理后,(Ti-15Ta-15Zr-0.5Fe)_(99.7)B_(0.3)合金的晶粒明显细化,在预应变6%时合金的可回复应变达5.6%,相较于Ti-15Ta-15Zr-0.5Fe提升了25%。 展开更多

采用超弹性NiTi合金棒可以使结构获得良好的自复位性能,但由于NiTi合金棒在工作中会出现不同程度的力学性能退化,致使结构的自复位与耗能能力受到削弱,因此,有必要对NiTi形状记忆合金棒材的力学性能稳定性作进一步研究。对4根经过不同... 采用超弹性NiTi合金棒可以使结构获得良好的自复位性能,但由于NiTi合金棒在工作中会出现不同程度的力学性能退化,致使结构的自复位与耗能能力受到削弱,因此,有必要对NiTi形状记忆合金棒材的力学性能稳定性作进一步研究。对4根经过不同热处理的Ti-50.8%Ni棒材进行常幅循环拉伸试验,研究了循环次数和不同热处理条件对棒材试件的滞回曲线形态、相变应力、弹性模量、残余应变、耗能能力等性能的影响,并对不同棒材试件的力学性能退化进行了比较分析。研究表明:常幅循环拉伸下NiTi合金棒材的弹性模量与极限应力变化相对较小,而相变应力、变形回复率以及等效阻尼比退化较为明显;材料的马氏体正相变应力相比逆相变应力降低幅度更大,且超弹性较好的NiTi合金棒材相变应力退化更明显;热处理温度过高或过低均会导致NiTi合金棒材的超弹性劣化,且棒材在循环工作中耗能能力会出现大幅下降。 展开更多

SMPU (shape memory polyurethane) non-ionomers and ionomers, synthesized with poly(c-caprolactone) (PCL), 4, 4'-diphenylmethane diisocyanate (MDI), 1,4-butanediol (BDO), dimethylolpropionic acid (DMPA) were measured with cyclic tensile test and strain recovery test. The relations between the structure and shape memory effect of these two series were studied with respect to the ionic group content and the effect of neutralization. The resulting data indicate that, with the introduction of asymmetrical extender, the stress at 100% elongation is decreased for PU non-ionomer and ionomer series, especially lowered sharply for non-ionomer series; the fixation ratio of ionomer series is not affected obviously by the ionic group content; the total recovery ratio of ionomer series is decreased greatly. After sufficient relaxation time for samples stretched beforehand, the switching temperature is raised slightly, whereas the recovery ratio measured with strain recovery test method is lowered with increased DMPA content. The characterization with FT-IR, DSC, DMA elucidated that, the ordered hard domain of the two series is disrupted with the introduction of DMPA which causes more hard segments to dissolve in soft phase; ionic groups on hard segment enhance the cohesion between hard segments especially at high ionic group content and significantly facilitate the phase separation compared with the corresponding non-ionomer at moderate ionic group content. 展开更多

为充分发挥大直径NiTi形状记忆合金(SMA)绞线的超弹性性能,在常温下对单丝直径1.0 mm的7×19构型SMA绞线进行了循环拉伸试验;分析了热处理方案、应变幅值、循环次数、预训练和加载速率等因素对其超弹性的影响,得到了各因素下SMA绞... 为充分发挥大直径NiTi形状记忆合金(SMA)绞线的超弹性性能,在常温下对单丝直径1.0 mm的7×19构型SMA绞线进行了循环拉伸试验;分析了热处理方案、应变幅值、循环次数、预训练和加载速率等因素对其超弹性的影响,得到了各因素下SMA绞线的残余应变、能量耗散、等效粘滞阻尼比、强度和刚度等力学参数变化规律。结果表明:针对本研究的7×19构型SMA绞线,400℃退火10 min的热处理方案下其相变应力和恢复率最高,热处理时间过长会造成这些特性严重退化;SMA绞线内部单丝变形和应力发展不均匀程度更高,滞回曲线无明显相变平台;恒定幅值拉伸下SMA绞线的初始弹性模量和极限应力变化相对较小,而相变平台高度、恢复率以及等效粘滞阻尼比退化较为明显;通过预训练的方式可以减轻SMA绞线的功能损伤,显著减小残余变形,提高可恢复能力;加载速率对SMA绞线的马氏体应力和屈服平台切线模量的影响较大,当加载速率超过1×10^(-2) s^(-1)后,滞回曲线对加载速率的变化不再敏感。试验结果可为7×19构型SMA绞线的应用提供数据支持。 展开更多
