Objective:There is vast literature on transformative learning,which is an important aspect of nursing education,but its meaning remains unclear.It is therefore important to clarify the meaning of transformative learni...Objective:There is vast literature on transformative learning,which is an important aspect of nursing education,but its meaning remains unclear.It is therefore important to clarify the meaning of transformative learning,identify its attributes,antecedents and consequences to increase its use in nursing education,practice and research.Methods:Walker and Avant's method was used,and the process provided a structured way to analyse the concept of'transfonnative leaming'.Nursing education dictionaries,encyclopaedias,conference papers,research articles,dissertations,theses,journal articles,thesauri and relevant books through the database library and intemet searches were reviewed.One hundred and two literature sources were reviewed,and data saturation was reached.Results:The results of the concept analysis of transformative learning within the context of nursing education identified three categories,namely,1)Antecedents as cognitive and affective perspective,democratic education principles and inspiration;2)Process through three phases,namely i)awareness through self-reflection,ii)the meaningful interactive,integrative and democratic construction process,and iii)metacognitive reasoning abilities;and 3)Outcomes.A theoretical definition of transformative learning was formulated.Theoretical validity was ensured.Conclusion:The results of the concept analysis of transformative learning were used to describe a model to facilitate transformative learning within the context of nursing education.展开更多

Methodology: Integrative review design in reviewing pertaining literature. Key words related to research were used, database obtained from Cochrane library, MEDLINE, PubMed, Science Direct, Cumulative Index Nursing and Allied Health Literature (CINAHL), ProQuest and Ovid databases were searched, covering the period 2010 to 2019. Other Studies were included if they were related to the effectiveness of concept mapping as an educational nursing intervention strategy to handle diabetic foot. Results: Reveled that concept mapping is a very crucial education tool for both nurses and patients. It is used by nurses to teach diabetic patients how to prevent diabetic foot ulcer, as well as to understand how to organize information and understand the facts. Conclusion: This review confirmed that there are growing confirming literatures about the application of concept maps as an effective nursing strategy. Educators believe that concept mapping is a motivating teaching strategy, hence, it is fostering the long-term and meaningful learning. 文摘Human rights education in primary and secondary schools is the initial and crucial phase of human rights education.Based on the normative documents formulated by the United Nations for human rights education during this phase,this paper constructs the United Nations standards for human rights education in primary and secondary schools,which include four major aspects:educational content,educational methods,reference mechanisms,and human rights concepts.They correspond respectively to the core connotations,practical pathways,institutional protections,and spiritual pursuits of human rights education in primary and secondary schools.On the basis of critically reflecting on these standards,and in reference to the United Nations standards and in accordance with China’s actual conditions,this paper proposes the“Chinese Approach”for human rights education in primary and secondary schools:first,in terms of legislation,clear legal basis should be provided;second,in terms of administration,clear goals and action guidelines should be provided;third,in terms of resource guarantee,sufficient resource support should be provided;fourth,in terms of curriculum design,it should be suitable for Chinese primary and secondary school students;fifth,in terms of evaluation mechanism,a variety of evaluation mechanisms should be constructed.

文摘The Outcome-Based Education(OBE)educational concept,proposed by renowned American educator Spady,aims to guide students in mastering learning laws and ultimately achieving expected learning outcomes.The application of OBE educational concept in Hospitality English curriculum not only can effectively enhance the learning effect but also promote the reform of the Hospitality English curriculum,thus improving students’learning enthusiasm.Therefore,taking the Hospitality English curriculum as an example,this paper points out the existing problems in the teaching of this course and suggests the reform measures based on the OBE teaching concept,hoping to provide guidelines for related educational work.
文摘When educationalists are asked to define their own academic discipline of Education Studies, they often struggle to reach a common understanding. From an epistemological point of view, this indeterminacy leads back to the complex considerations involved in establishing a basic concept of education. In this article, the author explores in a preliminary fashion the possibility of identifying the essence of education in its performativity as an occurrence in context that always precedes and supersedes our theoretical considerations of it. Education is not to be understood primarily as something conceptual （theory） but rather in terms of its significance as a situational event （reality）. Educational reality thus informs educational theory and this relationship implies a knowledge-ethical surplus of the former as an inexhaustible source for the latter.

This paper mainly discusses the present situation of higher education equity in China and the analysis of factors affecting higher education equity, and summarizes some trends of the development of higher education equity and then puts forward some measures to promote the development of higher education equity.

Ecological literacy is the basic literacy of college students under the background of green development to build socialism with Chinese characteristics. The green development education is based on the research idea of the relationship between the individual and the surrounding environment in ecology, which requires respecting the subjectivity of the active object, paying attention to the integrity and connection of the object. Compared with the traditional education, green development education pays more attention to the cultivation of moral quality and sound personality of the educated, and it can make the students understand the ecological environment. Under the premise of ecological system and the mechanism of biological growth and development, respect and love of life are formed naturally, and then the universal concern for environment and others is formed. College students, as advanced groups of young people, are leading the social fashion and influencing the social ethical environment. Ecological literacy is the new requirement of the times for college students. We should integrate the education of green development into the ideological education,make great efforts to shape the ecological ethical system of college students, and cultivate their ecological consciousness, ecological thinking and behavior habits. It is an important issue for ideological education to improve the quality of green development in an all-round way.
