There is a contradiction between high processing complexity and limited processing resources when turbo codes are used on the on-board processing(OBP)satellite platform.To solve this problem,this paper proposes a part...There is a contradiction between high processing complexity and limited processing resources when turbo codes are used on the on-board processing(OBP)satellite platform.To solve this problem,this paper proposes a partial iterative decode method for on-board application,in which satellite only carries out limited number of iteration according to the on-board processing resource limitation and the throughput capacity requirements.In this method,the soft information of parity bits,which is not obtained individually in conventional turbo decoder,is encoded and forwarded along with those of information bits.To save downlink transmit power,the soft information is limited and normalized before forwarding.The iteration number and limiter parameters are optimized with the help of EXIT chart and numerical analysis,respectively.Simulation results show that the proposed method can effectively decrease the complexity of onboard processing while achieve most of the decoding gain..展开更多
Modern satellite communication systems require on-board processing(OBP)for performance improvements,and SRAM-FPGAs are an attractive option for OBP implementation.However,SRAM-FPGAs are sensitive to radiation effects,...Modern satellite communication systems require on-board processing(OBP)for performance improvements,and SRAM-FPGAs are an attractive option for OBP implementation.However,SRAM-FPGAs are sensitive to radiation effects,among which single event upsets(SEUs)are important as they can lead to data corruption and system failure.This paper studies the fault tolerance capability of a SRAM-FPGA implemented Viterbi decoder to SEUs on the user memory.Analysis and fault injection experiments are conducted to verify that over 97%of the SEUs on user memory would not lead to output errors.To achieve a better reliability,selective protection schemes are then proposed to further improve the reliability of the decoder to SEUs on user memory with very small overhead.Although the results are obtained for a specific FPGA implementation,the developed reliability estimation model and the general conclusions still hold for other implementations.展开更多

This paper provides a compound/integrated algorithm based on process f...The general layout of 6th generation semi-submersible drilling platforms is the main factor impacting the efficiency of their drilling operations. This paper provides a compound/integrated algorithm based on process flow that is aimed at improving efficiency, while giving attention to stability and safety at the same time. The paper describes the process flow of dual drilling centers and a hierarchical division of rigs based on the different modes of transportation of various drilling support systems. The general layout-centripetal overall arrangement spatially was determined based on drilling efficiency. We derived our modules according to drilling functionality; the modules became our basic layout units. We applied different layout algorithm to mark out the upper and lower decks. That is, the upper deck was designed based on the lowest transportation cost while the lower deck's calculations were based on the best-fit scope. Storage configurations in columns and pontoons were also considered for the layout design. Finally the center of gravity was taken into consideration and the general layout was adjusted accordingly, to result in an optimal center of gravity. The methodology of the general layout can provide a reference for implementation of domestic designs of semi-submersible rigs.展开更多

In the present research, equivalent warping deformation was firstly presented to describe the extent of deformation at platform. To optimize the process parameters during investment casting to minimize the warping deformation of the platform, based on simulation with Pro CAST, the single factor method, orthogonal test, neural network and genetic algorithm were subsequently used to analyze the influence of pouring temperature, shell mold preheating temperature, furnace temperature and withdrawal velocity on dimensional accuracy of the platform of superalloyDD6 turbine blade. The accuracy of investment casting simulation was verified by measurement of platform at blade casting. The simulation results with the optimal process parameters illustrate that the equivalent warping deformation was dramatically reduced by 21.8% from 0.232295 mm to 0.181698 mm.展开更多

This system can suit to the climate environment of very high temperature high moisture and very low temperature - supersaturation; it has a self-protection ability to against the hurricane - force wind over force 12 and the strong vibration during icebreaking, as well as strong magnetic disturbance. It has two sets of receiving-imagery processing systems for polar orbit low-resolution and quasi-stationary high-solution satellites. The key creation Points of this system are as follows: 1. the active gyro-control stabilization platform and a mixed mounting system of three rotating a - B and x -- y axes are used. It solved the tracing difficulties both in the low elevation angle and very high elevation angle of polar-orbit satellite, even in the status of ship moving with continuously changing its poition, direction and ship roll and pitch. 2. Imagery processing subsystem. The newest BORLAND-- DELPHI language and PASCAL language pro gramming software are used under WINDOWS 95 environment. It has a dynamic positioning nested-grid system and electric mapping grid data system. It can show the latitude-longitude of any point on the map, and marks any object such as ship, station or island, and draws the route. It can monitor cloud and temperature, forest fire, anomalous change of ocean and land. It can output satellite cloud maps of 24 bit with very high clarity. This system is very advanced in technique for the whole structure with the features of small volume, light weight and very low cost. It suits to very bad climate and ocean environment. Its imagery process ing system has complete functions with high resolution and being very easy to operate. It is not only suit to land use, but also and specially to all kinds of ship over the sea. It can be extended to domestic and international use. With the growing importance of wearable and portable electronics in modern society and industry,researchers from all over the world have reported on advances in energy harvesting and self-powered sensing technologies....With the growing importance of wearable and portable electronics in modern society and industry,researchers from all over the world have reported on advances in energy harvesting and self-powered sensing technologies.The current review discusses recent developments in triboelectric platforms from a manufacturing perspective,including material,design,application,and industrialization.Manufacturing is an essential component of both industry and technology.The use of a proper manufacturing process enables cutting-edge technology in a lab-scale stage to progress to commercialization and popularization with scalability,availability,commercial advantage,and consistent quality.Furthermore,much literature has emphasized that the most powerful advantage of the triboelectric platform is its wide range of available materials and simple working mechanism,both of which are important characteristics in manufacturing engineering.As a result,different manufacturing processes can be implemented as needed.Because the practical process can have a synergetic effect on the fundamental development,resulting in the growth of both,the development of the triboelectric platform from the standpoint of manufacturing engineering can be further advanced.However,research into the development of a productive manufacturing process is still in its early stages in the field of triboelectric platforms.This review looks at the various manufacturing technologies used in previous studies and discusses the potential benefits of the appropriate process for triboelectric platforms.Given its unique strength,which includes a diverse material selection and a simple working mechanism,the triboelectric platform can use a variety of manufacturing technologies and the process can be optimized as needed.Numerous research groups have clearly demonstrated the triboelectric platform's advantages.As a result,using appropriate manufacturing processes can accelerate the technological advancement of triboelectric platforms in a variety of research and industrial fields by allowing them to move beyond the lab-scale fabrication stage.展开更多
