Numerical simulation of the hydrodynamics within octagonal tanks in recirculating aquaculture systems 被引量:21

A three-dimensional numerical model was established to simulate the hydrodynamics within an octagonal tank of a recirculating aquaculture system. The realizable k-e turbulence model was applied to describe the flow, the discrete phase model (DPM) was applied to generate particle trajectories, and the governing equations are solved using the finite volume method. To validate this model, the numerical results were compared with data obtained from a full-scale physical model. The results show that: (1) the realizable k-e model applied for turbulence modeling describes well the flow pattern in octagonal tanks, giving an average relative error of velocities between simulated and measured values of 18% from contour maps of velocity magnitudes; (2) the DPM was applied to obtain particle trajectories and to simulate the rate of particle removal from the tank. The average relative error of the removal rates between simulated and measured values was 11%. The DPM can be used to assess the self-cleaning capability of an octagonal tank; (3) a comprehensive account of the hydrodynamics within an octagonal tank can be assessed from simulations. The velocity distribution was uniform with an average velocity of 15 cm/s; the velocity reached 0.8 m/s near the inlet pipe, which can result in energy losses and cause wall abrasion; the velocity in tank corners was more than 15 cm/s, which suggests good water mixing, and there was no particle sedimentation. The percentage of particle removal for octagonal tanks was 90% with the exception of a little accumulation of 〈5 mm particle in the area between the inlet pipe and the wall. This study demonstrated a consistent numerical model of the hydrodynamics within octagonal tanks that can be further used in their design and optimization as well as promote the wide use of computational fluid dynamics in aquaculture engineering. 展开更多

We investigate the effect of interaction, temperature, and anisotropic parameter on the quantum phase transitions in an anisotropic square-octagon lattice with fermions under the framework of the single band Hubbard model through using the combination of cellular dynamical mean field theory and a continuous time Monte Carlo algorithm. The competition between interaction and temperature shows that with the increase of the anisotropic parameter, the critical on-site repulsive interaction for the metal-insulator transition increases for fixed temperature. The interaction-anisotropic parameter phase diagram reveals that with the decrease of temperature, the critical anisotropic parameter for the Mott transition will increase for fixed interaction cases. 展开更多

Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) is a special type of communication medium through distributed sensor nodes. Popular wireless sensor nodes like ZigBee have splendid interoperability after IEEE 802.15.4 standardization in the domain of wireless personal area network (WPAN). ZigBee has another great feature mobility that makes the ZigBee network more versatile. The mobility feature of ZigBee mobile nodes has a greater impact on network performance than fixed nodes. This impact sometimes turns into more severe because of network structure and mobility model. This study mainly focuses on the performance analysis of the ZigBee mobile node under Random and Octagonal mobility management model with the Tree routing method. The Riverbed academic modeler is used to design, implement and simulate the ZigBee network under certain conditions. This study also presents a competitive performance analysis based on ZigBee mobile nodes transmitter and receiver characteristics under the observation of the mobility model. This indicates that Octagonal mobility model exhibits better performance than the Random mobility model. This study will constitute a new way for further designing and planning a reliable and efficient ZigBee network. 展开更多

Investigation of Heave Response of the Deepwater Octagonal FDPSO Using Various Heave Plate Configurations

Heave plates can be employed to control undesirable heave motion amplitudes of the deepwater octagonal Floating, Drilling, Production, Storage, and Offloading(FDPSO) platform. Numerical simulations and model tests were applied to analyze and investigate the hydrodynamic response and the feasibility of the heave plate configurations. The diameter and the depth below the free surface of a single-layer heave plate, as well as the spacing of two-layer heave plates, were considered as the primary variables when studying the effect of heave plates on FDPSO hydrodynamics. The analysis results indicate that the heave plate diameter significantly affects the heave hydrodynamics, and heave performance could be improved with an increased diameter. In addition, increasing the depth below the free surface of a single-layer heave plate does not effectively suppress the heave motion within the range of draft depths tested. The target FDPSO obtained better heave characteristics with increased spacing between the two-layer heave plates. Furthermore, the global performances of the octagonal FDPSO with these typical heave plate configurations were comparatively analyzed. The results indicate that from a hydrodynamic point of view, the single-layer heave plate configuration has an advantage over the two-layer heave plate configuration. 展开更多

The exact analytic solution of a Mode Ⅱ Griffith crack in the material was obtained by using the Fourier transform and dual integral equations theory, then the displacement and stress fields, stress intensity factor and strain energy release rate were determined, the physical sense of the results relative to phason and the difference between mechanical behaviors of the crack problem in crystal and quasicrystal were figured out. The octagonal star pattern painted pottery dou vessel of the Dawenkou Culture has long been an important representative of prehistoric painted pottery art because of its unique shape and decorative patterns.Scholars have put forward many explanations for the meaning of the octagonal star pattern.Among them,the"sun worship theory"is the most common.But most related studies infer it only by the similar shape of the image.This paper takes the octagonal star pattern painted pottery dou vessel of the Dawenkou Culture collected in Shandong Museum as the research object.On the basis of sorting out the existing research views,it re-discusses the symbolic meaning of the octagonal star pattern by combining archaeological discoveries,the function of the artifacts and related remains of the same period.This study thinks that directly equating the decorative pattern with the sun pattern may lead to over-interpretation;it is more likely to be a symbolic image formed by the method of"forming symbolic images through the observation of objects",which comprehensively reflects the prehistoric ancestors'understanding of natural environment,agricultural production and group identity.The octagonal star pattern may have a conceptual connection with natural beliefs such as sun worship,but it is not their direct image correspondence,and should be understood in a more complex cultural context.This paper aims to reflect on the applicability of different interpretation approaches in the study of prehistoric decorative patterns through this specific case,and provide a more cautious research perspective for the interpretation of the meaning of related images. 展开更多

超深小井眼高性能油管磨铣工具优化及应用研究

为解决超深小井眼修井作业中因井眼尺寸小、油管强度高而导致的磨铣井段长、磨铣速度慢及单趟进尺短等难题,优化了八角齿复合布齿高性能磨铣工具。基于P110钢级油管磨铣动力学仿真模型,优化设计了高性能磨铣工具,优选切削元件为八角齿,... 为解决超深小井眼修井作业中因井眼尺寸小、油管强度高而导致的磨铣井段长、磨铣速度慢及单趟进尺短等难题,优化了八角齿复合布齿高性能磨铣工具。基于P110钢级油管磨铣动力学仿真模型,优化设计了高性能磨铣工具,优选切削元件为八角齿,并确定后倾角为18°。磨铣作业时,八角齿利用其高切削吃入应力实现对高强度油管的有效“攻击”,同时凭借低切削力波动变异系数和低破碎比功保持切削稳定性;布齿方式采用全八角齿多级复合切削方式,进一步协同了切削齿的攻击性与稳定性,能量利用效率最高。高性能磨铣工具现场试验结果表明,单趟磨铣进尺相比常规磨鞋提高了32.86%,磨铣速度提升了33.33%,提速提效显著。八角齿复合布齿高性能磨铣工具的优化与应用,实现了高强度油管磨铣过程中的高稳定性与高效率,为超深小井眼修井作业提供了一种新的高效磨铣工具。 展开更多

在电池隔膜材料、电容器膜料等介电材料领域的高端市场中,对灰分含量在50×10^(-6)以下的低灰分聚丙烯的需求强劲.这些高端应用领域对聚丙烯的纯度、电绝缘性能以及化学稳定性提出了极高的要求,而灰分的存在会显著降低材料的介电性... 在电池隔膜材料、电容器膜料等介电材料领域的高端市场中,对灰分含量在50×10^(-6)以下的低灰分聚丙烯的需求强劲.这些高端应用领域对聚丙烯的纯度、电绝缘性能以及化学稳定性提出了极高的要求,而灰分的存在会显著降低材料的介电性能和机械性能,限制其在高端领域的应用.因此,如何高效率脱除聚丙烯颗粒的灰分,拓展其在高要求、高标准的新兴行业中的应用,具有重要的科学意义和工业价值.本文针对已有的“正己烷+异丙醇”复合溶剂脱灰分工艺传质效率低的问题,引入超声强化促进传质,获得优化的工艺参数揭示超声强化机理.采用自主设计的正八棱柱超声反应器,系统研究了超声换能器数量及排布方式、复合溶剂液位高度、复合溶剂组分配比、液固比例及超声处理时间等工艺参数对聚丙烯洗涤脱灰分效果的影响规律.结果表明,在换能器个数为4、复合溶剂液位高度为80 mm、复合溶剂正己烷和异丙醇体积比为21∶4、复合溶剂与聚丙烯颗粒液固比例为10 mL∶1 g以及超声处理时间为30 min的优化工艺参数条件下,聚丙烯颗粒的灰分含量降低至50×10^(-6)以下.通过正交分析,获得了各参数对聚丙烯洗涤脱灰分结果的影响顺序从大到小依次为:超声处理时间,复合溶剂组分配比,复合溶剂液位高度,液固比例.本文通过测量洗涤前后的聚丙烯颗粒粒度分布,揭示了超声强化复合溶剂洗涤聚丙烯脱灰分的作用机理:空化效应产生的微射流使固体颗粒破碎,破坏颗粒表面的致密结构,辅助复合溶剂更好地进入颗粒内部达到洗涤脱灰的效果.相关结果能为超声强化复合溶剂洗涤聚丙烯脱灰分技术及装备开发提供指导. 展开更多

2023年,内蒙古自治区文物考古研究院等单位组成联合考古队,对内蒙古锡林浩特市毛登牧场辽墓进行了抢救性清理。此次工作清理出一座辽代八角形木构建筑,出土琥珀串珠、玻璃质带具、铁铎、鎏金小铜铃、白釉绿彩瓷碎片、铜丝网络残件、丝... 2023年,内蒙古自治区文物考古研究院等单位组成联合考古队,对内蒙古锡林浩特市毛登牧场辽墓进行了抢救性清理。此次工作清理出一座辽代八角形木构建筑,出土琥珀串珠、玻璃质带具、铁铎、鎏金小铜铃、白釉绿彩瓷碎片、铜丝网络残件、丝织品碎片等文物。根据墓葬形制以及出土文物,推测这是一座辽代晚期墓葬。该墓葬体现了中原地区与草原地区丧葬文化的融合,为研究辽代葬俗提供了新材料,其中出土的八角形木椁为展示辽代木构建筑提供了珍贵的展览资源。 展开更多

基于流量均匀分配的八角形布水器蓄热性能及优化研究

布水器作为斜温层蓄热水罐中的重要部件,其参数对蓄热罐的蓄热性能——斜温层厚度及其形成时间,具有重要影响。以某八角形布水器为研究对象,针对流量分配不均匀问题提出一种基于AMESim的解决方案。在实现布水器流量均匀分配的基础上,采... 布水器作为斜温层蓄热水罐中的重要部件,其参数对蓄热罐的蓄热性能——斜温层厚度及其形成时间,具有重要影响。以某八角形布水器为研究对象,针对流量分配不均匀问题提出一种基于AMESim的解决方案。在实现布水器流量均匀分配的基础上,采用CFD数值模拟方法研究布水器半径、支管管径、分配管管径以及入口流速等参数对蓄热性能的影响,并通过二阶响应面模型结合多目标遗传算法对各参数进行优化。结果表明:适当减小布水器半径,增大支管管径、分配管管径和入口流速,有助于减小斜温层厚度和缩短形成时间;优化后的布水器使斜温层厚度及其形成时间分别较初始值减小了3.49 m(77.2%)和488.2 s(75.4%),有效地提升了蓄热罐的蓄热性能。 展开更多

为精确构建复杂空间物体的三维模型并准确计算其体积,设计基于机载激光LiDAR点云数据的空间物体三维数学建模与体积计算方法。使用安装的机载激光LiDAR装置采集实验中的点云数据,在采集中需要将机载激光LiDAR装置搭载无人机平台上。应用... 为精确构建复杂空间物体的三维模型并准确计算其体积,设计基于机载激光LiDAR点云数据的空间物体三维数学建模与体积计算方法。使用安装的机载激光LiDAR装置采集实验中的点云数据,在采集中需要将机载激光LiDAR装置搭载无人机平台上。应用GPS使AirLidar-1000、哈苏相机以及POS2010的时间实现同步,利用分区集成重构方案实施初步的空间物体三维数学建模工作。采用基于八叉树结构的优化策略,精简重叠区域的点云数据,最终构建出空间物体的三维数学模型。利用机载激光雷达生成的点云数据,引入切片法计算空间物体体积。测试结果表明,所研究方法的建模效果较好,模型保留了较多细节信息,体积计算的绝对误差较小。 展开更多
