Methods: MRI records of 78 patients with pathologically confirmed occupied lesions in cerebellopontine angle area were analyzed. Results: Of the 78 cases, 48 (61.5%) were unilateral acoustic neuroma, 5 (6.4%) were bilateral acoustic neuroma, 12 (15.4%) were meningioma, 4 (5.1%) were trigeminal neuroma, 3 (3.8%) were lipoma, 2 (2.6%) were melanoma, and 1 (1.3%) was medulloblastoma. According to the anatomic site, tumor lesion character, and MRI signal, the majority of cerebellopontine angle area tumors were diagnosed accurately. Conclusion: MRI plays an important role in diagnosis of occupying lesions in cerebellopontine angle area.展开更多

In the present work, we aim to investigate competitive occupying of Fe(3+) and Co(3+) ions into the lattice B-sites of perovskite LaFexCo(1-x)O3 formed under the condition of excess feeding of Fe(3+) and Co(2+) ions relative to the La(3+) ions. For this purpose, standard curve of normalized cell volumes(NCVs) of a defined series of perovskites LaFexCo(1-x)O3 versus the x values was plotted. Lattice occupancy of Fe(3+) ions at the B-sites of the perovskite LaFexCo(1-x)O3 was then determined from the standard curve. It is proved that Fe(3+) ions were capable of occupying preferentially into the lattice B-sites of the perovskite crystalline structure.展开更多
Models that predict a forest stand’s evolution are essential for developing plans for sustainable management.A simple mathematical framework was developed that con-siders the individual tree and stand basal area unde...Models that predict a forest stand’s evolution are essential for developing plans for sustainable management.A simple mathematical framework was developed that con-siders the individual tree and stand basal area under random resource competition and is based on two assumptions:(1)a sigmoid-type stochastic process governs tree and stand basal area dynamics of living and dying trees,and(2)the total area that a tree may potentially occupy determines the number of trees per hectare.The most effective method to satisfy these requirements is formalizing each tree diameter and potentially occupied area using Gompertz-type stochastic differential equations governed by fixed and mixed-effect parameters.Data from permanent experimental plots from long-term Lithuania experiments were used to construct the tree and stand basal area models.The new models were relatively unbiased for live trees of all species,including silver birch(Betula pen-dula Roth)and downy birch(Betula pubescens Ehrh.),[spruce(Picea abies),and pine(Pinus sylvestris)].Less reliable predic-tions were made for the basal area of dying trees.Pines gave the highest accuracy prediction of mean basal area among all live trees.The mean basal area prediction for all dying trees was lower than that for live trees.Among all species,pine also had the best average basal area prediction accuracy for live trees.Newly developed basal area growth and yield models can be recommended despite their complex formulation and implementation challenges,particularly in situations when data is scarce.This is because the newly observed plot provides sufficient information to calibrate random effects.展开更多
Eu^(2+)ions'occupancy in a-cordierite structure has been a hot research topic.In this study,Eu^(2+)ions were introduced intoα-Mg_(2)Al_(4)Si_(5)O_(18)structure by glass skeleton modification relaxation crystalliz...Eu^(2+)ions'occupancy in a-cordierite structure has been a hot research topic.In this study,Eu^(2+)ions were introduced intoα-Mg_(2)Al_(4)Si_(5)O_(18)structure by glass skeleton modification relaxation crystallization route,and optimizing Eu^(2+)ions'occupancy was induced by changing the skeleton structure through Al^(3+)content and B^(3+)-P^(5+)double substituting 2Si4+.Three occupied luminescent structures'evolution was verified by combining photo luminescence spectra and lattice parameters.The results show that within the range of Al^(3+)content lower than 1.1 mol or B^(3+)-P^(5+)content higher than 3 mol%,the lattice parameters are dominated by the a/b direction.This is beneficial for Eu^(2+)ions to occupy structural channel sites and Ca^(2+)sites,which forms occupied luminescent structures Eu^(2+)_(vac)and Eu^(2+)_(Ca).When the Al^(3+)content is higher than 1.1 mol or B^(3+)-P^(5+)content is lower than 3 mol%,the lattice parameters are dominated by c direction,which is more conducive to Eu^(2+)ions occupying Mg2+sites and occupied luminescent structure Eu^(2+)_(Mg)formation.By sensitivity calculations,occupancy priority of Eu^(2+)ions are derived as Eu^(2+)_(Ca)>Eu^(2+)_(vac)>Eu^(2+)_(Mg).This study provides an effective strategy to modulate Eu^(2+)occupancy thereby achieving single-component white light emission.展开更多
Background Malignant swelling is a fatal complication that can occur abruptly in space-occupying cerebellar infarction.We aimed to establish markers that predict malignant swelling in cerebellar infarction.Methods We ...Background Malignant swelling is a fatal complication that can occur abruptly in space-occupying cerebellar infarction.We aimed to establish markers that predict malignant swelling in cerebellar infarction.Methods We retrospectively analysed data of stroke patients who were treated in our hospital between 2014 and 2020.Malignant swelling was defined as a mass effect in the posterior cranial fossa,accompanied by a decrease in consciousness due to compression of the brainstem and/or the development of obstructive hydrocephalus.Statistical analyses were performed on multiple variables to identify predictors of malignant swelling.Results Among 7284 stroke patients,we identified 487 patients with an infarct in the cerebellum.93 patients were suitable for analysis having space-occupying cerebellar infarction.33 of 93(35.5%)patients developed malignant swelling.Multivariable analysis revealed infarct volume as the main predictor being independently associated with the development of malignant swelling with a cut-off infarct volume of 38 cm3 being associated with a swelling rate of>50%(OR 32.0,p<0.001).Higher NIHSS(National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale)score on admission(median NIHSS 12 vs 4,OR 1.078;p=0.008)and the presence of additional brainstem infarction(51.5%vs 16.7%,OR 5.312;p=0.013)were associated with the development of malignant swelling in univariate analyses.13 of 33(39.4%)cases of malignant swellings occurred after more than 3 days.Conclusions Infarct volume was the key significant predictor of malignant swelling in space-occupying cerebellar infarction.With many cases of malignant swelling occurring after more than 72 hours,we advocate prolonged neurological monitoring.展开更多
Introduction Venous thromboembolic events(VTEs)like deep vein thrombosis or pulmonary embolism are frequent complications in(neuro)critical ill patients.Anticoagulation for VTE after space-occupying brain infarction i...Introduction Venous thromboembolic events(VTEs)like deep vein thrombosis or pulmonary embolism are frequent complications in(neuro)critical ill patients.Anticoagulation for VTE after space-occupying brain infarction is a therapeutic dilemma.The aim of this retrospective study was to investigate the frequency of clinically apparent VTE in patients with acute ischaemic stroke(AIS)due to large vessel occlusion(LVO),its treatment,and the rate of complications.Methods Patients with first AIS due to LVO were assigned to one of the following groups:space-occupying brain infarction with(1)or without(2)decompressive craniectomy(DC),AIS comprising more than 2/3(3)or less than 2/3(4)of the middle cerebral artery territory.Clinically obtained parameters included risk factors for VTE,type of thromboprophylaxis,treatment of VTE and treatment-associated complications.Results 15 of 173(8.7%)patients had a VTE,which was diagnosed 10.9±7.2 days after admission.Patients with a space-occupying brain infarction and DC had significantly more VTE(n=11/63;17.5%)than patients with a space-occupying brain infarction without DC(0/26;p=0.023)or patients without DC(4/110;3.6%;p=0.004).Younger age,DC and cumulative duration of central venous catheter were identified as risk factors for VTE.Only three patients had major bleeding events while being anticoagulated(one asymptomatic cerebral and two extracranial bleedings).Discussion Patients with space-occupying brain infarction and DC hold a high risk for VTE.Despite extensive infarct size and DC,therapeutic anticoagulation required for VTE appeared to be safe regarding intracranial bleeding complications.展开更多
BACKGROUND Renal papillary necrosis(RPN)is a rare disease.It is difficult to distinguish RPN with urinary tract obstruction from upper urinary tract occupying lesions.We reported a case of RPN and made a definite diag...BACKGROUND Renal papillary necrosis(RPN)is a rare disease.It is difficult to distinguish RPN with urinary tract obstruction from upper urinary tract occupying lesions.We reported a case of RPN and made a definite diagnosis largely based upon its endoscopic characteristics.CASE SUMMARY A 75-year-old woman presented with right flank pain,visible hematuria and a body temperature greater than 39℃.Laboratory investigations revealed leukocytosis with 12.7×10/L white blood cells and 93.6%neutrophils.Blood creatinine was 333 umol/L.Ultrasonography showed hydronephrosis of the right kidney and a right distal ureteric lesion.After urgent placement of right ureteral double J stent and treatment with antibiotics,the patient’s symptoms and the blood abnormalities improved rapidly.Computed tomography urography showed the presence of multiple occupying lesions in the right pelvis.The endoscopic ureteroscopy revealed that renal papillary necrosis and the subsequent migration of sloughed papillae into the upper ureter and calyces.The sloughed papillae appeared like“cottons”,which were whitish,soft,and irregularly-shaped without blood supply.In addition,the necrotic and sloughed renal papillae were removed by flexible ureteroscopy to prevent further obstruction.Pathological examination found that infarcted renal papillae were associated with inflammatory exudation.Three months after discharge,follow-up computed tomography urography showed no obvious lesions in the renal pelvis.CONCLUSION This case revealed the endoscopic features of RPN.In addition,flexible ureteroscopy proves to be vital in diagnosis and treatment of RPN.展开更多

Conventional classifying techniques are used to deal with those datasets with characters and numbers. It is difficult, however, to apply them to datasets that include brain images and medical history (alphanumeric data), especially to guarantee the accuracy. For these datasets, this paper combines the knowledge of medical field and improves the traditional decision tree. The new classification algorithm with the direction of the medical knowledge not only adds the interaction with the doctors, but also enhances the quality of classification. The algorithm has been used on real brain CT images and a precious rule has been gained from the experiments. This paper shows that the algorithm works well for real CT data.展开更多

For ease of use, an array combined by a vertical-cone directional transducer and a horizontal-toroid one is installed on the mothership. Improved techniques are proposed to combat adverse channel conditions, such as frequency selectivity, non-stationary ship noise, and Doppler effects of the platform’s nonlinear movement. For coherent modulation, a turbo-coded single-carrier scheme is used. In the receiver, the sparse decision-directed Normalized Least-Mean-Square soft equalizer automatically adjusts the tap pattern and weights according to the multipath structure, the two receivers’ asymmetry, the signal’s frequency selectivity and the noise’s spectrum fluctuation. The use of turbo code in turbo equalization significantly suppresses the error floor and decreases the equalizer’s iteration times, which is verified by both the extrinsic information transfer charts and bit-error-rate performance. For noncoherent modulation, a concatenated error correction scheme of nonbinary convolutional code and Hadamard code is adopted to utilize full frequency diversity. Robust and lowcomplexity synchronization techniques in the time and Doppler domains are proposed. Sea trials with the submersible to a maximum depth of over 4500 m show that the shipborne communication system performs robustly during the adverse conditions. From the ten-thousand communication records in the 28 dives in 2017, the failure rate of the coherent frames and that of the noncoherent packets are both below 10%, where both synchronization errors and decoding errors are taken into account.展开更多

In order to improve the navigation accuracy of human occupied vehicle(HOV)precisely and efficiently,an innovative hybrid approach based on unscented Kalman filter(UKF)and support vector machine(SVM)is proposed to fuse...In order to improve the navigation accuracy of human occupied vehicle(HOV)precisely and efficiently,an innovative hybrid approach based on unscented Kalman filter(UKF)and support vector machine(SVM)is proposed to fuse integrated navigation data.HOV is generally equipped with long baseline(LBL)acoustic positioning system and dead reckoning(DR)as an integrated navigation system.UKF is adopted to estimate the state of the dynamic model because of its good performance in filtering nonlinear problems.An accurate and stable filtering result can be obtained when both LBL and DR are online.At the same time,SVM is utilized to train DR information with the result when LBL outrages,and the particle swarm optimization(PSO)algorithm is employed for SVM parameters optimization.Therefore,the integrated navigation system can maintain a good performance when the LBL is off-line.Simulation results with the real navigation data of Jiaolong HOV show that the methodology proposed here is able to meet the needs of HOV application.展开更多
Water lilies are not only highly favored aquatic ornamental plants with cultural and economic importance but they also occupy a critical evolutionary space that is crucial for understanding the origin and early evolut...Water lilies are not only highly favored aquatic ornamental plants with cultural and economic importance but they also occupy a critical evolutionary space that is crucial for understanding the origin and early evolutionary trajectory of flowering plants.The birth and rapid radiation of flowering plants has interested many scientists and was considered‘an abominable mystery’by Charles Darwin.In searching for the angiosperm evolutionary origin and its underlying mechanisms,the genome of Amborella has shed some light on the molecular features of one of the basal angiosperm lineages;however,little is known regarding the genetics and genomics of another basal angiosperm lineage,namely,the water lily.In this study,we reviewed current molecular research and note that water lily research has entered the genomic era.We propose that the genome of the water lily is critical for studying the contentious relationship of basal angiosperms and Darwin’s‘abominable mystery’.Four pantropical water lilies,especially the recently sequenced Nymphaea colorata,have characteristics such as small size,rapid growth rate and numerous seeds and can act as the best model for understanding the origin of angiosperms.The water lily genome is also valuable for revealing the genetics of ornamental traits and will largely accelerate the molecular breeding of water lilies.展开更多

In order to relieve the experience dependence and improve the design, a new Multidisciplinary Design Optimization (MDO) method "Bi-Level Integrated System Collaborative Optimization (BLISCO)" is applied to the conceptual design of an HOV, which consists of hull module, resistance module, energy module, structure module, weight module, and the stability module. This design problem is defined by 21 design variables and 23 constraints, and its objective is to maximize the ratio of payload to weight. In this paper,a blind multiband spectrum sensing(BMSS)method requiring no knowledge of noise power,primary signal and wireless channel is proposed based on the K-means clustering(KMC).In this approach,the KMC algorith...In this paper,a blind multiband spectrum sensing(BMSS)method requiring no knowledge of noise power,primary signal and wireless channel is proposed based on the K-means clustering(KMC).In this approach,the KMC algorithm is used to identify the occupied subband set(OSS)and the idle subband set(ISS),and then the location and number information of the occupied channels are obtained according to the elements in the OSS.Compared with the classical BMSS methods based on the information theoretic criteria(ITC),the new method shows more excellent performance especially in the low signal-to-noise ratio(SNR)and the small sampling number scenarios,and more robust detection performance in noise uncertainty or unequal noise variance applications.Meanwhile,the new method performs more stablely than the ITC-based methods when the occupied subband number increases or the primary signals suffer multi-path fading.Simulation result verifies the effectiveness of the proposed method.展开更多

文摘Models that predict a forest stand’s evolution are essential for developing plans for sustainable management.A simple mathematical framework was developed that con-siders the individual tree and stand basal area under random resource competition and is based on two assumptions:(1)a sigmoid-type stochastic process governs tree and stand basal area dynamics of living and dying trees,and(2)the total area that a tree may potentially occupy determines the number of trees per hectare.The most effective method to satisfy these requirements is formalizing each tree diameter and potentially occupied area using Gompertz-type stochastic differential equations governed by fixed and mixed-effect parameters.Data from permanent experimental plots from long-term Lithuania experiments were used to construct the tree and stand basal area models.The new models were relatively unbiased for live trees of all species,including silver birch(Betula pen-dula Roth)and downy birch(Betula pubescens Ehrh.),[spruce(Picea abies),and pine(Pinus sylvestris)].Less reliable predic-tions were made for the basal area of dying trees.Pines gave the highest accuracy prediction of mean basal area among all live trees.The mean basal area prediction for all dying trees was lower than that for live trees.Among all species,pine also had the best average basal area prediction accuracy for live trees.Newly developed basal area growth and yield models can be recommended despite their complex formulation and implementation challenges,particularly in situations when data is scarce.This is because the newly observed plot provides sufficient information to calibrate random effects.

文摘Eu^(2+)ions'occupancy in a-cordierite structure has been a hot research topic.In this study,Eu^(2+)ions were introduced intoα-Mg_(2)Al_(4)Si_(5)O_(18)structure by glass skeleton modification relaxation crystallization route,and optimizing Eu^(2+)ions'occupancy was induced by changing the skeleton structure through Al^(3+)content and B^(3+)-P^(5+)double substituting 2Si4+.Three occupied luminescent structures'evolution was verified by combining photo luminescence spectra and lattice parameters.The results show that within the range of Al^(3+)content lower than 1.1 mol or B^(3+)-P^(5+)content higher than 3 mol%,the lattice parameters are dominated by the a/b direction.This is beneficial for Eu^(2+)ions to occupy structural channel sites and Ca^(2+)sites,which forms occupied luminescent structures Eu^(2+)_(vac)and Eu^(2+)_(Ca).When the Al^(3+)content is higher than 1.1 mol or B^(3+)-P^(5+)content is lower than 3 mol%,the lattice parameters are dominated by c direction,which is more conducive to Eu^(2+)ions occupying Mg2+sites and occupied luminescent structure Eu^(2+)_(Mg)formation.By sensitivity calculations,occupancy priority of Eu^(2+)ions are derived as Eu^(2+)_(Ca)>Eu^(2+)_(vac)>Eu^(2+)_(Mg).This study provides an effective strategy to modulate Eu^(2+)occupancy thereby achieving single-component white light emission.
文摘Background Malignant swelling is a fatal complication that can occur abruptly in space-occupying cerebellar infarction.We aimed to establish markers that predict malignant swelling in cerebellar infarction.Methods We retrospectively analysed data of stroke patients who were treated in our hospital between 2014 and 2020.Malignant swelling was defined as a mass effect in the posterior cranial fossa,accompanied by a decrease in consciousness due to compression of the brainstem and/or the development of obstructive hydrocephalus.Statistical analyses were performed on multiple variables to identify predictors of malignant swelling.Results Among 7284 stroke patients,we identified 487 patients with an infarct in the cerebellum.93 patients were suitable for analysis having space-occupying cerebellar infarction.33 of 93(35.5%)patients developed malignant swelling.Multivariable analysis revealed infarct volume as the main predictor being independently associated with the development of malignant swelling with a cut-off infarct volume of 38 cm3 being associated with a swelling rate of>50%(OR 32.0,p<0.001).Higher NIHSS(National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale)score on admission(median NIHSS 12 vs 4,OR 1.078;p=0.008)and the presence of additional brainstem infarction(51.5%vs 16.7%,OR 5.312;p=0.013)were associated with the development of malignant swelling in univariate analyses.13 of 33(39.4%)cases of malignant swellings occurred after more than 3 days.Conclusions Infarct volume was the key significant predictor of malignant swelling in space-occupying cerebellar infarction.With many cases of malignant swelling occurring after more than 72 hours,we advocate prolonged neurological monitoring.
文摘Introduction Venous thromboembolic events(VTEs)like deep vein thrombosis or pulmonary embolism are frequent complications in(neuro)critical ill patients.Anticoagulation for VTE after space-occupying brain infarction is a therapeutic dilemma.The aim of this retrospective study was to investigate the frequency of clinically apparent VTE in patients with acute ischaemic stroke(AIS)due to large vessel occlusion(LVO),its treatment,and the rate of complications.Methods Patients with first AIS due to LVO were assigned to one of the following groups:space-occupying brain infarction with(1)or without(2)decompressive craniectomy(DC),AIS comprising more than 2/3(3)or less than 2/3(4)of the middle cerebral artery territory.Clinically obtained parameters included risk factors for VTE,type of thromboprophylaxis,treatment of VTE and treatment-associated complications.Results 15 of 173(8.7%)patients had a VTE,which was diagnosed 10.9±7.2 days after admission.Patients with a space-occupying brain infarction and DC had significantly more VTE(n=11/63;17.5%)than patients with a space-occupying brain infarction without DC(0/26;p=0.023)or patients without DC(4/110;3.6%;p=0.004).Younger age,DC and cumulative duration of central venous catheter were identified as risk factors for VTE.Only three patients had major bleeding events while being anticoagulated(one asymptomatic cerebral and two extracranial bleedings).Discussion Patients with space-occupying brain infarction and DC hold a high risk for VTE.Despite extensive infarct size and DC,therapeutic anticoagulation required for VTE appeared to be safe regarding intracranial bleeding complications.
文摘BACKGROUND Renal papillary necrosis(RPN)is a rare disease.It is difficult to distinguish RPN with urinary tract obstruction from upper urinary tract occupying lesions.We reported a case of RPN and made a definite diagnosis largely based upon its endoscopic characteristics.CASE SUMMARY A 75-year-old woman presented with right flank pain,visible hematuria and a body temperature greater than 39℃.Laboratory investigations revealed leukocytosis with 12.7×10/L white blood cells and 93.6%neutrophils.Blood creatinine was 333 umol/L.Ultrasonography showed hydronephrosis of the right kidney and a right distal ureteric lesion.After urgent placement of right ureteral double J stent and treatment with antibiotics,the patient’s symptoms and the blood abnormalities improved rapidly.Computed tomography urography showed the presence of multiple occupying lesions in the right pelvis.The endoscopic ureteroscopy revealed that renal papillary necrosis and the subsequent migration of sloughed papillae into the upper ureter and calyces.The sloughed papillae appeared like“cottons”,which were whitish,soft,and irregularly-shaped without blood supply.In addition,the necrotic and sloughed renal papillae were removed by flexible ureteroscopy to prevent further obstruction.Pathological examination found that infarcted renal papillae were associated with inflammatory exudation.Three months after discharge,follow-up computed tomography urography showed no obvious lesions in the renal pelvis.CONCLUSION This case revealed the endoscopic features of RPN.In addition,flexible ureteroscopy proves to be vital in diagnosis and treatment of RPN.
文摘Since brain tumors endanger people’s living quality and even their lives, the accuracy of classification becomes more important. Conventional classifying techniques are used to deal with those datasets with characters and numbers. It is difficult, however, to apply them to datasets that include brain images and medical history (alphanumeric data), especially to guarantee the accuracy. For these datasets, this paper combines the knowledge of medical field and improves the traditional decision tree. The new classification algorithm with the direction of the medical knowledge not only adds the interaction with the doctors, but also enhances the quality of classification. The algorithm has been used on real brain CT images and a precious rule has been gained from the experiments. This paper shows that the algorithm works well for real CT data.

文摘The Shipborne acoustic communication system of the submersible Shenhai Yongshi works in vertical, horizontal and slant channels according to the relative positions. For ease of use, an array combined by a vertical-cone directional transducer and a horizontal-toroid one is installed on the mothership. Improved techniques are proposed to combat adverse channel conditions, such as frequency selectivity, non-stationary ship noise, and Doppler effects of the platform’s nonlinear movement. For coherent modulation, a turbo-coded single-carrier scheme is used. In the receiver, the sparse decision-directed Normalized Least-Mean-Square soft equalizer automatically adjusts the tap pattern and weights according to the multipath structure, the two receivers’ asymmetry, the signal’s frequency selectivity and the noise’s spectrum fluctuation. The use of turbo code in turbo equalization significantly suppresses the error floor and decreases the equalizer’s iteration times, which is verified by both the extrinsic information transfer charts and bit-error-rate performance. For noncoherent modulation, a concatenated error correction scheme of nonbinary convolutional code and Hadamard code is adopted to utilize full frequency diversity. Robust and lowcomplexity synchronization techniques in the time and Doppler domains are proposed. Sea trials with the submersible to a maximum depth of over 4500 m show that the shipborne communication system performs robustly during the adverse conditions. From the ten-thousand communication records in the 28 dives in 2017, the failure rate of the coherent frames and that of the noncoherent packets are both below 10%, where both synchronization errors and decoding errors are taken into account.

文摘Inherent flaws in the extended Kalman filter(EKF) algorithm were pointed out and unscented Kalman filter(UKF) was put forward as an alternative.Furthermore,a novel adaptive unscented Kalman filter(AUKF) based on innovation was developed.The three data-fusing approaches were analyzed and evaluated in a mathematically rigorous way.Field experiments conducted in lake further demonstrate that AUKF reduces the position error approximately by 65% compared with EKF and by 35% UKF and improves the robust performance.

文摘In order to improve the navigation accuracy of human occupied vehicle(HOV)precisely and efficiently,an innovative hybrid approach based on unscented Kalman filter(UKF)and support vector machine(SVM)is proposed to fuse integrated navigation data.HOV is generally equipped with long baseline(LBL)acoustic positioning system and dead reckoning(DR)as an integrated navigation system.UKF is adopted to estimate the state of the dynamic model because of its good performance in filtering nonlinear problems.An accurate and stable filtering result can be obtained when both LBL and DR are online.At the same time,SVM is utilized to train DR information with the result when LBL outrages,and the particle swarm optimization(PSO)algorithm is employed for SVM parameters optimization.Therefore,the integrated navigation system can maintain a good performance when the LBL is off-line.Simulation results with the real navigation data of Jiaolong HOV show that the methodology proposed here is able to meet the needs of HOV application.

文摘Water lilies are not only highly favored aquatic ornamental plants with cultural and economic importance but they also occupy a critical evolutionary space that is crucial for understanding the origin and early evolutionary trajectory of flowering plants.The birth and rapid radiation of flowering plants has interested many scientists and was considered‘an abominable mystery’by Charles Darwin.In searching for the angiosperm evolutionary origin and its underlying mechanisms,the genome of Amborella has shed some light on the molecular features of one of the basal angiosperm lineages;however,little is known regarding the genetics and genomics of another basal angiosperm lineage,namely,the water lily.In this study,we reviewed current molecular research and note that water lily research has entered the genomic era.We propose that the genome of the water lily is critical for studying the contentious relationship of basal angiosperms and Darwin’s‘abominable mystery’.Four pantropical water lilies,especially the recently sequenced Nymphaea colorata,have characteristics such as small size,rapid growth rate and numerous seeds and can act as the best model for understanding the origin of angiosperms.The water lily genome is also valuable for revealing the genetics of ornamental traits and will largely accelerate the molecular breeding of water lilies.
文摘The bulk of the world’s millet crop is produced by India,Nigeria,Niger,Mali,Burkina Faso,Chad,and China.Finger millet(Eleusine coracana(L.)Gaertn),little millet(Panicum sumatrense Roth ex Roem.&Schult.),foxtail millet(Setaria italica(L.)P.Beauvois)and proso millet(Panicum miliaceum L.)are most commonly found species among various millet varieties.In India,finger millet occupy the largest area under cultivation among the small millets.Finger millet stands unique among the cereals such as barley,rye and oats with higher nutritional contents and has outstanding properties as a subsistence food crop.It is rich in calcium(0.34%),dietary fiber(18%),phytates(0.48%),protein(6%–13%)minerals(2.5%–3.5%),and phenolics(0.3%–3%).Moreover,it is also a rich source of thiamine,riboflavin,iron,methionine,isoleucine,leucine,phenylalanine and other essential amino acids.The abundance of these phytochemicals enhances the nutraceutical potential of finger millet,making it a powerhouse of health benefiting nutrients.It has distinguished health beneficial properties,such as anti-diabetic(type 2 diabetes mellitus),anti-diarrheal,antiulcer,anti-inflammatory,antitumerogenic(K562 chronic myeloid leukemia),atherosclerogenic effects,antimicrobial and antioxidant properties.

文摘The design of Human Occupied Vehicle (HOV) is a typical multidisciplinary problem, but heavily dependent on the experience of naval architects at present engineering design. In order to relieve the experience dependence and improve the design, a new Multidisciplinary Design Optimization (MDO) method "Bi-Level Integrated System Collaborative Optimization (BLISCO)" is applied to the conceptual design of an HOV, which consists of hull module, resistance module, energy module, structure module, weight module, and the stability module. This design problem is defined by 21 design variables and 23 constraints, and its objective is to maximize the ratio of payload to weight. The results show that the general performance of the HOV can be greatly improved by BLISCO.

To efficiently manage the hardware free resources for the placing of tasks on FPGA and take full advantage of the partially reconfigurable units, good utilization of chip resources is an important and necessary work. In this paper, a new method is proposed to find the complete set of maximal free resource rectangles based on the cross point of edge lines of running tasks on FPGA area, and the prove process is provided to make sure the correctness of this method.

文摘In this paper,a blind multiband spectrum sensing(BMSS)method requiring no knowledge of noise power,primary signal and wireless channel is proposed based on the K-means clustering(KMC).In this approach,the KMC algorithm is used to identify the occupied subband set(OSS)and the idle subband set(ISS),and then the location and number information of the occupied channels are obtained according to the elements in the OSS.Compared with the classical BMSS methods based on the information theoretic criteria(ITC),the new method shows more excellent performance especially in the low signal-to-noise ratio(SNR)and the small sampling number scenarios,and more robust detection performance in noise uncertainty or unequal noise variance applications.Meanwhile,the new method performs more stablely than the ITC-based methods when the occupied subband number increases or the primary signals suffer multi-path fading.Simulation result verifies the effectiveness of the proposed method.
