Wollastonite, a mineral of wide industrial applications was synthesised from rice husk ash silica and limestone. A number of raw batches consisting of these starting materials, in 1:1 molar ratio, were heat treated to...Wollastonite, a mineral of wide industrial applications was synthesised from rice husk ash silica and limestone. A number of raw batches consisting of these starting materials, in 1:1 molar ratio, were heat treated to produce it through solid state reaction from 900℃ to 1300℃. The conducted reaction was monitored by XRD step by step. Amount of Wollastonite formed at every temperature was also studied to some extent. Analyses of the obtained data indicated that the target mineral formation was quite effective and almost proportional to a rise in temperature up to 1200℃. The results from both, XRD and chemical analysis were found in fair agreement with one another展开更多

The films were deposited on Si substrate with various thickness ratio of Nd/NdFeB layer (R=0～3.3)...The magnetic properties and microstructure of diffusion annealed [Ta/Nd/NdFeB/Nd/Ta]thin films have been investigated. The films were deposited on Si substrate with various thickness ratio of Nd/NdFeB layer (R=0～3.3), then diffused and crystallized by annealing at 650℃ for 10 min. The film without Nd layer showed soft magnetic behavior and high content of a-Fe phase. The films with R > =1 showed good hard magnetic properties with the high coercivity of about 20 kOe.展开更多
The China Geological Survey carried out 1：250000 regional geological surveys of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau from 1999 to 2005. With a total investment of 300 million yuan, more than 1000 geologists were involved annual...The China Geological Survey carried out 1：250000 regional geological surveys of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau from 1999 to 2005. With a total investment of 300 million yuan, more than 1000 geologists were involved annually to conduct mapping at a grid of one line to every four km along the Kunlun Mts-Altyn Shan-Tanggula Shah, Kokoxili-Qiangtang, Gangdese, Yalun Zangbu River, and finally to the Himalayan ranges. The extensive mapping culminated in a total of 112 maps covering an area of 152 square kilometers. Based on this success, the China Geological Survey launched another program, the ＂Integration and Comprehensive Study of Basic Geological Survey Result（s） in the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau＂. The program lasted from 2006 to 2010 and has yielded copious research results, making big strides in upgrading our understanding of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau. The achievements are manifold. Around 100 maps have been drafted, including the 1：1500000 geological map, tectonic, tectono-magmatic, metamorphic rocks, Precambrian geology, lithofacies palaeogeography, Cenozoic geology, geophysical-geochemical maps and others.展开更多
By means of density functional theory calculations, an orthogonal boron-carbon-nitrogen compound called （3,0）- BC2N is predicted, which can be obtained by transversely compressing （3,03 carbon nanotubes （CNTs） an...By means of density functional theory calculations, an orthogonal boron-carbon-nitrogen compound called （3,0）- BC2N is predicted, which can be obtained by transversely compressing （3,03 carbon nanotubes （CNTs） and boron nitride nanotubes （BNNTs）. Its structural stability, elastic properties, mechanical properties and electronic structure are systematically investigated. The results show that （3,0）-BU2N is a superhard material with a direct bandgap. However, its similar structures, （3,0）-C and （3,0）-BN are indirect semiconductors. Strikingly, （3,0）-C is harder than diamond. We also simulate the x-ray diffraction of （3,0）-BC2N to support future experimental investigations. In addition, our study shows that the transition from （3,03 CNTS and BNNTs to （3,0）-BC2N is irreversible.展开更多
The fracture toughness (KIC) values determined by indentation microfracture method (IM ) for SiC whisker reinforced Al2O3 and ZrO2 based composites were calculated with different IM equations and compared with those o...The fracture toughness (KIC) values determined by indentation microfracture method (IM ) for SiC whisker reinforced Al2O3 and ZrO2 based composites were calculated with different IM equations and compared with those obtained by singte edge notched beam (SENB) technique. Experimental results show that the KIC (IM) values calculated with different equations are quite different one from another. For composites without phase transformable components the KIC (IM) and KIC (SENB) values are practically on the same level, but for composites with phase transformable components (partially stabilized zirconia) the KIC (SENB) values are always higher than KIC (IM). This is because that the IM method can not reveal sensitively the toughening effect due to dynamic t-m transformation of ZrO2 as the SENB method does. The accuracy of the IM method depends on the Suitability of the IM equations and was evaluated for the materials used in this investigation. Two new IM equations are suggested with which the KIC (IM ) values can be obtained very close to KIC (SENB) values for composites having phase transformable components.展开更多

From SEM photos, we can see that the cross-linked film has a network form.From XPS spectra, we can see that the content of Si-C bond of the cross-linked film is lower thanthat of the transparent film, and this result agrees well with the test results of FTIR spectra. Thisproves that the c1eavage of the Si-C bond and C-H bond are the main cleavage in the formationof cross-linked film, whereas the cleavage of the Si-O is the main cleavage in the formation oftransparent film. In order to enhance the collision of the reactive particles and investigate theinfluence of magnetic field on the plasma polymerization, we introduced the magnetic field, as aresult, we got the grainy film.展开更多

Synthetic conditions of n-alkyl celluloses were studied with respect to reaction temperature, time and yield. The molecular structure of the n-alkyl celluloses, which were obtained as white powders or as sticky, soft and birefringent solids at room temperature, was investigated by IR and NMR spectra and elemental analysis. The highly substituted n-alkyl celluloses all exhibited both therotropic and lyotropic liquid crystalline cholesteric phases in some non-polar solvents. Stem cells play a crucial role in maintaining tissue regenerative capacity and homeostasis.However,mechanisms associated with stem cell senescence require further investigation.In this study,we conducted a proteomic a...Stem cells play a crucial role in maintaining tissue regenerative capacity and homeostasis.However,mechanisms associated with stem cell senescence require further investigation.In this study,we conducted a proteomic analysis of human dental pulp stem cells(HDPSCs)obtained from individuals of various ages.Our findings showed that the expression of NUP62 was decreased in aged HDPSCs.We discovered that NUP62 alleviated senescence-associated phenotypes and enhanced differentiation potential both in vitro and in vivo.Conversely,the knocking down of NUP62 expression aggravated the senescence-associated phenotypes and impaired the proliferation and migration capacity of HDPSCs.Through RNA-sequence and decoding the epigenomic landscapes remodeled induced by NUP62 overexpression,we found that NUP62 helps alleviate senescence in HDPSCs by enhancing the nuclear transport of the transcription factor E2F1.This,in turn,stimulates the transcription of the epigenetic enzyme NSD2.Finally,the overexpression of NUP62 influences the H3K36me2 and H3K36me3 modifications of anti-aging genes(HMGA1,HMGA2,and SIRT6).Our results demonstrated that NUP62 regulates the fate of HDPSCs via NSD2-dependent epigenetic reprogramming.展开更多
A large-amplitude standing-wave field of 182.1 dB is obtained under the excitation at the resonant frequency of the lst-order peak of the sound pressure transfer function in an improved standing-wave tube experimental...A large-amplitude standing-wave field of 182.1 dB is obtained under the excitation at the resonant frequency of the lst-order peak of the sound pressure transfer function in an improved standing-wave tube experimental system,and saturation of harmonics and waveform distortion are investigated experimentally for the large-amplitude standing-wave fields obtained under the excitations at the resonant frequencies of the 1 st-to the 5 th-order peaks.The results show that although the sound pressure level has reached 182.1 dB under the excitation at the resonant frequency of the 1 st-order peak,the waveform distortion is the minimum and the harmonic saturation is not observed.However,the large-amplitude standing-wave field excited at the resonant frequency of the 3 rd-order peak exhibits the trend of the harmonic saturation.Comparison of the large-amplitude standing-wave fields obtained under the excitations at valley resonant frequencies shows that the standing-wave field excited at the resonant frequency of the 1 st-order valley has the largest SPL,but also has the largest waveform distortion.Under the same source-driving voltage,the standing-wave field excited at the resonant frequency of the 1 st-order peak always has greater SPL than the standing-wave field excited at the resonant frequency of the 1 st-order valley.Hence,to obtain a large-amplitude standing-wave field,it’s better to excite at the resonant frequency of the 1 st-order peak of the SPTF by using loudspeaker in a standing-wave tube with uniform cross section.展开更多
Objective This study aimed to explore the mechanism of obtaining yang from yin in Yougui pill against aging based on network pharmacology and molecular docking technology.Methods The active components and targets of Y...Objective This study aimed to explore the mechanism of obtaining yang from yin in Yougui pill against aging based on network pharmacology and molecular docking technology.Methods The active components and targets of Yougui Pill were obtained by searching the Traditional Chinese Medicine Systems Pharmacology Database and Analysis Platform(TCMSP)database and the Bioinformatics Analysis Tool for Molecular mechANism of Traditional Chinese Medicine(BATMEN-TCM)database,and kidney deficiency syndrome-related targets were obtained in the Symptom Mapping(SymMap)Database,a traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)syndrome correlation database.The protein–protein interaction(PPI)network was constructed by using the STRING11.5 database.Then,we used CytoScape3.9.0 software to construct the network of TCM–active components–potential targets,and the core TCM components and core targets of Yougui Pill for the treatment of kidney deficiency were obtained.The function analysis of Gene Ontology(GO)and Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes(KEGG)signaling pathway enrichment analysis were performed in the Database for Annotation,Visualization,and Integrated Discovery(DAVID).Finally,preliminary verification was performed with the help of molecular docking technology.Results A total of 147 active components of 9 drugs of Yougui Pill(Fuzi[Aconiti Lateralis Radix Praeparata],Shudihaung[Rehmanniae Radix Praeparata],Gouqi[Lycii Fructus],Shanyao[Rhizoma Dioscoreae],Shanzhuyu[Corni Fructus],Tusizi[Cuscutae Semen],Danggui[Angelicae Sinensis Radix],Duzhong[Eucommiae Cortex],Lujiaojiao[Cervi Cornus Colla])were obtained,corresponding to 233 targets.A total of 2,235targets related to kidney deficiency syndrome and 43 potential therapeutic targets were obtained after the intersection.The core TCM components mainly included quercetin,kaempferol,diosgenin,β-carotene,etc.The core targets involved Trp53(Tp53),Akt1,Pparg,Nr3c1,App,Casp8,Mapk1,Cav1,and Ctnnb1.A total of 27biological processes,10 cellular components,and 11 molecular functions were obtained by gene function enrichment analysis,mainly related to the regulation of gene expression,cell apoptosis and proliferation,and the response to estrogen.A total of 51 KEGG signaling pathways,mainly involving a variety of cancer pathways,apoptosis pathways,longevity regulation pathways,etc.Conclusion Yougui Pill can play a role in preventing and treating kidney deficiency syndrome through multiple targets and pathways.展开更多

文摘Objective This study aimed to explore the mechanism of obtaining yang from yin in Yougui pill against aging based on network pharmacology and molecular docking technology.Methods The active components and targets of Yougui Pill were obtained by searching the Traditional Chinese Medicine Systems Pharmacology Database and Analysis Platform(TCMSP)database and the Bioinformatics Analysis Tool for Molecular mechANism of Traditional Chinese Medicine(BATMEN-TCM)database,and kidney deficiency syndrome-related targets were obtained in the Symptom Mapping(SymMap)Database,a traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)syndrome correlation database.The protein–protein interaction(PPI)network was constructed by using the STRING11.5 database.Then,we used CytoScape3.9.0 software to construct the network of TCM–active components–potential targets,and the core TCM components and core targets of Yougui Pill for the treatment of kidney deficiency were obtained.The function analysis of Gene Ontology(GO)and Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes(KEGG)signaling pathway enrichment analysis were performed in the Database for Annotation,Visualization,and Integrated Discovery(DAVID).Finally,preliminary verification was performed with the help of molecular docking technology.Results A total of 147 active components of 9 drugs of Yougui Pill(Fuzi[Aconiti Lateralis Radix Praeparata],Shudihaung[Rehmanniae Radix Praeparata],Gouqi[Lycii Fructus],Shanyao[Rhizoma Dioscoreae],Shanzhuyu[Corni Fructus],Tusizi[Cuscutae Semen],Danggui[Angelicae Sinensis Radix],Duzhong[Eucommiae Cortex],Lujiaojiao[Cervi Cornus Colla])were obtained,corresponding to 233 targets.A total of 2,235targets related to kidney deficiency syndrome and 43 potential therapeutic targets were obtained after the intersection.The core TCM components mainly included quercetin,kaempferol,diosgenin,β-carotene,etc.The core targets involved Trp53(Tp53),Akt1,Pparg,Nr3c1,App,Casp8,Mapk1,Cav1,and Ctnnb1.A total of 27biological processes,10 cellular components,and 11 molecular functions were obtained by gene function enrichment analysis,mainly related to the regulation of gene expression,cell apoptosis and proliferation,and the response to estrogen.A total of 51 KEGG signaling pathways,mainly involving a variety of cancer pathways,apoptosis pathways,longevity regulation pathways,etc.Conclusion Yougui Pill can play a role in preventing and treating kidney deficiency syndrome through multiple targets and pathways.
