With the rapid development of the internet,the dissemination of public opinion in online social networks has become increasingly complex.Existing dissemination models rarely consider group phenomena and the simultaneo...With the rapid development of the internet,the dissemination of public opinion in online social networks has become increasingly complex.Existing dissemination models rarely consider group phenomena and the simultaneous spread of competing public opinion information in online social networks.This paper introduces the UHNPR information dissemination model to study the dynamic spread and interaction of positive and negative public opinion information in hypernetworks.To improve the accuracy of modeling of information dissemination,we revise the traditional assumptions of constant propagation and decay rates by redefining these rates based on factors that influence the spread of public opinion information.Subsequently,we validate the effectiveness of the UHNPR model using numerical simulations and analyze the impact of factors such as authority effect,user intimacy,information content and information timeliness on the spread of public opinion,providing corresponding suggestions for public opinion control.Our research results demonstrate that this model outperforms the SIR,SEIR and SEIDR models in describing public opinion propagation in real social networks.Compared with complex networks,information spreads faster and more extensively in hypernetworks.展开更多

Objective:Robot-assisted simple prostatectomy(RASP)is increasingly used as a surgical treatment option for large benign prostatic hyperplasia(BPH)(>80 mL).However,there is no sufficient expert consensus or guidelin...Objective:Robot-assisted simple prostatectomy(RASP)is increasingly used as a surgical treatment option for large benign prostatic hyperplasia(BPH)(>80 mL).However,there is no sufficient expert consensus or guidelines to guide clinical practice.We aimed to obtain expert opinions for RASP for large BPH.Methods:A systematic review of the literature was performed in April 2024 using the PubMed,Embase,and Web of Science databases.Search terms were combined to construct the following search strings:(robotic)AND(simple OR benign)AND(prostatectomy).Search results were filtered by language(English only),species(human),and publication type(original article).This study used a two-phase modified Delphi approach.Results:In this expert consensus,some frequently used RASP techniques,including robot-assisted retropubic prostatectomy,robot-assisted transvesical prostatectomy,and robot-assisted urethra-sparing prostatectomy,are described.RASP offers a short learning curve for surgeons with experience in robotic surgery.Severe complications are rare in patients who undergo RASP.Conclusion:RASP technique can be recommended as a safe and effective minimally invasive treatment for symptomatic BPH patients with large prostate glands.展开更多

This study investigates the significance of e-commerce consumer opinions regarding value in China’s A-share market.By analyzing a large dataset comprising over 18 million online consumer reviews on JD.com,we demonstr...This study investigates the significance of e-commerce consumer opinions regarding value in China’s A-share market.By analyzing a large dataset comprising over 18 million online consumer reviews on JD.com,we demonstrate that sentiments expressed in e-commerce reviews can influence stock returns.This indicates that consumer opinions on the e-commerce platform contain valuable information that can impact the stock market.Our findings show that Consumer Negative Sentiment Tendency(CNST)and One-Star Tendency(OST)have a negative effect on expected stock returns,even after controlling for firm characteristics such as market risk,illiquidity,idiosyncratic volatility,and asset growth.Further analysis indicates that CNST demonstrates stronger predictive power within the home appliance industry,under high sentiment conditions,in growth companies,and among firms with lower accounting transparency.We also find that CNST negatively predicts revenue surprises,earnings surprises,and cash flow shocks.These results suggest that consumer opinions and sentiments derived from e-commerce reviews highlight firms’intrinsic worth and prospects.Future research could explore how firms,including suppliers and logistics companies,can leverage the information conveyed by consumer opinions on e-commerce platforms.展开更多

A fundamental aspect of society is the exchange and discussion of opinions between individuals, occurring in situations as varied as company boardrooms, elementary school classrooms and online social media. After a ve...A fundamental aspect of society is the exchange and discussion of opinions between individuals, occurring in situations as varied as company boardrooms, elementary school classrooms and online social media. After a very brief introduction to the established results of the most fundamental opinion dynamics models, which seek to mathematically capture observed social phenomena, a brief discussion follows on several recent themes pursued by the authors building on the fundamental ideas. In the first theme, we study the way an individual′s self-confidence can develop through contributing to discussions on a sequence of topics, reaching a consensus in each case,where the consensus value to some degree reflects the contribution of that individual to the conclusion. During this process, the individuals in the network and the way they interact can change. The second theme introduces a novel discrete-time model of opinion dynamics to study how discrepancies between an individual′s expressed and private opinions can arise due to stubbornness and a pressure to conform to a social norm. It is also shown that a few extremists can create "pluralistic ignorance", where people believe there is majority support for a position but in fact the position is privately rejected by the majority. Last, we consider a group of individuals discussing a collection of logically related topics. In particular, we identify that for topics whose logical interdependencies take on a cascade structure,disagreement in opinions can occur if individuals have competing and/or heterogeneous views on how the topics are related, i.e., the logical interdependence structure varies between individuals.展开更多
In view of the fact that news can generate derivative topics when it spreads through micro-blogs,a two-layer coupled SEIR public opinion propagation model is proposed in this paper.The model divides the process of pub...In view of the fact that news can generate derivative topics when it spreads through micro-blogs,a two-layer coupled SEIR public opinion propagation model is proposed in this paper.The model divides the process of public opinion propagation into two layers:the original topic layer and the derived topic layer.Messages are transmitted separately by the SEIR model in the two topic layers,which are independent and interactive.The influence of the topic derivation rate on the propagation trend is established by solving for the equilibrium point and propagation threshold.Further,we establish the relationship between the original topic and the derived topic by simulation.This paper uses the Baidu index to demonstrate the correctness of the model.The relationship between the derived topic and the original topic is verified by adjusting the parameters by the control variable method.The results show that the proposed model is consistent with the propagation of actual public opinion.展开更多

文摘A fundamental aspect of society is the exchange and discussion of opinions between individuals, occurring in situations as varied as company boardrooms, elementary school classrooms and online social media. After a very brief introduction to the established results of the most fundamental opinion dynamics models, which seek to mathematically capture observed social phenomena, a brief discussion follows on several recent themes pursued by the authors building on the fundamental ideas. In the first theme, we study the way an individual′s self-confidence can develop through contributing to discussions on a sequence of topics, reaching a consensus in each case,where the consensus value to some degree reflects the contribution of that individual to the conclusion. During this process, the individuals in the network and the way they interact can change. The second theme introduces a novel discrete-time model of opinion dynamics to study how discrepancies between an individual′s expressed and private opinions can arise due to stubbornness and a pressure to conform to a social norm. It is also shown that a few extremists can create "pluralistic ignorance", where people believe there is majority support for a position but in fact the position is privately rejected by the majority. Last, we consider a group of individuals discussing a collection of logically related topics. In particular, we identify that for topics whose logical interdependencies take on a cascade structure,disagreement in opinions can occur if individuals have competing and/or heterogeneous views on how the topics are related, i.e., the logical interdependence structure varies between individuals.

文摘In view of the fact that news can generate derivative topics when it spreads through micro-blogs,a two-layer coupled SEIR public opinion propagation model is proposed in this paper.The model divides the process of public opinion propagation into two layers:the original topic layer and the derived topic layer.Messages are transmitted separately by the SEIR model in the two topic layers,which are independent and interactive.The influence of the topic derivation rate on the propagation trend is established by solving for the equilibrium point and propagation threshold.Further,we establish the relationship between the original topic and the derived topic by simulation.This paper uses the Baidu index to demonstrate the correctness of the model.The relationship between the derived topic and the original topic is verified by adjusting the parameters by the control variable method.The results show that the proposed model is consistent with the propagation of actual public opinion.
文摘采用语料库对比研究方法,对中国大学生使用in my opinion词块的情况进行分析。研究结果表明:(1)中国大学生在英语写作中使用in my opinion词块的频率高于英语本族语者;(2)中国大学生与英语本族语者在书面语中使用in my opinion词块存在显著差异;(3)英语专业学生与非英语专业学生对in my opinion词块的使用存在差异,非英语专业学生in my opinion词块的使用频率高于英语专业学生。文章从学习者英语词块知识的深度和广度,词块运用能力,学习者语言回避等方面分析了引起学习者过度使用in my opinion词块的原因。研究结果对大学英语教学有一定启示作用。
文摘In this paper, we investigate the regularity of spreading of information and public opinions towards two competing products in complex networks. By building its mathematical model and simulating its evolution process, we have found the statistical regularity for support rates of two different products at a steady stage. The research shows that strength of the public opinion spreading is proportional to the final support rates of a product.

文摘Many phenomena show that in a favorable circumstance an agent still has an updating possibility, and in an unfavor- able circumstance an agent also has a possibility of holding its own state and reselecting its neighbors. To describe this kind of phenomena an Ising model on evolution networks was presented and used for consensus formation and separation of opinion groups in human population. In this model the state-holding probability p and selection-rewiring probability q were introduced. The influence of this mixed dynamics of spin flips and network rewiring on the ordering behavior of the model was investigated, p hinders ordering of opinion networks and q accelerates the dynamical process of networks. Influence of q on the ordering and separating stems from its effect on average path length of networks.

文摘Opinion dynamics is an opinion evolution process of a group of agents,where the final opinion distribution tends to three stable states:consensus,polarization,and fragmentation.At present,the opinion dynamics models have been extensively studied in differrent fields.This paper provides a review of opinion dynamics in finance and business,such as,finance,marketing,e-commerce,politics,and group decision making.Furthermore,identified research challenges have been proposed to promote the future research of this topic.
