Looking at the two poems of Nuala Ni Dhomhnaill,the paper suggests that this Irish women poet is subverting tradition and destabilizing a conventionally accepted fusion of the feminine with the nation. This is achieved through direct challenge,through dislocation and through establishing a dialogue between the mythical and the real in the context of the lived experience of women in Ireland,which suggests the great effects for civil and social activities which have been done by these great women poets who engage consciously in the process of giv-ing women an active voice.展开更多
