The results are expressed in terms of Meijer's Gfunction, which can be easily evaluated numerically. The simulation results are presented to validate the proposed theoretical analysis and to examine the effects of the fading severity on the concerned quantities.展开更多

Although the model information of MASs is coarse, the leader-following consensus is still pursued, with a prescribed performance and zero consensus errors. Leveraging a powerful funnel control strategy, a fully distributed and completely relative-state-dependent protocol is designed. Distinctively, the time-varying function characterizing the performance boundary is introduced, not only to construct the funnel gains but also as an indispensable part of the protocol, enhancing the control ability and enabling the consensus errors to converge to zero(rather than a residual set). Remark that when control directions are unknown, coexisting with inherent system nonlinearities, it is essential to incorporate an additional compensation mechanism while imposing a hierarchical structure of communication topology for the control design and analysis. Simulation examples are given to illustrate the effectiveness of the theoretical results.展开更多

The fault-tolerant controller realizes the pre-specified performance output regulation through error transformation and the Nussbaum function. It should be pointed out that there are no chattering caused by the jump of the Nussbaum function when a reverse fault occurs. In addition, to provide a basis for further solving the problem of physical malfunctions, a fault direction identification algorithm is proposed to accurately identify whether a reverse fault has occurred. Simulation results verify the effectiveness of the proposed control and fault direction identification strategies when the reverse faults occur.展开更多

A set of controllers are designed such that the considered system can be finite-timely synchronized onto the target node. Based on the stability of the error equation, the Lyapunov function method and the linear matrix inequality technique, several sufficient conditions are derived to ensure the finite-time synchronization, and applied to the case of identical nodes and tlie one without uncertain disturbance. Also the adaptive finite-time synchronization is discussed. A numerical example is given to show the effectiveness of the main results obtained.展开更多

Such a differential-geometrical structure describes a physical structure, namely, a pseudostructure on which conservation laws are fulfilled (A closed dual form describes a pseudostructure. And a closed exterior form, as it is known, describes a conservative quantity, since the differential of closed form is equal to zero). It has been shown that closed inexact exterior forms, which describe physical structures, are obtained from the equations of mathematical physics. This process proceeds spontaneously under realization of any degrees of freedom of the material medium described. Such a process describes an emergence of physical structures and this is accompanied by an appearance of observed formations such as fluctuations, waves, turbulent pulsations and so on.展开更多

I hold that there are two aspects of the dialectic of life within the context of Adorno's nonidentityOne involves exploring the false identification, due to the reification of modem society, of the individual's life experience with her or his death experience, while the other involves preserving the dialectical and irreducible tension between the theoretical contemplation of life and of historical conditions, as well as specific social systems. Heidegger's ontological philosophy concerning Dasein and Kant's categorical imperative will also be discussed in order to fully understand Adorno's moral philosophy and his idea of nonidentity. From my point of view, Adomo's moral philosophy is the prime motivator of his unique concept of nonidentity, and has influenced contemporary political philosophical concepts such as biopolitics (cf. G. Agamben).展开更多
