The effect of Ce on the oxidation behaviour of undoped and B-doped Ni3 Al has been studied. Ce can refine Al2O3 grains produced in the course of oxidation of polycrystalline Ni3Al, accelerate the diffusion of oxygen along Al2O3 grain boundaries,and promote the growth of Al2O3 grains. As a result, the quantity of less-protective NiO decreases. The oxidation resistance of 0.011% Ce-doped alloy is the best of all Ce-doped Ni3Al alloys. Because B is benefitial to the formation of Al2O3 and Ce can refine Al2O3 grains, the oxidation resistance of the alloy containing both B and Ce is the best. 展开更多

The stress rupture property under 1100°C/80MPa is increased by adding proper amounts of yttrium, howevef it decreases bg adding 0.3wt% silicon and 0. 1wt% yttrium at the same time, which may be attributed to the formation of a needle like phase rich in nickel and molybdenum. 展开更多

The effect of boron content(0 to 2.22 at.-% )on isothermal oxidation behaviour of Ni_3Al at 750 to 1150℃ for 3 to 100 h has been studied.The results show that the isothermal oxidation kinetics of Ni_3Al with various B contents at different temperatures obeys the parabolic law. The compounds with 0.52 to 1.37 at.-%B show the best oxidation resistance.The morphology and microstructure of the scales have also been investigated. 展开更多

An additive of Y to Ni_3Al based alloy may form a phase YNi_5 which increases in amount with the increase of Y content.It was found that the YNi_5 phase in Ni_3Al alloy could remarkably make its grains finer and its grain boundaries more crooked other than straight.If the Y con- tent≥0.1 wt-%,it occurs as solid solution state and is favorable to high temperature compressive properties and oxidation resistance of the alloy.While Y≥0.3 wt-%,the forma- tion of YNi_5 is predominant in the shape of irregular strips inside Ni_3Al grains and along their grain boundaries.This seems to be quite harmful to high temperature strength,ductility and oxidation resistance of the alloy. 展开更多

In this study,the cyclic oxidation tests of the Ni3Al-based single-crystal super alloy IC21 were carried out at 800,900,950,1000,1050 and 1100℃in air.The present study shows that the complex oxide scale on the surface of the alloy is made up of an outer columnar NiO layer,an intermediate mixture of NiO and NiAl2O4layer with a small amount of Mo oxides and an inner continuous layer ofα-Al_(2)O_(3).The cyclic oxidation kinetics curves show that oxidation resistance at 800,900,950,1000 and1050℃seems to follow a similar law and is better than that at 1100℃.The overall weight changes at 1100℃follows a parabolic law.Spallation and severe rumpling of the oxide scale are observed on the surface of the alloy at1100℃,revealing the occurrence of disastrous oxidation. 展开更多

针对航空用途的铝合金耐磨性差的问题,利用等离子体电解氧化(PEO)技术在Al-Zn-Mg-Y合金表面形成陶瓷涂层,研究电解液中Ce(NO_(3))_(3)掺杂量对铝合金PEO涂层性能的影响。利用XRD、SEM、金相显微镜、共聚焦显微镜和摩擦磨损试验机等仪器... 针对航空用途的铝合金耐磨性差的问题,利用等离子体电解氧化(PEO)技术在Al-Zn-Mg-Y合金表面形成陶瓷涂层,研究电解液中Ce(NO_(3))_(3)掺杂量对铝合金PEO涂层性能的影响。利用XRD、SEM、金相显微镜、共聚焦显微镜和摩擦磨损试验机等仪器对铝合金PEO涂层的相组成、金相组织、表面形貌、显微硬度、摩擦因数等参数进行表征。研究结果表明,Al-Zn-Mg-Y合金表面的PEO涂层主要由α-Al_(2)O_(3)和γ-Al_(2)O_(3)两相构成,随着Ce(NO3)3掺杂量增加,α-Al_(2)O_(3)相衍射峰增强,α-Al_(2)O_(3)相比例含量增加。掺杂Ce(NO_(3))_(3)后获得的PEO涂层覆盖较为均匀。在基础电解液中制备的PEO涂层,表面存在“火山口”状的放电微孔通道。增加Ce(NO_(3))_(3)掺杂量,则涂层中放电微孔通道尺寸减小。当Ce(NO_(3))_(3)掺杂量过高时,涂层表面出现腐蚀坑和少量微裂纹。随着Ce(NO_(3))_(3)掺杂量增加,PEO涂层的显微硬度呈现先增加后降低的趋势,在Ce(NO_(3))_(3)掺杂量为0.39%时出现最大值,约为335.8 HV1。掺杂适量的Ce(NO_(3))_(3)能够提高涂层的致密性,但过高Ce(NO_(3))_(3)掺杂量下,PEO涂层的摩擦因数增加,表面粗糙度增加。 展开更多

以纯镍、纯铝、纯铌、纯碳和18Al-82V中间合金为原料,采用真空熔炼方法制备出Ni_(3)Al-Ni_(3)V-V_(2)C-AlCV_(2)复合材料,研究了复合材料的微观结构、硬度以及在不同气氛(大气、氧气和二氧化碳)中的摩擦磨损性能和磨损机理,并与Ni_(3)Al... 以纯镍、纯铝、纯铌、纯碳和18Al-82V中间合金为原料,采用真空熔炼方法制备出Ni_(3)Al-Ni_(3)V-V_(2)C-AlCV_(2)复合材料,研究了复合材料的微观结构、硬度以及在不同气氛(大气、氧气和二氧化碳)中的摩擦磨损性能和磨损机理,并与Ni_(3)Al-Ni_(3)V合金进行对比。结果表明:复合材料由块状Ni_(3)Al相和网状Ni_(3)Al+Ni_(3)V基体相以及原位内生V_(2)C相、AlCV_(2)相构成;一部分碳和铌固溶于Ni_(3)Al相和Ni_(3)V相中起到固溶强化作用,另一部分碳与钒、铝生成V_(2)C相和AlCV_(2)相起到弥散强化作用,使得复合材料的硬度(550 HV)高于Ni_(3)Al-Ni_(3)V合金(509 HV);在大气气氛中复合材料的平均摩擦因数和磨损率均低于Ni_(3)Al-Ni_(3)V合金,复合材料的磨损率在二氧化碳气氛中最大,大气气氛中次之,氧气气氛中最小;在大气和氧气气氛中复合材料磨损表面的硬度相似,分别为706,711 HV,均高于在二氧化碳气氛中(670 HV);复合材料在氧气气氛中的磨损机制主要为氧化磨损,在大气气氛中主要为氧化磨损和环境致脆诱导的疲劳磨损,在二氧化碳气氛中主要为黏着磨损和磨粒磨损。 展开更多

Research work and recent progress made toward the industrial applications of the Ni_3Al in CISRI are discussed in present paper. The development of a Ni_3Al base alloy named MX-246 hardened by carbides and fine dispersion of disordered γ is summaried. This alloy,with higher peak temperature of yield strength and higher strain hardening rate than alloyIC-218,has been successfully used as the material of rolling guider at elevated temperatures and in wear conditions. The Ni3Al base alloy of GH264 has been made into welding electrodes by horizontal continuous casting process, and recently successfully surfacing welded on hydraulic blades as cavitation erosion resistance material. The process of remelting Ni3Al base alloy in air was also developed. The processes of producing welding electrodes and remelting in air set the base of industrial applications of Ni3Al in welding, repairing and casting in mass production and into components of large size. Another application of the compound, manufacturing the jet engine rivets used at about 1300℃ , can be attributed to its excellent oxidation resistance and still keeping high strength up to the melting point. 展开更多
