This paper takes new consumption phenomena in the digital media-dominated ...Most of the existing literature on the emergence of new consumption and its essence is based on the discussion of micro consumption phenomena. This paper takes new consumption phenomena in the digital media-dominated polymedia environment as the object of study to review the theoretical history of “mediatization,” and explores new consumption’s emergence, essence, and related issues systematically through deductive reasoning. More specifically, this paper is to first interpret the mediatization theory and then analyze two dimensions(i.e., the formation of mediatized consumption and the resultant reinvention of practice rules) from the perspective of media affordances. On this basis, we conclude mediatized consumption’s essence, forms, and practice rules. This study indicates that new consumption is essentially mediatized consumption, which concerns “media-shaped consumption” and “consumption-shaped media,” and that new consumption has two representations;consumption-oriented media and banal consumption. Media affordances make new consumption fields human-oriented, connecting “people” and “things,” and are becoming a major contributor to the formation of mediatized consumption. Thus, the practice rules concerning “people, goods, and fields” in the new consumption sector are reinvented;the social interactions in the “middle region” are highlighted;the imaginative, narrative, and social characteristics of goods are emphasized;and the cross-field integration of consumption is realized.展开更多

It is a practical approach to use the guaranteed rate with statistical characteristics to analyze the output coefficient of new energy. However, there is a lack of analysis and demonstration on the value of the new energy output guaranteed rate. To solve this problem, a selection method for the new energy output guaranteed rate considering optimal energy storage configuration is proposed. First, the influence of the new energy output guaranteed rate on the new energy output coefficient is analyzed. Secondly, with the goal of minimizing the comprehensive costs, an optimal configuration model of energy storage based on the output guaranteed rate of new energy is constructed, and particle swarm optimization is used for the optimization solution. Under the carbon peaking and carbon neutrality goals,the aluminum electrolysis industry faces significant challenges in energy conservation,carbon reduction,and environmental protection.Utilizing new energy electricit...Under the carbon peaking and carbon neutrality goals,the aluminum electrolysis industry faces significant challenges in energy conservation,carbon reduction,and environmental protection.Utilizing new energy electricity is one of the most effective ways to reduce carbon emissions in primary aluminum production.This paper addresses the issue of uncontrolled thermal balance in electrolysis cells caused by large fluctuations in current during the absorption of new energy electricity.A multi-field solidification model of the electric-thermal-flow facing the side-controlled heat dissipation structure is constructed.The study investigates the impact of large current fluctuations,heat exchanger structure and different process parameters on the temperature field and the ledge shape of the electrolysis cell.The optimum process and corresponding heat dissipation structure of electrolysis cell under current fluctuations are summarized to provide theoretical guidance for aluminum electrolysis cells in absorbing fluctuating new energy electricity.The results indicate that the aluminum electrolysis cell with controlled heat exchange with standard rectangular carbon blocks,high-insulation irregular carbon blocks(inner lining type 2),and heat-conducting protrusions with a thermal conductivity of 120 W·m^(-1)·K^(−1) can effectively absorb current fluctuations ranging from−20%to+20%within a short period under collaborative control of side thermal regulation and processes.However,when maintaining a+20%current for prolonged periods,the cell may still experience uncontrolled thermal balance.展开更多
