文摘Space-division multiplexing(SDM)utilizing uncoupled multi-core fibers(MCF)is considered a promising candidate for nextgeneration high-speed optical transmission systems due to its huge capacity and low inter-core crosstalk. In this paper,we demonstrate a realtime high-speed SDM transmission system over a field-deployed 7-core MCF cable using commercial 400 Gbit/s backbone optical transport network(OTN)transceivers and a network management system. The transceivers employ a high noise-tolerant quadrature phase shift keying(QPSK)modulation format with a 130 Gbaud rate, enabled by optoelectronic multi-chip module(OE-MCM)packaging.The network management system can effectively manage and monitor the performance of the 7-core SDM OTN system and promptly report failure events through alarms. Our field trial demonstrates the compatibility of uncoupled MCF with high-speed OTN transmission equipment and network management systems, supporting its future deployment in next-generation high-speed terrestrial cable transmission networks.

文摘The advent of sixth-generation(6G)networks introduces unprecedented challenges in achieving seamless connectivity,ultra-low latency, and efficient resource management in highly dynamic environments.Although fifth-generation(5G)networks transformed mobile broadband and machine-type communications at massive scales, their properties of scaling, interference management, and latency remain a limitation in dense high mobility settings. To overcome these limitations, artificial intelligence(AI)and unmanned aerial vehicles(UAVs)have emerged as potential solutions to develop versatile, dynamic, and energy-efficient communication systems. The study proposes an AI-based UAV architecture that utilizes cooperative reinforcement learning(CoRL)to manage an autonomous network. The UAVs collaborate by sharing local observations and real-time state exchanges to optimize user connectivity, movement directions, allocate power, and resource distribution.Unlike conventional centralized or autonomous methods,CoRL involves joint state sharing and conflict-sensitive reward shaping, which ensures fair coverage, less interference, and enhanced adaptability in a dynamic urban environment.Simulations conducted in smart city scenarios with 10 UAVs and 50 ground users demonstrate that the proposed CoRL-based UAV system increases user coverage by up to 10%,achieves convergence 40%faster,and reduces latency and energy consumption by 30%compared with centralized and decentralized baselines.Furthermore, the distributed nature of the algorithm ensures scalability and flexibility, making it well-suited for future large-scale 6G deployments. The results highlighted that AI-enabled UAV systems enhance connectivity, support ultra-reliable low-latency communications(URLLC),and improve 6G network efficiency.Future work will extend the framework with adaptive modulation,beamforming-aware positioning, and real-world testbed deployment.
文摘Cyber-Physical Systems integrated with information technologies introduce vulnerabilities that extend beyond traditional cyber threats.Attackers can non-invasively manipulate sensors and spoof controllers, which in turn increases the autonomy of the system.Even though the focus on protecting against sensor attacks increases, there is still uncertainty about the optimal timing for attack detection.Existing systems often struggle to manage the trade-off between latency and false alarm rate, leading to inefficiencies in real-time anomaly detection. This paper presents a framework designed to monitor, predict, and control dynamic systems with a particular emphasis on detecting and adapting to changes, including anomalies such as“drift”and“attack”.The proposed algorithm integrates a Transformer-based Attention Generative Adversarial Residual model, which combines the strengths of generative adversarial networks, residual networks, and attention algorithms. The system operates in two phases:offline and online.During the offline phase, the proposed model is trained to learn complex patterns, enabling robust anomaly detection. The online phase applies a trained model, where the drift adapter adjusts the model to handle data changes, and the attack detector identifies deviations by comparing predicted and actual values.Based on the output of the attack detector, the controller makes decisions then the actuator executes suitable actions. Finally, the experimental findings show that the proposed model balances detection accuracy of 99.25%,precision of 98.84%,sensitivity of 99.10%,specificity of 98.81%,and an F1-score of 98.96%,thus provides an effective solution for dynamic and safety-critical environments.

文摘Accurate prediction of hydraulic fracture propagation is vital for Enhanced Geothermal System(EGS)design. We study the first hydraulic fracturing job at the GR1 well in the Gonghe Basin using field data, where the overall direction of hydraulic fractures does not show a delineated shape parallel to the maximum principal stress orientation.A field-scale numerical model based on the distinct element method is set up to carry out a fully coupled hydromechanical simulation, with the explicit representation of natural fractures via the discrete fracture network(DFN)approach. The effects of injection parameters and in situ stress on hydraulic fracture patterns are then quantitatively assessed. The study reveals that shear-induced deformation primarily governs the fracturing morphology in the GR1 well, driven by smaller injection rates and viscosities that promote massive activation of natural fractures, ultimately dominating the direction of hydraulic fracturing.Furthermore, the increase of in situ differential stress may promote shear damage of natural fracture surfaces, with the exact influence pattern depending on the combination of specific discontinuity properties and in situ stress state. Finally,we provide recommendations for EGS fracturing based on the influence characteristics of multiple parameters. This study can serve as an effective basis and reference for the design and optimization of EGS in the Gonghe basin and other sites.

文摘The integration of cloud computing into traditional industrial control systems is accelerating the evolution of Industrial Cyber-Physical System(ICPS),enhancing intelligence and autonomy. However, this transition also expands the attack surface, introducing critical security vulnerabilities. To address these challenges, this article proposes a hybrid intrusion detection scheme for securing ICPSs that combines system state anomaly and network traffic anomaly detection.Specifically,an improved variation-Bayesian-based noise covariance-adaptive nonlinear Kalman filtering(IVB-NCA-NLKF)method is developed to model nonlinear system dynamics, enabling optimal state estimation in multi-sensor ICPS environments.Intrusions within the physical sensing system are identified by analyzing residual discrepancies between predicted and observed system states.Simultaneously,an adaptive network traffic anomaly detection mechanism is introduced, leveraging learned traffic patterns to detect node-and network-level anomalies through pattern matching.Extensive experiments on a simulated network control system demonstrate that the proposed framework achieves higher detection accuracy(92.14%)with a reduced false alarm rate(0.81%).Moreover,it not only detects known attacks and vulnerabilities but also uncovers stealthy attacks that induce system state deviations, providing a robust and comprehensive security solution for the safety protection of ICPS.
文摘A Reconfigurable Intelligent Surface(RIS)can relay signals from the transmitter to the receiver. In this regard,RISs operate similarly to traditional relays. We design a Multiple-Input-Multiple-Output(MIMO)system with a hybrid network of RIS and Half-Duplex(HD)Amplify-and-Forward(AF)relay.We model the system’s signal propagation and propose a new algorithm to get the system’s Achievable Rate(AR)value. We complete simulations to evaluate the performance of the RIS and HD-AF relay hybrid network system compared to the system assisted by either the RIS or HD-AF relay. The simulations indicate that many factors can considerably influence the system performance.Selecting an optimal placement for the RIS and relay can result in the best performance for the RIS and HD-AF relay hybrid network system in situations where the direct link between the receiver and transmitter is absent.

文摘This paper proposes a model-based control framework for vehicle platooning systems with secondorder nonlinear dynamics operating over switching signed networks,time-varying delays, and deception attacks. The study includes two configurations:a leaderless structure using Finite-Time Non-Singular Terminal Bipartite Consensus(FNTBC)and Fixed-Time Bipartite Consensus(FXTBC),and a leader—follower structure ensuring structural balance and robustness against deceptive signals. In the leaderless model,a bipartite controller based on impulsive control theory, gauge transformation, and Markovian switching Lyapunov functions ensures mean-square stability and coordination under deception attacks and communication delays. The FNTBC achieves finite-time convergence depending on initial conditions, while the FXTBC guarantees fixed-time convergence independent of them, providing adaptability to different operating states. In the leader—follower case,a discontinuous impulsive control law synchronizes all followers with the leader despite deceptive attacks and switching topologies, maintaining robust coordination through nonlinear corrective mechanisms. To validate the approach, simulations are conducted on systems of five and seventeen vehicles in both leaderless and leader—follower configurations. The results demonstrate that the proposed framework achieves rapid consensus, strong robustness, and high resistance to deception attacks, offering a secure and scalable model-based control solution for modern vehicular communication networks.

文摘Quantum optimal control(QOC)relies on accurately modeling system dynamics and is often challenged by unknown or inaccessible interactions in real systems.Taking an unknown collective spin system as an example, this work introduces a machine-learning-based,data-driven scheme to overcome the challenges encountered, with a trained neural network(NN)assuming the role of a surrogate model that captures the system’s dynamics and subsequently enables QOC to be performed on the NN instead of on the real system. The trained NN surrogate proves effective for practical QOC tasks and is further demonstrated to be adaptable to different experimental conditions, remaining robust across varying system sizes and pulse durations.

文摘In Power Line Communications(PLC),there are regulatory masks that restrict the transmit power spectral density for electromagnetic compatibility reasons, which creates coverage issues despite the not too long distances.Hence,PLC networks often employ repeaters/relays,especially in smart grid neighborhood area networks.Even in broadband indoor PLC systems that offer a notable data rate, relaying may pave the way to new applications like being the backbone for wireless technologies in a cost-effective manner to support the Internet-of-things paradigm. In this paper,we study Multiple-Input Multiple-Output(MIMO)PLC systems that incorporate inband full-duplex functionality in relaying networks. We present several MIMO configurations that allow end-to-end half-duplex or full-duplex operations and analyze the achievable performance with state-of-the-art PLC systems. To reach this analysis,we get channel realizations from random network layouts for indoor and outdoor scenarios. We adopt realistic MIMO channel and noise models and consider transmission techniques according to PLC standards. The concepts discussed in this work can be useful in the design of future PLC relay-aided networks for different applications that look for a coverage extension and/or throughput:smart grids with enhanced communications in outdoor scenarios, and“last meter”systems for high-speed connections everywhere in indoor ones.
