Our resu...With a three-dimensional semiclassical ensemble method, we theoretically investigated the nonsequential double ionization of Ar driven by the spatially inhomogeneous few-cycle negatively chirped laser pulses. Our results show that the recollision time window can be precisely controlled within an isolated time interval of several hundred attoseconds, which is useful for understanding the subcycle correlated electron dynamics. More interestingly, the correlated electron momentum distribution (CEMD) exhibits a strong dependence on laser intensity. That is, at lower laser intensity, CEMD is located in the first quadrant. As the laser intensity increases,CEMD shifts almost completely to the second and fourth quadrants, and then gradually to the third quadrant.The underlying physics governing the CEMD's dependence on laser intensity is explained.展开更多

Its role in osteoblastic differentiation and bone formation is unknown. Here we demonstrate that RANK is expressed at an early stage of bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells(BMSCs) during osteogenic differentiation in both mice and human and decreased rapidly. RANKL signaling inhibits osteogenesis by promoting β-catenin degradation and inhibiting its synthesis. In contrast, RANKL signaling has no significant effects on adipogenesis of BMSCs.Interestingly, conditional knockout of rank in BMSCs with Prx1-Cre mice leads to a higher bone mass and increased trabecular bone formation independent of osteoclasts. In addition, rank: Prx1-Cre mice show resistance to ovariectomy-(OVX) induced bone loss. Thus, our results reveal that RANKL signaling regulates both osteoclasts and osteoblasts by inhibition of osteogenic differentiation of BMSCs and promotion of osteoclastogenesis.展开更多
Objective The changes in serum adipokines and cytokines related to oxidative stress were examined during 3 months ‘Off to On’ and ‘On to Off’ periods using negatively charged particle-dominant indoor air condition...Objective The changes in serum adipokines and cytokines related to oxidative stress were examined during 3 months ‘Off to On’ and ‘On to Off’ periods using negatively charged particle-dominant indoor air conditions(NCPDIAC).Methods Seven volunteers participated in the study,which included ‘OFF to 3 months ON’ periods(ON trials) for a total of 16 times,and ‘ON to 3 months OFF’(OFF trials) periods for a total of 13 times.Results With the exception of one case,serum amyloid A(SAA) levels decreased significantly during the ON trials.Conclusion Considering that SAA is an acute phase reactive protein such as C reactive protein(CRP),this observed decrease might indicate the prevention of cardiovascular and atherosclerotic changes,since an increase in high-sensitive CRP is associated with the subsequent detection of these events.展开更多
Glomerella leaf spot(GLS)of apple(Malus×domestica Borkh.),caused by Glomerella cingulata,is an emerging fungal epidemic threatening the apple industry.Little is known about the molecular mechanism underlying resi...Glomerella leaf spot(GLS)of apple(Malus×domestica Borkh.),caused by Glomerella cingulata,is an emerging fungal epidemic threatening the apple industry.Little is known about the molecular mechanism underlying resistance to this devastating fungus.In this study,high-throughput sequencing technology was used to identify microRNAs(miRNAs)involved in GLS resistance in apple.We focused on miRNAs that target genes related to disease and found that expression of a novel miRNA,Md-miRln20,was higher in susceptible apple varieties than in resistant ones.Furthermore,its target gene Md-TN1-GLS exhibited the opposite expression pattern,which suggested that the expression levels of Md-miRln20 and its target gene are closely related to apple resistance to GLS.Furthermore,downregulation of MdmiRln20 in susceptible apple leaves resulted in upregulation of Md-TN1-GLS and reduced the disease incidence.Conversely,overexpression of Md-miRln20 in resistant apple leaves suppressed Md-TN1-GLS expression,with increased disease incidence.We demonstrated that Md-miRln20 negatively regulates resistance to GLS by suppressing Md-TN1-GLS expression and showed,for the first time,a crucial role for miRNA in response to GLS in apple.展开更多

文摘A novel ketone-functionalized aromatic saddle consisting of 72 sp^2 carbon atoms is successfully synthesized and unambiguously identified with X-ray crystallography.It can,in principle,be used as a building block for synthesis of negatively curved carbon nanobelts and for a bottom-up approach to negatively curved carbon allotropes.

文摘Establishment of a hematopoietic stem cell(HSC)pool depends on the appropriate formation,maturation and mobilization of HSCs in vertebrates.In mice,the aorta-gonad-mesonephros(AGM)is a prominent site for the formation of definitive HSCs from endothelial cells,although the placenta and yolk sac also give rise to HSCs(Mikkola and Orkin,2006;Chen et al.,2009).After formation,AGM-derived HSCs migrate to the fetal liver(FL),and ultimately to the bone marrow (BM), two definitive hematopoietic organs (Cumano and Godin, 2007).

文摘For weighted sums of asymptotically almost negatively associated (AANA) random variables sequences, we use the Rosenthal type moment inequalities and prove the Marcinkiewicz-Zygmund type complete convergence and obtain the complete convergence rates. Our results extend some known ones.
