Here we report a left cheek plate of Psarolepis,a postparietal shield of Youngolepis,a skull of Diabolepis,and a scale of Styloichthys from the Lianhuashan and Nahkaoling formations(Lochkovian,Lower Devonian)of Nannin...Here we report a left cheek plate of Psarolepis,a postparietal shield of Youngolepis,a skull of Diabolepis,and a scale of Styloichthys from the Lianhuashan and Nahkaoling formations(Lochkovian,Lower Devonian)of Nanning,Guangxi.This marks the first report of Diabolepis and Styloichthys beside Qujing,Yunnan,and the latest occurrence of Psarolepis to date.The fossil community displays significant similarities to the Xujiachong Assemblage,and provides new data for the Lower Devonian stratigraphic correlation between southwestern China and northern Vietnam.Given the latest dating constraint based on the conodont evidence,we regard that the Xujiachong Assemblage has a much longer range than previously supposed,extending from the latest Lochkovian to the end of Pragian.We propose that the transition of the Nahkaoling and Lianhuashan formations in Nanning might correspond to the Guijiatun Formation in Qujing.The relatively large size of fish individuals from Guangxi is probably attributed to the increase in the oxygen content of the ocean.展开更多

[ Method] Five kinds of typical fruits （litchi, longan, dragon fruit, mangosteen and pineapple） in Nanning were collected to measure contents of heavy metals including Cd, Pb, As and Hg. According to standard of pollution-free fruits （GB18406.2 -2001 ）, pollution evaluation was conducted, and cumulative degrees of different fruits on a variety of heavy metals were contrasted. [ Result ] The heavy metal contents of all fruits were qualified. Comprehensive pollution index of dragon fruit was the maximum, and its cumulative capability on various heavy metals was the strongest. Main reason for difference of the each meteorological factor was analyzed from altitude, underlying surface property and station environment. [Result] Atmospheric pressure and temperature at new station were both lower than that at old station, while relative humidity and wind speed were both higher than that at old station. Rainfall and sunshine had big differences at new and old stations, but variation did not have rule. Main reasons for obvious difference of the meteorological factor were that altitude, observation environment, terrain and underlying surface property at new and old stations were different. Melia L. is a small genus of only 2–3 species, which is native to Indo-Malesia, India, Pakistan and southern parts of tropical Africa. Fossil records of Melia are known from the early Miocene to the Pleistocene. Here...Melia L. is a small genus of only 2–3 species, which is native to Indo-Malesia, India, Pakistan and southern parts of tropical Africa. Fossil records of Melia are known from the early Miocene to the Pleistocene. Here we describe some mummified fossil endocarps of Melia from the upper part of the Yongning Formation(late Oligocene) in Nanning Basin, South China. These well-preserved stony endocarps are 8–14 mm long and 5–9 mm wide, and have 5 locules with a single spindle seed per locule. We interpret these endocarps as the internal remains of a Melia drupe, and assign them as a new species: M. santangensis sp. nov. This is the only fossil record of anatomically preserved Melia found in China, and also the oldest fossil record of Melia so far reported globally. The fossil record confirms the presence of Melia in Asia at the late Oligocene, and provides evidence supporting the distribution and dispersal hypothesis of the Meliaceae.展开更多

Nanning City, as one of the first batch of experimental sponge citi...As a new urban development pattern, the construction of sponge cities has been deeply integrated into the new urbanization and water safety strategy. Nanning City, as one of the first batch of experimental sponge cities in China, has undertaken exploration and practice on sponge city planning, construction, and management. The sponge city master plan of Nanning City establishes an urban ecological spatial pattern in order to protect the security of the sponge base. The sponge city construction strategy has also proposed an overall construction strategy of a sponge city in line with urban development features. Through the systematic analysis and planning, a "23+10+202" pattern of sponge city construction has been formed. "23" represents 23 drainage basins, in which major sponge facilities such as storage facilities, waterfront buffer zones, wetland parks, ecological rainwater corridor and sponge parks are allocated. "10" represents 10 sponge functional zones, which provide important reference for the establishment of sponge city construction index system. "202" represents 202 management units, which decomposes the general objective and provides technical support not only for sponge city construction and management, but also for the implementation of general objectives in the regulatory plan as well.展开更多
