Up to now,The Iconography of the Decorated Writing-Paper of the Ten Bamboo Studio(shortened as Iconography)is the first large-scale book to systematically study and interpret the notes and pictures of The Decorated Wr...Up to now,The Iconography of the Decorated Writing-Paper of the Ten Bamboo Studio(shortened as Iconography)is the first large-scale book to systematically study and interpret the notes and pictures of The Decorated Writing-Paper of the Ten Bamboo Studio(shortened as Ten Bamboo).The Iconography explains the sources and interpretations of 123 paintings in 15 groups.The content covers the celebrities and historical allusions of Tessa in the past dynasties,in which there are many nicknames that are full of Chinese characteristics.This paper takes the English translation of characters’nicknames in Iconography as the research object.Through the research,it is found that the translation of these characters’nicknames mainly adopts the methods of transliteration,explanation,literal translation with annotations and free translation.Through the analysis of specific cases,this paper tries to make the translation meet the reading expectation of the target readers to the maximum extent,and provide reference for the English translation of related classical works.展开更多

Today, it is well known how the wide social effects of social networking...This work;It was made to determine the positive and negative usage information, attitudes and behaviors of social networking networks for users. Today, it is well known how the wide social effects of social networking sites are widespread and effective. As far as it can be followed from written and visual media, it causes significant damages for attitudes and behaviors for individuals. Looking at the results of the study, it seems impossible to limit the time and necessity of these networks for people, but it is understood that people force their limits and capacity. It was determined that the general acceptance and rejection areas are mixed and the dominant distinctive effects were weakened. Unable to prevent social dissolution and deterioration was realized by these social networks of networks. However, we cannot only talk about negative effects because their positive effects should be mentioned. Data were obtained in this direction. For example, some segments encourage the users of these sites to have more freedom, to develop democracy and human rights awareness. However, the real problem is when and where to stand. This study;Social networking networks use information, attitudes and behaviors;It was carried out for the purpose of evaluating the use of nicknames and networks for the use of networks. The data of the study were obtained by the application of a questionnaire and the data obtained were analyzed with appropriate statistical analysis methods. In the first part of the study, field study/operational concept scanning is performed and theoretical information is included. In the second part, the purpose of the study, the problem status, the importance of the study, limitations, assumptions, problem question, research method, research universe and sample are specified and informed. In the third section, the data obtained using appropriate statistical methods are analyzed. In the last section, some important suggestions and comments are made in the light of the data obtained.展开更多

This affected the language, and, in tu...The purpose of this study is to shed light on the southern part of Italy where Catalonians ruled. Great numbers of Spaniards, principally the Catalonians, headed to that country. This affected the language, and, in turn, the history of people＇s last names. At first, some of the Spanish last names were used as nicknames for Italians. The method 1 used to get the data from primary sources was from spending time in Italy for four consecutive summers and visiting towns in the Naples area while I collected surnames found on houses. The Catalonians came to rule Sardinia, and their language and subsequently Spanish were official on the island. The linguistic influence of Spanish does not stop with surnames. A list of Spanish and Basque surnames which is redolent of the history of southern Italy and Sicily is appended. The geolinguistics interest lies in the way that the study of language, both ordinary words and proper nouns, offers important clues to the lives and movements of people of ages past, reflects political and economic aspects and also explains the ethnic origin of people who live in Sicily and Italy today or are descendants of Italians who have been important immigrants in the Americas, in Australia, and indeed around the world.展开更多
Online donation platforms are instrumental in facilitating individual charitable giving by leveraging the confluence of financial technology and mobile social networks.Despite the impact of these technological advance...Online donation platforms are instrumental in facilitating individual charitable giving by leveraging the confluence of financial technology and mobile social networks.Despite the impact of these technological advancements,the role of culture in shaping the motivations and behaviors of donors remains an open area for exploration.By analyzing three different datasets,we elucidate the relationship between individualism/collectivism and charitable donations at the national,regional,and personal levels.A remarkable U-shaped pattern is revealed between individualism/collectivism and charitable donations.It is also found that the personal reputation strengthens the positive effect of individualism/collectivism on the donation amount,with a notably stronger influence on individualists than on collectivists.Furthermore,collectivists prefer to allocate donations to acquaintances,whereas individualists tend to direct their contributions towards strangers.Our results not only provide an understanding of the psychological and social mechanisms that underlie cultural influences on charitable giving but also highlight the importance of considering cultural contexts when designing strategies to encourage and enhance charitable donations.展开更多
