Elastic parameters, such as seismic wave velocity and formation density, do not have sufficient sensitivity, thus, the conventional amplitude-versus-offset(AVO) method is not applicable. The frequency-dependent AVO method considers the dependency of the seismic amplitude to frequency and uses this dependency to obtain information regarding the fluids in the reservoir fractures. We propose an improved Bayesian inversion method based on the parameterization of the Chapman model. The proposed method is based on 1) inelastic attribute inversion by the FDAVO method and 2) Bayesian statistics for fluid identification. First, we invert the inelastic fracture parameters by formulating an error function, which is used to match observations and model data. Second, we identify fluid types by using a Markov random field a priori model considering data from various sources, such as prestack inversion and well logs. We consider the inelastic parameters to take advantage of the viscosity differences among the different fluids possible. Finally, we use the maximum posteriori probability for obtaining the best lithology/fluid identification results.展开更多

文摘A key problem in seismic inversion is the identification of the reservoir fluids. Finally, we use the maximum posteriori probability for obtaining the best lithology/fluid identification results.

文摘In this paper,we implement three scales of fracture integrated prediction study by classifying it to macro-( 1/4/λ),meso-( 1/100λ and 1/4λ) and micro-( 1/100λ) scales.Based on the multi-scales rock physics modelling technique, the seismic azimuthal anisotropy characteristic is analyzed for distinguishing the fractures of meso-scale.Furthermore,by integrating geological core fracture description, image well-logging fracture interpretation, seismic attributes macro-scale fracture prediction and core slice micro-scale fracture characterization,an comprehensive multi-scale fracture prediction methodology and technique workflow are proposed by using geology,well-logging and seismic multi-attributes.Firstly,utilizing the geology core slice observation(Fractures description) and image well-logging data interpretation results, the main governing factors of fracture development are obtained, and then the control factors of the development of regional macro-scale fractures are carried out via modelling of the tectonic stress field. For the meso-scale fracture description, the poststack geometric attributes are used to describe the macro-scale fracture as well, the prestack attenuation seismic attribute is used to predict the meso-scale fracture. Finally,by combining lithological statistic inversion with superposed results of faults, the relationship of the meso-scale fractures, lithology and faults can be reasonably interpreted and the cause of meso-scale fractures can be verified. The micro-scale fracture description is mainly implemented by using the electron microscope scanning of cores. Therefore, the development of fractures in reservoirs is assessed by valuating three classes of fracture prediction results. An integrated fracture prediction application to a real field in Sichuan basin, where limestone reservoir fractures developed,is implemented. The application results in the study area indicates that the proposed multi-scales integrated fracture prediction method and the technique procedureare able to deal with the strong heterogeneity and multi-scales problems in fracture prediction. Moreover, the multi-scale fracture prediction technique integrated with geology,well-logging and seismic multi-information can help improve the reservoir characterization and sweet-spots prediction for the fractured hydrocarbon reservoirs.
文摘Complex trimalleolar ankle fractures are a major orthopaedic challenge, with an incidence of 4.22 per 10000 person-years in the United States and an annual cost of 3.4 billion dollars. This review synthesizes current evidence on diagnostic protocols and management strategies, highlighting optimal approaches and emerging trends.Initial care emphasizes soft tissue assessment, often guided by the Tscherne classification, and fracture classification systems.External fixation may be required in open injuries, while early open reduction and internal fixation within six days is linked to improved outcomes.Minimally invasive techniques for the lateral malleolus, including intramedullary nailing and locking plates, are effective, while medial malleolus fractures are commonly managed with screw fixation or tension-band wiring.Posterior malleolus fragments involving more than 25%of the articular surface usually warrant fixation.Alternatives to syndesmotic screws, such as cortical buttons or high-strength sutures, reduce the need for secondary procedures.Arthroscopic-assisted open reduction and internal fixation benefits younger, active patients by enabling concurrent management of intra-articular and ligamentous injuries.Postoperative care prioritizes early weight-bearing and validated functional scores.Despite advances, complications remain common, and further research is needed to refine surgical strategies and improve outcomes.

文摘Images taken in dim environments frequently exhibit issues like insufficient brightness, noise, color shifts, and loss of detail. These problems pose significant challenges to dark image enhancement tasks.Current approaches, while effective in global illumination modeling, often struggle to simultaneously suppress noise and preserve structural details, especially under heterogeneous lighting.Furthermore, misalignment between luminance and color channels introduces additional challenges to accurate enhancement. In response to the aforementioned difficulties,we introduce a single-stage framework,M2ATNet,using the multi-scale multi-attention and Transformer architecture.First,to address the problems of texture blurring and residual noise,we design a multi-scale multi-attention denoising module(MMAD),which is applied separately to the luminance and color channels to enhance the structural and texture modeling capabilities.Secondly,to solve the non-alignment problem of the luminance and color channels,we introduce the multi-channel feature fusion Transformer(CFFT)module, which effectively recovers the dark details and corrects the color shifts through cross-channel alignment and deep feature interaction. To guide the model to learn more stably and efficiently,we also fuse multiple types of loss functions to form a hybrid loss term.We extensively evaluate the proposed method on various standard datasets, including LOL-v1,LOL-v2,DICM,LIME,and NPE.Evaluation in terms of numerical metrics and visual quality demonstrate that M2ATNet consistently outperforms existing advanced approaches.Ablation studies further confirm the critical roles played by the MMAD and CFFT modules to detail preservation and visual fidelity under challenging illumination-deficient environments.

文摘Accurate and efficient detection of building changes in remote sensing imagery is crucial for urban planning, disaster emergency response, and resource management. However, existing methods face challenges such as spectral similarity between buildings and backgrounds, sensor variations, and insufficient computational efficiency. To address these challenges, this paper proposes a novel Multi-scale Efficient Wavelet-based Change Detection Network(MewCDNet),which integrates the advantages of Convolutional Neural Networks and Transformers, balances computational costs, and achieves high-performance building change detection. The network employs EfficientNet-B4 as the backbone for hierarchical feature extraction, integrates multi-level feature maps through a multi-scale fusion strategy, and incorporates two key modules:Cross-temporal Difference Detection(CTDD)and Cross-scale Wavelet Refinement(CSWR).CTDD adopts a dual-branch architecture that combines pixel-wise differencing with semanticaware Euclidean distance weighting to enhance the distinction between true changes and background noise.CSWR integrates Haar-based Discrete Wavelet Transform with multi-head cross-attention mechanisms, enabling cross-scale feature fusion while significantly improving edge localization and suppressing spurious changes.Extensive experiments on four benchmark datasets demonstrate MewCDNet’s superiority over comparison methods:achieving F1 scores of 91.54%on LEVIR,93.70%on WHUCD,and 64.96%on S2Looking for building change detection.Furthermore,MewCDNet exhibits optimal performance on the multi-class⋅SYSU dataset(F1:82.71%),highlighting its exceptional generalization capability.
文摘The Gabes aquifer system, located in southeastern Tunisia,is a crucial resource for supporting local socio-economic activities.Due to its dual porosity structure,is particularly vulnerable to pollution. This study aims to develop a hybrid model that combines the Fracture Aquifer Index(FAI)with the conventional GOD(Groundwater occurrence,Overall lithology,Depth to water table)method,to assess groundwater vulnerability in fractured aquifer. To develop the hybrid model, the classical GOD method was integrated with FAI to produce a single composite index. Each parameter within both GOD and FAI was scored, and a final index was calculated to delineate vulnerable areas. The results show that the study area can be classified into four vulnerability levels:Very low, low, moderate, and high, indicating that approximately 8%of the area exhibits very low vulnerability,29%has low vulnerability,25%falls into the moderate category, and 38%is considered highly vulnerable. The FAI-GOD model further incorporates fracture network characteristics. This refinement reduces the classification to three vulnerability classes:Low,medium, and high. The outcomes demonstrate that 46%of the area is highly vulnerable due to a dense concentration of fractures, while 17%represents an intermediate zone characterized by either shallow or deeper fractures. In contrast,37%corresponds to areas with lightly fractured rock, where the impact on vulnerability is minimal.Multivariate statistical analysis was employed using Principal Components Analysis(PCA)and Hierarchical Cluster Analysis(HCA)on 24 samples across six variables. The first three components account for over 76%of the total variance, reinforcing the significance of fracture dynamics in classifying vulnerability levels. The FAI-GOD model removes the very-low-vulnerability class and expands the spatial extent of low-and high-vulnerability zones, reflecting the dominant influence of fracture networks on aquifer sensitivity. While both indices use a five-class system,FAI-GOD redistributes vulnerability by eliminating very-low-vulnerability areas and amplifying low/high categories, highlighting the critical role of fractures.A strong correlation(R2=0.94)between the GOD and FAI-GOD indices, demonstrated through second-order polynomial regression, confirms the robustness of the FAI-GOD model in accurately predicting vulnerability to pollution. This model provides a useful framework for assessing the vulnerability of complex aquifers and serves as a decision-making tool for groundwater managers in similar areas.

文摘Impact craters are important for understanding the evolution of lunar geologic and surface erosion rates, among other functions. However, the morphological characteristics of these micro impact craters are not obvious and they are numerous, resulting in low detection accuracy by deep learning models. Therefore,we proposed a new multi-scale fusion crater detection algorithm(MSF-CDA)based on the YOLO11 to improve the accuracy of lunar impact crater detection, especially for small craters with a diameter of<1 km.Using the images taken by the LROC(Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter Camera)at the Chang’e-4(CE-4)landing area,we constructed three separate datasets for craters with diameters of 0-70 m,70-140 m,and>140 m.We then trained three submodels separately with these three datasets.Additionally,we designed a slicing-amplifying-slicing strategy to enhance the ability to extract features from small craters. To handle redundant predictions,we proposed a new Non-Maximum Suppression with Area Filtering method to fuse the results in overlapping targets within the multi-scale submodels. Finally, our new MSF-CDA method achieved high detection performance, with the Precision,Recall, and F1 score having values of 0.991,0.987,and 0.989,respectively,perfectly addressing the problems induced by the lesser features and sample imbalance of small craters. Our MSF-CDA can provide strong data support for more in-depth study of the geological evolution of the lunar surface and finer geological age estimations. This strategy can also be used to detect other small objects with lesser features and sample imbalance problems. We detected approximately 500,000 impact craters in an area of approximately 214 km2 around the CE-4 landing area.By statistically analyzing the new data,we updated the distribution function of the number and diameter of impact craters. Finally,we identified the most suitable lighting conditions for detecting impact crater targets by analyzing the effect of different lighting conditions on the detection accuracy.
文摘With the rapid expansion of drone applications, accurate detection of objects in aerial imagery has become crucial for intelligent transportation, urban management, and emergency rescue missions. However, existing methods face numerous challenges in practical deployment, including scale variation handling, feature degradation, and complex backgrounds. To address these issues,we propose Edge-enhanced and Detail-Capturing You Only Look Once(EHDC-YOLO),a novel framework for object detection in Unmanned Aerial Vehicle(UAV)imagery.Based on the You Only Look Once version 11 nano(YOLOv11n)baseline,EHDC-YOLO systematically introduces several architectural enhancements:(1)a Multi-Scale Edge Enhancement(MSEE)module that leverages multi-scale pooling and edge information to enhance boundary feature extraction;(2)an Enhanced Feature Pyramid Network(EFPN)that integrates P2-level features with Cross Stage Partial(CSP)structures and OmniKernel convolutions for better fine-grained representation;and(3)Dynamic Head(DyHead)with multi-dimensional attention mechanisms for enhanced cross-scale modeling and perspective adaptability.Comprehensive experiments on the Vision meets Drones for Detection(VisDrone-DET)2019 dataset demonstrate that EHDC-YOLO achieves significant improvements, increasing mean Average Precision(mAP)@0.5 from 33.2%to 46.1%(an absolute improvement of 12.9 percentage points)and mAP@0.5:0.95 from 19.5%to 28.0%(an absolute improvement of 8.5 percentage points)compared with the YOLOv11n baseline, while maintaining a reasonable parameter count(2.81 M vs the baseline’s 2.58 M).Further ablation studies confirm the effectiveness of each proposed component, while visualization results highlight EHDC-YOLO’s superior performance in detecting objects and handling occlusions in complex drone scenarios.
文摘BACKGROUND Ankle fractures are well-documented in snow sports, but concomitant Achilles tendon and peroneal tendon ruptures are rare. This case report presents a previously unreported combination of Achilles tendon rupture, peroneal tendon rupture, and fibular fracture in a snowboarder, highlighting the complex nature of diagnosis, management, and rehabilitation.CASE SUMMARY A 50-year-old male snowboarder presented with severe right ankle pain following a high speed tumbling crash.Initial evaluation revealed an Achilles tendon rupture and a non-displaced distal lateral malleolus fracture.Subsequent magnetic resonance imaging confirmed complete tears of the Achilles tendon and both peroneus longus and brevis tendons, along with a Weber A lateral malleolus fracture.Surgical intervention included a 4-suture core Kraków repair of the Achilles tendon with calcaneal docking, open reduction and internal fixation of the distal fibula fracture, and primary repair of both peroneal tendons.Postoperatively,a modified Achilles repair protocol was implemented. At 16 weeks post-surgery,radiographs showed a well-healed fibular fracture, and physical examination confirmed intact Achilles and peroneal tendon repairs.By 6 months, the patient had regained full daily and work activities, including recreational pursuits.CONCLUSION This case underscores the importance of maintaining a high index of suspicion for concomitant injuries in high-energy ankle trauma during snow sports.Timely advanced imaging and a comprehensive surgical approach are crucial for optimal outcomes in such complex cases.

文摘BACKGROUND Humeral shaft fractures are common and vary by age, with high-energy trauma observed in younger adults and low-impact injuries in older adults.Radial nerve palsy is a frequent complication.Treatment ranges from nonoperative methods to surgical interventions such as intramedullary K-wires,which promote faster rehabilitation and improved elbow mobility.AIM To evaluate the outcomes of managing humeral shaft fractures using closed reduction and internal fixation with flexible intramedullary K-wires.METHODS This was a retrospective cohort study analyzing the medical records of patients with humeral shaft fractures managed with flexible intramedullary K-wires at King Abdulaziz Medical City, using non-random sampling and descriptive analysis for outcome evaluation.RESULTS This study assessed the clinical outcomes of 20 patients treated for humeral shaft fractures with intramedullary K-wires.Patients were predominantly male(n=16,80%),had an average age of 39.2 years, and a mean body mass index of 29.5 kg/m^(2).The fractures most frequently occurred in the middle third of the humerus(n=14,70%),with oblique fractures being the most common type(n=7,35%).All surgeries used general anesthesia and a posterior approach, with no intraoperative complications reported.Postoperatively, all patients achieved clinical and radiological union(n=20,100%),and the majority(n=13,65%)reached an elbow range of motion from 0 to 150 degrees.CONCLUSION These results suggest that intramedullary K-wire fixation may be an effective option for treating humeral shaft fractures, with favorable outcomes in range of motion recovery, fracture union, and a low rate of intraoperative complications.
文摘This paper prepared a novel as-cast W-Zr-Ti metallic ESM using high-frequency vacuum induction melting technique. The above ESM performs a typical elastic-brittle material feature and strain rate strengthening behavior. The specimens exhibit violent chemical reaction during the fracture process under the impact loading, and the size distribution of their residual debris follows Rosin-Rammler model. The dynamic fracture toughness is obtained by the fitting of debris length scale, approximately 1.87 MPa·m~(1/2).Microstructure observation on residual debris indicates that the failure process is determined by primary crack propagation under quasi-static compression, while it is affected by multiple cracks propagation in both particle and matrix in the case of dynamic impact.Impact test demonstrates that the novel energetic fragment performs brilliant penetration and combustion effect behind the front target, leading to the effective ignition of fuel tank. For the brittleness of as-cast W-ZrTi ESM,further study conducted bond-based peridynamic(BB-PD)C++computational code to simulate its fracture behavior during penetration. The BB-PD method successfully captured the fracture process and debris cloud formation of the energetic fragment. This paper explores a novel as-cast metallic ESM,and provides an available numerical avenue to the simulation of brittle energetic fragment.

文摘A unified mathematical model is established to simulate the nonlinear unsteady percolation of shale gas with the consideration of the nonlinear multi-scale effects such as slippage, diffusion, and desorption. The continuous inhomogeneous models of equivalent porosity and permeability are proposed for the whole shale gas reservoir includ- ing the hydraulic fracture, the micro-fracture, and the matrix regions. The corresponding semi-analytical method is developed by transforming the nonlinear partial differential governing equation into the integral equation and the numerical discretization. The nonlinear multi-scale effects of slippage and diffusion and the pressure dependent effect of desorption on the shale gas production are investigated.
文摘Microstructural characteristics and mechanical behavior of hot extruded Al5083/B4C nanocomposites were studied.Al5083and Al5083/B4C powders were milled for50h under argon atmosphere in attrition mill with rotational speed of400r/min.For increasing the elongation, milled powders were mixed with30%and50%unmilled aluminum powder(mass fraction)with meanparticle size of>100μm and<100μm and then consolidated by hot pressing and hot extrusion with9:1extrusion ratio.Hot extrudedsamples were studied by optical microscopy, scanning electron microscopy(SEM),energy dispersive spectroscopy(EDS),transmission electron microscopy(TEM),tensile and hardness tests. The results showed that mechanical milling process andpresence of B4C particles increase the yield strength of Al5083alloy from130to566MPa but strongly decrease elongation(from11.3%to0.49%).Adding<100μm unmilled particles enhanced the ductility and reduced tensile strength and hardness, but usingthe>100μm unmilled particles reduced the tensile strength and ductility at the same time.By increasing the content of unmilledparticles failure mechanism changed from brittle to ductile.

文摘The cretaceous gas reservoir in Kelasu Gas Field of the Tarim Basin is a rare ultra-deep and ultra-high pressure fractured tight sandstone gas reservoir where multi-scale discrete fractures of matrix, fracture and fault are developed,so its development cannot be conducted just based on static and dynamic reservoir description. In order to solve this problem, this paper establishes a numerical well test model of vertical wells based on matrix, fractures and faults(large fractures and small faults)by combining the random generation of natural fracture networks with the unstructured discrete fracture modeling method to break through the traditional continuous medium well test model. In addition, the model is solved by using the finite element method with mixed element, and the typical well test type curves under different random fracture networks are obtained. And the following research results are obtained.First, based on the observed data, the fracture network distribution modes of fractured tight sandstone gas reservoirs are classified into three categories. The influence of random generation of fracture networks on typical well test type curves is discussed. The results of discrete fracture well test model are compared with those of the traditional continuous medium well test model, and the applicable conditions of the traditional continuous medium well test model is determined.Second, there are great differences between the results of discrete fracture model and those of dual porosity medium model.1 The dual porosity medium model is a special case of the discrete fracture model,in which the fractures are evenly distributed within infinitely small spacing.Third, the characteristics of well test type curves under three fracture network distribution modes are discussed. The well test type curves that cannot be interpreted by the conventional dual/triple porosity continuous medium model are successfully interpreted by using the established well test interpretation model of random discrete fracture. The curve matching effect is ideal and the interpreted parameters are reasonable. In conclusion, the new model and the new method reveal the development mechanism of step-by-step production and coordinated gas supply between media of different scales, explain the development characteristics of large inter-well productivity difference and abnormal rapid inter-well pressure response, and provide a reference for the development of similar gas reservoirs.

文摘Fracture system is an important factor controlling tight oil accumulation in the Triassic Chang 8 Member, southwestern Ordos Basin,China.A systematic characterization of the multi-scale natural fractures is a basis for the efficient tight oil production.Based on outcrops, seismic reflections, well cores, well logs(image and conventional logging),casting thin sections, and scanning electron microscope observation, the multi-scale fractures occurrences and their influences on Chang 8 tight sandstone reservoirs are revealed. The results show that three periods of strike-slip faults and four scales of natural fractures developed, namely mega-scale(length>7×10^(7) mm),macro-scale(3.5×10^(5)<length<7×10^(7) mm),meso-scale(10<length<3.5×10^(5) mm),and micro-scale(length<10 mm)fractures. The mega-and macro-scale fractures developed by strike-slip faults are characterized by strike-segmentation and lateral zonation, which connect the source and reservoir. These scale fractures also influence the distribution and effectiveness of traps and reservoirs, which directly influence the hydrocarbon charging and distribution. The meso fractures include the tectonic, diagenetic,as well as hydrocarbon generation-related overpressure types. The meso-and micro-scale fractures improve the sandstone physical properties and also the tight oil well production performance. This integrated study helps to understand the distribution of multi-scale fractures in tight sandstones and provides a referable case and workflow for multi-scale fracture evaluation.

文摘To analyze the differences in the transport and distribution of different types of proppants and to address issues such as the short effective support of proppant and poor placement in hydraulically intersecting fractures, this study considered the combined impact of geological-engineering factors on conductivity.Using reservoir production parameters and the discrete elementmethod, multispherical proppants were constructed.Additionally,a 3D fracture model, based on the specified conditions of the L block, employed coupled(Computational Fluid Dynamics)CFD-DEM(Discrete ElementMethod)for joint simulations to quantitatively analyze the transport and placement patterns of multispherical proppants in intersecting fractures. Results indicate that turbulent kinetic energy is an intrinsic factor affecting proppant transport. Moreover, the efficiency of placement and migration distance of low-sphericity quartz sand constructed by the DEM in the main fracture are significantly reduced compared to spherical ceramic proppants, with a 27.7%decrease in the volume fraction of the fracture surface, subsequently affecting the placement concentration and damaging fracture conductivity.Compared to small-angle fractures, controlling artificial and natural fractures to expand at angles of 45°to 60°increases the effective support length by approximately 20.6%.During hydraulic fracturing of gas wells, ensuring the fracture support area and post-closure conductivity can be achieved by controlling the sphericity of proppants and adjusting the perforation direction to control the direction of artificial fractures.

文摘Because of the challenge of compounding lightweight,high-strength Ti/Al alloys due to their considerable disparity in properties,Al 6063 as intermediate layer was proposed to fabricate TC4/Al 6063/Al 7075 three-layer composite plate by explosive welding. The microscopic properties of each bonding interface were elucidated through field emission scanning electron microscope and electron backscattered diffraction(EBSD).A methodology combining finite element method-smoothed particle hydrodynamics(FEM-SPH)and molecular dynamics(MD)was proposed for the analysis of the forming and evolution characteristics of explosive welding interfaces at multi-scale.The results demonstrate that the bonding interface morphologies of TC4/Al 6063 and Al 6063/Al 7075 exhibit a flat and wavy configuration, without discernible defects or cracks. The phenomenon of grain refinement is observed in the vicinity of the two bonding interfaces.Furthermore, the degree of plastic deformation of TC4 and Al 7075 is more pronounced than that of Al 6063 in the intermediate layer. The interface morphology characteristics obtained by FEM-SPH simulation exhibit a high degree of similarity to the experimental results.MD simulations reveal that the diffusion of interfacial elements predominantly occurs during the unloading phase, and the simulated thickness of interfacial diffusion aligns well with experimental outcomes. The introduction of intermediate layer in the explosive welding process can effectively produce high-quality titanium/aluminum alloy composite plates.Furthermore, this approach offers a multi-scale simulation strategy for the study of explosive welding bonding interfaces.
