After introduction of effective attack and sideslip angles as well as quasi-body coordinates based on the spin characteristics of the missile's body, an integrated rigid kinetic model of missile with deflectable nose control is set up in the quasi-body coordinates considering the interaction between the missile's nose and body by using rootless multi-rigid-body system dynamics and is linearized. Then an analysis with simulation is conducted to investigate the coupling characteristics between the channels, the influences of nose deflection on the body and the dynamic characteristics of missile's body. The results indicate that various channels of missiles with deflectable nose control are coupled cross-linked; the nose deflection tends to make the body move in the opposite direction and, finally, evidences the correctness and reasonability of the kinetic model proposed by this article.展开更多
A multi-domain collaborative simulation(MDCS) system for dual clutch transmission(DCT) was presented based on controller area network(CAN) bus.An interface card of CAN bus was designed,in which MDCS subsystems were li...A multi-domain collaborative simulation(MDCS) system for dual clutch transmission(DCT) was presented based on controller area network(CAN) bus.An interface card of CAN bus was designed,in which MDCS subsystems were linked as the nodes according to the interface mode of MDCS.A DCT simulation model was established based on Matlab/Simdriveline,whose running process was accurately controlled by the designed control system.The playback system of vehicle state(VPS) was proposed whose input was the road-test data,with a real vehicle test environment for the development of transmission control unit(TCU) being provided.A DCT kinematic system model was set up,and the running status of DCT parts could be displayed in real time.The functions of MDCS were verified based on the extra-urban driving cycle(EUDC) and the vehicle road-test data respectively.The results show the functions of MDCS are accomplished,and the unified supporting platform for the development of TCU is achieved by MDCS.展开更多

The thermal conductivities of ...Heat conduction in single-walled carbon nanotubes (SWCNTs) has been investigated by using various methods, while less work has been focused on multi-walled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs). The thermal conductivities of the double-walled carbon nanotubes (DWCNTs) with two different temperature control methods are studied by using molecular dynamics (MD) simulations. One case is that the heat baths (HBs) are imposed only on the outer wall, while the other is that the HBs are imposed on both the two walls. The results show that the ratio of the thermal conductivity of DWCNTs in the first case to that in the second case is inversely proportional to the ratio of the cross-sectional area of the DWCNT to that of its outer wall. In order to interpret the results and explore the heat conduction mechanisms, the inter-wall thermal transport of DWCNTs is simulated. Analyses of the temperature profiles of a DWCNT and its two walls in the two cases and the inter- wall thermal resistance show that in the first case heat is almost transported only along the outer wall, while in the second case a DWCNT behaves like parallel heat transport channels in which heat is transported along each wall independently. This gives a good explanation of our results and presents the heat conduction mechanisms of MWCNTs.展开更多

Purpose–This study aims to investigate the safety effects of work zone advisory systems.The traditional system includes a dynamic message sign(DMS),whereas the advanced system includes an in-vehicle work zone warning...Purpose–This study aims to investigate the safety effects of work zone advisory systems.The traditional system includes a dynamic message sign(DMS),whereas the advanced system includes an in-vehicle work zone warning application under the connected vehicle(CV)environment.Design/methodology/approach–A comparative analysis was conducted based on the microsimulation experiments.Findings–The results indicate that the CV-based warning system outperforms the DMS.From this study,the optimal distances of placing a DMS varies according to different traffic conditions.Nevertheless,negative influence of excessive distance DMS placed from the work zone would be more obvious when there is heavier traffic volume.Thus,it is recommended that the optimal distance DMS placed from the work zone should be shortened if there is a traffic congestion.It was also revealed that higher market penetration rate of CVs will lead to safer network under good traffic conditions.Research limitations/implications–Because this study used only microsimulation,the results do not reflect the real-world drivers’reactions to DMS and CV warning messages.A series of driving simulator experiments need to be conducted to capture the real driving behaviors so as to investigate the unresolved-related issues.Human machine interface needs be used to simulate the process of in-vehicle warning information delivery.The validation of the simulation model was not conducted because of the data limitation.Practical implications–It suggests for the optimal DMS placement for improving the overall efficiency and safety under the CV environment.Originality/value–A traffic network evaluation method considering both efficiency and safety is proposed by applying traffic simulation.展开更多

文摘针对既有列车在运行时未能合理实现节能和准点的问题,文章分析列车节能运行和准点运行的耦合机理,提出一种基于多目标动态规划的列车节能准点运行策略(multi-objective dynamic programmingbased energy saving punctuality operation strategy of train,MDP-EP)。首先,依据运行能耗和运行时间的累加特性,根据线路特征信息将列车运行线路设计为若干个子区间,提高对线路特征信息变化的自适应性;然后,通过运动学约束和动力学约束分别生成速度域可达集和牵引/制动力域可达集,通过状态量约束和控制量约束提高对列车复杂操纵特性约束的自适应性,接着,结合节能准点目标的耦合机理设计最小能耗-最优运行时间目标函数,设计多目标动态规划方法进行迭代求解;最后,基于MATLAB仿真环境和试验环境,验证MDP-EP应用于高速列车的节能准点效果,结果表明,所提出的MDP-EP在保证运行时间的前提下使得高速列车均具有良好的节能性能,相比准点规划,节能指标提高10%~12%。
