Model-Driven Engineering (MDE) by reframing software development as the transformation of high-level models, promises lots of gains to Software Engineering in terms of productivity, quality and reusability. Although a number of empirical studies have established the reality of these gains, there are still lots of reluctances toward the adoption of MDE in practice. This resistance can be explained by several technological and social factors among which a natural scepticism toward novel approaches. In this paper we attempt to provide arguments to help alleviate this scepticism by conducting an assessment of a MDE approach. Our goal is to show that although this MDE is novel, it retains similarities with the conventional Software Engineering approach while automating aspects of it. 展开更多

针对基于Unity3D开发煤矿三维可视化业务系统难度大的问题,在分析Unity3D框架和底层技术的基础上,从资产打包和下载、三维场景加载和卸载、场景编辑、场景交互、Web接口功能通信这5个角度出发设计和封装了三维Web引擎。研究了资产包打... 针对基于Unity3D开发煤矿三维可视化业务系统难度大的问题,在分析Unity3D框架和底层技术的基础上,从资产打包和下载、三维场景加载和卸载、场景编辑、场景交互、Web接口功能通信这5个角度出发设计和封装了三维Web引擎。研究了资产包打包与下载,解决数据的来源问题;使用异步加载技术在浏览器中加载资产包,实现数据的加载和三维场景的构建;对Unity3D中常用的编辑功能进行封装,可以快速进行场景编辑;对Unity3D中的鼠标交互和相机控制进行封装,在浏览器三维场景中进行重复应用;根据Web接口通信原理,实现开发者使用主流的JavaScript语言调用封装好的煤炭业务功能接口,解决开发者开发煤矿三维应用的难度大的问题。结果表明:基于该三维Web引擎开发煤矿三维可视化业务系统达到了降低开发难度,场景可视化效果逼真的目的。 展开更多

基于Web的铁路工程大场景建模与渲染研究

铁路工程通常呈带状分布,采用三维球面大场景可以更好地展示铁路工程项目效果,也是当前铁路工程三维可视化普遍采用的技术手段。但因铁路工程构筑物和设施设备有其自身特点,开发大场景铁路工程三维可视化系统仍存在模型快速构建、与地... 铁路工程通常呈带状分布,采用三维球面大场景可以更好地展示铁路工程项目效果,也是当前铁路工程三维可视化普遍采用的技术手段。但因铁路工程构筑物和设施设备有其自身特点,开发大场景铁路工程三维可视化系统仍存在模型快速构建、与地理信息场景的融合建模、大场景高效渲染等技术难点。针对上述难点,通过对相关技术的深入研究,提出基于Web的铁路工程大场景三维系统整体技术路线,研发铁路工程建模引擎,并对大场景渲染流程和机制进行深度优化。首先,提出“数据上云,后端计算,前端渲染”的整体技术路线,即所有数据在云服务器集中存储,利用后端服务器进行建模计算,在前端Web网页上对模型进行渲染呈现,此技术路线既有利于数据安全,也有利于计算及网络的负载匀衡,可以极大地提升系统用户体验。其次,自主研发铁路工程建模引擎,该引擎针对铁路工程构筑物及设施设备的特点,采用放样建模及模型库相结合的方法,能够快速建立铁路工程三维模型,提出基于牛顿迭代的预测迭代方法,实现铁路工程模型与地形的高效融合建模。最后,提出一种动态加载技术,通过对大场景渲染流程与机制的深度优化,实现在不损失可视化效果的前提下进行海量模型的即时渲染,有效解决了大场景浏览过程中的卡顿、操作延迟现象。基于上述方法开发了铁路工程综合选线系统,通过项目应用验证了方法的可行性和有效性。 展开更多

A new mapping approach for automated ontology mapping using web search engines (such as Google) is presented. Based on lexico-syntactic patterns, the hyponymy relationships between ontology concepts can be obtained from the web by search engines and an initial candidate mapping set consisting of ontology concept pairs is generated. According to the concept hierarchies of ontologies, a set of production rules is proposed to delete the concept pairs inconsistent with the ontology semantics from the initial candidate mapping set and add the concept pairs consistent with the ontology semantics to it. Finally, ontology mappings are chosen from the candidate mapping set automatically with a mapping select rule which is based on mutual information. Experimental results show that the F-measure can reach 75% to 100% and it can effectively accomplish the mapping between ontologies. 展开更多

As data grows in size,search engines face new challenges in extracting more relevant content for users’searches.As a result,a number of retrieval and ranking algorithms have been employed to ensure that the results are relevant to the user’s requirements.Unfortunately,most existing indexes and ranking algo-rithms crawl documents and web pages based on a limited set of criteria designed to meet user expectations,making it impossible to deliver exceptionally accurate results.As a result,this study investigates and analyses how search engines work,as well as the elements that contribute to higher ranks.This paper addresses the issue of bias by proposing a new ranking algorithm based on the PageRank(PR)algorithm,which is one of the most widely used page ranking algorithms We pro-pose weighted PageRank(WPR)algorithms to test the relationship between these various measures.The Weighted Page Rank(WPR)model was used in three dis-tinct trials to compare the rankings of documents and pages based on one or more user preferences criteria.Thefindings of utilizing the Weighted Page Rank model showed that using multiple criteria to rankfinal pages is better than using only one,and that some criteria had a greater impact on ranking results than others. 展开更多

Recently,the ontological metamodel plays an increasingly important role to specify systems in two forms:ontology and metamodel.Ontology is a descriptive model representing reality by a set of concepts,their interrelations,and constraints.On the other hand,metamodel is a more classical,but more powerful model in which concepts and relationships are represented in a prescriptive way.This study firstly clarifies the difference between the two approaches,then explains their advantages and limitations,and attempts to explore a general ontological metamodeling framework by integrating each characteristic,in order to implement semantic simulation model engineering.As a proof of concept,this paper takes the combat effectiveness simulation systems as a motivating case,uses the proposed framework to define a set of ontological composable modeling frameworks,and presents an underwater targets search scenario for running simulations and analyzing results.Finally,this paper expects that this framework will be generally used in other fields. 展开更多

Because of the importance of graphics and information within the domain of architecture, engineering and construction (AEC), an appropriate combination of visualization technology and information management technology is of utter importance in the development of appropriately supporting design and construction applications. Virtual environments, however, tend not to make this information available. The sparse number of applications that present additional information furthermore tend to limit their scope to pure construction information and do not incorporate information from loosely related knowledge domains, such as cultural heritage or architectural history information. We therefore started an investigation of two of the newest developments in these domains, namely game engine technology and semantic web technology. This paper documents part of this research, containing a review and comparison of the most prominent game engines and documenting our architectural semantic web. Existing design procedures may currently be sufficient, especially where experience exists, but fierce industrial competition is spurring the search for improved methods and tools. The main drivers are quality, life-cycle cost, and time-to-market. Improved design efficiency and accuracy may have an enormous impact on the economic viability of the final product. The use of computer-aided systems can assist the designer in selecting the ap- propriate material these may potentially reduce product cost and time-to-market while assisting the concur- rent engineering activities, thereby resolving problems related to materials presented during the initial phase of design. This paper focuses on specific issues such as material selection at early design stage. In this paper material selection algorithm is developed using fuzzy logic technique for selection of proper material from database as per design engineers’ criteria. The information obtained from the selection algorithm is ex- changed through a properly secured web page through pure internet communication to different users in the enterprise so that it can create concurrent engineering environment throughout the product life cycle. 展开更多

The concept of Webpage visibility is usually linked to search engine optimization (SEO), and it is based on global in-link metric [1]. SEO is the process of designing Webpages to optimize its potential to rank high on search engines, preferably on the first page of the results page. The purpose of this research study is to analyze the influence of local geographical area, in terms of cultural values, and the effect of local society keywords in increasing Website visibility. Websites were analyzed by accessing the source code of their homepages through Google Chrome browser. Statistical analysis methods were selected to assess and analyze the results of the SEO and search engine visibility (SEV). The results obtained suggest that the development of Web indicators to be included should consider a local idea of visibility, and consider a certain geographical context. The geographical region that the researchers are considering in this research is the Hashemite kingdom of Jordan (HKJ). The results obtained also suggest that the use of social culture keywords leads to increase the Website visibility in search engines as well as localizes the search area such as google.jo, which localizes the search for HKJ. 展开更多
