However, the magnitude of its effects is unclear. The aim of this systematic review was to examine the impact of mHealth-based cardiac rehabilitation outcomes among coronary heart disease patients. Methods: Medline, CINAHL, Embase, PubMed, Google Scholar, NICE, and Cochrane library were searched for randomized controlled trials published between January 2002 and March 2017 which compared mHealth with conventional cardiac rehabilitation programs among coronary heart disease patients. Results: Eight articles were included in this review. The impact of mHealth interventions on physical activity, medicine adherence, smoking cessation, level of anxiety, and quality of life was inconsistent among the articles. Conclusions: Further research is needed to conclusively determine the impact of mHealth interventions on cardiac rehabilitation outcomes. The limitations of the included studies (e.g., inadequate sample size, failure to address the core components of cardiac rehabilitation programs, and lack of theory-based design) should be taken into account when designing future studies. 展开更多

Objectives:This study aimed to develop a mobile frailty management platform for Chinese communitydwelling older adults and evaluate its effectiveness, usability and safety. Methods:Based on literature research, the research team combined the frailty cycle and integration models,self-determination theory, and technology acceptance models and determined the frailty interventions through expert discussion, then transformed it into multimedia resources, finally, engineers developed the mobile management platform.A cluster sampling,parallel,single-blind,controlled quasiexperimental trial was conducted.Sixty older adults from two community health service centers were recruited from March to August 2023.The control group received routine community care, while the intervention group used the mobile frailty management platform. The incidence of frailty, scores of quality of life, depression, sleep quality, and grip strength within 12 weeks were compared between the two groups, and the availability and safety of the platform were assessed. Results:A total of 52 participants completed the study,27 in the intervention group and 25 in the control group. At 12 weeks after the intervention, the frailty state of the intervention group was reversed to prefrailty. There were no significant differences in the scores of quality of life, depression, sleep quality, and grip strength between the two groups before and 4 weeks after intervention. At 8 weeks and 12 weeks after the intervention, the quality of life, depression, and grip strength of the intervention group were improved with statistical significance(P<0.05).Sleep quality was statistically significant only 12 weeks after the intervention(P<0.05).System Usability Scale score for the platform was(87.96±5.88),indicating a highly satisfactory user experience.Throughout the intervention,no adverse events were reported among the older adults. Conclusions:The mobile frailty management platform effectively improved frailty status, depressive mood, sleep quality, grip strength, and quality of life for Chinese community-dwelling older adults. It holds clinical application value and is an effective tool for strengthening frailty management among Chinese community-dwelling older adults. 展开更多

Objective:This scoping review explores digital health interventions used to improve maternal health and the health of children under-5-year-olds in rural areas of low-and middle-income countries(LMICs),identifying current practices and research gaps. Methods:Guided by PRISMA Extension for Scoping Reviews,a comprehensive search was conducted across PubMed,Web of Science, and grey literature search with Google Scholar, and the South African National Elec-tronic Theses and Dissertations Portal.MeSH terms and Boolean operators were used.Studies were screened using the Population,Concept, and Context framework, and data were extracted systematically. Results:Of 5,114 records,63 met inclusion criteria.Digital health interventions, particularly mobile health, were found to enhance service delivery, education, and support for maternal and child health in LMICs.However, challenges such as limited access to technology, digital literacy, and cultural barriers persist.Contextual factors, including geography and sociocultural norms, significantly influenced implementation success. Conclusion:Digital health interventions show promise in improving maternal and child health in LMICs.How-ever,regional disparities, technological limitations, and cultural misalignment hinder scalability.Future research should focus on culturally adaptive,community-engaged approaches and long-term impact assessments to sup-port sustainable health promotion in low-resource settings. 展开更多
