We study the mixed spin-1 and spin-3/2 Blume-Capel model under crystal field in the tridimensional semi-infinite case. This has been done by using the real-space renormalization group approximation and specifically the Migdal-Kadanoff technique. As a function of the ratio R of bulk and surface interactions and the ratios R<sub>1</sub> and R<sub>2 </sub>of bulk and surface crystals fields on the spin-1 and spin-3/2 respectively, we have determined various types of phase diagrams. Besides second- order transition lines, first-order phase transition lines terminating at tricritical points are obtained. We found that there existed nine main types of phase diagram showing a variety of phase transitions associated with the surface, including ordinary, extraordinary, surface and special phase transitions. 展开更多

The random crystal field (RCF) effects are investigated on the phase diagrams of the mixed-spins 1/2 and 3/2 Blume-Capel (BC) model on the Bethe lattice. The bimodal random crystal field is assumed and the recursion relations are employed for the solution of the model. The system gives only the second-order phase transitions for all values of the crystal fields in the non-random bimodal distribution for given probability. The randomness does not change the order of the phase transitions for higher crystal field values, i.e., it is always second-order, but it may introduce first-order phase transitions at lower negative crystal field values for the probability in the range about 0.20 and 0.45, which is only the second-order for the non-random case in this range. Thus our work claims that randomness may be used to induce first-order phase transitions at lower negative crystal field values at lower probabilities. 展开更多

Using the mean-field theory and Glauber-type stochastic dynamics, we study the dynamic magnetic properties of the mixed spin (2, 5/2) Ising system for the antiferromagnetic/antiferromagnetic (AFM/AFM) interactions on the bilayer square lattice under a time varying (sinusoidal) magnetic field. The time dependence of average magnetizations and the thermal variation of the dynamic magnetizations are examined to calculate the dynamic phase diagrams. The dynamic phase diagrams are presented in the reduced temperature and magnetic field amplitude plane and the effects of interlayer coupling interaction on the critical behavior of the system are investigated. We also investigate the influence of the frequency and find that the system displays richer dynamic critical behavior for higher values of frequency than that of the lower values of it. We perform a comparison with the ferromagnetic/ferromagnetic (FM/FM) and AFM/FM interactions in order to see the effects of AFM/AFM interaction and observe that the system displays richer and more interesting dynamic critical behaviors for the AFM/AFM interaction than those for the FM/FM and AFM/FM interactions. 展开更多

Critical Properties of Mixed Ising Spin System with Different Trimodal Transverse Fields in the Presence of Single-Ion Anisotropy

Within the framework of an effective field approximation, the effects of single-ion anisotropy and different trimodal transverse fields of two sublattices on the critical properties of the mixed spin-1/2 and spin-1 Ising system are investigated on the simple cubic lattice. A smaller single-lon anisotropy can magnify magnetic ordering phases and a larger one can depress magnetic ordering phase for T-Ω1/2 space at low temperatures, while a smaller single-ion anisotropy can hardly change the value of critical transverse field for T-Ω1 space. On the other hand, influences of two different trimodal transverse fields concentrations on tricritical points and magnetic ordering phases take on some interesting results in T-D space. The main reason comes from the common action of single-ion anisotropy, different transverse fields and two trimodal distributions. 展开更多

The effects of assuming equal or unequal crystal fields (CF) on the phase diagrams of a mixed spin-1 and spin-5/2 system are investigated in terms of the recursion relations on the Bethe lattice (BL). The equal CF case was considered for the coordination numbers q = 3,4, and 6, while for q = 3 the unequal CF case was also studied. It was found that for the equal CF case, the model exhibits second-order phase transitions and two compensation temperatures for all q, the reentrant behavior for q = 4 and first-order phase transitions and tricritical point (TCP) for q = 6. In the unequal CF case for q = 3, the system yields first- and second-order phase transitions, TCP's, and three compensation temperatures. In addition, the TCP's in a very short range are classified as the stable and unstable ones depending on their free energies. 展开更多

The magnetic and thermodynamic properties are studied using the effective-field theory with correlations. The exchange coupling,longitudinal magnetic field, number of non-magnetic layers, and anisotropies had major influences on the magnetization, specific heat, and internal energy. Different saturation magnetizations are observed on the magnetization curve. The variation in the system blocking temperature is studied. The results provide theoretical guidance for the magnetic investigation of nanomaterials with RKKY coupling. 展开更多

The spin mixing conductance of the Co2FeAl0.5Si0.5/Pt and Pt/Co2FeAl0.5Si0.5 interfaces was determined to be 3.7×1019m 2and 2.1×1019m 2 by comparing the Gilbert damping in a Co2FeAl0.5Si0.5single film, Co2FeAl0.5Si0.5/Pt bilayer film and a Pt/Co2FeAl0.5Si0.5/Pt trilayer film. We numerically simulate the dynamics of a spin-2 Bose-Einstein condensate.We find that the initialphase plays an important role in the spin component oscillations.The spin mixing processes can fully cancel out due toquantum interference when taking some initial special phase.In all the spin mixing processes,the total spin is conversed.When the initial population is mainly occupied by a component with the maximal or minimal magnetic quantum number,the oscillations of spin components cannot happen due to the total spin conversation.The presence of quadratic Zeemanenergy terms suppresses some spin mixing processes so that the oscillations of spin components are suppressed in someinitial spin configuration.However,the linear Zeeman energy terms have no effects on the spin mixing processes. 展开更多

Ultracold atoms with cavity-mediated long-range interactions offer a promising platform for exploring emergent quantum phenomena.Building on recent experimental progress,we propose a novel scheme to create supersolid square and plane wave phases in spin-1/2 condensates.We demonstrate that the self-ordered supersolid phase supports an undamped gapless Goldstone mode across a broad parameter regime.This proposal is comprehensively described by the two-component Tavis–Cummings model with hosting a U(1)symmetry.By exploiting the superradiant photon-exchange process,our approach also constructs the cavity-mediated spin-momentummixing interactions between highly correlated spin and momentum modes,which may open avenues for exploring spin-momentum squeezing and spatially distributed multipartite entanglement. 展开更多

High-Precision Wideband Microwave Detection with Ensemble of Nitrogen-Vacancy Color Centers

High-precision detection of microwave field information is important in the fields of space wireless communication,space microwave remote sensing,and satellite navigation.In this paper,the high-precision detection of broadband microwave is realized.High-precision detection of microwave fields has been realized for the first time based on the spin-mixing model of nitrogen-vacancy color centers and the continuous wave optically detected magnetic resonance(ODMR)process.By changing the power ratio between the signal and reference microwave fields,the validity of high-precision detection of microwaves is verified,and the microwave magnetic field detection resolution is less than 100 nW and the Pearson correlation coefficient of the system’s response to microwave intensity is 0.9974.Then,by optimizing the data acquisition time,the megahertz-level frequency resolution of the signal microwave is achieved.In addition,the gigahertz bandwidth and megahertz resolution were also verified by tuning the resonance frequency of the spin energy level to an external static magnetic field.These results provide an important technological basis for solid-state microwave receivers based on nitrogen-vacancy color centers,highprecision spectral resolution detection,and microwave sensing. 展开更多
