The commercialization of perovskite solar cells(PSCs)has garnered worldwide attention and many efforts were devoted on the improvement of efficiency and stability.Here,we estimated the cost effectivities of PSCs based...The commercialization of perovskite solar cells(PSCs)has garnered worldwide attention and many efforts were devoted on the improvement of efficiency and stability.Here,we estimated the cost effectivities of PSCs based on the current industrial condition.Through the analysis of current process,the manufacturing cost and the levelized cost of electricity(LCOE)of PSCs is estimated as 0.57$W^(−1) and 18-22 US cents(kWh)^(−1),respectively,and we demonstrate the materials cost shares 70%of the total cost.Sensitivity analysis indicates that the improvement of efficiency,yield and decrease in materials cost significantly reduce the cost of the modules.Analysis of the module cost and LCOE indicates that the PSCs have the potential to outperform the silicon solar cells in the condition of over 25%efficiency and 25-year lifetime in future.To achieve this target,it is essential to further refine the fabrication processes of each layer in the module,develop stable inorganic transport materials,and precisely control material formation and processing at the microscale and nanoscale to enhance charge transport.展开更多

By utilizing the input-output analysis method, the complex consumption relationships in a complex manufacturing environment are first expressed. The consumption characteristics (mainly presented by the activity rates) of all production activities are extracted by solving these relationships. Then with the con- sumption characteristics and operating parameters of these activities, the detailed cost consumption of a product in its manufacturing process is estimated. A case study is finally given based on the compressor products of a manufacturing company, and its effectiveness is shown. As the cost influ- ence of complex consumption relationships is fully considered, the limitation of traditional ABC method is overcome, and therefore a high accuracy in product cost estimation under the complex manufacturing environment can be achieved.展开更多

The aluminum electrode and the alumina dielectric layer formed on the aluminum electrode were prepared separately by magnetron sputtering and anodic oxidation for plasma display panel. The properties of the aluminum electrode and the alumina dielectric layer were tested and can meet the demand of PDP application. The resistivity of the aluminum electrode is about 5×10^-8 Ω.m, the voltage withstanding of the alumina dielectric layer exceeds 100 V/μm and the relative permittivity is about 3.5 at 1 MHz. With this structure, the manufacturing cost of PDP could be cut and the addressing discharge formative delay is reduced by 0.67%, which is proved by PIC-MCC simulation.展开更多

We extracted roots of two varieties collected at different times after planting. The extracts were obtained by supercritical fluid extraction (SFE); we also estimated manufacturing costs. Constituents were quantified by gas-chromatography/time ionization detection (GC-FID). Results demonstrated the efficacy of a hydroponic system in producing vctiver with a high root extract content. The largest yield was obtained from roots collected on days 132 and 92 after planting from varieties National (1.41%) and Bourbon (1.28%), respectively. The major compounds present in the extract were khusimoi, isovalencenol, alpha-vetivone and beta-vetivone. To determine the economic viability of producing these extracts, manufacturing costs were estimated using a simplified methodology. The manufacturing costs were US$ 22.26/kg and US$ 24.26/kg for varieties national and Bourbon, respectively.展开更多

Several process parameters affect product reliability.Traditional reliability improvement methods primarily focus on maximizing product lifetime,often overlooking the variation in product lifetime.Manufacturers,howeve...Several process parameters affect product reliability.Traditional reliability improvement methods primarily focus on maximizing product lifetime,often overlooking the variation in product lifetime.Manufacturers,however,aim to produce products with minimal variations in their performance.Robust parameter design offers an effective strategy to help manufacturers enhance product reliability while reducing process variations.In practice,reliability experiments frequently involve constrained randomization due to the selection of specific experimental protocols.This study proposes a framework to achieve robust product reliability under a constrained randomization experiment.To consider random effects,we develop a Bayesian method-based Weibull non-linear mixed model for the lifetime response.Important factors are identified according to Bayesian posterior credible intervals.Subsequently,we propose an integrated multi-objective optimization model to determine the optimal factor levels.This model simultaneously considers minimizing the total costs of the manufacturer,maximizing the product lifetime,and minimizing the lifetime variance.An industrial thermostat experiment is conducted to validate the proposed method.Compared to existing approaches,the proposed method demonstrates superior performance in reducing variance and total cost,particularly for long warranty periods.Finally,we discuss the practical implications of the optimal solutions for manufacturers,finding that variations remain tolerable within a certain range.展开更多

文摘Perovskite-based photodetectors offer a compelling avenue for cutting-edge photonic applications due to their unique blend of optoelectronic characteristics and cost-efficient manufacturing processes.This comprehensive review investigates the advancements and hurdles facing organic and inorganic perovskite-based photodetectors.The introduction sets the stage by underscoring the significance of perovskite photodetectors and outlining the review’s scope.It also provides a primer on perovskite materials and structures,encompassing organic and inorganic variants,their synthesis techniques,and distinct properties.The section on working principles elucidates the fundamental mechanisms governing photovoltaic,photoconductive,phototransistor,and photodiode photodetectors,explaining how these devices capture and convert light into electrical signals.The review explores various device fabrication techniques,offering insights into methods like solution processing,vacuum deposition,and hybrid approaches,each with its merits and challenges.Performance optimization strategies are thoroughly examined,focusing on improving responsivity,detectivity,stability,and reliability,while also reducing noise and optimizing perovskite interfaces.It covers a diverse array of device architectures and configurations,including single-junction,tandem,and multijunction designs,as well as flexible and transparent photodetector configurations.Furthermore,the review discusses the integration and applications of perovskite-based photodetectors across imaging,environmental monitoring,communication,and healthcare,showcasing their versatility in realworld scenarios.Lastly,it addresses the challenges and future prospects of perovskite-based photodetectors,highlighting issues related to stability,toxicity,scalability,and emerging technologies,providing a glimpse into the exciting future of this field.

文摘Several process parameters affect product reliability.Traditional reliability improvement methods primarily focus on maximizing product lifetime,often overlooking the variation in product lifetime.Manufacturers,however,aim to produce products with minimal variations in their performance.Robust parameter design offers an effective strategy to help manufacturers enhance product reliability while reducing process variations.In practice,reliability experiments frequently involve constrained randomization due to the selection of specific experimental protocols.This study proposes a framework to achieve robust product reliability under a constrained randomization experiment.To consider random effects,we develop a Bayesian method-based Weibull non-linear mixed model for the lifetime response.Important factors are identified according to Bayesian posterior credible intervals.Subsequently,we propose an integrated multi-objective optimization model to determine the optimal factor levels.This model simultaneously considers minimizing the total costs of the manufacturer,maximizing the product lifetime,and minimizing the lifetime variance.An industrial thermostat experiment is conducted to validate the proposed method.Compared to existing approaches,the proposed method demonstrates superior performance in reducing variance and total cost,particularly for long warranty periods.Finally,we discuss the practical implications of the optimal solutions for manufacturers,finding that variations remain tolerable within a certain range.
