Transition metal carbonates(TMCs)hold great potential as high-performance electrodes for alkali metal-ion batteries,owing to multiple-ion storage mechanisms involving conversion process and electrocatalytic reaction.H...Transition metal carbonates(TMCs)hold great potential as high-performance electrodes for alkali metal-ion batteries,owing to multiple-ion storage mechanisms involving conversion process and electrocatalytic reaction.However,they still suffer from inferior electronic conductivity and volume variation during delithiation/lithiation.Heterostructure and heteroatoms doping offer immense promise in enhancing reaction kinetics and structural integrity,which unfortunately have not been achieved in TMCs.Herein,a unique TMCs heterostructure with Ni-doped MnCO_(3)as“core”and Mn-doped NiCO_(3)as“shell”,which is wrapped by graphene(NM@MN/RGO),is achieved by cations differentiation strategy.The formation process for core-shell NM@MN consists of epitaxial growth of NiCO_(3)from MnCO_(3)and synchronously mutual doping,owing to the similar crystal structures but different solubility product constant/formation energy of MnCO_(3)and NiCO_(3).In-situ electrochemical impedance spectroscopy,galvanostatic intermittent titration technique,differential capacity versus voltage plots,theoretical calculation and kinetic analysis reveal the superior electrochemical activity of the NM@MN/RGO to MnCO_(3)/RGO.The NM@MN/RGO shows excellent lithium storage properties(1013.4 mAh·g^(-1)at 0.1 A·g^(-1)and 760 mAh·g^(-1)after 1000 cycles at 2 A·g^(-1))and potassium storage properties(capacity decay rate of 0.114 mAh·g^(-1)per cycle).This work proposes an efficient cation differentiation strategy for constructing advanced TMC electrodes.展开更多
Although guided image filtering(GIF) is known for preserving edges and fast computation,it may produce inaccurate outputs in depth map restoration.In this paper,a novel confidence-weighted GIF called mutual-structure ...Although guided image filtering(GIF) is known for preserving edges and fast computation,it may produce inaccurate outputs in depth map restoration.In this paper,a novel confidence-weighted GIF called mutual-structure weighted GIF(MSWGIF) is proposed,which replaces the mean filtering strategy in GIF during handling overlapping windows.The confidence value is composed of a depth term and a mutual-structure term,where the depth term is utilized to protect the edges of the output,and the mutual-structure term helps to select accurate windows during the structure characteristics of the guidance image are transferred to the output.Experimental results show that MSWGIF reduces the root mean square error(RMSE) by an average of 12.37%,and the average growth rate of correlation(CORR) is 0.07% on average.Additionally,the average growth rate of structure similarity index measure(SSIM) is 0.34%.展开更多
In recent years,deep learning has made significant advancements in skin cancer diagnosis.However,most methods prioritize high prediction accuracy without considering the limitations of computational resources,making t...In recent years,deep learning has made significant advancements in skin cancer diagnosis.However,most methods prioritize high prediction accuracy without considering the limitations of computational resources,making them impractical for wearable devices.In this case,knowledge distillation has emerged as an effective method,capable of significantly reducing a model’s reliance on computational and storage resources.Nonetheless,previous research suffers from two limitations:1)the student model can only passively receive knowledge from the teacher model,and 2)the teacher model does not effectively model sample relationships during training,potentially hindering the effective transfer of sample relationship-related knowledge during knowledge distillation.To address these issues,we employ two identical student models,each equipped with a sample relationship module.This design ensures that the student models can mutually learn while modeling sample relationships.We conducted extensive experiments on the ISIC 2019 dataset to validate the effectiveness of our method.The results demonstrate that our approach significantly improves the recognition of various types of skin diseases.Compared to state-of-the-art methods,our approach exhibits higher accuracy and better generalization capabilities.展开更多

Purpose–This study aims to enhance the accuracy of key entity extraction from railway accident report texts and address challenges such as complex domain-specific semantics,data sparsity and strong inter-sentence sem...Purpose–This study aims to enhance the accuracy of key entity extraction from railway accident report texts and address challenges such as complex domain-specific semantics,data sparsity and strong inter-sentence semantic dependencies.A robust entity extraction method tailored for accident texts is proposed.Design/methodology/approach–This method is implemented through a dual-branch multi-task mutual learning model named R-MLP,which jointly performs entity recognition and accident phase classification.The model leverages a shared BERT encoder to extract contextual features and incorporates a sentence span indexing module to align feature granularity.A cross-task mutual learning mechanism is also introduced to strengthen semantic representation.Findings–R-MLP effectively mitigates the impact of semantic complexity and data sparsity in domain entities and enhances the model’s ability to capture inter-sentence semantic dependencies.Experimental results show that R-MLP achieves a maximum F1-score of 0.736 in extracting six types of key railway accident entities,significantly outperforming baseline models such as RoBERTa and MacBERT.Originality/value–This demonstrates the proposed method’s superior generalization and accuracy in domainspecific entity extraction tasks,confirming its effectiveness and practical value.展开更多

To address the significant degradation of Space-Time Adaptive Processing(STAP)performance when the array elements have mutual coupling and gain/phase errors,a STAP algorithm with adaptive calibration for the above two...To address the significant degradation of Space-Time Adaptive Processing(STAP)performance when the array elements have mutual coupling and gain/phase errors,a STAP algorithm with adaptive calibration for the above two array errors is proposed in this article.First,based on a defined error matrix that simultaneously considers both array mutual coupling and gain/phase errors,a STAP signal model including these errors is given.Then,utilizing the defined signal model,it is demonstrated that the estimation of the defined error matrix can be formulized as a standard convex optimization problem with the low-rank structure of the clutter covariance matrix and the subspace projection theory.Once the defined error matrix is estimated by solving the convex optimization problem,it is illustrated that a STAP method with adaptive calibration of the mutual coupling and gain/phase errors is coined.Analyses also show that the proposed adaptive calibration algorithm only needs one training sample to construct the adaptive weight vector.Therefore,it can achieve a good detection performance even with severe non-homogeneous clutter environments.Finally,the simulation experiments verify the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm and the correctness of the analytical results.展开更多
In natural language processing(NLP),managing multiple downstream tasks through fine-tuning pre-trained models often requires maintaining separate task-specific models,leading to practical inefficiencies.To address thi...In natural language processing(NLP),managing multiple downstream tasks through fine-tuning pre-trained models often requires maintaining separate task-specific models,leading to practical inefficiencies.To address this challenge,we introduce AdaptForever,a novel approach that enables continuous mastery of NLP tasks through the integration of elastic and mutual learning strategies with a stochastic expert mechanism.Our method freezes the pre-trained model weights while incorporating adapters enhanced with mutual learning capabilities,facilitating effective knowledge transfer from previous tasks to new ones.By combining Elastic Weight Consolidation(EWC)for knowledge preservation with specialized regularization terms,AdaptForever successfully maintains performance on earlier tasks while acquiring new capabilities.Experimental results demonstrate that AdaptForever achieves superior performance across a continuous sequence of NLP tasks compared to existing parameter-efficient methods,while effectively preventing catastrophic forgetting and enabling positive knowledge transfer between tasks.展开更多
Machine-to-machine (M2M) communication networks consist of resource-constrained autonomous devices, also known as autonomous Internet of things (IoTs) or machine-type communication devices (MTCDs) which act as a backb...Machine-to-machine (M2M) communication networks consist of resource-constrained autonomous devices, also known as autonomous Internet of things (IoTs) or machine-type communication devices (MTCDs) which act as a backbone for Industrial IoT, smart cities, and other autonomous systems. Due to the limited computing and memory capacity, these devices cannot maintain strong security if conventional security methods are applied such as heavy encryption. This article proposed a novel lightweight mutual authentication scheme including elliptic curve cryptography (ECC) driven end-to-end encryption through curve25519 such as (i): efficient end-to-end encrypted communication with pre-calculation strategy using curve25519;and (ii): elliptic curve Diffie-Hellman (ECDH) based mutual authentication technique through a novel lightweight hash function. The proposed scheme attempts to efficiently counter all known perception layer security threats. Moreover, the pre-calculated key generation strategy resulted in cost-effective encryption with 192-bit curve security. It showed comparative efficiency in key strength, and curve strength compared with similar authentication schemes in terms of computational and memory cost, communication performance and encryption robustness.展开更多

Studies show that Graph Neural Networks(GNNs)are susceptible to minor perturbations.Therefore,analyzing adversarial attacks on GNNs is crucial in current research.Previous studies used Generative Adversarial Networks ...Studies show that Graph Neural Networks(GNNs)are susceptible to minor perturbations.Therefore,analyzing adversarial attacks on GNNs is crucial in current research.Previous studies used Generative Adversarial Networks to generate a set of fake nodes,injecting them into a clean GNNs to poison the graph structure and evaluate the robustness of GNNs.In the attack process,the computation of new node connections and the attack loss are independent,which affects the attack on the GNN.To improve this,a Fake Node Camouflage Attack based on Mutual Information(FNCAMI)algorithm is proposed.By incorporating Mutual Information(MI)loss,the distribution of nodes injected into the GNNs become more similar to the original nodes,achieving better attack results.Since the loss ratios of GNNs and MI affect performance,we also design an adaptive weighting method.By adjusting the loss weights in real-time through rate changes,larger loss values are obtained,eliminating local optima.The feasibility,effectiveness,and stealthiness of this algorithm are validated on four real datasets.Additionally,we use both global and targeted attacks to test the algorithm’s performance.Comparisons with baseline attack algorithms and ablation experiments demonstrate the efficiency of the FNCAMI algorithm.展开更多

文摘Purpose–This study aims to enhance the accuracy of key entity extraction from railway accident report texts and address challenges such as complex domain-specific semantics,data sparsity and strong inter-sentence semantic dependencies.A robust entity extraction method tailored for accident texts is proposed.Design/methodology/approach–This method is implemented through a dual-branch multi-task mutual learning model named R-MLP,which jointly performs entity recognition and accident phase classification.The model leverages a shared BERT encoder to extract contextual features and incorporates a sentence span indexing module to align feature granularity.A cross-task mutual learning mechanism is also introduced to strengthen semantic representation.Findings–R-MLP effectively mitigates the impact of semantic complexity and data sparsity in domain entities and enhances the model’s ability to capture inter-sentence semantic dependencies.Experimental results show that R-MLP achieves a maximum F1-score of 0.736 in extracting six types of key railway accident entities,significantly outperforming baseline models such as RoBERTa and MacBERT.Originality/value–This demonstrates the proposed method’s superior generalization and accuracy in domainspecific entity extraction tasks,confirming its effectiveness and practical value.
文摘In the thousand-year-old mural of Mogao Grottoes in Dunhuang,a special symbol tells the story of exchanges among civilisations.Three Rabbits Sharing Three Ears depicts three rabbits chasing each other,with each two sharing one ear.It is said that its earliest version appeared in Dunhuang in the 6th century,and it had travelled across the desert along the ancient Silk Road,over mountains and rivers,leaping onto British ceramic tiles,integrating into Egyptian pottery and jumping cross the clock faces of German churches.

文摘To address the significant degradation of Space-Time Adaptive Processing(STAP)performance when the array elements have mutual coupling and gain/phase errors,a STAP algorithm with adaptive calibration for the above two array errors is proposed in this article.First,based on a defined error matrix that simultaneously considers both array mutual coupling and gain/phase errors,a STAP signal model including these errors is given.Then,utilizing the defined signal model,it is demonstrated that the estimation of the defined error matrix can be formulized as a standard convex optimization problem with the low-rank structure of the clutter covariance matrix and the subspace projection theory.Once the defined error matrix is estimated by solving the convex optimization problem,it is illustrated that a STAP method with adaptive calibration of the mutual coupling and gain/phase errors is coined.Analyses also show that the proposed adaptive calibration algorithm only needs one training sample to construct the adaptive weight vector.Therefore,it can achieve a good detection performance even with severe non-homogeneous clutter environments.Finally,the simulation experiments verify the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm and the correctness of the analytical results.

文摘In natural language processing(NLP),managing multiple downstream tasks through fine-tuning pre-trained models often requires maintaining separate task-specific models,leading to practical inefficiencies.To address this challenge,we introduce AdaptForever,a novel approach that enables continuous mastery of NLP tasks through the integration of elastic and mutual learning strategies with a stochastic expert mechanism.Our method freezes the pre-trained model weights while incorporating adapters enhanced with mutual learning capabilities,facilitating effective knowledge transfer from previous tasks to new ones.By combining Elastic Weight Consolidation(EWC)for knowledge preservation with specialized regularization terms,AdaptForever successfully maintains performance on earlier tasks while acquiring new capabilities.Experimental results demonstrate that AdaptForever achieves superior performance across a continuous sequence of NLP tasks compared to existing parameter-efficient methods,while effectively preventing catastrophic forgetting and enabling positive knowledge transfer between tasks.
文摘Machine-to-machine (M2M) communication networks consist of resource-constrained autonomous devices, also known as autonomous Internet of things (IoTs) or machine-type communication devices (MTCDs) which act as a backbone for Industrial IoT, smart cities, and other autonomous systems. Due to the limited computing and memory capacity, these devices cannot maintain strong security if conventional security methods are applied such as heavy encryption. This article proposed a novel lightweight mutual authentication scheme including elliptic curve cryptography (ECC) driven end-to-end encryption through curve25519 such as (i): efficient end-to-end encrypted communication with pre-calculation strategy using curve25519;and (ii): elliptic curve Diffie-Hellman (ECDH) based mutual authentication technique through a novel lightweight hash function. The proposed scheme attempts to efficiently counter all known perception layer security threats. Moreover, the pre-calculated key generation strategy resulted in cost-effective encryption with 192-bit curve security. It showed comparative efficiency in key strength, and curve strength compared with similar authentication schemes in terms of computational and memory cost, communication performance and encryption robustness.

文摘Based on Katharina Reiss’s text typology theory from the German Functionalist School,this paper systematically explores the strategic differences and practical methods in the mutual translation between Chinese and Japanese for operative,informative,expressive,and informative+expressive text types.By comparatively analyzing the linguistic functions,communicative features,and cultural cognitive differences of these four text types,the study proposes targeted translation strategies:Operative texts require tone adjustment,localized adaptation,and pragmatic compensation to maximize appeal;informative texts emphasize sentence structure restructuring and terminology standardization to ensure information transfer efficiency;expressive texts focus on formal imitation and rhetorical reproduction to preserve the original aesthetic value;for informative+expressive texts,flexible handling of idioms,proverbs,and stylistic forms is necessary to achieve an optimal balance between informational accuracy and aesthetic form.The study validates the applicability of functionalist theory in Chinese-Japanese translation through empirical case studies,while also revealing the prevalence of mixed text functions and the consequent demand for translator strategic flexibility.These findings not only expand the explanatory dimension of Reiss’s theory,but also provide an operational methodological framework for cross-cultural translation practice,holding practical significance for promoting in-depth communication between China and Japan.

文摘Studies show that Graph Neural Networks(GNNs)are susceptible to minor perturbations.Therefore,analyzing adversarial attacks on GNNs is crucial in current research.Previous studies used Generative Adversarial Networks to generate a set of fake nodes,injecting them into a clean GNNs to poison the graph structure and evaluate the robustness of GNNs.In the attack process,the computation of new node connections and the attack loss are independent,which affects the attack on the GNN.To improve this,a Fake Node Camouflage Attack based on Mutual Information(FNCAMI)algorithm is proposed.By incorporating Mutual Information(MI)loss,the distribution of nodes injected into the GNNs become more similar to the original nodes,achieving better attack results.Since the loss ratios of GNNs and MI affect performance,we also design an adaptive weighting method.By adjusting the loss weights in real-time through rate changes,larger loss values are obtained,eliminating local optima.The feasibility,effectiveness,and stealthiness of this algorithm are validated on four real datasets.Additionally,we use both global and targeted attacks to test the algorithm’s performance.Comparisons with baseline attack algorithms and ablation experiments demonstrate the efficiency of the FNCAMI algorithm.
