Background: Chemotherapy induced mucositis is one of the deterring factors influencing adherence to cancer treatment. Sodium bicarbonate mouth wash was recently shown to increase patients’ compliance. However, the cost implication of this strategy was never explored. Aim: This study is designed to explore the compounding of sodium bicarbonate 2% mouth wash from sodium bicarbonate powder USP and commercially procured intravenous solution, and to determine the estimated cost implication for patients using this strategy. Materials and Methods: Sodium bicarbonate 2% were compounded using commercially procured sterile intravenous 8.4% solution and powder USP, diluted and dissolved in sterile water for irrigation respectively. The estimated cost savings between the 2 methods were compared to each other as well as to savings from when used in preventing or in adjuvant therapy for chemotherapy induced mucositis. Ethical approval not required by UVA Institutional Review Board. Study conducted according to the International Standards of Good Practice. Result: We came up with a new recipe, sodium bicarbonate 2% mouth wash using commercially procured sterile liquid formulation. Due to shortage, we compounded with sodium bicarbonate powder USP. Using USP 795 regulation, we assigned 14 days beyond use date with refrigeration to these formulations. These formulations resulted in estimated cost savings of $3597.52 and $3686.56 respectively if patients were to be treated for chemotherapy induced mucositis for 21 days. When compared to commercially procured sterile liquid formulation, the use of powder USP, will lead to additional estimated 60 to 66.67% savings for patients. Conclusion: By using sodium bicarbonate powder or solution to compound a 2% mouth wash, we came up with a cheap product that could be used by patients in the moment in the hospital. We were also able to suggest ways that an estimated cost savings for patients undergoing cancer treatment that use this product can be computed. 展开更多

Objective To assess health equity in the Yangtze River region to improve understanding of the correlation between hand, foot, and mouth disease(HFMD) and socioeconomic factors. Methods From 2014–2016, data on HFMD incidence, population statistics, economic indicators, and meteorology from 26 cities along the Yangtze River were analyzed. A multi-city random-effects metaanalysis was performed to study the relationship between temperature and HFMD transmission, and health equity was assessed with respect to socio-economic impact. Results Over the study period, 919,458 HFMD cases were reported, with Shanghai(162,303) having the highest incidence and Tongling(5,513) having the lowest. Males were more commonly affected(male-to-female ratio, 1.49:1). The exposure-response relationship had an M-shaped curve, with two HFMD peaks occurring at 4 ℃ and 26 ℃. The relative risk had two peaks at 1.30 ℃(1.834, 95% CI:1.204–2.794) and 31.4 ℃(1.143, 95% CI: 0.901–1.451), forming an M shape, with the first peak higher than the second. The most significant impact of temperature on HFMD was observed between –2 ℃ and18.1 ℃. The concentration index(0.2463) indicated moderate concentration differences, whereas the Theil index(0.0418) showed low inequality in distribution. Conclusion The incidence of HFMD varied across cities, particularly with changes in temperature.Economically prosperous areas showed higher risks, indicating disparities. Targeted interventions in these areas are crucial for mitigating the risk of HFMD. 展开更多

Based on the comprehensive analysis of data from petrology and mineralogy, well logging, seismic surveys, paleontology, and geochemistry,a detailed research was conducted on paleoenvironmental and paleoclimatic conditions, and modeling of the source rocks in the second member of the Eocene Wenchang Formation(Wen 2 Member)in the Northern Shunde Subsag at the southwestern margin of the Pearl River Mouth Basin. The Wen 2 Member hosts excellent, thick lacustrine source rocks with strong longitudinal heterogeneity and an average total organic carbon(TOC)content of over 4.9%.The Wen 2 Member can be divided into three units(I,II,III)from bottom to top.Unit I features excellent source rocks with Type I organic matters(average TOC of 5.9%)primarily sourced from lake organisms;Unit II hosts source rocks dominated by Type II2 organic matters(average TOC of 2.2%),which are originated from mixed sources dominated by terrestrial input.Unit III contains good to excellent source rocks dominated by Type II1 organic matters(average TOC of 4.9%),which are mainly contributed by lake organisms and partially by terrestrial input.Under the background of rapid subsidence and limited source supply during intense rifting period in the Eocene, excellent source rocks were developed in Wen 2 Member in the Northern Shunde Subsag under the coordinated control of warm and humid climate, volcanic activity, and deep-water reducing conditions.During the deposition of Unit I,the warm and humid climate and volcanic activity promoted the proliferation of lake algaes, primarily Granodiscus, resulting in high initial productivity, and deep-water reducing conditions enabled satisfactory preservation of organic matters. These factors jointly controlled the development and occurrence of excellent source rocks.During the deposition of Unit II,a transition from warm to cool and semi-arid paleoclimatic conditions led to a decrease in lake algaes and initial productivity.Additionally, enhanced terrestrial input and shallow-water,weakly oxidizing water conditions caused a significant dilution and decomposition of organic matters, degrading the quality of source rocks.During the deposition of Unit III,when the paleoclimatic conditions are cool and humid,Pediastrum and Botryococcus began to thrive, leading to an increase in productivity.Meanwhile, the reducing environment of semi-deep water facilitated the preservation of excellent source rocks, albeit slightly inferior to those in Unit I.The study results clarify the differential origins and development models of various source rocks in the Shunde Sag,offering valuable guidance for evaluating source rocks and selecting petroleum exploration targets in similar marginal sags. 展开更多

The Zhujiang(Pearl)River Mouth Basin(PRMB)is located in the northern part of the South China Sea,and it is one of China’s three major offshore hydrocarbon-rich basins, playing an indispensable role in meeting the country’s energy needs.Exploration for oil in the PRMB started early and has achieved remarkable results in some sags, but many sags have yet to yield significant discoveries, necessitating the search for new favorable exploration areas. The aim of this study is to analyze the deep structural characteristics of various sags in the PRMB and predict favorable exploration areas, providing corresponding support for the next strategic breakthrough in oil exploration. Some studies indicate a certain relationship between the Moho depth and crustal thickness and the occurrence of oil.In this paper, based on satellite altimetry gravity anomaly data,we utilize a Moho depth inversion method based on variable residual crustal density to obtain the Moho depth in the PRMB,from which the crustal thickness and crustal stretching factor of the basin are calculated. The results show that the Moho depth in the PRMB ranges from 10 km to 37 km,the crustal thickness ranges from 7 km to 35 km,and the crustal stretching factor ranges from 0.9 to 3.0.Finally,we propose a comprehensive evaluation scheme for oil resoureces based on the CRiteria Importance Through Intercriteria Correlation(CRITIC)method, which comprehensively evaluates multiple factors, such as the Cenozoic sedimentary filling scale,Cenozoic thickness,Moho depth, crustal thickness, and crustal stretching factor, and provides evaluation criteria for identifying hydrocarbon-rich sags.According to this evaluation scheme, the exploration potential is relatively high in the Liwan Sag,Jinghai Sag,Heshan Sag,and Jieyang Sag,which are favorable exploration areas. 展开更多

Based on a set of high-resolution 3D seismic data from the northern continental margin of the South China Sea,the lithospheric structure, thinning mechanisms and related syn-rift tectonic deformation response processes in the crustal necking zone in the deepwater area of the Pearl River Mouth Basin were systematically analyzed, and the petroleum geological significance was discussed. The necking zone investigated in the study is located in the Baiyun Sag and Kaiping Sag in the deepwater area of the Pearl River Mouth Basin. These areas show extreme crustal thinned geometries of central thinning and flank thickening, characterized by multi-level and multi-dipping detachment fault systems. The necking zone exhibits pronounced lateral heterogeneity in structural architectures, which can be classified into four types of thinned crustal architectures,i.e.the wedge-shaped extremely thinned crustal architecture in the Baiyun Main Sub-sag,dumbbell-shaped moderately thinned crustal architecture in the Baiyun West Sub-sag,box-shaped weakly thinned crustal architecture in eastern Baiyun Sag,and metamorphic core complex weakly thinned crustal architecture in the Kaiping Sag.This shows great variations in the degree and style of crustal thinning, types of detachment faults, distribution of syn-rift sedimentary sequences, and intensity of magmatism. The thinning of the necking zone is controlled by the heterogeneous rheological stratification of lithosphere, intensity of mantle-derived magmatism, and deformation modes of detachment faults. The syn-rift tectonic deformation of the necking zone evolved through three phases,i.e.uniform stretching during the early Wenchang Formation deposition period, necking during the late Wenchang Formation deposition period, and hyperextension during the Enping Formation deposition period. The crustal thinning extent and architectural differentiation in these phases were primarily controlled by three distinct mechanisms,i.e.the pure shear deformation activation of pre-existing thrust faults, the simple shear deformation of crust-mantle and inter-crust detachment faults, and differential coupling of lower crustal flow and ductile domes with main detachment faults. The hydrocarbon accumulation and enrichment in the necking zone exhibit marked spatial heterogeneity.Four distinct crustal thinned architecture-hydrocarbon accumulation models were identified in this study. The hydrocarbon accumulations in the shallow part exhibit significant correlations with their deep crustal thinned architectures. The unique lithospheric structure and deformation process predominantly control the favorable hydrocarbon accumulation zones with excellent source-fault-ridge-sand configurations, which is critical to reservoir-forming.The most promising exploration targets are mainly identified on the uplift zones and their seaward-dipping flanks associated with the middle and lower crustal domes. This research provides additional insights into lithospheric thinning-breakup process at intermediate continental margins of marine sedimentary basins, being significant for guiding the deepwater petroleum exploration in the Pearl River Mouth Basin. 展开更多

Driver distraction is a leading cause of traffic accidents, with fatigue being a significant contributor. This paper introduces a novel method for detecting driver distraction by analyzing facial features using machine deep learning and 68 face model. The proposed system assesses driver tiredness by measuring the distance between key facial landmarks, such as the distance between the eyes and the angle of the mouth,to evaluate signs of drowsiness or disengagement.Real-time video feed analysis allows for continuous monitoring of the driver’s face, enabling the system to detect behavioral cues associated with distraction, such as eye closures or changes in facial expressions. The effectiveness of this method is demonstrated through a series of experiments on a dataset of driver videos, which proves that the approach can accurately assess tiredness and distraction levels under various driving conditions.By focusing on facial landmarks, the system is computationally efficient and capable of operating in real-time,making it a practical solution for in-vehicle safety systems. This paper discusses the system’s performance, limitations, and potential for future enhancements, including integration with other in-vehicle technologies to provide comprehensive driver monitoring. 展开更多

The coupling relationship between shelf-edge deltas and deep-water fan sand bodies is a hot and cutting-edge field of international sedimentology and deep-water oil and gas exploration.Based on the newly acquired high-resolution 3D seismic, logging and core data of Pearl River Mouth Basin(PRMB),this paper dissected the shelf-edge delta to deep-water fan(SEDDF)depositional system in the Oligocene Zhuhai Formation of Paleogene in south subsag of Baiyun Sag,and revealed the complex coupling relationship from the continental shelf edge to deep-water fan sedimentation and its genetic mechanisms. The results show that during the deposition of the fourth to first members of the Zhuhai Formation, the scale of the SEDDF depositional system in the study area showed a pattern of first increasing and then decreasing, with deep-water fan developed in the third to first members and the largest plane distribution scale developed in the late stage of the second member.Based on the development of SEDDF depositional system along the source direction, three types of coupling relationships are divided, namely, deltas that are linked downdip to fans, deltas that lack downdip fans and fans that lack updip coeval deltas, with different depositional characteristics and genetic mechanisms.(1)Deltas that are linked downdip to fans:with the development of shelf-edge deltas in the shelf area and deep-water fans in the downdip slope area, and the strong source supply and relative sea level decline are the two key factors which control the development of this type of source-to-sink(S2S).The development of channels on the continental shelf edge is conducive to the formation of this type of S2S system even with weak source supply and high sea level.(2)Deltas that lack downdip fans:with the development of shelf edge deltas in shelf area, while deep water fans are not developed in the downdip slope area. The lack of“sources”and“channels”,and fluid transformation are the three main reasons for the formation of this type of S2S system.(3)Fans that lack updip coeval deltas:with the development of deep-water fans in continental slope area and the absence of updip coeval shelf edge deltas, which is jointly controlled by the coupling of fluid transformation at the shelf edge and the“channels”in the continental slope area. 展开更多

Based on the practice of oil and gas exploration in the Huizhou Sag of the Pearl River Mouth Basin, the geochemical indexes of source rocks were measured, the reservoir development morphology was restored, the rocks and minerals were characterized microscopically, the measured trap sealing indexes were compared, the biomarker compounds of crude oil were extracted, the genesis of condensate gas was identified, and the reservoir-forming conditions were examined. On this basis, the Paleogene Enping Formation in the Huizhou 26 subsag was systematically analyzed for the potential of oil and gas resources, the development characteristics of large-scale high-quality conglomerate reservoirs, the trapping effectiveness of faults, the hydrocarbon migration and accumulation model, and the formation conditions and exploration targets of large-and medium-sized glutenite-rich oil and gas fields. The research results were obtained in four aspects.First, the Paleogene Wenchang Formation in the Huizhou 26 subsag develops extensive and thick high-quality source rocks of semi-deep to deep lacustrine subfacies, which have typical hydrocarbon expulsion characteristics of"great oil generation in the early stage and huge gas expulsion in the late stage",providing a sufficient material basis for hydrocarbon accumulation in the Enping Formation.Second, under the joint control of the steep slope zone and transition zone of the fault within the sag,the large-scale near-source glutenite reservoirs are highly heterogeneous, with the development scale dominated hierarchically by three factors(favorable facies zone, particle component, and microfracture). The(subaqueous)distributary channels near the fault system, with equal grains,a low mud content(<5%),and a high content of feldspar composition, are conducive to the development of sweet spot reservoirs.Third, the strike-slip pressurization trap covered by stable lake flooding mudstone is a necessary condition for oil and gas preservation, and the NE and nearly EW faults obliquely to the principal stress have the best control on traps.Fourth, the spatiotemporal configuration of high-quality source rocks, fault transport/sealing,and glutenite reservoirs controls the degree of hydrocarbon enrichment. From top to bottom, three hydrocarbon accumulation units,i.e.low-fill zone, transition zone, and high-fill zone, are recognized. The main area of the channel in the nearly pressurized source-connecting fault zone is favorable for large-scale hydrocarbon enrichment. The research results suggest a new direction for the exploration of large-scale glutenite-rich reservoirs in the Enping Formation of the Pearl River Mouth Basin, and present a major breakthrough in oil and gas exploration. 展开更多

By conducting organic geochemical analysis of the samples taken from the drilled wells in Baiyun Sag of Pearl River Mouth Basin,China, the development characteristics of hydrocarbon source rocks in the sag are clarified.Reconstruct the current geothermal field of the sag and restore the tectonic-thermal evolution process to predict the type, scale, and distribution of resources in Baiyun Sag through thermal pressure simulation experiments and numerical simulation. The Baiyun Sag is characterized by the development of Paleogene shallow lacustrine source rocks, which are deposited in a slightly oxidizing environment. The source rocks are mainly composed of terrestrial higher plants, with algae making a certain contribution, and are oil and gas source rocks.Current geothermal field of the sag was reconstructed,in which the range of geothermal gradients is(3.5–5.2)℃/100 m,showing an overall increasing trend from northwest to southeast, with significant differences in geothermal gradients across different sub-sags.Baiyun Sag has undergone two distinct periods of extensional process, the Eocene and Miocene, since the Cenozoic era. These two periods of heating and warming events have been identified, accelerating the maturation and evolution of source rocks. The main body of ancient basal heat flow value reached its highest at 13.82 Ma.The basin modelling results show that the maturity of source rocks is significantly higher in Baiyun main sub-sag than that in other sub-sags.The Eocene Wenchang Formation is currently in the stage of high maturity to over maturity, while the Eocene Enping Formation has reached the stage of maturity to high maturity. The rock thermal simulation experiment shows that the shallow lacustrine mudstone of the Wenchang Formation has a good potential of generating gas from kerogen cracking with high gas yield and long period of gas window.Shallow lacustrine mudstone of the Enping Formation has a good ability to generate light oil,and has ability to generate kerogen cracking gas in the late stage. The gas yield of shallow lacustrine mudstone of the Enping Formation is less than that of shallow lacustrine mudstone of the Wenchang Formation and the delta coal-bearing mudstone of the Enping Formation. The numerical simulation results indicate that the source rocks of Baiyun main sub-sag generate hydrocarbons earlier and have significantly higher hydrocarbon generation intensity than other sub-sags,with an average of about 1200×10^(4)t/km^(2).Oil and gas resources were mainly distributed in Baiyun main sub-sag and the main source rocks are distributed in the 3^(rd)and 4^(th)members of Wenchang Formation.Four favorable zones are selected for the division and evaluation of migration and aggregation units:No.(1)Panyu 30 nose-shaped structural belt,No.(3)Liuhua 29 nose-shaped uplift belt and Liwan 3 nose-shaped uplift belt,No.(2)gentle slope belt of Baiyun east sag,and No.(8)Baiyun 1 low-uplift. 展开更多

A transfer zone in rift basins preserves important information on regional tectonic evolution and plays significant roles in hydrocarbon accumulation.Based on the systematic analysis of 3D seismic data and hydrocarbon accumulation conditions, the geometry, kinematics, and reservoir control of a large synthetic overlapping transfer zone in the south of the Wenchang A subsag in the Zhujiang(Pearl)River Mouth basin were investigated. Results indicate that the development and evolution of the transfer zone was controlled by the interaction between pre-existing faults and regional stress transformation. The intense rifting of the main faults of the transfer zone controlled the development of source rocks and faultcontrolled slope break paleogeomorphology. The strike-slip overprint since the Oligocene is conducive to the formation of a large-scale fault-anticline trap, and the secondary faults in the transfer zone contribute to the hydrocarbon transportation. The conjugate intersection area of the NE-and NW-trending faults offers more opportunity for hydrocarbon migration and accumulation. 展开更多

Based on high-resolution 3D seismic data acquired in the Pearl(Zhujiang)River Mouth Basin of the northern South China Sea,this study investigated the geometry, spatial extension, and throw distribution of the post-rift normal fault through detailed seismic interpretation and fault modeling.A total of 289 post-rift normal faults were identified in the study area and can be classified into four types:(1)isolated normal faults above the carbonate platform;(2)isolated normal faults cutting through the carbonate platform;(3)conjugate normal faults,and(4)connecting normal faults.Throw distribution analysis on the fault planes show that the vertical throw profiles of most normal fault exhibit flat-topped profiles.Isolated normal faults above the carbonate platform exhibit roughly concentric ellipses with maximum throw zones in the central section whereas the normal faults cutting through the carbonate platform miss the lowermost section due to the chaotic seismic reflections in the interior of the carbonate platform. The vertical throws of conjugate normal faults anomalously decrease toward their intersection region on the fault plane whereas the connecting normal faults present two maximum throw zones in the central section of the fault plane.According to the symmetric elliptical distribution model of fault throw,an estimation was made indicating that normal faults cutting through the carbonate platform extended downward between-1308 s and-1780 s(two-way travel time)in depth and may not penetrate the entire Liuhua carbonate platform. Moreover,it is observed that the distribution of karst caves on the top of the carbonate platform disaccord with those of hydrocarbon reservoirs and the post-rift normal faults cutting through the carbonate platform in the study area.We propose that these karst caves formed most probably by corrosive fluids derived from magmatic activities during the Dongsha event, rather than pore waters or hydrocarbons. 展开更多

Objective:To explore which pattern recognition receptors(PRRs)play a key role in the development of hand, foot, and mouth disease(HFMD)by analyzing PRR-associated genes. Methods:We conducted a comparative analysis of PRR-associated gene expression in human peripheral blood mononuclear cells(PBMCs)infected with enterovirus 71(EV-A71)which were derived from patients with HFMD of different severities and at different stages.A total of 30 PRR-associated genes were identified as significantly upregulated both over time and across different EV-A71 isolates.Subsequently,ELISA was employed to quantify the expression of the six most prominent genes among these 30 identified genes,specifically,BST2,IRF7,IFI16,TRIM21,MX1,and DDX58.Results:Compared with those at the recovery stage, the expression levels of BST2(P=0.027),IFI16(P=0.016),MX1(P=0.046)and DDX58(P=0.008)in the acute stage of infection were significantly upregulated, while no significant difference in the expression levels of IRF7(P=0.495)and TRIM21(P=0.071)was found between different stages of the disease. The expression levels of BST2,IRF7,IFI16 and MX1 were significantly higher in children infected with single pathogen than those infected with mixed pathogens, and BST2,IRF7,IFI16 and MX1 expression levels were significantly lower in coxsackie B virus(COXB)positive patients than the negative patients.Expression levels of one or more of BST2,IRF7,IFI16,TRIM21,MX1 and DDX58 genes were correlated with PCT levels, various white blood cell counts, and serum antibody levels that reflect disease course of HFMD.Aspartate aminotransferase was correlated with BST2,MX1 and DDX58 expression levels.Conclusions:PRR-associated genes likely initiate the immune response in patients at the acute stage of HFMD. 展开更多

The establishment of effective proxies for the differentiation of sedimentary facies in the tide-dominated river mouth is fundamental to the delineation of stratigraphy and the study of paleoenvironments.Geochemical signatures of the acetic acid(HAc)extractive phases of alkaline earth metals, such as Sr,Ba,and Ca,are closely related to sedimentary environments and thus provide a novel method for discriminating the sedimentary facies of river mouth. In this study,50 surface water and surface sediment samples were obtained from different geomorphological units of the Jiulong River mouth,i.e.,river channel, distributary channel, delta front, delta front slope, prodelta, and shallow marine area, and the salinity of the water, the grain size, and the Sr,Ba,and Ca contents and Sr/Ba molar ratio(Sr/Ba)in HAc leachates of the sediments were determined.Contents of alkaline earth metals in HAc leachates of surface sediments from the Changjiang(Yangtze)River coast were also collated. The goals of this study were to reveal the spatial distribution of alkaline earth metals in the Jiulong River mouth, define their depositional mechanisms, and search for effective geochemical proxies for identification of the various sedimentary facies in the fluvial to marine transition zone. The results revealed several land-to-sea gradients. The Ba content decreased rapidly from the distributary channel to the sea,and the Sr and Ca contents and Sr/Ba increased gradually with the increase in salinity.Salinity, marine biomass, and sedimentary dynamic processes, were speculated to be the main reasons for the differences in their spatial distributions. There were significant differences in Ba,Sr,Ca,and Sr/Ba between the river channel and the distributary channel,in Ca and Ba between the distributary channel and the delta front(slope),and in Sr,Ca,and Sr/Ba between the delta front(slope)and the prodelta-shallow marine region. The Sr-Ba scatterplot showed that the sediments of the river channel and alluvial plain were located as a high Ba and low Sr element-defined end-member,whereas samples of the prodelta and shallow marine formed a high Sr and low Ba end-member.These can be used as characteristic end-members indicating terrestrial facies and marine facies, respectively. The sediments of the delta plain, tidal river, distributary channel, delta front, and delta front slope are located between these two end-member regions of the scatterplot, and this region of the diagram can be used to identify land-sea transitional sedimentary facies. 展开更多

In this article, the transmission dynamics of a Hand-Foot-Mouth disease model with treatment and vaccination interventions are studied. We calculated the basic reproduction number and proved the global stability of disease-free equilibrium when R0 R0 > 1. Meanwhile, we obtained the optimal control strategies minimizing the cost of intervention and minimizing the infected person. We also give some numerical simulations to verify our theoretical results. 展开更多

According to the complete genome of foot-and-mouth disease virus(FMDV)type O,a pair of special primers was designed to amplify VP1 gene. The VP1 gene was amplified by RT-PCR and subsequently inserted into the expression vector pGEX-6p-1 and induced by IPTG.Then SDS-PAGE showed the expressed protein was 51 kD in molecular weight. Then the product was purified by GSTrap FF columns. The product was detected through Western-blot that showed the protein has antigenicity. It provided fundamental data and materials for further investigation on diagnosis method of FMDV. 展开更多

The mouth bar in the Yangtze estuarine waterways has a significant influence on navigational transport within the estuary, flood discharge and construction of the Shanghai Port. In this paper the morphological evolution and mechanisms of mouth bar formation of the Yangtze estuarine waterways are studied by analyzing hundreds of years of historical data and the latest profile maps of some or the main mouth bar channels in the Yangtze Estuary. The results are shown as follows: The mouth bars in the North Branch have moved gradually from outside the mouth to the inside and formed a huge sand bar. In the North Channel, the head of the mouth bar has migrated about 30 kilometers downstream, and a channel bar has been developing since 2001. Two mouth bar tops, which always existed in the North Passage disappeared in 2010. The head of the mouth bar in the South Passage has migrated downstream about 14 km and the number of tops increased at first but is reduced to only one now. According to the results, we can conclude that the evolution of the mouth bars differs depending on their location. In the North Branch it is directly related to large-scale reclamation in Chongming Island, but in the North Passage it has a close relationship with regulation of the Yangtze Estuary Deepwater Channel. However, the evolution of mouth bars in the North Channel and South Passage is not only connected with the Yangtze Estuary Deepwater Channel Regulation Project, but also with the reclamation in the East Hengsha Shoal and the closure of the Qingcaosha Reservoir. 展开更多
