Thousands of radioactive mixed resins(MR)generated from nuclear industry can be processed by molten salt oxidation.There are three stages during the MSO process of MR:(1)the evaporation process(25-200℃);the thermal d...Thousands of radioactive mixed resins(MR)generated from nuclear industry can be processed by molten salt oxidation.There are three stages during the MSO process of MR:(1)the evaporation process(25-200℃);the thermal decomposition of the functional groups(200—450℃);(3)the depolymerization of styrene-divinylbenzene(450-800℃).Moreover,the thermal decomposition of the functional groups can be further divided into the thermal decomposition of the quaternary ammonium group(200-300℃)and the spitting off of the sulfonic acid group(300-450℃).NO and SO_(2),respectively,were produced by the destruction of these functional groups.The carbonate salt can effectively adsorb NO and SO_(2),whose contents decrease from 17.72%to 3.32%to 2.08%and 1.45%.Moreover,the sulfate contents in molten salt can be promoted by the generation of nitrate,which increase from 12.87%to25.44%at 500℃.The change of the standard Gibbs free energy(ΔG_(m)^(θ))of the reactions about the generations of nitrate and sulfur species,and the reactions between the nitrate and sulfur species were also proved by the calculation results of HSC chemistry 6.0.Both experimental and calculated results support the finding that the generation of nitrate from MR can catalyze the further oxidation of residue.展开更多

Results and Conclusion Compared with several other reliability models, it has obvious effect upon improving the system reliability. The effect? cost rate is very high among these models. METHODS: HBx expression vector pcDNA3.1-X was transfected into HepG2 cells to establish an HBx high- expression cellular model as pcDNA3.1-X transfected group. The pcDNA3.1-X and pSilencer3.1-shHBX (HBx antagonist) were cotransfected into HepG2 cells to es- tablish an HBx low-expression model as RNAi group. Untransfected HepG2 cells and HepG2 cells transfected with negative control plasmid were used as controls. Apoptosis rate, the expression of Fas/FasL signaling pathway-related proteins and the phosphorylation lev- els of MLK3, MKK7 and JNKs, which are upstream molecules of death receptor pathways and belong to the family of mitogen-activated protein kinases (MAPKs),were measured in each group RESULTS: Compared with HepG2 cell group and RNAi group, apoptosis rate, the expression of Fas and FasL proteins, and the activation of MLK3, MKK7 and 3NKs were increased in the pcDNA3.1-X transfected group. The activation of JNKs and expression of FasL protein were inhibited in the pcDNA3.1-X transfected group when treated with a known JNK inhibitor, SP600125. When authors treated pcDNA3.1-X transfected group with K252a, a known MLK3 inhibitor, the activation of MLK3, MKK7 and 3NKs as well as expression of FasL protein was inhibited. Furthermore, cell apoptosis rate was also significantly declined in the presence of K252a in the pcDNA3.1-X transfected group. CONCLUSION: HBx can induce HepG2 cell apoptosis via a novel active MLK3-MKK7-JNKs signaling module to upregulate FasL protein expression.展开更多

According to the principle of complex leaching, the quadratic orthogonal regression experiment was used to investigate effect of six factors. An optimal condition of low energy and environment friendly was determined as follows: HCl acidity is 4 mol.L-1, AlCl3 concentration is 2 mol.L-l, reaction temperature is 85 ℃, reaction time is 90 rain, liquid to solid ratio is 35 ml.g-1, and stirring speed is 100 r.min-1. According to this condition, the leaching ratio of mixed rare earth con- centrate is 76.5 %. The analyses of X-ray diffraction shows that bastnasite disappears, and the main peaks of filter residue is monazite and cheralite after leaching of HCl- AlCl3 solution. The result indicates that REFCO3 of the mixed rare earth concentrate can be dissolved, but REPO4 remains in the leaching residue. This method provides a way to separate and extract rare earth.展开更多
Samples of cerium-manganese oxides supported on modified glass-fiber with different Ce/Mn molar ratios (Ce-Mn/GF) were prepared by an impregnation method and tested for low-temperature (80 180 ℃) selective cataly...Samples of cerium-manganese oxides supported on modified glass-fiber with different Ce/Mn molar ratios (Ce-Mn/GF) were prepared by an impregnation method and tested for low-temperature (80 180 ℃) selective catalytic reduction (SCR) of NO with ammonia. This brand-new technology could remove NO and particles matter from coal-fired flue gas. The surface properties of the catalysts were examined by means of Bmnauer-Emmett-Teller (BET), X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), X-ray diffraction (XRD), and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). The experimental results showed that the catalyst with a Ce/Mn molar ratio of 0.2 obtained high activity of 87.4% NO conversion at 150 ℃ under a high space velocity of 50000 h1. Deactivation poisoned by SO2 still occurred, but the Ce-Mn/GF(0.2) catalyst performed desirable tolerance to SO2 with decreasing 50% in 40 min and then maintaining at about 30% NO conversion. Characterization results indicated that the excellent low-temperature catalytic activity was related to the high specific surface area, pore structure, and amorphous phase.展开更多
Our previous study showed that when glutamate receptor (GluR)6 C terminus-containing peptide conjugated with the human immunodeficiency virus Tat protein (GluR6)-9c is delivered into hippocampal neurons in a brain...Our previous study showed that when glutamate receptor (GluR)6 C terminus-containing peptide conjugated with the human immunodeficiency virus Tat protein (GluR6)-9c is delivered into hippocampal neurons in a brain ischemic model, the activation of mixed lineage kinase 3 (MLK3) and c-Jun NH2-terminal kinase (JNK) is inhibited via GluR6-postsynaptic density protein 95 (PSD95). In the present study, we investigated whether the recombinant adenovirus (Ad) carrying GluR6c could suppress the assembly of the GluR6-PSD95-MLK3 signaling module and decrease neuronal cell death induced by kainate in hippocampal CA1 subregion. A seizure model in Sprague-Dawley rats was induced by intraperitoneal injections of kainate. The effect of Ad- Glur6-9c on the phosphorylation of INK, MLK3 and mitogen-activated ldnase kinase 7 (MKK7) was observed with western immunoblots and immunohistochemistry. Our findings revealed that overexpression of GluR6c inhibited the interaction of GluR6 with PSD95 and prevented the kainate-induced activation of INK, MLK3 and MKK7. Furthermore, kainate-mediated neuronal cell death was significantly suppressed by GluR6c. Taken together, GluR6 may play a pivotal role in neuronal cell death.展开更多
