Magnetic field strength is 0.05~0.32 T at the center of the crucible and can be adjusted continuously. The encapsulatent with a thickness of 2~5 mm is a KCl+NaCl (1∶1 in mole) melt. Mass spectrograph has been used to analyze both MLEC and LEC samples. The relationship between crystal properties and magnetic strength has been studied and the free exciton peak observed in the PL spectra of an undoped MLEC sample. The above results show that the distribution of electric parameters along the longitudinal MLEC crystals is more uniform than that of LEC ones. The electronic mobility of Te doped MLEC samples at 77 K is higher than that of LEC crystals. It is found that the presence of a horizontal magnetic field during crystal growth can reduce the impurity content in MLEC samples.展开更多
