In the first part, we are concerned with the locally Hlder continuity of quasi-minima of the following integral functional ∫Ωf(x, u, Du)dx, (1) where Ω is an open subset of Euclidean N-space (N ≥ 3), u:Ω → R,the Carath′eodory function f satisfies the critical Sobolev exponent growth condition |Du|^p* |u|^p*-a(x) ≤ f(x,u,Du) ≤ L(|Du|^p+|u|^p* + a(x)), (2) where L≥1, 1pN,p^* = Np/N-p , and a(x) is a nonnegative function that lies in a suitable Lp space. Our method is to compare the ω-minima of (1) with the minima of corresponding function determined by its critical Sobolev exponent growth condition. This paper deals with the reachability problem of the ACF, that is, how to design and choose the parameters of the ACF and how the environment should be such that the robot can reach its goal without being trapped in local minima. Some sufficient conditions for these purposes are developed theoretically. Theoretical analyses show that, the ACF can effectively remove local minima in dynamic uncertain environments with V-shape or U-shape obstacles, and guide the mobile robot to reach its goal with some necessary environment constraints and based on the methods provided in this paper to properly choose the parameters of the ACF. Comparisons between the ACF and APF, and simulations are provided to illustrate the advantages of the ACF.展开更多

The full-length sequence of the ribosomal gene in <span style="font-family:Verdana;">Blidingia minima<span style="font-family:Verdana;"> is 8676 bp, including the 1759 bp 18S rDNA, 576 bp internal transcribed spacer (ITS) + 5.8S rDNA, 3282 bp 28S <span style="font-family:Verdana;">rDNA, and 3059 bp intergenic spacer (IGS) region. We then carried out a series<span style="font-family:Verdana;"> of genetic analyses based on the ITS and IGS sequences, to verify whether IGS <span style="font-family:Verdana;">sequences are useful for studying the genetic diversity of green algae from different locations. We amplified the IGS sequences of <span style="font-family:Verdana;">Blidingia minima<span style="font-family:Verdana;"> from 10 different locations in the Yellow Sea. In this work, an extrema identification that is totally independent of derivative-based approaches and independent of quantitative attributes is introduced. For three consecutive positive terms arranged in a line, the ratio (R) of the sum of the maximum and minimum to the sum of the three terms is always 2/n, where n is the number of terms and 2/3 ≤ R ≤ 1 when n = 3. R > 2/3 implies that one term is away from the other two terms. Applying suitable modifications for the above stated hypothesis, the method was developed and the method is capable of identifying peaks and valleys in any signal. Furthermore, three techniques were developed for filtering non-dominating, sharp, gradual, low and high extrema. Especially, all the developed methods are non-parametric and suitable for analyzing processes that have dynamic nature such as biogas data. The methods were evaluated using automatically collected biogas data. Results showed that the extrema identification method was capable of identifying local extrema with 0% error. Furthermore, the non-parametric filtering techniques were able to distinguish dominating, flat, sharp, high, and low extrema in the biogas data with high robustness.展开更多
