This study was designed to address the impacts of science performance,science self-concept,and creative tendency on the creative science problem-finding(CSPF)ability of a sample of Chinese middle-school students.Structural equation modeling was used to indicate that CSPF could be directly predicted by creative tendency and academic performance,and indirectly predicted by science self-concept.The findings strongly support the idea that curiosity,imagination,and domain-specific knowledge are important for CSPF,and science self-concept could be mediated by knowledge that affects CSPF. 展开更多
