High-Performance Supercapacitor Electrodes from Optimized Single-Step Carbonized Michelia Champaca Biomass 被引量:1

This study explores the potential of Michelia champaca wood as a sustainable and locally available precursor for the fabrication of high-performance supercapacitor electrodes.Activated carbons were synthesized through single-step carbonization at 400℃ and 500℃(SSC-400℃ and SSC-500℃) and double-step carbonization at 400℃(DSC-400℃),with all samples activated using H_(3)PO_(4).The effects of carbonization stratergy on the structural,morphological,and electrochemical characteristics of the resulting carbon materials were systematically evaluated,using techniques such as BET,SEM,TEM,XRD,Raman scattering,FTIR,CV,GCD and EIS.Among the samples,SSC-400℃ exhibited the best electrochemical performance,achieving a specific capacitance of 292.2 Fg^(-1),an energy density of 6.4 Wh kg^(-1),and a power density of 198.4 W kg^(-1).This superior performance is attributed to its optimized pore structure,improved sur-face functionality and enhanced conductivity.SSC-500℃showed marginally lower performance,whereas,DSC-400℃ displayed the least favorable results,indicating that double-step carbonization process may negatively affect material quality by disrupting the pore network.This work highlights a strong correlation between synthesis methodology and electrochemical efficiency,directly reinforcing the importance of process optimization in electrode material develop-ment.The findings contribute to the broader goal of developing cost-effective,renewable and environmentally friendly energy storage systems.By valorizing biomass waste,the study supports global movements toward green energy technologies and circular carbon economies,offering a viable pathway for sustainable supercapacitor development and practical applications in energy storage devices. 展开更多

Tree species composition was important for carbon storage within the same climate range.To quantify the dynamics of ecosystem carbon allocation as affected by different tree species,we measured the above-and below-ground biomass accumulation in 22 years,as well as the tissue carbon concentrations of trees in Cunninghamia lanceolata plantation and Michelia macclurei plantation.Results indicated that M.macclurei plantation significantly stored more carbon(174.8 tons/hm2) than C.lanceolata plantation(154.3 tons/hm2).Most of the carbon was found in the soil pool(57.1% in M.macclurei plantation,55.2% in C.lanceolata plantation).Tree and soil component of M.macclurei plantation possessed significantly higher carbon storage than that of C.lanceolata plantation(p 〈 0.05).No significant difference was found in the carbon storage of understory and forest floor.These results suggest that the broadleaved species(M.macclurei) possesses greater carbon sequestration potential than the coniferous species(C.lanceolata) in southern China. 展开更多

Objective: To outline the antibacterial, antioxidant, a-glucosidase inhibition and anticancer properties of Michelia nilagirica(M. nilagirica) bark extract.Methods: The antibacterial activity of bark extracts against human pathogens was assessed by disc diffusion assay. Phytochemical screening, total phenols, flavonoids content, antioxidant and a-glucosidase inhibition properties of bark extracts were investigated by standard methods. In vitro anticancer activity of ethyl acetate extract at various concentrations was observed against Hep G2 cells using MTT [3-(4, 5-dimethyl thiazol-2 yl)-2,5-diphenyl tetrazolium bromide] assay. The presence of diverse bioactive constituents in the ethyl acetate extract was identified using FT-IR and GC–MS analysis.Results: Ethyl acetate extract was found to be the promising agent against human pathogens tested. The ethyl acetate extracts showed the presence of various phytochemicals and comprised the substantial content of phenolics and flavonoids. The ethyl acetate extract showed better antioxidant activities and also revealed remarkable reducing power ability and a-glucosidase inhibition property. The dose dependent assay of extract showed remarkable cancer cell death with IC_(50) value of(303.26 ± 2.30) mg/m L. FTIR and GC–MS results indicated the presence of major bioactive constituents in the ethyl acetate extract of M. nilagirica bark.Conclusions: Revealing the first report on in vitro biological properties and chemical composition analysis of M. nilagirica bark extract, our study implied that this plant could be of great importance in food and pharmaceutical industries. 展开更多

Based on the theory of forest burning link, the combustibility of the 6-year-old Chinese fir (Cunninghamia lanceolata) and macclure michelia (Michelia macclurei) mixed forest was determined in Youxi County, Fujian Province from 1988 to 1989. The results show that the daily mean moisture in the forest, moisture content of litter and the water reserves of the stand in mixed forest are 3%, 7.6% and 46.8% higher than that in pure stand respectively, the inflammables quantity and energy ratios of the stand biomass and total potential energy in mixed stand are 8.5% and 3.69% lower than that in pure stand respectively. Objective: To discover the mechanism behind ameliorative effects of Michelia champaca(M. champaca) in gastrointestinal, respiratory and cardiovascular disorders. Methods: Antispasmodic potential was evaluated by trying the M. champaca extract(aqueous:ethanolic) on rabbit aorta, trachea and jejunum in vitro. Isotonic and isometric transducers coupled with Power Lab data acquisition system was used to record the responses of isolated tissues. Results: M. champaca extract relaxed the spontaneous and high K^+(80 mmol/L)-induced contractions of isolated jejunum preparation of rabbit showing a Ca^(2+) channel blocking mechanism. Moreover, extract shifted calcium concentration response curves towards right like standard calcium channel blocker verapamil. In rabbit tracheal preparation, M. champaca relaxed both carbachol(1 μmol/L) and high K^+-induced contractions, likewise verapamil. In rabbit aorta preparation, M. champaca relaxed phenylephrine(1 μmol/L) and high K^+-induced contractions similar to verapamil. Conclusion: M. champaca possesses spasmolytic, airways relaxant and vasodilator actions mediated perhaps due to blocking of Ca^(2+) channels, hence validating its therapeutic usage in diarrhea, asthma and hypertension. 展开更多

Arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi(AMF) and dark septate endophyte(DSE) colonization were investigated in three different plantation sites(Umdihar,Umsaw and Mawlein) of Meghalaya,northeast India.Isolation and identification of the AMF spore were conducted to evaluate the AMF diversity and host preference in terms of AMF species distribution and abundance in the plantation sites.Results showed that AMF colonization was significantly higher than dark septate endophyte colonization(p〉0.05).AMF and DSE colonization had a narrow range of colonization,varying from 50.91%-58.95% and 1.84%-4.11%,respectively.Spore density varied significantly in all the sites(p〉0.05).Out of 29 species identified from 7 genera,the species from Glomus was found to be highly abundant.Sorenson coefficient(Cs) ranged from 0.35-7.0.Species richness varied from 2.0-2.9 in the sites.Total species richness was significantly correlated with total relative abundance(p=0.001).The distribution,abundance and principal component analysis plot suggest that Glomus macrocarpum,G.multicaulis,G.constrictum and Acaulospora sp 1 were the most host preferred species which possibly may favour the host with proper nutrient acquisition and growth. 展开更多

Michelia macclurei Dandy is a significant tree species that has extensive cultivation for forestry and horticulture purposes in southern China,owing to its economic and practical importance.Light quality influences plantlet growth and development during tissue culture.However,the growth characteristic and molecular regulation of M.macclurei under different light quality conditions are not well understood yet.In this study,we investigated the morphological,chlorophyll content,and transcriptomic responses of M.macclurei plantlets under different light-emitting diode(LED)qualities,including white,blue,and red light.The results showed that blue light significantly increased plant height(21.29%)and leaf number(18.65%),while red light decreased plant height and leaf number by 7.53%and 16.49%,respectively.In addition,the plantlets’chlorophyll content and etiolation rate were significantly reduced by blue and red light quality compared to white light.Compared to white light,blue light had a negative effect,leading to decreased rooting rate(64.28%),root number(72.72%),and root length(75.86%).Conversely,red light had a positive effect,resulting in increased rooting rate(24.99%),root number(109.58%),and root length(72.72%).Transcriptome analysis identified 54 differentially expressed genes(DEGs)in three groups that consisted of blue light vs.white light(BL-vs-WL),red light vs.white light(RL-vs-WL),and red light vs.blue light(RL-vs-BL).Specifically,21,7,and 41 DEGs were identified in the three groups,respectively.The DEGs found in the RL-vs-WL and BL-vs-WL groups were involved in plant hormone signaling,nitrogen metabolism,and phenylpropanoid biosynthesis pathways,which suggests that M.macclurei plantlets adapt to the changes of light quality via modulating gene expression.Overall,our study provides valuable insights for understanding the molecular and morphological responses of M.macclurei plantlets under different light qualities. 展开更多

黄心夜合(Michelia martinii)是木兰科含笑属乔木,具有很高的观赏价值,是优良的香料和用材树种。然而其野生资源保存状况不容乐观,被1999颁布的《国家重点保护野生植物名录(第一批)》列为Ⅱ级珍稀濒危植物,现在其保护级别为近危(NT)。... 黄心夜合(Michelia martinii)是木兰科含笑属乔木,具有很高的观赏价值,是优良的香料和用材树种。然而其野生资源保存状况不容乐观,被1999颁布的《国家重点保护野生植物名录(第一批)》列为Ⅱ级珍稀濒危植物,现在其保护级别为近危(NT)。预测气候变化对分布范围的影响可为黄心夜合的野生资源保存与可持续利用提供科学基础和参考依据。利用ArcGIS 10.4与MaxEnt 3.4.1软件分析了黄心夜合在全国范围内的潜在地理分布,并与DIVA-GIS 7.5软件的Bioclim和Domain模型进行比较,选择了预测结果最佳模型MaxEnt,继而预测了21世纪50和70年代4种气候情景(RCP 2.6、RCP 4.5、RCP 6.0、RCP 8.5)下其适生区分布范围。结果表明,MaxEnt模型预测黄心夜合潜在生境分布的精度最高,受试者特征曲线(receiver operating characteristic,ROC)训练集的线下面积(area under ROC curve,AUC)为0.977;最干月降雨量、海拔、昼夜温差月均值、年均降雨量是影响黄心夜合分布的主要气候因子,其贡献率分别为43.8%、20.7%、15.2%、8.8%。现阶段黄心夜合的高、中、低适生区以贵州省为中心向四周扩散,适生区总面积共约5.7×10^(5)km^(2)。21世纪50和70年代其适生区分布基本格局不变,21世纪50年代除了RCP 8.5情景外,黄心夜合的低、中适生区以及适生区面积总和增加。21世纪70年代,黄心夜合的中、高适生区及总适生区面积均有所减少。未来全球气候变暖会造成黄心夜合的高适生区大幅缩减。未来大部分情景下,黄心夜合的分布质心均有向东北方迁移的趋势。黄心夜合保护的难点在于其适生区域之间相互孤立、相隔较远,加剧了其灭绝的可能。未来对于黄心夜合濒危资源的保护应结合地理分布的预测结果,从野生资源调查、野外回归的迁地保护、就地建立保护区、开展繁殖与栽培技术研究等方面入手。 展开更多

The volatile oils from leaves of Michelia chapensis Dandy and M. foveolata Merr.ex Dandy were isolated by organic solvent extraction and their components were analyzed and quantified by GC/MS. Then, the total anti-oxidation capacity and simulated SOD activity were tested. Forty-four compounds in M. chapensis were identified and the main constituents are aromatic (11.057%), ester (5.041%) and terpenoid compounds (19.772%). Fifty-two compounds in M. foveolata were identified, and their main constituents are aromatic (21.293%), alcohol (17.403%), alkene (6.909%), ester (5.657%) and alkane compounds (5.134%). The results showed that the two oils have strong anti-oxidation capacity and simulated SOD activity. The total anti-oxidation capacities were the highest when the volatile oil from M. foveolata was diluted by 50 times and that from M.chapensis by 100 times. The simulated SOD activity of volatile oil from M. chapensis was higher than that from M. foveolata, and CuZn-SODs in the two oils held 73%-74% of the total SOD. These results will provide scientific foundation for the exploration of the bioactivity of M. chapensis and M. foveolata. 展开更多

Michelia alba DC is a highly valuable ornamental plant of the Magnoliaceae family.This evergreen tropical tree commonly grows in Southeast Asia and is adored for its delightful fragrance.Our study assembled the M.alba haplotype genome MC and MM by utilizing Nanopore ultralong reads,Pacbio Hifi long reads and parental second-generation data.Moreover,the first methylation map of Magnoliaceae was constructed based on the methylation site data obtained using Nanopore data.Metabolomic datasets were generated from the flowers of three different species to assess variations in pigment and volatile compound accumulation.Finally,transcriptome data were generated to link genomic,methylation,and morphological patterns to reveal the reasons underlying the differences between M.alba and its parental lines in petal color,flower shape,and fragrance.We found that the AP1 and AP2 genes are crucial in M.alba petal formation,while the 4CL,PAL,and C4H genes control petal color.The data generated in this study serve as a foundation for future physiological and biochemical research on M.alba,facilitate the targeted improvement of M.alba varieties,and offer a theoretical basis for molecular research on Michelia L. 展开更多

【目的】研究火力楠生长指标和形质性状在不同半同胞家系间的遗传变异,探究遗传型和环境互作对火力楠生长发育的影响,筛选综合性状良好的半同胞家系,为火力楠优良品种选育提供重要遗传信息和育种材料。【方法】以采集自广东和广西等12... 【目的】研究火力楠生长指标和形质性状在不同半同胞家系间的遗传变异,探究遗传型和环境互作对火力楠生长发育的影响,筛选综合性状良好的半同胞家系,为火力楠优良品种选育提供重要遗传信息和育种材料。【方法】以采集自广东和广西等12个火力楠天然和次生林分的75个家系的种子为试验材料,于广东和福建两地采用随机区组设计建立半同胞家系测定林,在2年生和3年生时进行生长指标调查,4年生和8年生时进行生长指标和形质指标调查。利用ASReml v3.0软件分析2个试验点中75个家系的各指标均值和标准差、家系遗传力和B型相关值。以8年生性状遗传关联结果为参考,采用材积性状育种值和形质性状综合育种分别对广东和福建试验材料进行综合筛选。【结果】在各测定年龄,75个家系树高、胸径、材积、主干通直度、主干分叉性、侧枝粗细、侧枝分枝角和枝下高等性状上存在极显著差异(P<0.01)。2~8年生树高和胸径、8年生主干分叉性、8年生侧枝粗细、8年生侧枝分枝角和8年生枝下高在2个试验点中的家系遗传力均大于0.25,受遗传影响较大,具有一定选育潜力。B型相关分析结果显示,各性状受家系×环境效应影响为中等或较大,说明火力楠性状评价和遗传选育必须考虑遗传型和环境互作效应影响。Pearson相关分析结果显示,家系树高、胸径与材积性状具有高度相关性,但与主干分叉性、侧枝粗细、侧枝分枝角存在负相关。经育种值筛选,在广东试验点获得综合性状优良家系1个(F44)、在福建试验点获得综合优良家系1个(F7)。【结论】所有性状在火力楠家系间均存在显著或极显著差异,各性状在地点间也存在显著差异,生长和形质指标变异受遗传型和环境互作效应影响较大,其中材积性状同时具有较大的表型变异系数和遗传变异系数,选育潜力较大。在2个试验点各选出1个综合性状优良的家系,分别为广东的F44和福建的F7。本研究结果可为今后火力楠主要性状的遗传评价提供重要信息,并对进一步多性状良种选育提供核心育种材料。 展开更多

含笑属21种植物叶片形态特征研究

以含笑属21种植物秋季叶为研究对象,对其叶长、叶宽、叶柄长、叶周长、叶面积等13个指标及叶色进行测定,通过变异分析、相关性分析、主成分分析和聚类分析等方法,评价不同含笑属植物叶片形态特征及叶色观赏特性。结果表明:21种含笑属植... 以含笑属21种植物秋季叶为研究对象,对其叶长、叶宽、叶柄长、叶周长、叶面积等13个指标及叶色进行测定,通过变异分析、相关性分析、主成分分析和聚类分析等方法,评价不同含笑属植物叶片形态特征及叶色观赏特性。结果表明:21种含笑属植物叶片形态指标变异系数在18.66%~56.73%,叶片形态变异丰富,13个叶片形态指标间差异明显且相关性较强;前2个主成分可反应表型性状85%的信息,叶面积、叶周长和叶宽是造成含笑属植物叶片变异的主要因素;根据叶片形态将21个含笑属植物聚为4类,通过对21种含笑属植物叶色进行研究发现,除广东含笑叶色呈红褐色外,其他均呈现不同深浅的绿色。21种含笑属植物叶片变异较丰富,叶色观赏性较强,可为含笑属植物分类、园林树种配置模式和杂交亲本选配提供参考依据。 展开更多

基于当前气候条件的乐昌含笑中国适生区划分

目的:对近危树种乐昌含笑在中国境内的适生区域进行划分,明晰其地理分布与环境因子间的关系,为科学引种栽培及资源保护利用提供参考。方法:通过查询数据库及野外实地调查获得乐昌含笑的现有分布样本数据和26个环境因子数据,利用刀切法(J... 目的:对近危树种乐昌含笑在中国境内的适生区域进行划分,明晰其地理分布与环境因子间的关系,为科学引种栽培及资源保护利用提供参考。方法:通过查询数据库及野外实地调查获得乐昌含笑的现有分布样本数据和26个环境因子数据,利用刀切法(Jackknife)评估关键环境因子的重要性,并采用最大熵模型(MaxEnt)和地理信息系统软件(ArcGIS)分析了当前气候条件下乐昌含笑在中国的适生区分布情况。结果:MaxEnt模型预测得到的受试者工作特征曲线(ROC)下的测试数据面积值(AUC)为0.984,表明模型预测准确。模型预测的乐昌含笑高适生区(P>0.7)和适生区(0.5<P≤0.7)主要分布在103.04°~122.20°E、21.70°~32.07°N范围内,多集中在我国长江流域中下游南部区域,分布面积分别约为43.73 km^(2)和87.69 km^(2)。影响乐昌含笑适生区分布的主导环境因子包括最暖季度平均降水量、最冷月份最低温、昼夜温差月均值及最干月份降水量,对模型的贡献率分别为68.5%、14.2%、9.0%及5.2%。当最暖季度平均降水量为450~1100 mm、最冷月份最低温为-0.5~5.5℃、昼夜温差月均值为7.0~8.5℃及最干月份降水量为30~55 mm时,乐昌含笑表现出良好适生性,存在概率值P≥0.5。结论:乐昌含笑树种分布主要受限于水分和热量两个环境因素,MaxEnt模型预测的乐昌含笑适生区能够准确地反映乐昌含笑在中国的地理分布特征,为乐昌含笑引种栽培、资源保护及开发利用提供了理论依据。 展开更多

土壤肥力是土壤物理、化学和生物性质的综合指标,是决定森林生产力的重要因素。火力楠(Michelia macclurei)是我国南方重要的乡土树种,因其速生、材质优良、改土效果良好等特征,常被用作伴生树种与马尾松(Pinus massoniana)、杉木(Cunni... 土壤肥力是土壤物理、化学和生物性质的综合指标,是决定森林生产力的重要因素。火力楠(Michelia macclurei)是我国南方重要的乡土树种,因其速生、材质优良、改土效果良好等特征,常被用作伴生树种与马尾松(Pinus massoniana)、杉木(Cunninghamia lanceolata)、桉树(Eucalyptus)等用材树种进行混交,在改善人工林土壤肥力,提高林分生产力等方面发挥了重要作用。然而,火力楠对人工林土壤物理、化学和生物性质产生了怎样的影响仍不明晰,对土壤肥力的改善作用仍缺乏机制性的了解。该文从土壤理化性质、土壤微生物群落特征和土壤养分循环等3个方面系统综述了火力楠在改善人工林土壤肥力方面的研究现状,初步理清了其改善土壤肥力的关键途径。同时,通过整合分析和定量分析方法,研究人工林纯林和火力楠混交林在0~20和20~40 cm 2个土层深度上对人工林土壤肥力的影响,认为火力楠具有作为改土树种的潜力,揭示其提升土壤肥力的潜在机制。 展开更多
