The decapentaplegic(Dpp),a member of the TGF-β superfamily,plays a pivotal role in the control of proliferation,global patterning and induction of specific cell fates during Drosophila development.Mother against Dpp(...The decapentaplegic(Dpp),a member of the TGF-β superfamily,plays a pivotal role in the control of proliferation,global patterning and induction of specific cell fates during Drosophila development.Mother against Dpp(Mad) is the founding member of the conserved Smad protein family which spe-cifically transduces the intracellular TGF-β signaling cascade.Here we report the 2.80 structure of the MH2 domain of Mad(Mad-MH2) that was readily superposed to the mammal Smad-MH2 structures.This unphosphorylated Mad-MH2 forms a symmetric homotrimer in crystals,consistent with the result of the size-exclusion chromatography that Mad-MH2 exhibited a propensity for concentration-dependent oligomerization prior to phosphorylation.Structural analysis revealed that the formation of homotrimeric Mad-MH2 is mainly mediated by contacts involving the extreme C-terminal SSVS motif,and is strengthened by phosphorylation of the last two Ser residues which was confirmed by the gel filtration analysis of the pseudophosphorylated Mad-MH2(DVD).Intriguingly,the homotrimer within an asymmetric unit only possesses two ordered C-terminal tails,reminiscent of the arrangement of the R-Smad/Smad4 complexes,indicating that the subunit with a flexible SSXS motif would be readily replaced by Co-Smad to form a functional heterotrimer.展开更多

Methods: 72 cases of middle-aged and elderly patien...Objective: the elderly patients with hypothyroidism in the treatment of depression when the use of comprehensive nursing intervention, to observe the nursing effect. Methods: 72 cases of middle-aged and elderly patients with hypothyroidism in our department from January 2020 to January 2021 were taken as the observation objects, and divided into group a and group b, using basic nursing intervention and using comprehensive nursing intervention respectively. Results: after nursing, SAS score and SDS score in group a and group b were 54.69 ± 4.51 (points) and 58.19±4.92 (points) respectively in group a and 40.16±3.86 (points) and 48.27±4.66 (points) in group b (t=11.454, P =0.000). The results were different. Conclusion: comprehensive nursing intervention in the treatment of depression in middle-aged and elderly patients with hypothyroidism has good effect, and this method can be popularized.展开更多
Objective: to explore the causes of venous thrombosis in patients with tumor chemotherapy after PICC catheterization, and the therapeutic effect after certain nursing intervention. Methods: 119 cases of PICC catheteri...Objective: to explore the causes of venous thrombosis in patients with tumor chemotherapy after PICC catheterization, and the therapeutic effect after certain nursing intervention. Methods: 119 cases of PICC catheterization patients admitted to the hospital from January 2020 to August 2020 were selected as the research object, and they were randomly divided into two groups, control group and observation group, 59 patients in the control group and 60 patients in the observation group. After PICC catheterization in the observation group and the control group, the observation group was given certain nursing intervention measures, while the control group was given conventional nursing measures. After a period of treatment, the nursing intervention effect of the two groups of patients was judged by the number of cases of venous thrombosis formed after PICC replacement in the two groups of patients. Results: two groups of patients after accept certain nursing measures, observation group of patients with tumor in PICC catheter in 5 patients with venous thrombosis after the operation, the control group patients with tumor in 8 cases of venous thrombosis after PICC catheter surgery patients, by comparison, the observation group of patients with tumor in PICC catheter for venous thrombosis after the operation, the patients with tumor in probability is lower than the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P < 0.05). Conclusion: certain nursing intervention measures should be taken for tumor chemotherapy patients after PICC catheterization, which can reduce the probability of venous thrombosis after operation, and can be widely applied in clinical treatment.展开更多
