The discussion is devoted to the adaptive H ∞ control method based on RBF neural networks for uncertain nonlinear systems in this paper. The controller consists of an equivalent controller and an H ∞ controller. The RBF neural networks are used to approximate the nonlinear functions and the approximation errors of the neural networks are used in the adaptive law to improve the performance of the systems. The H ∞ controller is designed for attenuating the influence of external disturbance and neural network approximation errors. The controller can not only guarantee stability of the nonlinear systems, but also attenuate the effect of the external disturbance and neural networks approximation errors to reach performance indexes. The H_∞ performance analysis and controller design for linear networked control systems(NCSs) are presented.The NCSs are considered a linear continuous system with time-varying interval input delay by assuming that the sensor is time-driven and the logic Zero-order-holder(ZOH) and controller are event-driven.Based on this model,the delay interval is divided into two equal subintervals for H_∞ performance analysis.An improved H_∞ stabilization condition is obtained in linear matrix inequalities(LMIs) framework by adequately considering the information about the bounds of the input delay to construct novel Lyapunov–Krasovskii functionals(LKFs).For the purpose of reducing the conservatism of the proposed results,the bounds of the LKFs differential cross terms are properly estimated without introducing any slack matrix variables.Moreover,the H_∞ controller is reasonably designed to guarantee the robust asymptotic stability for the linear NCSs with an H_∞ performance level γ.Numerical simulation examples are included to validate the reduced conservatism and effectiveness of our proposed method. 展开更多

This paper concerns the disturbance rejection problem of a linear complex dynamical network subject to external disturbances. A dynamical network is said to be robust to disturbance, if the H∞ norm of its transfer function matrix from the disturbance to the performance variable is satisfactorily small. It is shown that the disturbance rejection problem of a dynamical network can be solved by analysing the H∞ control problem of a set of independent systems whose dimensions are equal to that of a single node. A counter-intuitive result is that the disturbance rejection level of the whole network with a diffusive coupling will never be better than that of an isolated node. To improve this, local feedback injections are applied to a small fraction of the nodes in the network. Some criteria for possible performance improvement are derived in terms of linear matrix inequalities. It is further demonstrated via a simulation example that one can indeed improve the disturbance rejection level of the network by pinning the nodes with higher degrees than pinning those with lower degrees. 展开更多

Quantized H_∞ fault-tolerant control for networked control systems (NCSs) with partial actuator fault with respect to actuators is concerned in this paper. Considering transmission delay, packet dropout and quantization, a synthesis model with partial actuator fault is established. The piecewise constant controller is adopted to model NCS with the transmission delay and packet dropout. Due to data transmitted in practical NCSs should be quantized before they are sent to the next network node, the logarithmic static and time-invariant quantizers at the sensor and controller sides are proposed in the paper. For the established model, an appropriate type of Lyapunov functions is provided to investigate the delay-dependent H_∞ control problem. According to an optimal problem, the controller that makes the system achieve the best performance is designed. Finally, an illustrative example is given to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed approach. 展开更多

In this paper, we investigate the problem of H∞ synchronization for chaotic neural networks with time-varying delays. A new model of the networks with disturbances in both master and slave systems is presented. By constructing a suitable Lyapunov–Krasovskii functional and using a reciprocally convex approach, a novel H∞ synchronization criterion for the networks concerned is established in terms of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs) which can be easily solved by various effective optimization algorithms. This paper is concerned with the robust Hoo synchronization problem for a class of complex dynamical networks by applying the observer-based control. The proposed feedback control scheme is developed to ensure the asymptotic stability of the augmented system, to reconstruct the non-measurable state variables of each node and to improve the H∞ performance related to the synchronization error and observation error despite the external disturbance. Based on the Lyapunov stability theory, a synchronization criterion is obtained under which the controlled network can be robustly stabilized onto a desired state with a guaranteed H∞ performance. The controller and the observer gains can be given by the feasible solutions of a set of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs). The effectiveness of the proposed control scheme is demonstrated by a numerical example through simulation. 展开更多

The sufficient condition of robust H∞ control for networked control systems stabilized by state feedback controller is presented in terms of linear matrix inequality. This paper focuses on the stability analysis of nonlinear networked control system with integral quadratic constraints(IQC) performance, dynamic quantization, variable sampling intervals, and communication delays. By using input-delay and parallel distributed compensation(PDC) techniques, we establish the Takagi-Sugeno(T-S) fuzzy model for the system, in which the sampling period of the sampler and signal transmission delay are transformed to the refreshing interval of a zero-order holder(ZOH). By the appropriate Lyapunov-Krasovskii-based methods, a delay-dependent criterion is derived to ensure the asymptotic stability for the system with IQC performance via the H∞ state feedback control. A zinc complex, [Zn(iso)_2(H_2O)_4](iso=C_6H_4NO_2^-), was synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis, thermal analysis and IR spectrum studies. The crystal structure of the complex was determined by X-ray diffraction. The crystal crystallizes in the triclinic system, molecular formula ZnC12H16N2O8, Mr=381.64, space group P with a = 6.338(1), b =6.919(1), c=9.277(1), α=96.28(1), β=104.91(1), γ=112.85(1)°, V=352.12(9)?3, Z=1, Dc=1.80g?cm-3 and F(000)=196, μ =1.791mm-1. The crystal structure was solved by direct methods for final R=0.0204 and Rw=0.0542 for 1258 observed reflections with [Fo>4σ(Fo)]. The crystal structure reveals that zinc ion is trans-octahedral with two pyridyl nitrogens and two aque oxygens at the equational positions and two aqua oxygens at the axial positions. The complex forms a three-dimensional network through intermolecular hydrogen bonds. 展开更多

By taking into consideration network induced delays and packet dropouts, an improved model of network-based control is developed. A less conservative delay-dependent stability condition for the closed NCSs is derived by employing a fuzzy Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional. Robust H∞ fuzzy controller is constructed that guarantee asymptotic stabilization of the NCSs and expressed in LMI-based conditions. This paper investigates the mixed Ho~ and passive projective synchronization problem for fractional-order (FO) memristor-based neural networks. Our aim is to design a controller such that, though the unavoidable phenomena of time-delay and parameter uncertainty are fully considered, the resulting closed-loop system is asymptotically stable with a mixed H∞ and passive performance level. By combining active and adaptive control methods, a novel hybrid control strategy is designed, which can guarantee the robust stability of the closed-loop system and also ensure a mixed H∞ and passive performance level. Via the application of FO Lyapunov stability theory, the projective synchronization conditions are addressed in terms of linear matrix inequaiity techniques. Finally, two simulation examples are given to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed method. 展开更多

Multi-bond network(MBN) hydrogels contain hierarchical dynamic bonds with different bond association energy as energy dissipation units,enabling super-tough mechanical properties.In this work,we copolymerize a protonated 2-ureido-4[1 H]-pyrimidone(UPy)-contained monomer with acrylic acid in HCl solution.After removing excess HCl,UPy motifs are deprotonated and from dimers,thus generating an UPy-contained MBN hydrogel.The obtained MBN hydrogels(75 wt% watercontent) exhibit super-tough mechanical properties(0.39 MPa to 2.51 MPa tensile strength),with tremendous amount of energy(1.68 MJ/m^(3) to 11.1 MJ/m^(3)) dissipated by the dissociation of UPy dimers.The introduction of ionic bonds can further improve the mechanical properties.Moreover,owing to their dynamic nature,both UPy dimers and ionic bonds can re-associate after being dissociated,resulting in excellent self-recovery ability(around 90% recovery efficiency within only 1 h).The excellent self-recovery ability mainly originates from the re-association of UPy dimers based on the high dimerization constant of UPy motifs. 展开更多
