Methods: Dementia mimetic mice models were formed with aluminum chloride. Results: The Muscarine receptor total receptor concentration (M-Rt) lowered and the AchE increased in the model significantly comparedwith healthy young mice. KT could markedly reduce the increase of AchE and elevate the lowered M-Rt in cerebral cortex of the dementia mimetic mice and improve the memory. Conclusions: KT is effective in preventingthe degeneration of cerebral function and presenile dementia.展开更多

Ventricular arrhythmia was induced by occlusion of the proximal left anterior descend (LAD) branch of coronary artery for 5 min and followed with 15 min reperfusion . EA on acupoint "Neiguan", "Jianshi" was performed at 30 min before ligation and continued another 5 min during ischemia. Isoprenaline (20, 30 and 50 μg/kg) or atropine (1 mg/ kg) was intravenously injected at 5min before ischemia. The results showed that EA significantly decreased the incidence of ischemia/reperfusion (I/R) induced ventricular tachycardia (VT), ventricular fibrillation (VF) and mortality as compared to I/R group. Atropine partially suppressed the EA's effect of antiarrhythmia; Isoprenaline increased the incidence and severity of reperfusion arrhythmia, which was inhibited by EA, but this inhibition of EA was blocked with increasing dose of isoprenaline. The results indicated that EA treatment could prevent the occurrence of reperfusion ventricular arrhythmia in rats with myocardial ischemia, and its mechanism might be related to the regulation of EA on the β-adrenoceptors and M-cholinergic receptor activation in myocardium.展开更多

Methods: The isolated bladder and prostatic urethral smooth muscle from male rabbits were placed Jn a Magnus bath and smooth muscle contraction was measured using a biological signal acquisition and analysis system. The effects of AKM in combination with methoxyamine, carbachol and CaCl2 on the contractile tension of muscle strips were determined by cumulative dosing. Results: AKM dose-dependently reduced contractile tension of bladder trigone smooth muscle (r=0.831, P〈0.05), reduced contractile wave amplitude (r=0.837, P〈0.05) and decreased contractile frequency (r=-0.917, P〈0.01). AKM signJfJcantly inhibited the increases in smooth muscle contraction induced by methoxyamine, carbachol and CaCl2. Conclusion: AKM dose-dependently inhibited the contraction of rabbit isolated bladder and prostatic urethral smooth muscle by antagonizing α1-adrenergic receptors and M-cholinergic receptors.展开更多
