High-strained InGaAs/InGaAsP multiple quantum wells (MQWs) distributed feedback (DFB) lasers, fab- ricated using metal organic chemical vapor deposition, are presented at 1,82 μm with a high side-mode- suppression ratio of 49.53 dB. The current- and temperature-tuning rates of the DFB mode wavelength are 0.01 nm/mA and 0.13 nm/℃, respectively. A characteristic temperature of 51 K is also confirmed. The DFB laser demonstrates good performance and can be apt)lied to H2O concentration sensing. 展开更多

Let u be a sequence of positive integers which grows essentially as a geometric progression. We give a criterion on u in terms of its distribution modulo d, d = 1, 2,..., under which the set of positive integers expressible by the sum of a prime number and an element of u has a positive lower density. This criterion is then checked for some second order linear recurrence sequences. It follows, for instance, that the set of positive integers of the form p + [(2 + √3)n], where p is a prime number and n is a positive integer, has a positive lower density. This generalizes a recent result of Enoch Lee. In passing, we show that the periods of linear recurrence sequences of order m modulo a prime number p cannot be "too small" for most prime numbers p. 展开更多

We designed and implemented a signal generator that can simulate the output of the NaI(Tl)/CsI(Na)detectors'pre-amplifier onboard the Hard X-ray Modulation Telescope(HXMT).Using the development of the FPGA(Field Programmable Gate Array)with VHDL language and adding a random constituent,we have finally produced the double exponential random pulse signal generator.The statistical distribution of the signal amplitude is programmable.The occurrence time intervals of the adjacent signals contain negative exponential distribution statistically. 展开更多
