Methods Using...Objective To explore the association of genetic polymorphisms in the genes encoding the anti-Miillerian hormone (AMH) and its type H receptor (AMHRII) with ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome (OHSS). Methods Using polymerase chain reaction (PCR) and DNA sequencing techniques, the exons of AMH and AMHRII were analyzed in 27 OHSS patients (OHSS group) and 22 non-OHSS patients (control group) who were applied controlled ovarian hyper- stimulation (COH). Single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) were also analyzed. Results SNPs G〉 T at position 146 of AMH exon 1 and G〉 A at position 134 of AMH exon 2 showed significant differences between the OHSS group and control group (P〈0.05). SNP G〉 T at position 303 of AMH exon 1 showed no significant difference between the OHSS group and control group (P〉0.05). No SNP was detected from the AMHR H exons 1 to 11 in either groups. Conclusion Genetic polymorphisms in the AMH gene may be a cause of ovarian hypersensitivity to exogenous hormone stimulation and the development of OHSS.展开更多

An extended component was detected over the central 1 5 kpc region with a line-to-continuum ratio of 〔C II〕/〔40-120μm〕6×10 -3 . This ratio is 3 times larger than that of the Galactic counterpart and is comparable to that in the general Galactic Plane. We expect that the difference between the two central regions are due to different gas densities; the self-shielding of CO molecules decreases the C + abundance at the higher density in the Galactic case.展开更多

This study uses molecular docking, recovery time and dyn...Virtual screening can be a helpful approach to propose treatments for COVID-19 by developing inhibitors for blocking the attachment of the virus to human cells. This study uses molecular docking, recovery time and dynamics to analyze if potential inhibitors of main protease (M<sup>pro</sup>) of SARS-CoV-2 can interfere in the attachment of nanobodies, specifically Nb20, in the receptor binding domain (RBD) of SARS-CoV-2. The potential inhibitors are four compounds previously identified in a fluorescence resonance energy transfer (FRET)-based enzymatic assay for the SARS-CoV-2 M<sup>pro</sup>: Boceprevir, Calpain Inhibitor II, Calpain Inhibitor XII, and GC376. The findings reveal that Boceprevir has the higher affinity with the RBD/Nb20 complex, followed by Calpain Inhibitor XII, GC376 and Calpain Inhibitor II. The recovery time indicates that the RBD/Nb20 complex needs a relatively short time to return to what it was before the presence of the ligands. For the RMSD the Boceprevir and Calpain Inhibitor II have the shortest interaction times, while Calpain Inhibitor XII shows slightly more interaction, but with significant pose fluctuations. On the other hand, GC376 remains stably bound for a longer duration compared to the other compounds, suggesting that they can potentially interfere with the neutralization process of Nb20.展开更多

Objective.To determine the apoptotic and proliferative activities in various ovarian epithelial tumors.Methods.Formalin-fixed,paraffin-embedded tissues of 86ovarian epithelial tu mors,including 52adenocarcino-mas,23bo...Objective.To determine the apoptotic and proliferative activities in various ovarian epithelial tumors.Methods.Formalin-fixed,paraffin-embedded tissues of 86ovarian epithelial tu mors,including 52adenocarcino-mas,23borderline tumors and 11cystadenomas,were retrieved.Apoptoti c(AI )and proliferative(PI )index were estimated using the monoclonal antibodies:M30,Ki-67and Ki-S1in t hese tumors.Quantitative assess-ment of AI and PI was estimated by calc ulating the percentage of positive c ells among no less than 1000tumor cells.Results.Statistically significant differe nce in AI was found between benign and borderline tumors or carcino-mas(P=0.028,0.001,respectively).Significant differences in PI,as a ssessed by both Ki-67and topo IIα,were demonstrated between carcinom as and benign or borderline tumors(both P<0.001).Benign tumors had both low PI and AI;borderline tumors had lower PI but higher AI,while aden ocarcinomas had both high prolifera-tive and high apoptotic rates.Among borderline tumors,serous tumors had significantly lower AI and higher PI than mucinous ones.Conclusions.The results suggest that apoptotic a nd proliferative activities play im portant roles in the pathogene-sis and development of ovarian borderline and malignant tumors.The high apoptotic rate in borderline tumor m ay explain its relatively indolent beh avior while the high proliferative r ate in carcinomas tends to explain its aggres-sive behavior.展开更多
We present a catalogue of 3305 Hα emission-line point sources observed with the Large Sky Area Multi-Object Fiber Spectroscopic Telescope(LAMOST) in the vicinity fields of M31 and M33 during September 2011 and Januar...We present a catalogue of 3305 Hα emission-line point sources observed with the Large Sky Area Multi-Object Fiber Spectroscopic Telescope(LAMOST) in the vicinity fields of M31 and M33 during September 2011 and January 2016.The catalogue contains 1487 emission-line stars,532 emission-line nebulae including 377 likely planetary nebulae(PNe),83 H Ⅱ region candidates and 20 possible supernova remnants(SNRs) and 1286 unknown objects.Among them,24 PN candidates,19 H Ⅱ region candidates,10 SNR candidates and one symbiotic star candidate are new discoveries.Radial velocities and fluxes estimated from the Hα line and those quantities of seven other major emission lines including Hβ,[O Ⅲ] A4959,[O Ⅲ] A5007,[N Ⅱ] A6548,[N Ⅱ] A6583,[S Ⅱ] A6717 and [S Ⅱ] A6731 lines of all the catalogued sources yielded from the LAMOST spectra are also presented in our catalogue.Our catalogue is an ideal starting point to study the chemistry properties and kinematics of M 31 and M 33.展开更多
Objective:To observe the effect of Pingchuan granule on the number of typeⅡinnate lymphocytes(ILC2)and M2 polarization of macrophages in the lung tissue of asthmatic mice;Methods:Ovalbumin sensitized and challenged a...Objective:To observe the effect of Pingchuan granule on the number of typeⅡinnate lymphocytes(ILC2)and M2 polarization of macrophages in the lung tissue of asthmatic mice;Methods:Ovalbumin sensitized and challenged asthmatic mouse models were established,and then Pingchuan granules or IL-33 neutralizing antibody were given to intervene.The pathological morphology of lung tissue was observed by HE,PAS and Masson staining,and the expressions of IL-4,IL-5,IL-13 and IL-33 in BALF and lung tissue were detected by ELISA and qRT-PCR,Flow cytometry was used to detect the number of type II innate lymphocytes and type M2 macrophages in lung tissue.Western blot was used to detect the protein expression levels of ST-2,FIZZ1 and Arg-1 in lung tissue;Results:Compared with the control group,the inflammation score,PAS score and collagen staining area of the model group were significantly increased,the expressions of IL-4,IL-5,IL-13 and IL-33 in BALF and lung tissue were significantly increased,the number of ILC2 and M2 macrophages,the expression of ST-2,FIZZ1 and Arg-1 protein in lung tissue were significantly increased,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05);Compared with the model group,Pingchuan granule could significantly reduce the inflammation score,PAS score and collagen staining area of asthmatic mice,down-regulate the expression of IL-4,IL-5,IL-13 and IL-33 in BALF and lung tissue,reduce the number of ILC2 and M2 macrophages,and the expression of ST-2,FIZZ1 and Arg-1 protein in lung tissue(P<0.05);Conclusion:Pingchuan granule improve the airway remodeling of asthma by inhibiting the polarization of M2 macrophages mediated by ILC2.展开更多
Among different heavy liquid metals(HLMs), lead-bismuth eutectic(LBE) is considered at present as a potential candidate for the coolant of new generation fast reactors(critical and subcritical) and for liquid spallati...Among different heavy liquid metals(HLMs), lead-bismuth eutectic(LBE) is considered at present as a potential candidate for the coolant of new generation fast reactors(critical and subcritical) and for liquid spallation neutron sources and accelerator driven systems(ADS). A high temperature liquid LBE loop, KYLIN-II-M,has been built to study the characteristics of corrosion and fluidity of LBE at the Institute of Nuclear Energy Safety Technology. However, due to the sensors and execution components of the loop work at high temperatures and in severely corrosive environments, the reliability and security of the data acquisition and control system(DACS) of KYLIN-II-M face challenges during the loop operation. In order to meet the urgent needs for KYLIN-II-M's long-term stable operation, a virtualization and redundancy control system has been developed.The onsite operation result shows that the DACS is stable and reliable. In this paper, the experimental results are described in detail.展开更多
