文摘This paper aims to investigate the effect of SME’s resources including, financial resources(FRR),financial literacy(FLR),managerial capacities(MCR)and market orientation(MKR)on SME’s sustainable growth(SG)in both financial SG(FSGE)and non-financial SG(NFSGE)terms;and to identify the technological innovation awareness(TIR)mediates the effect of these resources on SGSMEs.Data were collected from 517 SMEs,using survey method and adopted a random sampling technique.Structure Equation Model(SEM)and the Baron, and Kenny(1986)mediation approach,Amos was applied to test hypotheses. The findings revealed the resources contributed 41.9 percent and 32.9 percent of the variance in FSGE and NFSGE,respectively, and confirmed the mediating role of TIR in the relationship between resources and SG.Notably,FRR had an indirect effect on FSGE through TIR,although TIR partially mediated the relationship between FRR and NFSGE,and between FLR and SG,both in FSGE and NFSGE terms. While,TIR fully mediated the relationship between MKR and SG,both in FSGE and NFSGE terms as well. This evidence informs the importance of business resources and competencies. In particular,TIR plays an important role in business operations to enhance and maintain sustainable growth.
文摘With rapid technological advancements, academic libraries are compelled to reevaluate their mission statements and to reinmagine their roles in higher education institutions. The integration of innovative technologies in the learning and academic work has transformed user relationships with academic libraries in many ways. The paper examines the initiatives that a school-based library has undertaken to accommodate students’needs in light of emerging technologies. These initiatives involve space allocation,campus-wide programs and activities, and the provision of information-related services. The resulting benefits for academic user engagement and the current challenges and opportunities for academic libraries are discussed in the paper.
文摘Chronic kidney disease (CKD) is characterized by high morbidity, high mortality, and poor prognosis, while health literacy is the goal of health education and an important outcome of health promotion, crucial for improving health outcomes. Therefore, this paper reviews the conceptual evolution, theoretical models, and assessment tools of health literacy, as well as the current status, influencing factors, and intervention strategies of health literacy in CKD patients. The aim is to raise awareness among healthcare professionals regarding health literacy in CKD and to provide a reference for further research on health literacy in CKD patients.
文摘Objective:To explore the application effect of the path for improving humanistic literacy of operating room nursing students based on the ORTCC model,in order to make up for the deficiency of systematic humanistic education in the traditional teaching model.Methods:120 nursing students who practiced in the operating room from June 2023 to June 2024 were randomly divided into the experimental group and the control group, with 60 students in each group. The control group received routine teaching, while the experimental group applied the ORTCC model on the basis of routine and intervened through setting humanistic literacy goals, formulating behavioral norms, conducting diversified training, implementing two-way assessment, and creating departmental culture. The effect of the intervention was evaluated using the Nurse Humanistic Quality Scale, the Clinical Communication Ability Assessment Scale for Operating Room Nursing Students, and a self-made nursing satisfaction questionnaire. Results:After the intervention, the total score of humanistic literacy in the experimental group(4 weeks of intervention:161.43±10.06 points,12 weeks of intervention:165.71±9.45 points)was significantly higher than that in the control group(139.38±10.95 points,143.31±10.52 points)(all p<0.001);The total score of clinical communication ability in the experimental group(109.69±8.05 points for 4 weeks of intervention,116.90±7.21 points for 12 weeks of intervention)was also significantly better than that in the control group(99.14±9.23 points,103.03±8.78 points)(all p<0.001);The total score of patient care satisfaction in the experimental group(94.2±4.3)was significantly higher than that in the control group(82.6±5.7)(p<0.001).Conclusion:The ORTCC model can systematically enhance the humanistic literacy, clinical communication skills and patient satisfaction of operating room nursing students, providing an effective approach for optimizing clinical teaching in the operating room.
文摘Objective:To investigate the distribution of health literacy(HL)levels and the association of HL with proactive personality in patients with permanent colostomy. Methods:A cross-sectional study was conducted to measure proactive personality and HL using validated scales.A total of 172 patients with permanent colostomy were selected from January 2021 to May 2022 in Yantai City,China.Descriptive statistics,t-test,ANOVA,Pearson correlation analysis, and multiple linear regression analysis techniques were used. Results:The results obtained from the study showed that the HL status of the participants was moderate. The correlation between participants’total HL scores and proactive personality scores was 0.417(P-value<0.001).In addition,HL showed statistically significant differences according to education level, place of residence, profession, and average monthly household income. Conclusions:This study showed that patients with higher proactive personality scores had higher HL.The key stakeholders require several positive strategies to improve the HL of patients with permanent colostomy by cultivating their proactive personalities, and these important policies will help to improve patient health and quality of life.
文摘Online learning has taken root and with the advancement in technology more and more educators are embracing online learning.During the COVID-19 pandemic, with total shut down of face-to-face learning, the Kenyan government had moved learning online and remotely. To find out on how learners in remote areas were experiencing learning during the COVID-19 pandemic,a study was carried out using rapid ethnography design.Five final year secondary students were sampled.Data was collected through interviews, observations, and document analysis. This paper reports on the findings of online and remote learning platforms, which were available, accessed, and preferred by the learners in remote areas of Kenya during the pandemic. It also highlights the importance of e-learning platforms in addressing learning experiences and success.

文摘Treatment adherence among people living with human immunodeficiency virus(PLWH)is a critical determinant of viral suppression and improved quality of life.Medication literacy,as a key factor influencing adherence,is itself shaped by various psychosocial variables.Existing studies suggest that human immunodeficiency virus(HIV)-related stigma,self-efficacy,and trust in healthcare providers serve as significant mediators in the relationship between health literacy and treatment adherence. This review systematically explores how medication literacy affects treatment adherence in PLWH through intermediary psychosocial mechanisms such as depression, anxiety, and social support.By synthesizing current evidence,we aim to inform the development of targeted psychosocial interventions to enhance treatment outcomes and quality of life for this population. Our findings provide an evidence-based foundation for nursing practice and support innovative strategies in comprehensive HIV care.
