文摘Although numerousfindings show that people experience both positive and negative experiences with regards to solitude, the relationship between solitude capacity and emotional experience remains unclear. The current study investigated the extent to which emotion regulation may play a suppressive role in the relationship between solitude capacity and emotional experience.Questionnaires on solitude capacity, emotion regulation, and emotional experience were completed by a sample of Chinese college students(n=844;432 females;Meanage=19.79 years,SD=1.43 years). The results of the indirect effect test showed that cognitive reappraisal suppresses the prediction of solitude capacity on positive emotions, while the solitude capacity prediction of negative emotions was suppressed by both cognitive reappraisal and expressive suppression. This suggests that solitude capacity does not predict emotional experience directly, but instead is realized through an antagonistic system consisting of adaptive and nonadaptive emotion regulation strategies.Thesefindings provide cross-sectional empirical support for the ecological niche hypothesis of solitude, and are of theoretical significance in clarifying the role of internal mechanisms of solitude capacity on the human emotional experience.
文摘Objective:This study aimed to systematically evaluate the measurement characteristics and methodological quality of childbirth experience assessment tools, with a view to informing the selection of healthcare professionals who can provide high-quality assessment tools.Method:A systematic search was performed on specific databases:PubMed,Web of Science,Embase,CINAHL,SinoMed,China National Knowledge Infrastructure(CNKI),and Wanfang, from inception to February 29,2024.The researchers retrieved studies on the measurement attributes of the childbirth experience assessment tool, and traced back the references of the included studies to supplement relevant literature.According to the inclusion and exclusion criteria, screening and data extraction were independently undertaken by two reviewers. Two researchers individually used the Consensus-based Standards for the Selection of Health Measurement Instruments(COSMIN)Risk of Bias Checklist to assess the methodological quality of the scale, applied the COSMIN criteria to evaluate the measurement properties of the scale, and used a modified Grading of Recommendations,Assessment,Development, and Evaluation(GRADE)system to assess the certainty of evidence.Result:A total of 15 studies were included to evaluate the psychometric properties of 11 childbirth experience assessment tools(including different language versions).Eight studies’methodological quality of content validity was doubtful, and the remaining studies did not report content validity.None of the tools reported measurement error,cross-cultural validity,or responsiveness. In light of the questionable or unreported content validity of the tools, the evidence quality was deemed moderate or below.Consequently, the 11 assessment tools were recommended as grade B.Conclusion:In contrast, the Questionnaire for Assessing the Childbirth Experience(QACE)is recommended for provisional use, given its relatively good methodological and measurement attributes and appropriate content for evaluation. However, further validation of other measurement properties is needed.

文摘Objectives Nurses’clinical research activities have contributed to optimizing the care process and improving patient outcomes, and generative artificial intelligence(GAI)may help clinical nurses strengthen their research skills. To support research, this study aimed to explore the Chinese nurses’perceptions and experiences of GAI training. Methods This study used a descriptive qualitative design. The China Nurses Network conducted a three-day training session on“GAI for Nursing Research”theme,we selected 23 nurses by a convenience sampling method among participating in the training. The researchers conducted three focus group interviews at the end of each day.All focus groups were interviewed face-to-face to facilitate interaction, data collection, and observation. The data were analyzed using conventional content analysis and coded manually. Results The results showed that nurses’use of GAI to support scientific research was dynamic and characterized by evolving perceptions and practices.Four themes and 11 sub-themes emerged from the analysis:1)utilization efficacy:cope with research ability, affected by many factors;2)booster research:growth and challenges go hand in hand;3)role reversal:from GAI-dominated to nurse-dominated;4)beautiful dream:more features on research, more assistants on clinical care. Conclusions The effectiveness of GAI in supporting clinical nurses in conducting research is mainly limited by differences in personal research literacy, lack of ethical regulation, and information accuracy. In the future,it is necessary to improve nurses’relevant skills through specialized training and promote the standardization of technical regulations to ensure the appropriate application of GAI in nursing research.

文摘With the development of education and technology, the construction of research public platforms has emerged as a critical initiative for many universities and top-tier public hospitals. The core and most fundamental function of a basic public platform is to aggregate large instruments and specific resources, providing open services for instrumental analysis and sample testing.Optimized management and high-quality,efficient services are essential for such platforms. This article elucidates the construction of a research public platform in West China Hospital, focusing on the adoption of hierarchical management and precise services. The core of the hierarchical management lies in building a multi-level service platform composed of routine support platforms, advanced technology platforms, and specially qualification platforms, while establishing a talent hierarchy that differentiates between core and routine positions. This structure is designed to accurately meet the diverse needs of users and enhance resource efficiency.By implementing user access control with differentiated permissions for internal and external users and a dynamic credit-based review system, the laboratory can ensure safe and efficient operations. The four service modes—instrument usage,in-lab experiments, sample testing, and collaborative projects—are precisely aligned with various research scenarios.Proactive engagement with grant-funded projects, customized services for research groups, and a multidimensional training system further strengthen the platform's support for major scientific research tasks.Through systematic management and service innovation, this model achieves efficient integration and sustainable development of platform resources, providing a valuable reference for the construction of public platforms in similar medical institutions.
文摘BACKGROUND Older patients often experience thirst after general anesthesia for gastrointestinal surgery, particularly during the post-anesthesia care unit(PACU)phase.Thirst not only compromises patient comfort but also induces anxiety, which may hinder recovery.Although previous studies have addressed postoperative thirst, research specifically examining thirst experiences and nursing needs in older patients remains limited.AIM To explore thirst experiences and nursing needs of older PACU patients following gastrointestinal surgery, aiming to inform targeted interventions.METHODS This study employed a phenomenological approach within a qualitative research framework.A purposeful sampling method was used to select 12 older patients who underwent gastrointestinal surgery under general anesthesia at a tertiary hospital in Shanghai between November and December 2024.Data were collected through semi-structured interviews and analyzed using Colaizzi’s seven-step method.Themes were extracted from the interview data.RESULTS Analysis of the interview data identified four main themes and eight subthemes:(1)Intense sensations of thirst post-surgery(subjective experience of thirst and duration of thirst);(2)Emotional experiences of thirst-related discomfort(anxiety, irritability, and helplessness);(3)Practical challenges in relieving thirst(limitations of current interventions and nursing response time);and(4)Patient expectations of nursing care(desire for more timely interventions and expectation for more proactive attention from nursing staff).CONCLUSION Older patients frequently experience substantial thirst discomfort after gastrointestinal surgery under general anesthesia.A multidisciplinary perioperative intervention plan is essential to alleviate these symptoms and enhance postoperative comfort.
