In this paper,the transferable belief model established on power sets is extended to the permutation event space(PES)and is referred to as the layer-2 transferable belief model.Our goal is to provide a comprehensive a...In this paper,the transferable belief model established on power sets is extended to the permutation event space(PES)and is referred to as the layer-2 transferable belief model.Our goal is to provide a comprehensive approach for handling and modeling uncertainty,capable of representing both quantitative and qualitative information.First,the motivation for proposing the layer-2 transferable belief model and its information processing principles are explored from the perspective of weak propensity.Then,based on these principles,the corresponding information processing methods for the credal and pignistic levels are developed.Finally,the advantages of this model are validated through a classifier that leverages attribute fusion to enhance performance and decision-making accuracy.展开更多
In a Wireless Mesh Network(WMN),the convenience of a routing strategy strongly depends on the mobility of the intermediate nodes that compose the paths.Taking this behaviour into account,this paper presents a routing ...In a Wireless Mesh Network(WMN),the convenience of a routing strategy strongly depends on the mobility of the intermediate nodes that compose the paths.Taking this behaviour into account,this paper presents a routing scheme that works differently accordingly to the node mobility.In this sense,a proactive routing scheme is restricted to the backbone to promote the use of stable routes.Conversely,the reactive protocol is used for searching routes to or from a mobile destination.Both approaches are simultaneously implemented in the mesh nodes so that the routing protocols share routing information that optimises the network performance.Aimed at guaranteeing the IP compatibility,the combination of the two protocols in the core routers is carried out in the Medium Access Control(MAC)layer.In contrast to the operation in the IP layer where two routing protocols cannot work concurrently,the transfer of the routing tasks to the MAC layer enables the use of multiple independent forwarding tables.Simulation results show the advantage of the proposal in terms of packet losses and data delay.展开更多

Multifunctional(poly(diallyldimethyl ammonium chloride)/sodium poly(4-styrene sulfonate)) n((PDDA/PSS) n) thin films were fabricated by layer-by-layer assembled on the glass substrate.The monolayer silica na...Multifunctional(poly(diallyldimethyl ammonium chloride)/sodium poly(4-styrene sulfonate)) n((PDDA/PSS) n) thin films were fabricated by layer-by-layer assembled on the glass substrate.The monolayer silica nanoparticles were prepared on the(PDDA/PSS) n films.The SiO 2-polyelectrolyte coatings exhibit antireflection properties with low refractive index(as low as 1.22).Interestingly,wavelengths of maximum transmittance could be well tailored by simply changing the particle size of SiO 2.A maximum transmittance of 97.03% in the visible spectral range is achieved for the particle size of 100 nm SiO 2 films.The coatings also show excellent mechanical stability and good adhesion to substrates.The easy availability of the raw materials and simplicity of the fabrication method for such films might make them be potentially useful for various applications.展开更多
