The work deals with cellulose paper filled with nanocellulose and SrAl_(2)O_(4):Eu,Dy oxide phosphor.It was found that both nanocellulose and oxide improve the tensile strength of the composites obtained.The samples with the oxide demonstrate a long-lasting photoluminescence(PL)under sunlight and ultra-violet(UV)illumination.Room-temperature the PL spectra reveal a wide multicomponent band spreading over all the visible spectral regions.The short-wavelength part of the band is ascribed to the cellulose-related luminescence,while the long-wavelength PL component with maxima near 540 nm corresponds to the luminescence of the SrAl_(2)O_(4):Eu,Dy phosphor.The dependency of the PL intensity on oxide concentration suggests the reabsorption of cellulose emission by the oxide and vice versa.The study of the dielectric properties of composite papers shows the presence of dielectric relaxations at low temperatures(T~−50℃).Similar cellulose materials to those studied can be considered as alternatives for artificial petroleum-based polymers.Low cost,eco-friendliness,biocompatibility,and the simplicity of recycling are among the main advantages of these materials.They are produced from the cellulose which is one of the most abundant renewable materials in nature.The data on the mechanical,dielectric,and optical properties indicate that the papers studied can be used in flexible lighting devices,WLEDs,coating,markers,labels,etc. 展开更多

[Method] The systematical survey on the release conditions for the conidia of B. berengeriana were conducted in two growing seasons in 2008 and 2009, combined with the collection of meteorological data around conidia release period, the weather conditions causing large amount release of B. berengedana were analyzed. [ Result] During a growing season, the conidia of pathogen appeared several large release peaks. Under the suitable temperature, when the precipitation lasted for 4 h, the conidia of B. berengeriana began to release with large amount, the amount of conidia reached the peak after release and trended to be stable during 4 - 12 h, which significantly reduced after 24 h, tended to dis- appear after 36 h, and completely disappeared after 72 h. [Conclusion] The dominant factor affecting B. berengeriana conidia release in large a- mount was precipitation, while the lasting time of precipitation played a decisive role. 展开更多

Analysis of Season Change in Jiyang from Meteorological Standpoint

[Objective] The aim was to analyze changing characters of four seasons in Jiyang, providing references for farming and disaster prevention in the area. [Methed] Changing characters of initial time and lasting periods of four seasons in Jiyang for 30 years were analyzed from meteorological standpoint with weather information from 1981 to 2010 observed in surface meteorological observation in Jiyang. [Result] Recent 30 years, initial time of spring and winter in Jiyang were earlier than before, especially for spring. In contrast, initial time of summer and autumn were later, especially for autumn. In addition, periods of spring and winter declined and the latter changed more significantly. Meanwhile, periods of summer and autumn extended and rate of linear trend for summer period was 0.042 hou/year. [Conclusion] The research indicated that lasting days of summer extended significantly and of spring and winter shortened under the background of global warming. 展开更多

A new aluminosilicate long-lasting phosphor with composition of NaA1SiO4:Eu2+,Ho3+ was synthesized and investigated. Under UV light excitation, the phosphor emitted yellow light corresponding to the characteristic emission of Eu2+ due to 5d-4f transi- tion. Bright yellow phosphorescence sustaining for more than 30 rain was observed after ceasing the excitation. The phosphorescence intensity decay obeyed a fl decay law, indicating a tunneling electron-hole recombination process in the phosphor. Four peaks ap- peared in the thermoluminescence curve and the ones at 322 and 370 K were thought to account for the long lasting phosphorescence at room temperature. The Ho3+ ion incorporated into the phosphor did not give any light but dramatically increased the intensities of both photoluminescence and phosphorescence via promoting defect levels in the phosphor. 展开更多

Corresponding to its lowest optical absorption transition at 240 nm, phosphor emits a bluish-green light at 485 nm, which yields the Stokes shift about 20000 cm -1. The unusual optical properties of Zr 4+ ion are ascribed to its uncommon coordination environment. In addition it shows intensive bluish-green long lasting phosphorescence (LLP) due to the existence of electron trap, which is generated by aliovalent substitution of Zr 4+ ion for the cation site in the matrix as shown in thermoluminescence (TL) spectrum. 展开更多

The exploration of novel long lasting red phosphors is still of importance due to expected commercial applications and scientific interests. In this work, we reported the red long lasting phosphorescence(LLP) from Eu^3+ doped BiOCl semiconductor polycrystals. The LLP property of the red phosphor is relatively weak due to less trap density, but the excitation band of LLP stems from the energy gap transition of semiconductor, offering experimental evidence for energy transfer between BiOCl semiconductor and Eu^3+ ions. Although the afterglow duration of Eu^3+ doped BiOCl was short temporarily, this work may open a novel kind of red LLP phosphors. 展开更多

Under synchrotron radiation excitation at 305 nm,only the characteristic emission from Eu (2+) was excited. But the characteristic emission from Dy (3+) was also found under 175 nm excitation,besides the characteristic emission of Eu (2+). The characteristic emission from Dy (3+) was detected in the Eu (2+) and Dy (3+) codoped long lasting phosphorescence materials,which indicates that Dy (3+) is still existed in the phosphors under continue excitation at 175 nm. 展开更多

The methods of photoluminescence, thermolu-minescence and phosphorescence were used to study the samples, and possible mechanism was suggested. The co-doping of Ce3 + ions poisoned the phosphorescence emission of Eu2 + because of the competition to obtain the trapped electron . The phosphorescence of Ce3 + in the sample decays more quickly than that of Eu2 + , which is suggested for the reason that the emission energy of Ce3 + is higher or the distance between Ce3 + and electron traps of the glasses is longer. 展开更多

High precision and long-lasting Kepler data enabled us to estimate stellar properties with asteroseismology as an accurate tool. We performed asteroseismic analysis on six solar-like stars observed by the Kepler mission: KIC 6064910, KIC 6766513, KIC 7107778, KIC 10079226, KIC 10147635 and KIC 12069127. The extraction of seismic information includes two parts. First, we obtained two global asteroseismic parameters, mean large separation ?_ν and frequency of maximum power ν_(max),with autocorrelation function and collapsed autocorrelation function. Second, we extracted individual oscillation modes ν_(nl) with low-l degree using a least-squares fit. Stellar grid models were built with Yale Rotating Stellar Evolution Code(YREC) to analyze stellar properties. They covered the range of M = 0.8 ~ 1.8 M_⊙with a step of 0.02 M_⊙ and [Fe/H] =-0.3 ~ 0.4 dex with a step of 0.1 dex.We used a Bayesian approach to estimate stellar fundamental parameters of the six stars, under the constraints of asteroseismic parameters(?_ν, ν_(max)) and non-asteroseismic parameters(Teff, [Fe/H]). We discover that the six targets include five sub-giant stars with 1.2 ~1.5 M_⊙ and one main-sequence star with 1.08 M_⊙, and with ages in the range of 3 ~5 Gyr. 展开更多

A novel red long-lasting phosphor, (YxGd1-x)2O3:Eu3+, Sm3+, Si4+, Mg2+, was synthesized by the co-precipitation method using oxalate precipitation as the precursor. A novel red long-lasting phosphor, (YxGd1-x)2O3:Eu3+, Sm3+, Si4+, Mg2+, was synthesized by the co-precipitation method using oxalate precipitation as the precursor. X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electronic microscopy (SEM), integrated thermal analyzer (TG), and photoluminescence spectra (PL) as well as the ST-900PM weak light photometer were used to study the synthesis conditions, morphology, luminescence properties, and the decay time of the phosphor. The XRD results show that the products synthesized at 1400~C for 4 h have good crystallization without any detectable impurity phases. Based on the PL spectra, the optimal conditions are as the following. The molar ratios of Y3+ to Gd3+ and Eu3+ to Sm3+ are 2:8 and 3:1, respectively, and the contents of Mg2+ and SiO2 are 5mol% and 3mol%, respectively. The decay time monitored by the ST-900PM weak light photometer is 7200 s, increasing 44% and 100%, respectively, compared with the Eu3+ and Sm3+ single-doped phosphors. The results indicate that the energy transfer is from Sm3+ to Eu3+ ion, and Sm3+ is a good sensitizer to Eu3+. 展开更多

The results of TL show that two intrinsic defects associated with peaks at 346 and 418 K appear in the undoped CdSiO3 phosphor; whereas only one strong cadmium vacancy VCd^11 defect associated with peak at 348 K appears in the Cd1-xInxSiO3 phosphor due to the chemical nonequivalent substitutions of Cd^2+ ions by In^3+ ions. This chemical nonequivalent substitution of In^3+ ions into the CdSiO3 host produced the highly dense cadmium vacancy VCd^11 trap level at 348 K, which resulted in the origin of the long afterglow phenomenon. The findings has enlarged the family of non-rare-earth doped long afterglow phosphors available, and offers a promising approach for searching long afterglow phosphor. 展开更多
