The topic of improving the mechanical stability of external cavity diode lasers(ECDLs)has recently attracted widespread attention and interest.The use of corner-cube-array(CCA)-based resonators provides a potential so...The topic of improving the mechanical stability of external cavity diode lasers(ECDLs)has recently attracted widespread attention and interest.The use of corner-cube-array(CCA)-based resonators provides a potential solution for this purpose,although continuous oscillation at super large incident angle remains challenging.In this work,we employ the CCA resonator to generate continuous oscillation within±20°angular misalignment of cavity mirror in experiment.On the basis of retroreflection theory,the retroreflectivity of a CCA is analyzed by using optical simulation software.Notably,the experiment verifies the advantage of using a CCA over a plane mirror in laser resonator,thereby providing a promising approach for ECDLs.The threshold characteristic curves measured at different incident angles in the experiment verify that the CCA possesses an obvious anti-angle misalignment performance.This research introduces an alternative solution of using CCA resonator instead of parallel plane cavity,thereby realizing an adjustment-free ECDL with enhanced mechanical stability.展开更多
The oilseed crop Camelina sativa exhibits salinity tolerance,but the effects on early growth stages across a range of different salts and in combination with salicylic acid(SA)have not been thoroughly evaluated.In thi...The oilseed crop Camelina sativa exhibits salinity tolerance,but the effects on early growth stages across a range of different salts and in combination with salicylic acid(SA)have not been thoroughly evaluated.In this study,seeds were germinated in varying concentrations of six salts(NaCl,CaCl_(2),ZnCl_(2),KCl,MgSO_(4),and Na2SO_(4))with or without 0.5 mM SA.Using the halotime model,we estimated salt thresholds for germination and parameters of seedling growth.Germination and seedling growth parameters of camelina significantly decreased with increasing salt concentration across all salt types.Salts containing Zn and SO_(4) were most detrimental to germination and seedling growth.Except for KCl,0.5 mM SA generally reduced the salinity tolerance threshold(Saltb(50))of camelina.Specifically,Saltb(50)was 21.5%higher for KCl and 16.1%,25.0%,54.9%,21.0%,and 5.6%lower for CaCl_(2),NaCl,MgSO_(4),Na2SO_(4),and ZnCl_(2),respectively,when 0.5 mM SA was compared to 0 mM SA.Furthermore,camelina seedling growth was consistently more sensitive than germination across all salt types.SA did not significantly enhance germination or seedling growth and was harmful when combined with certain salts or at the germination stage.It can be concluded that both the type of salt and the concentration of SA are as critical as the salt concentration in saline irrigation water.展开更多

Three types of corrosion inhibitors, calcium nitrite (Ca(NO2)2),...This investigation was aimed at evaluating the effectiveness of corrosion inhibitors in increasing the chloride threshold value for steel corrosion. Three types of corrosion inhibitors, calcium nitrite (Ca(NO2)2), zinc oxide (ZnO), and N,N'-dimethylaminoethanol (DMEA), which respectively represented the anodic inhibitor, cathodic inhibitor, and mixed inhibitor, were chosen. The experiment was carried out in a saturated calcium hydroxide (Ca(OH)2) solution to simulate the electrolytic environment of concrete. The inhibitors were initially mixed at different levels, and then chloride ions were gradually added into the solution in several steps. The open-circuit potential (Ecorr) and corrosion current density (lcorr) determined by electrochemical impedance spectra (EIS) were used to identify the initiation of active corrosion, thereby determining the chloride threshold value. It was found that although all the inhibitors were effective in decreasing the corrosion rate of steel reinforcement, they had a marginal effect on increasing the chloride threshold value.展开更多

The ...In this paper, the nanosecond pulse laser surface treatment of the waterborne anti-rust paint on HT250 gray cast iron was carried out. The area and depth of the per-pulse laser ablation paint layer were measured. The threshold of laser energy density was determined through the relations with ablation area and depth. The paint removal mechanism was discussed by analyzing the ablation features of the paint layer on laser cleaning. The features of the paint removal under various laser energy densities were characterized, and the process parameters in the experiments were investigated.The results showed that there were four thresholds and three kinds of mechanisms in the paint removal process with nanosecond pulsed laser. The ablation threshold of substrate was deepened on the laser parameters. The ablation processes were included thermal ablation, thermal vibration and paint ionization concurrently, respectively. The surface cracks and paint debris were observed at the edge of the cleaning path, which were ascribed to the vibration effect by laser. In addition, the vibration effect could significantly increase the width of paint removal. Paint ionization has also a significant influence on the substrate morphology. Paint ionization would have an obvious impact on the formation of the substrate morphology. It is desirable to fabricate approach to remove the paint layer without damaging the substrate under optimized laser parameters by nanosecond pulse laser.展开更多

The influence of the amount of nitrite solution on inhibiting duration was also discussed through a simulation analysis when the amount of solution were 250 g/m^2, 500 g/m^2, 1000 g/m^2 and 1500 g/m^2, respectively. The experimental results confirm that nitrite ion can diffuse well in concrete to reach an effective mol ratio from the surface of the concrete to the surface of the reinforcement, and has an effective protection for the bars against corrosion. The higher the amount of solution, the better it will accelerate getting the threshold value of mol ratio on the surface of rebar, and retarding the time for loosing the effective threshold value of mol ratio. It helps to increase the tendency of inhibiting duration and prolong the life of reinforced concrete. The nitrite solution amount is used to predict the corrosion inhibiting duration of concrete that contains chloride salt.展开更多

A multi-hole vertical-cavity surface-emitting laser (VCSEL) operating in stable single mode with a low threshold current was produced by introducing multi-leaf scallop holes on the top distributed Bragg-refleetor of...A multi-hole vertical-cavity surface-emitting laser (VCSEL) operating in stable single mode with a low threshold current was produced by introducing multi-leaf scallop holes on the top distributed Bragg-refleetor of an oxidation- confined 850 nm VCSEL. The single-mode output power of 2.6 mW, threshold current of 0.6 mA, full width of half maximum lasing spectrum of less than 0.1 nm, side mode suppression ratio of 28.4 dB, and far-field divergence angle of about 10% are obtained. The effects of different hole depths on the optical characteristics are simulated and analysed, including far-field divergence, spectrum and lateral cavity mode. The single-mode performance of this multi-hole device is attributed to the large radiation loss from the inter hole spacing and the scattering loss at the bottom of the holes, particularly for higher order modes.展开更多

Surface and subsurface polishing residues and molecular struct...Polished fused silica samples were etched for different durations by using hydrofluoric(HF) acid solution with HF concentrations in an ultrasonic field. Surface and subsurface polishing residues and molecular structure parameters before and after the etching process were characterized by using a fluorescence microscope and infrared(IR) spectrometer, respectively. The laser induced damage thresholds(LIDTs) of the samples were measured by using pulsed nanosecond laser with wavelength of 355 nm. The results showed that surface and subsurface polishing residues can be effectively reduced by the acid etching process, and the LIDTs of fused silica are significantly improved. The etching effects increased with the increase of the HF concentration from 5 wt.% to 40 wt.%. The amount of polishing residues decreased with the increase of the etching duration and then kept stable. Simultaneously, with the increase of the etching time, the mechanical strength and molecular structure were improved.展开更多

Objective: In order to provide a theoretical basis for the revision of the current diagnostic criteria for occupational noise-induced deafness (ONID), we evaluated the degree of ONID by analyzing different high-freque...Objective: In order to provide a theoretical basis for the revision of the current diagnostic criteria for occupational noise-induced deafness (ONID), we evaluated the degree of ONID by analyzing different high-frequency-hearing- threshold-weighted values (HFTWVs). Methods: A retrospective study was conducted to evaluate the diagnosis of patients with ONID from January 2016 to January 2017 in Guangdong province, China. Based on 3 hearing tests (each interval between the tests was greater than 3 days), the minimum threshold value of each frequency was obtained using the 2007 edition’s diagnostic criteria for ONID. The speech frequency and the HFTWVs were analyzed based on age, noise exposure, and diagnostic classi-fication using SPSS21.0. Results: 168 patients in total were involved in this study, 154 males and 14 females, and the average age was 41.18 ± 6.07. The diagnosis rate was increased by the weighted value of the high frequencies and was more than the mean value of the pure speech frequency (MVPSF). The diagnosis rate for the weighted 4 kHz frequency level increased by 13.69% (χ2 = 9.880, P = 0.002), the weighted 6 kHz level increased by 15.47% (χ2 = 9.985, P = 0.002), and the weighted 4 kHz + 6 kHz level increased by 15.47% (χ2 = 9.985, P = 0.002). The differences were all statistically significant. The diagnostic rate of the different thresholds showed no obvious difference between the genders. The age groups were divided into less than or equal to 40 years old (group A) and 40 - 50 years old (group B). There were several groups with a high frequency: high frequency weighted 4 kHz ( group A χ2 = 3.380, P = 0.050;group B χ2 = 4.054, P = 0.032), high frequency weighted 6 kHz (group A χ2 = 6.362, P = 0.012;group B χ2 = 4.054, P = 0.032), weighted 4 kHz + 6 kHz (group A χ2 = 6.362 P = 0.012;B χ2 = 4.054, P = 0.032) than those of MVPSF in the same group on ONID diagnosis rate. The differences between the groups were statistically significant. There was no significant difference between the age groups (χ2 = 2.265, P = 0.944). The better ear’s (the smaller hearing threshold weighted value) MVPSF and the weighted values for the different high frequencies were examined in light of the number of working years;the group that was exposed to noise for more than 10 years had significantly higher values than those of the average thresholds of each frequency band in the groups with 3 - 5 years of exposure (F = 2.271, P = 0.001) and 6 - 10 years of exposure (F = 1.563, P = 0.046). The differences were statistically significant. The different HFTWVs were higher than those of the MVPSF values, and the high frequency weighted 4 kHz + 6 kHz level showed the greatest difference, with an average increase of 2.83 dB. The diagnostic rate that included the weighted high frequency values was higher for the mild, moderate, and severe cases than those patients who were only screened with the pure frequency tests. The results of the comparisons of the diagnosis rates for mild ONID were as follows: the weighted 3 kHz high frequency level (χ2 = 3.117, P = 0.077) had no significant difference, but the weighted 4 kHz level (χ2 = 10.835, P = 0.001), 6 kHz level (χ2 = 9.985, P = 0.002), 3 kHz + 4 kHz level (χ2 = 6.315, P = 0.012), 3 kHz + 6 kHz level (χ2 = 6.315, P = 0.012), 4 kHz + 6 kHz level (χ2 = 9.985, P = 0.002), and 3 kHz + 4 kHz + 6 kHz level (χ2 = 7.667, P = 0.002) were significantly higher than the diagnosis rate of the mean value of the PSF. There was no significant difference between the 2 groups for the moderate and severe grades (P > 0.05). Conclusion: Different HFTWVs increase the diagnostic rate of ONID. The weighted 4 kHz, 6 kHz, and 4 kHz + 6 kHz high frequency values greatly affected the diagnostic results, and the weighted 4 kHz + 6 kHz high frequency hearing threshold value has the maximum the effect on the ONID diagnosis results.展开更多

The results showed that the stoichiometry of MgF2 film ...The chemical structures, optical properties and laser-induced damage thresholds of magnesium fluoride films annealed at different temperatures were investigated. The results showed that the stoichiometry of MgF2 film changed a little with the increase in annealing temperature. Analysis of the optical properties indicated that excellent antireflection behavior of the film in the range of 200-400 nm can be obtained by the samples coated with MgF2 film. The refractive index increased and the extinction coefficient decreased with increasing annealing temperature. Compared with the asdeposited films, the laser-induced damage threshold was improved after annealing process and decreased with the increase in annealing temperature, which was probably due to the denser film and more absorption centers under higher annealing temperature.展开更多
AIM:To examine possible differences in clinical outcomes between sub-threshold micro-pulse diode laser photocoagulation(SDM) and traditional modified Early Treatment Diabetic Retinopathy Study(mETDRS)treatment pr...AIM:To examine possible differences in clinical outcomes between sub-threshold micro-pulse diode laser photocoagulation(SDM) and traditional modified Early Treatment Diabetic Retinopathy Study(mETDRS)treatment protocol in diabetic macuiar edema(DME).METHODS:A comprehensive literature search using the Cochrane Collaboration methodology to identify RCTs comparing SDM with mETDRS for DME.The participants were type Ⅰ or type Ⅱ diabetes mellitus with clinically significant macuiar edema treated by SDM from previously reported randomized controlled trials(RCTs).The primary outcome measures were the changes in the best corrected visual acuity(BCVA) and the central macuiar thickness(CMT) as measured by optical coherence tomography(OCT).The secondary outcomes were the contrast sensitivity and the damages of the retina.RESULTS:Seven studies were identified and analyzed for comparing SDM(215 eyes) with mETDRS(210 eyes)for DME.There were no statistical differences in the BCVA after treatment between the SDM and mETDRS based on the follow-up:3mo(MD,-0.02;95% Cl,-0.12 to 0.09;P=0.77),6mo(MD,-0.02;95% Cl,-0.12 to 0.09;P=0.75),12mo(MD,-0.05;95% Cl,-0.17 to 0.07;P=0.40).Likewise,there were no statistical differences in the CMT after treatment between the SDM and mETDRS in 3mo(MD,-9.92;95% Cl,-28.69 to 8.85;P=0.30),6mo(MD,-11.37;95% Cl,-29.65 to 6.91;P=0.22),12mo(MD,8.44;95% Cl,-29.89 to 46.77;P=0.67).Three RCTs suggested that SDM laser results in good preservation of contrast sensitivity as mETDRS,in two different followup evaluations:3mo(MD,0.05;95% Cl,0 to 0.09;P=0.04) and 6mo(MD,0.02;95% Cl,-0.10 to 0.14;P=0.78).Two RCTs showed that the SDM laser treatment did less retinal damage than that mETDRS did(OR,0.05;95% Cl,0.02 to 0.13;P〈0.01).CONCLUSION:SDM laser photocoagulation shows an equally good effect on visual acuity,contrast sensitivity,and reduction of DME as compared to conventional mETDRS protocol with less retinal damage.展开更多

By comparing the energy spectra, the two-dimensional momentum spectra, and the angular distributions of photoelectron for the laser pulses with different chirp rates, we show a very clear chirp dependence both in the multiphoton and tunneling ionization processes but no chirp dependence in the single-photon ionization. We find that the chirp dependence in the multiphoton ionization based ATI can be attributed to the excited bound states. In the single-photon and tunneling ionization regimes, the electron can be removed directly from the ground state and thus the excited states may not be very important. It indicates that the chirp dependence in the tunneling ionization based ATI processes is mainly due to the laser pulses with different chirp rates,展开更多

The plasma ignition was monitored utiliz...Plasma ignition threshold of nanoparticle-based and bulk silver targets was measured in air. The plasma was initiated by a Nd:YAG laser at wavelengths of 355, 532, and 1064 nm. The plasma ignition was monitored utilizing the prominent Ag I line at 546.5 nm. Lower ignition thresholds of the nanoparticle-based silver target were estimated at 0.4?±?0.02, 0.34?±?0.04, and 0.27?±?0.035 J cm^(-2) coupled with the different laser wavelengths, respectively. In contrast, the bulk silver target plasma exhibited an order of magnitude higher ignition threshold. A three orders of magnitude enhanced emission intensity from the nano-based target over the bulk target was achieved at lower levels of laser irradiation. A reduction of the thermal diffusion length of the nanosilver was assumed in order to theoretically predict this reduction in the plasma threshold. In addition, the effect of self-reversal on the resonance lines was taken into consideration.展开更多

When both photon energies of the two-color laser fields are much smaller than the at...Using the frequency-domain theory, we investigate the above-threshold ionization(ATI) process of an atom in twocolor laser fields. When both photon energies of the two-color laser fields are much smaller than the atomic ionization threshold, the ATI spectrum depends on the angle between the two lasers' polarization directions. While when the photon energy of one laser is comparable with or larger than the atomic ionization threshold, the ATI spectrum is independent of the angle, and only several dips appear at certain angles. By analyzing the contributions of different quantum channels, we find that, for the case that both frequencies of the two color lasers are low, the quantum interferences between the channels are strong, and hence the spectrum changes with the angle between the two lasers' polarization directions. While for the case that the frequency of one of the two color lasers is high, the contributions of the channels to the ATI spectrum decrease dramatically with increasing channel order, hence the interferences between the channels disappear, and the ATI spectrum has a step-like structure, which is independent of the angle between the two lasers' polarizations. These results can shed light on the study of the corresponding relation between classical and quantum mechanisms of the matter–laser interaction in high-frequency laser fields.展开更多
In this paper,the frequency-locking and threshold current-lowering effects of a quantum cascade laser are studied and achieved.Combined with cavity-enhanced absorption spectroscopy,the noninvasive detection of H_2 wit...In this paper,the frequency-locking and threshold current-lowering effects of a quantum cascade laser are studied and achieved.Combined with cavity-enhanced absorption spectroscopy,the noninvasive detection of H_2 with a prepared concentration of 500 ppm in multiple dissolved gases is performed and evaluated.The high frequency selectivity of 0.0051 cm^-1 at an acquisition time of 1 s allows the sensitive detection of the(1-0) S(l) band of H_2 with a high accuracy of(96.53±0.29)%and shows that the detection limit to an absorption line of 4712.9046 cm^-1 is approximately(17.26±0.63) ppm at an atmospheric pressure and a temperature of 20 ℃.展开更多

文摘The oilseed crop Camelina sativa exhibits salinity tolerance,but the effects on early growth stages across a range of different salts and in combination with salicylic acid(SA)have not been thoroughly evaluated.In this study,seeds were germinated in varying concentrations of six salts(NaCl,CaCl_(2),ZnCl_(2),KCl,MgSO_(4),and Na2SO_(4))with or without 0.5 mM SA.Using the halotime model,we estimated salt thresholds for germination and parameters of seedling growth.Germination and seedling growth parameters of camelina significantly decreased with increasing salt concentration across all salt types.Salts containing Zn and SO_(4) were most detrimental to germination and seedling growth.Except for KCl,0.5 mM SA generally reduced the salinity tolerance threshold(Saltb(50))of camelina.Specifically,Saltb(50)was 21.5%higher for KCl and 16.1%,25.0%,54.9%,21.0%,and 5.6%lower for CaCl_(2),NaCl,MgSO_(4),Na2SO_(4),and ZnCl_(2),respectively,when 0.5 mM SA was compared to 0 mM SA.Furthermore,camelina seedling growth was consistently more sensitive than germination across all salt types.SA did not significantly enhance germination or seedling growth and was harmful when combined with certain salts or at the germination stage.It can be concluded that both the type of salt and the concentration of SA are as critical as the salt concentration in saline irrigation water.

文摘The inhomogeneous broadening parameter and the internal loss of green LDs are determined by experiments and theoretical fitting. It is found that the inhomogeneous broadening plays an important role on the threshold current density of green LDs. The green LD with large inhomogeneous broadening even cannot lase. Therefore, reducing inhomogeneous broadening is a key issue to improve the performance of green LDs.

文摘This investigation was aimed at evaluating the effectiveness of corrosion inhibitors in increasing the chloride threshold value for steel corrosion. Three types of corrosion inhibitors, calcium nitrite (Ca(NO2)2), zinc oxide (ZnO), and N,N'-dimethylaminoethanol (DMEA), which respectively represented the anodic inhibitor, cathodic inhibitor, and mixed inhibitor, were chosen. The experiment was carried out in a saturated calcium hydroxide (Ca(OH)2) solution to simulate the electrolytic environment of concrete. The inhibitors were initially mixed at different levels, and then chloride ions were gradually added into the solution in several steps. The open-circuit potential (Ecorr) and corrosion current density (lcorr) determined by electrochemical impedance spectra (EIS) were used to identify the initiation of active corrosion, thereby determining the chloride threshold value. It was found that although all the inhibitors were effective in decreasing the corrosion rate of steel reinforcement, they had a marginal effect on increasing the chloride threshold value.

文摘In this paper, the nanosecond pulse laser surface treatment of the waterborne anti-rust paint on HT250 gray cast iron was carried out. The area and depth of the per-pulse laser ablation paint layer were measured. The threshold of laser energy density was determined through the relations with ablation area and depth. The paint removal mechanism was discussed by analyzing the ablation features of the paint layer on laser cleaning. The features of the paint removal under various laser energy densities were characterized, and the process parameters in the experiments were investigated.The results showed that there were four thresholds and three kinds of mechanisms in the paint removal process with nanosecond pulsed laser. The ablation threshold of substrate was deepened on the laser parameters. The ablation processes were included thermal ablation, thermal vibration and paint ionization concurrently, respectively. The surface cracks and paint debris were observed at the edge of the cleaning path, which were ascribed to the vibration effect by laser. In addition, the vibration effect could significantly increase the width of paint removal. Paint ionization has also a significant influence on the substrate morphology. Paint ionization would have an obvious impact on the formation of the substrate morphology. It is desirable to fabricate approach to remove the paint layer without damaging the substrate under optimized laser parameters by nanosecond pulse laser.
文摘An accelerated singular value thresholding (SVT) algorithm was introduced for matrix completion in a recent paper [1], which applies an adaptive line search scheme and improves the convergence rate from O(1/N) for SVT to O(1/N2), where N is the number of iterations. In this paper, we show that it is the same as the Nemirovski’s approach, and then modify it to obtain an accelerate Nemirovski’s technique and prove the convergence. Our preliminary computational results are very favorable.

文摘The prediction model for inhibition effect of reinforced concrete was presented based on the Magge's model when the concrete surface was brushed with nitrite solution. The influence of the amount of nitrite solution on inhibiting duration was also discussed through a simulation analysis when the amount of solution were 250 g/m^2, 500 g/m^2, 1000 g/m^2 and 1500 g/m^2, respectively. The experimental results confirm that nitrite ion can diffuse well in concrete to reach an effective mol ratio from the surface of the concrete to the surface of the reinforcement, and has an effective protection for the bars against corrosion. The higher the amount of solution, the better it will accelerate getting the threshold value of mol ratio on the surface of rebar, and retarding the time for loosing the effective threshold value of mol ratio. It helps to increase the tendency of inhibiting duration and prolong the life of reinforced concrete. The nitrite solution amount is used to predict the corrosion inhibiting duration of concrete that contains chloride salt.

文摘A strain-compensated InP-based quantum cascade laser(QCL) structure emitting at 4.6 μm is demonstrated,based on a two-phonon resonant design and grown by solid-source molecular beam epitaxy(MBE).By optimizing the growth parameters,a very high quality heterostructure with the lowest threshold current densities ever reported for QCLs was fabricated.Threshold current densities as low as 0.47 kA/cm^2 in pulsed operation and 0.56 kA/cm^2 in continuous-wave(cw) operation at 293 K were achieved for this state-of-the-art QCL.A minimum power consumption of 3.65 W was measured for the QCL,uncooled,with a high-reflectivity(HR) coating on its rear facet.

文摘A multi-hole vertical-cavity surface-emitting laser (VCSEL) operating in stable single mode with a low threshold current was produced by introducing multi-leaf scallop holes on the top distributed Bragg-refleetor of an oxidation- confined 850 nm VCSEL. The single-mode output power of 2.6 mW, threshold current of 0.6 mA, full width of half maximum lasing spectrum of less than 0.1 nm, side mode suppression ratio of 28.4 dB, and far-field divergence angle of about 10% are obtained. The effects of different hole depths on the optical characteristics are simulated and analysed, including far-field divergence, spectrum and lateral cavity mode. The single-mode performance of this multi-hole device is attributed to the large radiation loss from the inter hole spacing and the scattering loss at the bottom of the holes, particularly for higher order modes.

文摘Polished fused silica samples were etched for different durations by using hydrofluoric(HF) acid solution with HF concentrations in an ultrasonic field. Surface and subsurface polishing residues and molecular structure parameters before and after the etching process were characterized by using a fluorescence microscope and infrared(IR) spectrometer, respectively. The laser induced damage thresholds(LIDTs) of the samples were measured by using pulsed nanosecond laser with wavelength of 355 nm. The results showed that surface and subsurface polishing residues can be effectively reduced by the acid etching process, and the LIDTs of fused silica are significantly improved. The etching effects increased with the increase of the HF concentration from 5 wt.% to 40 wt.%. The amount of polishing residues decreased with the increase of the etching duration and then kept stable. Simultaneously, with the increase of the etching time, the mechanical strength and molecular structure were improved.

The automatic damage testing facility was built to determine the LIDT of optics at 1 064 nm and 355 nm.. The cleanning and processing procedure of the substrate and coating technique were improved, and the damage resistance of high-reflective coating at 1 064 nm was increased.
文摘Objective: In order to provide a theoretical basis for the revision of the current diagnostic criteria for occupational noise-induced deafness (ONID), we evaluated the degree of ONID by analyzing different high-frequency-hearing- threshold-weighted values (HFTWVs). Methods: A retrospective study was conducted to evaluate the diagnosis of patients with ONID from January 2016 to January 2017 in Guangdong province, China. Based on 3 hearing tests (each interval between the tests was greater than 3 days), the minimum threshold value of each frequency was obtained using the 2007 edition’s diagnostic criteria for ONID. The speech frequency and the HFTWVs were analyzed based on age, noise exposure, and diagnostic classi-fication using SPSS21.0. Results: 168 patients in total were involved in this study, 154 males and 14 females, and the average age was 41.18 ± 6.07. The diagnosis rate was increased by the weighted value of the high frequencies and was more than the mean value of the pure speech frequency (MVPSF). The diagnosis rate for the weighted 4 kHz frequency level increased by 13.69% (χ2 = 9.880, P = 0.002), the weighted 6 kHz level increased by 15.47% (χ2 = 9.985, P = 0.002), and the weighted 4 kHz + 6 kHz level increased by 15.47% (χ2 = 9.985, P = 0.002). The differences were all statistically significant. The diagnostic rate of the different thresholds showed no obvious difference between the genders. The age groups were divided into less than or equal to 40 years old (group A) and 40 - 50 years old (group B). There were several groups with a high frequency: high frequency weighted 4 kHz ( group A χ2 = 3.380, P = 0.050;group B χ2 = 4.054, P = 0.032), high frequency weighted 6 kHz (group A χ2 = 6.362, P = 0.012;group B χ2 = 4.054, P = 0.032), weighted 4 kHz + 6 kHz (group A χ2 = 6.362 P = 0.012;B χ2 = 4.054, P = 0.032) than those of MVPSF in the same group on ONID diagnosis rate. The differences between the groups were statistically significant. There was no significant difference between the age groups (χ2 = 2.265, P = 0.944). The better ear’s (the smaller hearing threshold weighted value) MVPSF and the weighted values for the different high frequencies were examined in light of the number of working years;the group that was exposed to noise for more than 10 years had significantly higher values than those of the average thresholds of each frequency band in the groups with 3 - 5 years of exposure (F = 2.271, P = 0.001) and 6 - 10 years of exposure (F = 1.563, P = 0.046). The differences were statistically significant. The different HFTWVs were higher than those of the MVPSF values, and the high frequency weighted 4 kHz + 6 kHz level showed the greatest difference, with an average increase of 2.83 dB. The diagnostic rate that included the weighted high frequency values was higher for the mild, moderate, and severe cases than those patients who were only screened with the pure frequency tests. The results of the comparisons of the diagnosis rates for mild ONID were as follows: the weighted 3 kHz high frequency level (χ2 = 3.117, P = 0.077) had no significant difference, but the weighted 4 kHz level (χ2 = 10.835, P = 0.001), 6 kHz level (χ2 = 9.985, P = 0.002), 3 kHz + 4 kHz level (χ2 = 6.315, P = 0.012), 3 kHz + 6 kHz level (χ2 = 6.315, P = 0.012), 4 kHz + 6 kHz level (χ2 = 9.985, P = 0.002), and 3 kHz + 4 kHz + 6 kHz level (χ2 = 7.667, P = 0.002) were significantly higher than the diagnosis rate of the mean value of the PSF. There was no significant difference between the 2 groups for the moderate and severe grades (P > 0.05). Conclusion: Different HFTWVs increase the diagnostic rate of ONID. The weighted 4 kHz, 6 kHz, and 4 kHz + 6 kHz high frequency values greatly affected the diagnostic results, and the weighted 4 kHz + 6 kHz high frequency hearing threshold value has the maximum the effect on the ONID diagnosis results.

文摘Quantum singular value thresholding(QSVT) algorithm,as a core module of many mathematical models,seeks the singular values of a sparse and low rank matrix exceeding a threshold and their associated singular vectors.The existing all-qubit QSVT algorithm demands lots of ancillary qubits,remaining a huge challenge for realization on nearterm intermediate-scale quantum computers.In this paper,we propose a hybrid QSVT(HQSVT) algorithm utilizing both discrete variables(DVs) and continuous variables(CVs).In our algorithm,raw data vectors are encoded into a qubit system and the following data processing is fulfilled by hybrid quantum operations.Our algorithm requires O [log(MN)] qubits with0(1) qumodes and totally performs 0(1) operations,which significantly reduces the space and runtime consumption.

文摘The chemical structures, optical properties and laser-induced damage thresholds of magnesium fluoride films annealed at different temperatures were investigated. The results showed that the stoichiometry of MgF2 film changed a little with the increase in annealing temperature. Analysis of the optical properties indicated that excellent antireflection behavior of the film in the range of 200-400 nm can be obtained by the samples coated with MgF2 film. The refractive index increased and the extinction coefficient decreased with increasing annealing temperature. Compared with the asdeposited films, the laser-induced damage threshold was improved after annealing process and decreased with the increase in annealing temperature, which was probably due to the denser film and more absorption centers under higher annealing temperature.
文摘AIM:To examine possible differences in clinical outcomes between sub-threshold micro-pulse diode laser photocoagulation(SDM) and traditional modified Early Treatment Diabetic Retinopathy Study(mETDRS)treatment protocol in diabetic macuiar edema(DME).METHODS:A comprehensive literature search using the Cochrane Collaboration methodology to identify RCTs comparing SDM with mETDRS for DME.The participants were type Ⅰ or type Ⅱ diabetes mellitus with clinically significant macuiar edema treated by SDM from previously reported randomized controlled trials(RCTs).The primary outcome measures were the changes in the best corrected visual acuity(BCVA) and the central macuiar thickness(CMT) as measured by optical coherence tomography(OCT).The secondary outcomes were the contrast sensitivity and the damages of the retina.RESULTS:Seven studies were identified and analyzed for comparing SDM(215 eyes) with mETDRS(210 eyes)for DME.There were no statistical differences in the BCVA after treatment between the SDM and mETDRS based on the follow-up:3mo(MD,-0.02;95% Cl,-0.12 to 0.09;P=0.77),6mo(MD,-0.02;95% Cl,-0.12 to 0.09;P=0.75),12mo(MD,-0.05;95% Cl,-0.17 to 0.07;P=0.40).Likewise,there were no statistical differences in the CMT after treatment between the SDM and mETDRS in 3mo(MD,-9.92;95% Cl,-28.69 to 8.85;P=0.30),6mo(MD,-11.37;95% Cl,-29.65 to 6.91;P=0.22),12mo(MD,8.44;95% Cl,-29.89 to 46.77;P=0.67).Three RCTs suggested that SDM laser results in good preservation of contrast sensitivity as mETDRS,in two different followup evaluations:3mo(MD,0.05;95% Cl,0 to 0.09;P=0.04) and 6mo(MD,0.02;95% Cl,-0.10 to 0.14;P=0.78).Two RCTs showed that the SDM laser treatment did less retinal damage than that mETDRS did(OR,0.05;95% Cl,0.02 to 0.13;P〈0.01).CONCLUSION:SDM laser photocoagulation shows an equally good effect on visual acuity,contrast sensitivity,and reduction of DME as compared to conventional mETDRS protocol with less retinal damage.

文摘Above-threshold ionization (ATI) of a hydrogen atom exposed to chirped laser fields is investigated theoretically by solving the time-dependent Schrodinger equation. By comparing the energy spectra, the two-dimensional momentum spectra, and the angular distributions of photoelectron for the laser pulses with different chirp rates, we show a very clear chirp dependence both in the multiphoton and tunneling ionization processes but no chirp dependence in the single-photon ionization. We find that the chirp dependence in the multiphoton ionization based ATI can be attributed to the excited bound states. In the single-photon and tunneling ionization regimes, the electron can be removed directly from the ground state and thus the excited states may not be very important. It indicates that the chirp dependence in the tunneling ionization based ATI processes is mainly due to the laser pulses with different chirp rates,

文摘Plasma ignition threshold of nanoparticle-based and bulk silver targets was measured in air. The plasma was initiated by a Nd:YAG laser at wavelengths of 355, 532, and 1064 nm. The plasma ignition was monitored utilizing the prominent Ag I line at 546.5 nm. Lower ignition thresholds of the nanoparticle-based silver target were estimated at 0.4?±?0.02, 0.34?±?0.04, and 0.27?±?0.035 J cm^(-2) coupled with the different laser wavelengths, respectively. In contrast, the bulk silver target plasma exhibited an order of magnitude higher ignition threshold. A three orders of magnitude enhanced emission intensity from the nano-based target over the bulk target was achieved at lower levels of laser irradiation. A reduction of the thermal diffusion length of the nanosilver was assumed in order to theoretically predict this reduction in the plasma threshold. In addition, the effect of self-reversal on the resonance lines was taken into consideration.

文摘Using the frequency-domain theory, we investigate the above-threshold ionization(ATI) process of an atom in twocolor laser fields. When both photon energies of the two-color laser fields are much smaller than the atomic ionization threshold, the ATI spectrum depends on the angle between the two lasers' polarization directions. While when the photon energy of one laser is comparable with or larger than the atomic ionization threshold, the ATI spectrum is independent of the angle, and only several dips appear at certain angles. By analyzing the contributions of different quantum channels, we find that, for the case that both frequencies of the two color lasers are low, the quantum interferences between the channels are strong, and hence the spectrum changes with the angle between the two lasers' polarization directions. While for the case that the frequency of one of the two color lasers is high, the contributions of the channels to the ATI spectrum decrease dramatically with increasing channel order, hence the interferences between the channels disappear, and the ATI spectrum has a step-like structure, which is independent of the angle between the two lasers' polarizations. These results can shed light on the study of the corresponding relation between classical and quantum mechanisms of the matter–laser interaction in high-frequency laser fields.

文摘In this paper,the frequency-locking and threshold current-lowering effects of a quantum cascade laser are studied and achieved.Combined with cavity-enhanced absorption spectroscopy,the noninvasive detection of H_2 with a prepared concentration of 500 ppm in multiple dissolved gases is performed and evaluated.The high frequency selectivity of 0.0051 cm^-1 at an acquisition time of 1 s allows the sensitive detection of the(1-0) S(l) band of H_2 with a high accuracy of(96.53±0.29)%and shows that the detection limit to an absorption line of 4712.9046 cm^-1 is approximately(17.26±0.63) ppm at an atmospheric pressure and a temperature of 20 ℃.
