With the intensification of climate change and ecological environmental degradation,the role of postgraduate landscape design disciplines in achieving sustainable development goals has become increasingly prominent.Na...With the intensification of climate change and ecological environmental degradation,the role of postgraduate landscape design disciplines in achieving sustainable development goals has become increasingly prominent.Nature-based Solutions(NbS),as an emerging concept,emphasize addressing social and environmental challenges through natural processes,offering a new direction for landscape design education.This study explored the reform of and reflections on landscape design courses for postgraduates guided by Nature-based Solutions.In response to the issues of disconnection between theory and practice and insufficient interdisciplinary integration in current graduate education in landscape design,this paper proposed a curriculum reform pathway oriented towards nature-based solutions.A new model for cultivating postgraduates in landscape design was explored by reconstructing the curriculum system,innovating teaching methods,and improving evaluation mechanisms.Moreover,drawing on the practical case of graduate teaching at Zhongyuan University of Technology,specific implementation strategies and outcomes of the curriculum reform were analyzed.This paper also reflected on the challenges encountered during the reform process and proposed corresponding optimization suggestions,aiming to provide a reference for the innovative development of graduate education in landscape design in China.展开更多

This paper p...Landscape design for a green community should be favorable for the ambient ecological environment and for enhancement of both the local climate of a residential area and the environmental quality of life. This paper presents optimization methods for plant landscape design that take account of results of comparisons of noise reduction effects, heat island temperature decreases and effects on ventilation. These methods are based on different plant configurations and various luminous environments, such as exterior sunshine and shaded areas after the simulation of exterior luminous, acoustic and thermal environments of a residential area using the analytic software ECOTECT, CADNA/A, and PHEONICS. Three different types of residential buildings are simulated including a faculty apartment in the Xixi Campus of Zhejiang University, the Huaqing Villa and the Gangwan Jiayuan faculty apartment of Zhejiang University, China, based on green building design theory. In addition, the methods and process flow of landscape design of green residential areas are also described for the improvement of the exterior physical living environment.展开更多

The evaluation system was divided into four layers, including the target layer, the comprehensive layer, the element layer, and the index layer. Each layer was made of different indices. The evaluation standards for each index were also given in this paper. This evaluation model was proved tenable through its application to the landscape design rationality evaluation of the Weihe River in Xinxiang City of Henan Province. The results show that the water quality, space, activity, facility, community, width of vegetation, sense of beauty and water content are among the most influential factors and should be considered the main basis for evaluating the rationality of the landscape design of urban rivers.展开更多
The problem of water pollution is one of the long-term difficulties in the process of rural environmental construction and economic development in China.In order to meet the requirements of the country’s green and su...The problem of water pollution is one of the long-term difficulties in the process of rural environmental construction and economic development in China.In order to meet the requirements of the country’s green and sustainable development,many regions actively promote the construction of rural sewage treatment and fill in the shortcomings of the rural habitat environment to accelerate the construction of beautiful and livable villages.Through a lot of literature and case studies,this paper explores the environmental problems that are common in rural sewage treatment in the northern region of China,explores advanced domestic and foreign cases and technologies on this topic,and summarizes the landscape design strategies on this issue.From the perspective of ecological landscape design,the thesis seeks the theoretical and technical support for rural sewage treatment in river valley areas,and establishes a bridge between rural sewage treatment technology and ecological landscape.Finally,combining theory with practice,taking the project of Lushi sewage treatment in Sanmenxia as an example,team completed the landscape design of ecological sewage purification display area in Zhangjiacun.The design focuses on presenting the application of internal sewage treatment technology and external landscape aesthetics.According to the main points of ecological landscape design and the theory of ecological edge effect,the local ecological system is effectively protected,and a rural domestic sewage purification display area with economic benefits is constructed.展开更多

Three different types of residential buildings are simulated including a faculty apartment in the Xixi Campus of Zhejiang University, the Huaqing Villa and the Gangwan Jiayuan faculty apartment of Zhejiang University, China, based on green building design theory. In addition, the methods and process flow of landscape design of green residential areas are also described for the improvement of the exterior physical living environment.

文摘An evaluation model for the rationality of the landscape design of urban rivers was established with the analytic hierarchy process （AHP） method so as to provide a foundation for updating the landscape design of urban rivers. The evaluation system was divided into four layers, including the target layer, the comprehensive layer, the element layer, and the index layer. Each layer was made of different indices. The evaluation standards for each index were also given in this paper. This evaluation model was proved tenable through its application to the landscape design rationality evaluation of the Weihe River in Xinxiang City of Henan Province. The results show that the water quality, space, activity, facility, community, width of vegetation, sense of beauty and water content are among the most influential factors and should be considered the main basis for evaluating the rationality of the landscape design of urban rivers.
文摘The problem of water pollution is one of the long-term difficulties in the process of rural environmental construction and economic development in China.In order to meet the requirements of the country’s green and sustainable development,many regions actively promote the construction of rural sewage treatment and fill in the shortcomings of the rural habitat environment to accelerate the construction of beautiful and livable villages.Through a lot of literature and case studies,this paper explores the environmental problems that are common in rural sewage treatment in the northern region of China,explores advanced domestic and foreign cases and technologies on this topic,and summarizes the landscape design strategies on this issue.From the perspective of ecological landscape design,the thesis seeks the theoretical and technical support for rural sewage treatment in river valley areas,and establishes a bridge between rural sewage treatment technology and ecological landscape.Finally,combining theory with practice,taking the project of Lushi sewage treatment in Sanmenxia as an example,team completed the landscape design of ecological sewage purification display area in Zhangjiacun.The design focuses on presenting the application of internal sewage treatment technology and external landscape aesthetics.According to the main points of ecological landscape design and the theory of ecological edge effect,the local ecological system is effectively protected,and a rural domestic sewage purification display area with economic benefits is constructed.
文摘Approaches of external landscape design for affordable housing were discussed through analyzing the landscape designs of Yuxing Homeland in Shanghai City. By adopting simple landscape elements, following the design principle of 'natural, simple and comfortable', proceeding from the overall concept, a space for neighbors’ communication with pleasant environment and outstanding functions was created, a harmonious living environment was built, and the optimal landscape benefits were obtained.

文摘Small urban street parks play an irreplaceable role in protecting ecological environment of cities and beautifying living spaces of citizens, in these parks plant is an essential landscaping element that can not only improve environmental quality, but also provide visual enjoyment for viewers. There are many small street parks in Zhanjiang City, however, plant landscapes in such parks lack in regional characteristics because of blind copy and random planting. By analyzing plant landscapes in typical street parks in Zhanjiang, and borrowing the theoretical research framework of linguistics, this paper concluded the vocabulary, sentence,chapter and grammatical rules of plant landscape design, in order to explore new methods for the plant landscape design of small parks in tropical coastal regions.

In order to better safeguard complex ecological system and ecological civilization construction in tiie city, and solve the appropriate ratio of water and wetland area to total land area, for water ecological civilization construction in low impact development, the pursuit of water resources sustainability, the pursuit of safety concept, the pursuit of ecological engineeting technology and the pursuit of art are proposed. Based on these pursuits, the principles and design methods of campus landscape creation in colleges and univefsities under the concept of elow impact^ is analyzed. Taking the landscape design, of the shated training base from Jiangsu Vocational Institute of Architectural Technology as an example, how to use the concept of clow impacf？ development in actual cases is analyze4 to achieve rainwater collection, water purification, water storage and rainwater ecological utilization, and create a holistic, ecological and diverse sustainable landscape in colleges and universities.

文摘Business Zone B of Shanghai World Expo is the dynamic cluster area of well-known enterprise headquarters,and it has created the scheme layout of integrated design above and below ground according to regional planning characteristics and the characteristics of the times.The underground space landscape design of Business Zone B of Shanghai World Expo is a typical case of underground space development in China,and the summary of design strategy is helpful for improving underground space landscape design level in China.The existing problems in landscape design of Business Zone B of Shanghai World Expo are found through fi eld investigation,and the law of underground space landscape design in Business Zone B is summarized.Due to the fact that the development of underground space can not be reversed,the optimization design strategy of underground space landscape,such as strengthening the connectivity of underground space,enriching the sunken square and courtyard,and creating good physical environment of underground space,is put forward to improve the status quo of underground space environment.The construction level of underground space landscape in China has been constantly improving.As long as the urban planning is reasonable and pays attention to the application of integrated design of ground and underground,architectural technology and art combination in underground space environment,the construction of urban underground space landscape will become more ecological,humanized and diversifi ed.
