Variable thicknesses in the lowest half-ηmodel level (LML) are often used in atmospheric models to compute surface diagnostic fields such as surface latent and sensible heat fluxes.The effects of the LML on simulated tropical cyclone (TC)evolution were investigated in this study using the Weather Research and Forecasting (WRF) model.The results demonstrated notable influences of the LML on TC evolution when the LML was placed below 12 m.The TC intensification rate decreased progressively with a lowering of the LML,but its ultimate intensity change was relatively small.The maximum 10-m winds showed different behavior to minimum sea level pressure and azimuthally-averaged tangential winds,and thus the windpressure relationship was changed accordingly by varying the LML.The TC circulation was more contracted in association with a higher LML.Surface latent heat fluxes were enhanced greatly by elevating the LML,wherein the wind speed at the LML played a dominant role.The changes in the wind speed at the LML were dependent not only on their profile differences,but also the different heights they were taken from.Due to the enhanced surface heat fluxes,more intense latent heat release occurred in the eyewall,which boosted the storm's intensification.A higher LML tended to produce a stronger storm,and therefore the surface friction was reinforced,which in turn induced stronger boundary layer inflow together with increased diabatic heating. 展开更多

A new scheme for 2D ir- regular-shaped nesting problem is proposed. The new scheme is based on the NFP (No Fit Polygon) algorithm and a new placement principle for pieces. The novel placement principle is to place a piece to the position with lowest gravity center based on NFP. In addition, genetic algorithm (GA) is adopted to find an efficient nesting sequence. The proposed scheme can deal with pieces with arbitrary rotation and containing region with holes, and achieves competitive results in experiment on benchmark datasets. 展开更多

Objective One of major challenges in paleoenvironmental reconstruction using travertine in the Huanglong area is whether one can accurately determinate the age of travertine through high-precision and high-resolution dating techniques. Previous works of 14C or ESR chronology, however, have shown that the variation of deposition ages of travertine was displayed inconsistent with each other even conflict. For instance, (1) The oldest travertine age (80 ka) located in the middle of this travertine succession is departure from sequential deposition; (2) Top or boundary ages in this sedimentary section, even with the same dating method (14C), are three times errors, moreover, the age of the depositional sequence is not continuous. We report here the U230Th ages in lowest boundary of travertine in Dawanzhangjia Valley, Huanglong, China, to discuss the effectiveness of U-series dating for cold-water travertine and the significance of age for vicissitude of paleoenvironment. 展开更多

We measure the rotational populations of ultracold SS Rbla3 Cs molecules in the lowest vibrational ground state by a depletion spectroscopy and quantify the molecular production rate based on the measurement of single ion signal area. The SSRb133Cs molecules in the X1∑+(v = 0) are formed from the short-range (2)^3П0+(V = 10, J = 0) molecular state. A home-made external-cavity diode laser is used as the depletion laser to measure the rotational populations of the formed molecules. Based on the determination of single ion signal, the production rates of molecules in the J=0 and J = 2 rotational levels are derived to be 4800mole/s and 7200mole/s, respectively. The resolution and quantification of molecules in rotational states are facilitative for the manipulation of rotational quantum state of ultracold molecules. 展开更多

The Permian Triassic boundary (PTB) and the lowest Triassic in the Yangtze region are considered to be the sediments of dysaeroxic and even anoxic environments, due to the dark thin bedded fine deposits, the highly developed parallel beddings with pyrites, the suppression of bio disturbance, and the monotonous fossils. However, the trace fossils there show a rather weak effect of the anoxic event. Meanwhile, the high resolution geochemical data are analyzed with 2 cm interval in the PTB and the lowest Triassic at the Majiashan Section, Chaohu, Anhui Province. The results show that the water depth of Chaohu region in the earliest Triassic was shallow, which might be a feature of the neritic environment. The high resolution geochemical proxies for anoxia have some contrary results. The geochemical data often indicate the dysaeroxic and even anoxic environments during that time, whereas other proxies (such as w (V)/ w (Cr), w (Ni)/ w (Co)) denote that they are normal marine sediments. 展开更多

We investigate the production of ultracold ground state x^1∑7+(u = 0) RbCs molecules in the lowest vibrational level via short-range photoassociation followed by spontaneous emission. The starting point is the laser cooled 85Rb and laa cs atoms in a dual species, forced dark magneto-optical trap. The special intermediate level (5)O+ (u = 10) correlated to the (2)311 electric state is achieved by the photoassociation process. The formed ground state X1∑+ (u = 0) molecule is resonantly excited to the 2111 intermediate state by a 651 nm pulse laser and is ionized by a 532nm pulse laser and then detected by the time-of-flight mass spectrum. Saturation of the photoionization spectroscopy at large ionization laser energy is observed and the ionization efficiency is obtained from the fitting. The production of ultracold ground state 85Rblaacs molecules is facilitative for the further research about the manipulation of ultracold molecules in the rovibrational ground state. 展开更多

The procurement of public construction projects must walk a fine line between the corruption of state officials and collusion of contractors. The method of awarding projects to the lowest responsible tenderer was originally implemented to guard against corruption of state officials. However, an investigation of the construction industry in the Canadian province of Quebec showed that lowest-tender-offer procurement gave rise to collusion of companies tendering for the contracts. Alternatively, bestvalue procurement has been used for decades, but here problems arise owing to the necessity of subjective judging of measures other than price to compare bids, giving rise to time-and money-consuming protests. The paper proposes a compelling argument that the construction engineering management(CEM) culture should refocus its efforts on enhancing project cost certainty rather than merely searching for means to design a project in a manner that produces the lowest initial cost, and awards the construction to the lowest tender offer that focuses on cost savings during the project development and delivery process. The difference in the two approaches is subtle but extremely important. To make the transition, the engineering management tools must be advanced to the next level.This means that all project control tools for managing cost,schedule, and technical scope must be transformed from working in the deterministic mode to the stochastic mode,thus making the probability of completing the projectwithin or below its official budget the primary decision criterion. To do so, CEMs must accept that there is a benefit in paying more for an alternative that increases cost certainty for the entire project. The authors of this paper hope that it will provide the grist for a more general dialog across all industry sectors where engineering management is practiced. 展开更多

In this paper, we focus on efficient processing of XML keyword queries based on smallest lowest common ancestor (SLCA) semantics. For a given query Q with m keywords, we propose to use stable matches as the basis for SLCA computation, where each stable match M consists of m nodes that belong to the m distinct keyword inverted lists of Q. M satisfies that no other lowest common ancestor (LCA) node of Q can be found to be located after the first node of M and be a descendant of the LCA of M, based on which the operation of locating a stable match can skip more useless nodes. We propose two stable match based algorithms for SLCA computation, i.e., BSLCA and HSLCA. BSLCA processes two keyword inverted lists each time from the shortest to the longest, while HSLCA processes all keyword inverted lists in a holistic way to avoid the problem of redundant computation invoked by BSLCA. Our extensive experimental results verify the performance advantages of our methods according to various evaluation metrics. 展开更多

为了解决大理石板的下料问题,确保成品矩形板材的纹理和色差一致,同时提高材料的利用率,采取轮廓提取算法对大理石母板可排样区域进行轮廓提取,提出了基于母板滑动策略的矩形件排样方法。采用齐头切约束下的最低水平线算法构建样件域,... 为了解决大理石板的下料问题,确保成品矩形板材的纹理和色差一致,同时提高材料的利用率,采取轮廓提取算法对大理石母板可排样区域进行轮廓提取,提出了基于母板滑动策略的矩形件排样方法。采用齐头切约束下的最低水平线算法构建样件域,提出融合人工蜂群算法和黑寡妇算法的混合算法(ABWO)对样件域进行优化。通过母板在样件域中进行滑动与旋转寻优,以母板填充率作为评价指标,实现了最优排样方案的高效求解。实验结果表明:在单一规格矩形的排样实验中,所提方法排样时间缩短90%以上,排样填充率与传统方法相当,排样结果满足一刀切约束,有利于后续切割下料;非单一规格矩形排样实验中,采用ABWO算法对零件排入顺序进行优化,样件域填充率提高5%。结合母板滑动策略,最终排样填充率与传统排样方法相比提高了3%。 展开更多

Electrochemical Precipitation Energy-Assisted Aqueous Battery with High Voltage and High Electrode Utilization

Increasing battery voltage and electrode utilization is of great significance for improving the energy density of aqueous battery.Herein,for the first time,this work introduces an integrated design strategy to regulate electrode potential and improve electrode utilization based on the concept of electrochemical precipitation energy.By coupling precipitation reaction with original electrode reaction,the Gibbs free energy change(ΔrG^(θ))of the precipitation reaction is coupled to battery reaction’sΔrG^(θ),thereby altering battery’s voltage.Besides,the electrode reaction changes to solid-to-solid reaction after coupling with precipitation reaction,which can improve electrode utilization.The potential of Cu is reduced from 0.34 to-0.96 V(the lowest value among all the reported Cu anode)with a Cu utilization of 87.93%(without additional copper in electrolyte)by coupling Cu_(2)S’s precipitation reaction.Furthermore,the potential of I_(2) is increased from 0.54 to 0.65 V(I_(2)/CuI)and 0.73 V(I_(2)/PbI_(2))by coupling precipitation reaction of CuI and PbI_(2) and the shutting effect of I_(3)^(-)is also limited.As proof of concept,a full Cu_(2)S battery(cathode:S/Cu_(2)S,anode:Cu/Cu_(2)S)is designed with average discharge voltage of 1.12 V,which is the highest value among all the Cu-based aqueous batteries.Due to the certain universality of this strategy,this work provides a new path to regulate the electrode reaction potential and improve electrode utilization. 展开更多

为了减少含异形板件的板式家具打包的包裹个数,提出基于禁忌搜索的该类板式家具码垛优化算法;分析该类板式家具码垛问题的约束条件,并建立目标函数;采用可以有效确定订单中所有该类板式家具码垛顺序与旋转方向的编码方式,并利用启发式... 为了减少含异形板件的板式家具打包的包裹个数,提出基于禁忌搜索的该类板式家具码垛优化算法;分析该类板式家具码垛问题的约束条件,并建立目标函数;采用可以有效确定订单中所有该类板式家具码垛顺序与旋转方向的编码方式,并利用启发式算法生成实时监测包裹质量的较优初始解,以便利用禁忌搜索求解该类板式家具码垛问题;结合临界多边形和最低水平线法,设计将编码转换为对应码垛方案的解码方式,并给出所提出算法的适配值函数及邻域结构;利用禁忌搜索计算该类板式家具订单,确定并优化每个板件的码垛顺序、旋转方向与码垛位置,得到包裹个数较少的码垛方案;选取欧洲排样问题兴趣小组(ESICUP)提供的算例测试所提出的算法,并与已有研究中可复现的板件智能分包方法对比。结果表明,相对于对比方法,所提出算法所得该类板式家具打包的包裹个数减少38.46%,验证了所提出算法的可行性与有效性。 展开更多

目的 观察阻塞性睡眠呼吸暂停(OSA)患者快速眼动(REM)、非快速眼动(NREM)睡眠期血压变化的特征,分析不同睡眠期阻塞性呼吸事件对血压的影响。方法 采用横断面研究的方法,选取确诊为OSA的患者1 219例,对患者REM、NREM睡眠期的阻塞性呼吸... 目的 观察阻塞性睡眠呼吸暂停(OSA)患者快速眼动(REM)、非快速眼动(NREM)睡眠期血压变化的特征,分析不同睡眠期阻塞性呼吸事件对血压的影响。方法 采用横断面研究的方法,选取确诊为OSA的患者1 219例,对患者REM、NREM睡眠期的阻塞性呼吸事件和血压进行监测,分析OSA患者在不同睡眠期血压波动的特点以及阻塞性呼吸事件对血压波动的影响。结果 随着OSA病情的加重,患者不同睡眠期的SBP、DBP均呈现上升趋势。SBP、DBP、平均呼吸暂停时间(MAT)、平均低通气时间(MHT)、最低血氧饱和度(LSpO_(2))、氧减指数(ODI)指标在不同睡眠期的差异有统计学意义(P<0.05)。经多元线性回归分析,REM睡眠期的SBP与LSpO_(2)、呼吸暂停低通气指数(AHI)呈负相关(P<0.05),与ODI呈正相关(P<0.05);DBP与LSpO_(2)、AHI、MHT呈负相关(P<0.05),与ODI呈正相关(P<0.05)。NREM睡眠期的SBP、DBP与LSpO_(2)呈负相关(P<0.05)。结论 随OSA病情的加重,患者不同睡眠期的血压值随之升高,OSA患者REM睡眠期的血压水平高于NREM睡眠期,LSpO_(2)与患者不同睡眠期间的血压变化密切相关,AHI、ODI、MHT与患者REM睡眠期的血压变化密切相关。 展开更多

近年来,受到降水与蒸发量变化、引调水工程建设以及工农业生产生活用水等多个方面影响,云南省程海湖流域出现生态水量缺乏、湖泊水位持续下降以及水资源承载力不足等问题。基于此,开展了程海湖最低生态水位分析与预测研究。基于程海湖... 近年来,受到降水与蒸发量变化、引调水工程建设以及工农业生产生活用水等多个方面影响,云南省程海湖流域出现生态水量缺乏、湖泊水位持续下降以及水资源承载力不足等问题。基于此,开展了程海湖最低生态水位分析与预测研究。基于程海湖河口水文站1985~2021年实测水位数据,采用最低年平均水位法、天然水位资料法、湖泊形态数据法对程海湖历史水位演变进行综合分析,得到程海湖现阶段最低生态水位为1495.43 m。并以未来程海湖水位恢复法定最低水位的年份为界,计算确定了1499.20 m为程海湖最低生态水位。根据生态水位计算结果和程海湖已建、在建的引、调水工程补水量,预测程海湖未来恢复法定最低生态水位年份为2025年。研究成果将为程海湖生态系统的修复、湖区治理与保护、合理开发利用流域水资源以及推进高原湖泊综合治理与保护提供参考。 展开更多

降低辅助系统能耗是在不提升电池容量前提下增加电动汽车续航里程和消减里程焦虑最为有效的技术途径之一。风扇与水泵是冷却辅助系统的重要组成部分,是保证电动汽车电机与动力电池正常工作的核心部件,其工作状态关系到电机与动力电池的... 降低辅助系统能耗是在不提升电池容量前提下增加电动汽车续航里程和消减里程焦虑最为有效的技术途径之一。风扇与水泵是冷却辅助系统的重要组成部分,是保证电动汽车电机与动力电池正常工作的核心部件,其工作状态关系到电机与动力电池的工作效率及使用寿命。现有风扇水泵控制策略以阈值控制策略为主,但存在性能过剩,能耗较高的问题。这里提出以能耗优化为目标的风扇水泵控制策略,可以在满足散热性能的前提下降低能耗。通过搭建KULI一维热管理模型对某款电动汽车风扇和水泵进行了转速控制仿真研究。对比分析发现,在单个CLTC-P循环工况下,采用能耗优化为目标控制策略的冷却系统能耗较阈值控制策略的能耗低49.5%。 展开更多
