Panax Ginseng(2n=48)represents a quintessential resource in traditional Chinese medicine,renowned for its outstanding medicinal and economic benefits(Choi,2008).But the late start in analyzing the ginseng genome and t...Panax Ginseng(2n=48)represents a quintessential resource in traditional Chinese medicine,renowned for its outstanding medicinal and economic benefits(Choi,2008).But the late start in analyzing the ginseng genome and the poorly developed genetic transformation system still impede the study of ginseng gene function and the application of molecular breeding.Transient transformation has the advantages of high efficiency,low cost,and short cycle while laying the foundation for stable genetic transformation(Chen et al.,2021).In the plant transformation process,the cell wall prevents exogenous DNA or protein entry,significantly reducing the efficiency of the transformation.Protoplasts,as exposed cells wrapped by the plasma membrane,are more likely to absorb exogenous DNA,RNA,and protein.Transgenic systems of protoplasts have been established in several species and applied in many fields,such as gene function research(Gou et al.,2020),gene editing(Yang et al.,2023),and physiological or molecular mechanism research(Aoyagi,2011).For instance,Oryza sativa protoplasts were employed to screen genes involved in rice defense signaling pathways through fluorescent reporter systems,with BiFC employed to verified inter-protein interactions(He et al.,2016).A study transformed Cannabis sativa L.protoplasts with the plasmids carrying GFP and RFP genes,evaluated the efficiency under different transformation conditions by flow cytometry,and verified the induction of synthetic DR5 promoter by IAA based on the constructed system(Beard et al.,2021).展开更多

Because of factors such as energy and time one invests in an object,the stronger the connection,value,and reluc-tance to lose said object individual will have.Hoarding behavior arises when individuals incorporate a st...Because of factors such as energy and time one invests in an object,the stronger the connection,value,and reluc-tance to lose said object individual will have.Hoarding behavior arises when individuals incorporate a strong attachment with themselves to an object.The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of self-investment on hoarding tendency and the roles of possession-self link and liking level in this connection.A hypothetical model of the relationship between self-investment,possession-self link,liking level,and hoarding tendency was tested.A convenience sampling method was used to survey 450 college students in Yunnan Province on either a paper-based or online self-report scale.The data were collected using self-investment,possession-self link,and liking level questionnaires,as well as the Saving Inventory Revised.Results showed positive relationship between the study variables,ranging from 0.37 to 0.87.College students’self-investment had a direct positive pre-dictive effect on hoarding tendency;self-investment,in turn,indirectly predicted hoarding tendency through the mediating effect of possession-self link;and individual liking level of items had a moderating effect for self-invest-ment on the possession-self link.This study shows how self-investment affects the hoarding tendency of college students,and the results of this study also help demonstrate the value of self-investment and possession-self link in optimizing students’hoarding tendency and thus promoting good psychological status.展开更多
The objective of this research is to investigate a new concept model of brand equity measurement in the economy beer industry of Thailand by using five factors of brand equity which are brand awareness, brand liking, ...The objective of this research is to investigate a new concept model of brand equity measurement in the economy beer industry of Thailand by using five factors of brand equity which are brand awareness, brand liking, brand purchase intention, brand satisfaction and brand loyalty along with the consumer behavior. The respondents are 379 males and females who have at least occasionally had a beer during the past few years. The findings show that males are more likely to drink beer regularly and in larger quantities. The average respondent seems to drink beer in order to relax and socialize at parties. Respondents recognize Leo beer more than the other two brands in this study. Descriptive statistics and statistical analysis are presented for individuals, managers, as well as for advertising and marketing professionals. Suggestions and links for personal brand building are also offered.展开更多

Personality factors could predict relationship satisfaction through the influence of indivi...Healthy relationships are important to functioning in daily life and across the life-span （e.g., Burman and Margolin 1992）. Personality factors could predict relationship satisfaction through the influence of individuals＇ relationship schemas （Fiske and Taylor 1991） and perceptions of their partners （Simpson and Rholes 1998）. Given the potential importance of attachment styles to relationship mechanisms and the well-established relationship between attachment and interpersonal behavior （Bartholomew and Horowitz 1992; Hazan and Shaver 1987）, interpersonal traits may influence relationship satisfaction directly. According to Leary＇s （1957） interpersonal reflex theory, any interpersonal act elicits responses from the other person that verify, validate, or otherwise reinforce the actor＇s own self-image and self-presentation, and thus increase the probability that the actor will emit similar interpersonal acts in future interactions. The Impact Message Inventory （IMI） attempts to measure individuals＇ perceptions of how others impact them by evoking interpersonal acts such as dominance and affiliation. This study examined the influence of perceived partner-evoked behavior and individuals＇ own interpersonal styles on relationship satisfaction. This study used IMI measures of evoked Dominance and Affiliation as well as revised Liking and Loving measures to predict relationship satisfaction using three different satisfaction outcome measures. The final analyses included 291 participants （134 men and 157 women） who completed a scantron survey. Partner impact, or the interpersonal behaviors, evoked from the individual during interaction, predicted relationship satisfaction well. Evoked affiliation was the most consistently strong predictor of satisfaction across all three outcome measures. Liking （distinct here from affiliation） is a stronger predictor of relationship satisfaction than is loving （distinct here from passion）, and it is significant across all three outcome measures. The liking measure appears to reflect a relatively high level of reward in the relationship and intrinsic enjoyment of the partner＇s company without the comparative cost of loving. Future research should examine interactions between couples, moving beyond intrapsychic self-reports of perceived experiences and feelings, although these are important in their own right.展开更多
