Exploring the spatial evolution patterns of land use in creative urban tourism complexes provides theoretical and decision-making support to foster creative tourism projects.This study focuses on the Hangzhou Leisure ...Exploring the spatial evolution patterns of land use in creative urban tourism complexes provides theoretical and decision-making support to foster creative tourism projects.This study focuses on the Hangzhou Leisure Expo Garden as a case study,utilizing a land use change index model to analyze the spatial evolution characteristics and dynamic processes of creative urban tourism complexes,as well as to explore their spatial differentiation mechanisms.The analysis indicates that Hangzhou Leisure Expo Garden,initially a derelict industrial area dominated by production and residential land use,has evolved into a creative urban tourism complex with tourism comprehensive service land at its core,going through the pattern evolution processes of“constrained sprawl,”“intensive expansion,”and“random integration.”From the perspective of tourism human-land relationships,the formation of land use evolution patterns in creative urban tourism complexes results from various stakeholders(government,tourism enterprises,residents,tourists,etc.),as humanistic factors,continuously adapting to specific urban spaces,which are considered as geographical elements and have locational advantages and are oriented towards economic and social values.Based on the acquisition of stakeholder interests,the transformation of resource-disadvantaged areas into tourism advantage areas is facilitated,thereby achieving the re-creation of tourism creative space and promoting intensive spatial growth.展开更多
The investigation of whether sediment samples contain representative grain size distribution information is important for the accurate extraction of sediment characteristics and conduct of related sedimentary record s...The investigation of whether sediment samples contain representative grain size distribution information is important for the accurate extraction of sediment characteristics and conduct of related sedimentary record studies.This study comparatively analyzed the numerical and qualitative differences and the degree of correlation of 36 sets of the characteristic parameters of surface sediment parallel sample grain size distribution from three sampling profiles at Jinsha Bay Beach in Zhanjiang,western Guangdong.At each sampling point,five parallel subsamples were established at intervals of 0,10,20,50,and 100 cm along the coastline.The research findings indicate the following:1)relatively large differences in the mean values of the different parallel samples(0.19–0.34Φ),with smaller differences observed in other characteristic grain sizes(D_(10),D_(50),and D_(90));2)small differences in characteristic values among various parallel sample grain size parameters,with at least 33%of the combinations of qualitative results showing inconsistency;3)50%of the regression equations between the skewness of different parallel samples displaying no significant correlation;4)relative deviations of−47.91%to 27.63%and−49.20%to 2.08%existing between the particle size parameters of a single sample and parallel samples(with the average obtained)at intervals of 10 and 50 cm,respectively.As such,small spatial differences,even within 100 cm,can considerably affect grain size parameters.Given the uncertain reasons underlying the representativeness of the samples,which may only cover the area immediately surrounding the sampling station,researchers are advised to design parallel sample collection strategies based on the spatiotemporal distribution characteristics of the parameters of interest during sediment sample collection.This study provides a typical case of the comparative analysis of parallel sample grain size parameters,with a focus on small spatial beach sediment,which contributes to the enhanced understanding of the accuracy and reliability of sediment sample collection strategies and extraction of grain size information.展开更多

文摘Leisure agriculture in Beijing suburb enjoys a promising prospect with wide customer sources and policy supports. The research performed analysis on man- agement status and employees of leisure agriculture-oriented industrial parks in Daxing District by questionnaire survey in order to seek development strategies and promote transformation and updating of leisure agriculture in Daxing District. The re- sults showed that there are some problems in leisure agricultural parks in terms of software or hardware and some suggestions are proposed, including environment updating, product updating, brand updating, industry structure updating, scale updat- ing, organization updating, and talent updating, in order to promote social brand and improve economic profits of leisure agriculture in Daxing District.

文摘The construction of Hainan International Tourism Island creates a promising prospect for the development of its tropical leisure agro-tourism, and the latter will contribute a lot to the former in the fields of economy, ecology and culture. The present situation and development prospects of tropical leisure agro-tourism in the context of constructing International Tourism Island in Hainan are introduced in this study, SWOT analysis of tropical leisure agro-tourism in Hainan is conducted, causes of imperfect tropical leisure agro-tourism in Hainan Island are elaborated such as insufficient understanding and investment, fragile infrastructure and lack of overall tourism planning despite its abundant tropical agricultural resources, marine resources, forest resources and ecological resources as well as convenient transportation. Combining with the opportunities and challenges in developing tourism industry, targeted strategies are proposed for promoting the tropical leisure agro-tourism, that is, enhancing understanding about leisure agro-tourism; determining the target and orientation of tourism planning through basic classification, properly defining functional divisions and spatial layout; improving relevant laws and regulations about tourism industry; attaching more importance in attracting alien investment; fully developing the tropical, marine, green and ecological features of tropical leisure agro-tourism in Hainan Island; cultivating resources, scenic spots and products of different types respectively in tourism development, especially culturing typical products; protecting ecological environment, implementing sustainable development of tourism industry; making innovations in marketing, accurately subdividing tourism market.
文摘Leisure agriculture is a new form of agricultural production and management in the course of agricultural structure adjustment.It is an aggregation of agricultural production and tourism,high-tech and traditional agriculture,agricultural value and regional cultural values.There is the inseparable relationship between Leisure agriculture and sustainable development.Four agricultural areas of China have rich but different agricultural and tourist resources,by which different types of leisure agriculture can be layed out.It is important to make a right orientation for leisure agriculture in various agricultural areas for sustainable development of agriculture in China.

文摘Through in-depth analysis, this paper proposed development planning of leisure agriculture in Hainan. The layout included orderly development and overal planning, connection of three expressways and middle area for recreation and the rest for sightseeing; the site selection should develop depending on central cities, relying on major projects and famous mountains or landscapes; the connotation in-volved exploitation of farming culture, presenting national customs of indigenous people, highlights given to island and coasts and emphasizing tropic agriculture. What＇s more, the suggestions were proposed to advance leisure agriculture of Hainan, including to formulate scientific planning to lead leisure agriculture develop-ment, to give policy supports and enterprise management, to improve promotion and broadening market and to enhance education and improve industry quality. On basis of lots of data and examples, the research enriched the content of leisure agricul-ture in Hainan, which is conductive to development of Hainan leisure agriculture, and of significance for construction of leisure agriculture sites and supports of the agriculture by government.

文摘This study examines the leisure motivations among people who participate in cycling as a form of serious leisure. It examines what motivates cyclists to build a life around cycling. This study is a replicative study to Robert G. LaChausse＇s study on leisure motivations among cyclists. This study used the Serious Leisure Inventory and Measure （SLIM） created by James Gould. Participants were contacted through a variety of local and national list serves. Potential applications of this study include education, coaching, training, planning, and the creation of programs to encourage long-term cycling among bike users. The primary purpose of this study was to examine the motivations of mountain bikers, commuter cyclists, and other cyclists using the SLIM created by James Gould and the Leisure Motivation Scale.
