Objective:To analyze the impact of nursing interventions based on quantitative assessment using the Kano model on the quality of rehabilitation in patients with early-stage ovarian cancer following laparoscopic radica...Objective:To analyze the impact of nursing interventions based on quantitative assessment using the Kano model on the quality of rehabilitation in patients with early-stage ovarian cancer following laparoscopic radical surgery.Methods:A prospective clinical study was conducted involving 96 patients with newly diagnosed early-stage ovarian cancer who underwent laparoscopic radical surgery from December 2023 to December 2025.Patients were randomly assigned to groups using a random number table method before surgery.After surgery,the control group(n=48)received routine quantitative assessment nursing interventions,while the observation group(n=48)received nursing interventions based on quantitative assessment using the Kano model.Both groups received continuous nursing care until discharge.Differences between the groups were compared in terms of negative emotions,quality of life scores before and after postoperative intervention,postoperative recovery indicators,and nursing satisfaction evaluations on the day of discharge.Results:After intervention,the observation group had lower scores on the Self-Rating Anxiety Scale(SAS)and Self-Rating Depression Scale(SDS),as well as shorter recovery times for gastrointestinal function and food intake,and a shorter hospital stay compared to the control group.Additionally,the observation group had higher scores on the Quality-of-Life Instrument for Cancer Patients-Ovarian Cancer(QLICP-OV)than the control group,with statistically significant differences(p<0.05).The overall satisfaction with nursing care in the observation group was also higher than that in the control group,with a statistically significant difference(p<0.05).Conclusion:Implementing quantitative evaluation nursing interventions based on the Kano model for patients with early-stage ovarian cancer after laparoscopic radical surgery can,by addressing their postoperative basic health,disease awareness,and other intervention content needs to a comprehensive degree,actively promote postoperative recovery and improve their mental health and quality of life.展开更多

In the design practice, technologies such as sensors, signal processing, and control systems were adopted to achieve precise recognition and intelligent control of snoring sounds. The primary objective of this study is to apply the Evaluation Grid Method(EGM)and the continuous fuzzy Kano quality model to explore the cognitive preferences of Taiwan China residents regarding the beauty of Taiwan...The primary objective of this study is to apply the Evaluation Grid Method(EGM)and the continuous fuzzy Kano quality model to explore the cognitive preferences of Taiwan China residents regarding the beauty of Taiwan’s China landscape paintings.The aim is to contribute to the development of social and cultural art and promote the widespread appeal of art products.Through a literature review,consultations with aesthetic experts,and the application of Miryoku Engineering’s EGM,this paper consolidates the factors that contribute to the attractiveness of painting art products among Taiwan China residents,taking into account various aesthetic qualities.Simultaneously,the paper introduces the use of the triangular fuzzy golden ratio scale semantics,specifically the equal-ratio aesthetic scale semantics,as a replacement for the traditional subjective consciousness model.Departing from the traditional discrete Kano model that employs the mode as the standard for evaluating quality,this study applies triangular fuzzy numbers to the continuous Kano quality model to analyze the diverse preferences and evaluation standards of the public.The hope is that this research methodology will not only deepen Taiwan China residents’understanding and aesthetic literacy of painting art but also serve as a reference for the popularization of art products.展开更多

BACKGROUND In the intensive care unit(ICU)setting,patients with end-stage gastrointestinal cancer(GIC)frequently bear a heavier symptom burden,see faster functional regression,and struggle with eating impairments.Thes...BACKGROUND In the intensive care unit(ICU)setting,patients with end-stage gastrointestinal cancer(GIC)frequently bear a heavier symptom burden,see faster functional regression,and struggle with eating impairments.These further increase the demands and complexities of nursing care.AIM To discuss the development of Kano model-driven ICU end-of-life care(ICUEOLC)strategies for patients with GIC and its implications for quality of death(QoD).METHODS This study enrolled 115 patients with end-stage GIC admitted to the ICU from June 2021 to June 2024.A Kano model-driven ICU-EOLC protocol was applied to the observation group(n=65),contrasting with routine care in the control group(n=50).Pre-intervention and post-intervention comparisons were made in terms of psychological well-being[Hospital Anxiety and Depression Scale(HADS)],quality of life(QoL)[European Organization for Research and Treatment of Cancer Quality of Life Questionnaire Core 15 Palliative Care Version(EORTC QLQ-C15-PAL)],QoD(Chinese version of the Quality of Dying and Death in the ICU Scale),death-related attitudes[Revised Death Attitude Profile(DAP-R)],and nursing care satisfaction.RESULTS Compared with controls,patients in the observation group scored markedly lower on HADS(all domains),EORTC QLQ-C15-PAL(symptom domain),and DAP-R(escape acceptance,fear of death,and death avoidance),while achieving statistically higher scores on EORTC QLQ-C15-PAL(physical function and overall QoL dimensions),C-QDD-ICU,DAP-R(natural and approaching acceptance),and nursing care satisfaction measures.CONCLUSION Kano model-driven ICU-EOLC interventions significantly reduced anxiety and depression in patients with endstage GIC,and patients’quality of life,QoD,death-related attitudes,and nursing satisfaction were improved.展开更多
