This editorial highlights a recently published study examining the effectiveness of music therapy combined with motivational interviewing(MI)in addressing an-xiety and depression among young and middle-aged patients following percuta-neous coronary intervention. It further explores existing evidence and potential future research directions for MI in postoperative rehabilitation and chronic disease management.MI aims to facilitate behavioral change and promote healthier lifestyles by fostering a trusting relationship with patients and enhan-cing intrinsic motivation.Research has demonstrated its effectiveness in posto-perative recovery for oncological surgery, stroke, organ transplants, and gastroin-testinal procedures,as well as in managing chronic conditions such as diabetes, obesity, and periodontal disease. The approach is patient-centered,adaptable,cost-effective,and easily replicable, though its limitations include reliance on the therapist’s expertise, variability in individual responses, and insufficient long-term follow-up studies.Future research could focus on developing individualized and precise intervention models, exploring applications in digital health management, and confirming long-term outcomes to provide more compre-hensive support for patient rehabilitation. 展开更多

Cardiac rehabilitation is a crucial multidisciplinary approach to improve patient outcomes. There is a growing body of evidence that suggests that these programs contribute towards reducing cardiovascular mortality and recurrence.Despite this, cardiac rehabilitation is underutilized and adherence to these programs has been a demonstrated barrier in achieving these outcomes. As a result, there is a growing focus on innovating these programs, especially from the standpoint of digital health and personalized medicine. This editorial discusses the possible roles of large language models, such as their role in ChatGPT,in further personalizing cardiac rehabilitation programs through simplifying medical jargon and employing motivational interviewing techniques, thus boosting patient engagement and adherence. However, these possibilities must be further investigated in the clinical literature.Likewise, the integration of large language models in cardiac rehabilitation will be challenging in its nascent stages to ensure accurate and ethical information delivery. 展开更多

Objective:This review paper explores the concept, spirit, principles, and core skills of moti-vational interviewing(MI)as a psychological approach applied to CHD patients. Methods:Literature reviews based on English and Chinese articles. Results:The English and Chinese literature provided strong evidence for the effectiveness of MI in terms of behavior changes, blood pressure control, hyperglycemia and hyperlipidemia control, compliance improvement, and improving quality of life amongst chronic heart failure patients. The Happy Life Club(HLC)is the only randomized controlled trial(RCT)that examined the effects of MI on behavior changes and self-management improvements in Chinese patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus. The HLC pilot revealed positive outcomes, and RCTs will provide further evidence. Conclusion:MI has been expanded in its application to a wider range of lifestyle-related chronic diseases, including CHD.At the time of this review,MI represents a new concept and ap-proach in China for improving physical and mental health(body and mind)in patients with CHD.In order to integrate MI into medical practice, the authors suggest improving the medical education curriculum and strengthening vocational training, while conducting further research initiatives to assess the innovation and inform practice management. 展开更多

The Master Intelligent interview is based on the Stimulus-Organism-Response(SOR)theory,this study integrates key constructs from the Technology Acceptance Model(TAM)and the Theory of Planned Behavior(TPB),namely attitude and behavioral intention,to develop a dual-path model of how AI empowerment influences college graduates’acceptance of intelligent interview technology.Taking AI empowerment as the independent variable, perceived risk and attitude as mediating variables, and behavioral intention as the outcome variable, the study employs questionnaire surveys and structural equation modeling(SEM)for empirical analysis. The results show that AI empowerment exerts a significant positive impact on attitude, perceived risk, and behavioral intention. Both perceived risk and attitude play significant mediating roles between AI empowerment and behavioral intention.Interestingly, perceived risk does not suppress behavioral intention;instead,it positively promotes it through a“rational trade-off”mechanism.Moreover,perceived risk and attitude form a significant chain-mediated pathway, revealing a continuous psychological transmission mechanism of“rational cognition-emotional adjustment-behavioral decision-making”.This study enriches the theoretical framework of AI technology acceptance, extends the application of the SOR model to the context of intelligent recruitment, and provides valuable implications for optimizing university career guidance and enterprise recruitment systems. 展开更多

Background and Purpose: In recent years, individual spirituality has been attracting attention, but little research has been conducted as it relates to family spirituality that applies this concept to the family and relates to the meaning of the family’s existence in terms of the entire family. The purpose of this study was to clarify the attributes of family spirituality and the influencing factors of its decline. Methods: Regarding family spirituality, 1) a literature search was conducted using PubMed and reviews of 20 English-language articles;and 2) semi-structured interviews were conducted with 12 Japanese families having elderly members in the household. Data triangulation was performed for both, and a directed content analysis was conducted using Hohashi’s Concentric Sphere Family Environment Theory as the framework. Results: Attributes of family spirituality included 21 categories, such as “I think that my family exists for my children and grandchildren.” Factors influencing the decline in family spirituality included 20 categories in total, including 6 categories of risk/causal/promoting factors such as “lack of caring for family members”;11 categories of preventive/inhibitory/suppression factors such as “healthcare professionals not being close to the family”;and three categories of context-sensitive factors such as “death of a family member.” Conclusions/Implications for Practice: Family intervention requires nurses to understand the attributes of family spirituality and to control the influencing factors of a decline in family spirituality. Through such efforts, families will be able to discover the meaning of the existence of the family and maintain and improve their well-being. 展开更多
